Nick always had a lot of things on his mind but rarely had anyone to share them with. That's why he has a podcast. He grew up watching cartoons, tv, and movies in the late 2000s, 2010s and has a special place in his heart for all things 90s and the golden age of cartoons which sparked his love for film in general. "Let's Discuss!" is a show where he analyzes his favorite shows/movies, talks about whatever is on his mind, and gives listeners funny content with what's going on in pop culture and the internet in the "Gossip Session" episodes. Nick Marshall is pop culture and wants you to know it.

I've been in and out of fandom spaces since I was twelve years old and I'm starting to realize how intense fandoms can be. Fandoms are a community of people who come together due to a shared interest and somehow it brings out the worst in us. From constant arguing online, stanning problematic celebrities, or even writing fanfics based on real-life people I've seen and experienced it all. So, let's discuss how fandoms are intense.

Last year was the big year for Indie animation with Hazbin Hotel premiering on Prime and shows like Digital Circus breaking the internet. I've talked about how golden age cartoon characters are struggling with relevance, but I'm wondering what makes these new indie toons so popular. Today I'm talking about Vivziepop and how her shows contributed to the rise of Indie animation.
I recently learned that the streaming service Max has deleted the old cartoons of the Looney Tunes since the release of its movie "The day the earth blew up". This has left me a bit disappointed in Warner Bros. because it wasn't the first time they disrespected these characters. It also made me realize that the Looney Tunes have been struggling for relevance for years since the golden age of cartoons ended.

I usually don't get involved in TikTok discourse because it's very unserious but this showed up on my fyp so much that I needed say my two cents. I'm talking about the "Who gon be the boys?" trend and how an inside joke turned into an excuse for homophobia.

Todd Anderson and Richard Cameron are different characters but somehow similar. In fact, they could actually be friends if the story wasn't set up for them to hate each other.

The ship "Anderperry" has become sort of an agreed upon canon to fans of Dead Poets Society but some disagree so much to point of being homophobic. I was very curious as to why and when I looked it up the reasons said that some felt it "doesn't make sense" or it's "forced" so today we're going to be talking about the queer coding of Neil and Todd and why their possible romantic relationship makes sense to the movie.

Apparently if you went to college you are allowed to start a podcast. This is something that has been going on for two years and people have spoken about it, but I haven't yet. Emma Chamberlain's podcast "Anything Goes" has been entertaining people since 2020 and recently people are finding ways to criticize it online. While some are valid there are others that have rubbed me the wrong way. Let's Discuss!

During Valentine's Day weekend a TikToker named Nijie Taylor hard launched his relationship with actor Jahi Winston. An actor known for Netflix's "Everything Sucks" and other roles. This had a mixed response with some people being supportive to people questioning the validity of the relationship. One comment made an assumption that Nijie had corrupted Jahi which made me want to create this episode in the first place. It seems like ...

Euphoria season three has just started filming and fans are excited. However, with everything that has happened with the show since 2022 with the finale and Angus Cloud's death, it created some questions on if the show will even be good after these events. Let's discuss the season two finale, Angus Cloud's death, and my predictions for the third season.

Richard Cameron is a very complex character in Dead Poets Society. The discourse I've been seeing online is that he is an overtly a villainous character. But that doesn't sit right with me. The biggest question to ask is he an actual villain or just a product of environment? This also made me realize that we as viewers say we want more realistic and complex characters but when we get them it causes us to recoil. So why don't we wan...
Did I make an entire one-hour episode talking about Olivia Rodrigo's album 'GUTS' and the events that happened while making it to release on her 22nd birthday? Yes, yes, I did. Follow the podcast on Instagram @piscesprincepodcast and my Instagram @nick.marshall02 for more updates on the show.
I've seen many ships in my lifetime of watching media. "Friends to lovers", "Enemies to lovers", "Opposite attract", "Childhood friends", etc. But the kind of ships that I like are the ones that are always up for debate. The ones are very ambiguous to the audience. These are the types of ships that have viewers debating if they are just friends or lovers, but the interesting part is that the ship works either way. When a "Ship" wor...
It wasn't that long ago when Emma Chamberlain and Role Model hard launched their relationship with a photoshoot with GQ magazine followed by an interview and a couple's quiz video on YouTube. However, in October of 2023 it was reported that they broke up. Their relationship was the perfect example of being "private but not secret" but fans have been curious as to what happened to make them break up. Now after almost two years we ha...
