What if you don't need moreconfidence, you just need a
better memory?
I said this to a friend of mine.
We were on the phone and a fewthings are kind of going in an

unwanted way.
In her life she's had a bit ofa business dip.
There's also somethinghappening with her home
renovation that she's not verypleased with.
It's taking longer than shewanted, it's costing more and we
get it right.
Life happens, life gets lifey.
Things happen that we don'twant or don't expect.
It happens all the time to allof us.

But I could tell that she washaving this I don't want to say
crisis of confidence, but shewasn't feeling like herself.
And I know who this girl is.
She's bold and strong andwonderful and powerful.
But we forget that in certainmoments, don't we?
Especially, I think, if morethan one thing is going wrong at
a time, we can just want tothrow our hands up in the air

and go oh my God, and we feelscared and overwhelmed and,
frankly, we forget who we are inthose moments.
So I said to her oh my gosh,haven't you already done or
overcome harder things than this, a business dip, a home
renovation.
She's actually renovated manyhomes in her past and she's like

, oh yeah, you know, I reallystarted with nothing and I've
had bigger problems to deal withthan XYZ that's happening in
her home and I was like, yeah,well, just remember that.
Just remember that.
Come back to the truth, comeback to reality.
You've survived every worst day, every bad day, sorry, the
worst times in your life.

You're still here standing,maybe remembering who you are
and what you've already overcome, what you've already survived,
what you've already livedthrough.
You've been through some stuff,am I right?
You've come to this age onplanet earth?
You've overcome some difficultthings, so why not just remember

What if you don't need any moreconfidence in your body today?
What if you just needed abetter memory?
In this moment?
Remembering who you are is morepowerful and more important
than trying to become someone orfake something that you don't
need to fake.
You just need to come on backto who you've always been and if

you need proof of this, take amoment, write down, take a
second, put me on pause, I'llwait.
Write down 10 hard things thatyou've already overcome in your
life, and don't just talk aboutthe last year.
Talk about your childhood.
What have you lived through?
What have you experienced?
And you are still standing.
You've survived all of yourworst days, all of your worst

experiences, all of those toughsituations.
Have you survived a job loss?
Have you survived heartbreak?
Have you survived losing aparent?
What have you already overcome?
What have you already overcome?
What is the reality of you?
And through that lens can yousee your current challenge?
