I sincerely hope you recognize that quote because today we are watching Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen’s classic movie, Holiday in the Sun!
Now, I’ve been on a Christmas theme for a couple of weeks, and this fits right in, it’s winter break! That counts!
Holiday in the Sun is one of the last films that Mary-Kate and her fraternal twins sister, Ashley made before the became luxury fashion designers. If you’re not familiar with the famous twins of the nineties then buckle the seat belt of your own private jet because we are about to dive into the Bahamas for some silly antics, corny dialogue, and awkward love triangles!
Holiday in the sun follows sisters, Alex and Maddison as they are whisked away on a private jet to a family trip in the Bahamas for winter break. Ar first the spoiled girls are disappointed at not getting the Hawaii vacay they planned with their friends but cute boys and pirates distract them from their pity party and they decide they can definitely have their cake and eat it too.
That synopsis may sound insane, but I’m just easing you in. LOL.
