Simone Biles blew me away when she demonstrated how to put your mental health first on the world's stage (the Olympics).  So in honor of her radical act of self-love and self-care, this episode is about my past struggle with perfectionism and my journey to understanding that my mental health must come first to be successful in any other area of my life.  We also talk about what happened to me when I ignored my mental health for a long time.  Of course, we also touch on ACEs (Adverse Childhood Events), mental health in schools,  and trauma-informed classrooms.  To learn more, visit the resources below.
