In this heartfelt episode, Crystal Slatton shares her powerful journey of resilience, from overcoming childhood trauma and early homelessness to raising a child as a single mother. Through self-reflection, Crystal realized that healing required setting boundaries and acknowledging her own role in the challenges she faced. Her story is one of transformation—learning to listen to her inner whisper, take responsibility, and ultimately give back by empowering others. This conversation is a reminder that growth begins with honesty, and that we each have the ability to speak change into existence and uplift those around us.

Crystal Slatton is a Certified Integrative Health and Wellness Coach and graduate of the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN), as well as the founder of My Healing Harmony, a soul-centered wellness practice offering intuitive, holistic support. Her personal journey from burnout and stress to inner peace inspired her mission to help others move from surviving to thriving. Crystal blends evidence-based wellness strategies with mindfulness, spiritual alignment, and intuitive guidance through 1:1 coaching, group programs, workshops, and her signature Harmony Bracelets. Her work is especially rooted in supporting Black and Brown communities through culturally aware, emotionally safe, and spiritually affirming practices. As a speaker and panelist, she brings warmth, lived experience, and grounded insight to conversations around self-love, emotional wellness, and mindful living—believing that true wellness is a continuous return to authenticity, compassion, and wholeness.

This podcast dives deep into real, raw topics—think vulnerability, triggers, and childhood trauma. But just so we're super clear: I’m not a licensed therapist, mental health professional, or anything close. I’m just a human sharing stories, lessons, and life hacks based on personal experience and a whole lot of curiosity.

So, while you might find some golden nuggets here, this is not therapy and should never replace professional mental health care. If you or someone you love is going through it, please—seriously—reach out to a licensed therapist or healthcare provider. You deserve the real deal.
