Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome to Let it Be Easy with Susie Moore.
Oh, I have a good fable for youtoday.
I am just loving these.
I kind of wanted to do this asan uninterrupted series, but
then I thought, oh, I've gotother thoughts and ideas.
So let me know, do you like it?

(00:22):
Are you vibing with these?
Please leave me a review, too,if you haven't already.
My Promise to you is a dailyfree podcast with no commercials
, no ads, no, sorry.
So what I ask of you, myfriends, is to please leave me a
rating and a review on whateverplatform you listen to this

(00:44):
podcast.
And also, why not share it witha couple of friends today, so
we can share the Let it Be Easymessage far and wide?
Okay, my friends, the fabletoday is a short one.
It's called the Mole and HisMother.
A mole, a creature blind fromits birth, once said to his

(01:07):
mother I'm sure that I can seemother In the desire to prove to
him his mistake.
His mother placed before him afew grains of frankincense and
asked what is it?
The young mole said what is it?

(01:29):
The young mole said it's apebble.
His mother exclaimed my son,I'm afraid that you were not
only blind, but you've also lostyour sense of smell.
Do you see the moral of thestory here, my friends?
To me it wasn't obvious atfirst.
It wasn't apparent at first.
I read it a couple of times.
Here's my takeaway Especiallyif you've ever experienced this,

(01:50):
I think that this fable canreally land with you.
If someone is prideful inabilities that they don't
actually have, it just exposesyour deeper weakness.
I've seen this over the yearsin the coaching industry.
You know, people have these bigclaims and there's not a lot of

(02:10):
regulation in the field andthey'll make these kind of big
statements and rah-rah promisesand then it's just like it's
like hot air.
It's nothing, that people don'tget results.
And if you pretend to knowthings that you don't know, if
you speak out of turn, if youportray yourself as more

(02:33):
experienced or capable than youare in any moment, it only
highlights your blind spotsMaybe not immediately, like with
this mole, but down the track.
Maybe not immediately, likewith this mole, but down the
track.
If you want to grow, you cannotlive in this place of
self-deception, right?
We talk about this all the timein self-coaching society.

(02:53):
The foundation of self-help istelling yourself the truth,
right?
Self-trust is the foundation ofself-confidence and when we're
blind to this, it creates somany limitations when we think,
oh, I can do that, I know this,I know that we have these blind
spots that we don't attend to,that we don't bother to repair

(03:17):
or bother to work on, and thislack of self-awareness only
makes our limitations more andmore apparent.
Self-awareness only makes ourlimitations more and more
apparent when we're humble, whenwe're curious, when we can say
I don't know, when we can bewilling to learn, when we can

(03:37):
seek out counsel of others, whenwe can just really own what our
strengths are and what they'renot, doors can open.
We can reach new levels.
Where can you be applying thisright now?
You don't have to knoweverything.
That's not your job.

(03:57):
I'm not ChatGPT, I'm not Google, but I do know what my
strengths are, I do know what Ican do well, I do know where I
can get results for other people.
And that is enough Untiltomorrow, my friends.
So much love and ease.
Hey friend, are you feelingstuck in any area of your life

(04:23):
right now?
I've got you.
With over a decade in coachingand a thousand self-help books
under my belt.
I've refined six journalprompts that I'm giving to you
for free that'll help you coachyourself to a better life in
just six days.

If you feel stuck, if you everbattle self-doubt, if you feel
