Peace isn't just a fleeting emotional state—it's the ultimate flex, the true marker of success in our lives. And the pathway to this peace? It's simpler than we might think.

The transformative practice of "zooming out" offers a revolutionary approach to handling life's challenges. When we're caught in the grip of a problem—whether it's a flight delay, a heated argument, or a career setback—our natural tendency is to zoom in, magnifying the issue until it consumes our entire field of vision. This tunnel vision creates the perfect breeding ground for anxiety, convincing us that this moment, this problem, is everything.

And, as a special bonus, I want to give you FREE access to my signature course, Slay Your Year (usually $997)! All you have to do is:

  • Leave a review of this podcast.

Simple as that!

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Let it Be Easy with Susie Moore.
I've come to realize, myfriends, that so much of peace,
feeling peace, which to me issuccess, right, this feeling of
peace to me is the biggest flex.
This feeling of peace isachieved I don't want to say

(00:27):
almost always, because of coursethere are exceptions, but this
is how strongly I feel about it.
But this feeling of peace isokay.
I'm going to say almost alwaysjust about doing one thing which
is zooming out.
In my book, let it Be Easy, Ihave a chapter called when In
Doubt, zoom Out.

(00:47):
If you like this podcast, you'll love the Let it Be Easy
book.
A lot of people have it ontheir nightstand.
They flick to a page and itturns out to be the exact
message that they need.
I recommend definitely gettingyour hands on a copy.
But here's the reality, myfriends.
But here's the reality, myfriends.
Zoom out Perspective.
Look at your history as proof.

(01:10):
Things actually working out foryou, even if they felt that
they weren't, when you had toactually even forgive somebody
or you wanted to forgivesomebody.
It's not because you knowyou're just making peace and
brushing over feelings, and it'snot because you are just making
peace and brushing overfeelings, and it's not because
you are just kind of settlingfor this or faking it.

(01:30):
There is a real zoom out portionthat is always involved in my
experience when it comes tofeeling peace, because we feel
stress.
We feel a lot of anxiety in ourbodies when we're focused with
an immediate problem.
Right, the flight's delayed.
That person was rude, I didn'tget the opportunity.
Oh my God, I hate my X, y, zfill in the blank.

(01:55):
What about zooming out Seriously?
I mean even when it comes tosomething like a flight delay?
Yeah, it's inconvenient thatday and maybe we're sitting
around for a couple of hours, but does it matter?
Like, is there actually anyreal loss or are you just a
couple of hours behind?
What about when it comes toeven healing a relationship?
Maybe it's with a relative?
We know that it doesn't happenimmediately, nor should it.

(02:17):
Space is required, time isrequired, perspective zoom out.
Things feel really big whenthey're currently happening.
Right, we can feel reallysucked in and overwhelmed.
Whatever situation we're in,our mind will have us believe
that that's it, this iseverything.
But when we zoom out right, this is what happens.

(02:40):
So much in self-coaching society.
We look at times in our lifewhen we've handled hard things
before, or that thing that wedidn't want, that we feel that
is being withheld from us.
Somehow We've realizedsomething better actually came
around, in a form that we couldnever even have predicted.
Whatever it is that's causingyou discomfort right now.

(03:01):
Maybe it's your career, maybeit's your relationship, maybe
it's your money.
Can you zoom out?
Can you have some perspectivearound this moment or this
situation or this particularpoint in your life?
Do you have to make a decisiontoday?
Does everything have to be arush today?
Does something have to be fixedright this second?
Or can we take a breath, comeback to our center and zoom out?

(03:27):
Zoom out of the situation, zoomout of the relationship.
Look at your life from more of abird's eye view, this struggle
that you're facing.
Haven't you been through loadsof situations like these before?
The way that that person'sbehaving look, maybe it's your
mother, your sister, yourhusband.
Hasn't this happened before?
And you've worked things out?
You've gone to therapy, you'vedone work on yourself.

(03:48):
There's always been like anoutcome that hasn't been
expected, but it might be someform of improvement.
When in doubt, zoom out.
Don't make decisions whenyou're feeling super hot.
Don't make decisions, or don'tmake panic-based decisions
because something feelsall-consuming Peace, steadiness,

(04:10):
truth, perspective, actuallyliving in reality, not just
reacting, reacting, reacting butresponding to life consciously.
Zoom out, my friends Untiltomorrow.
So much love and ease $37.
