SPEAKER_00 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to
Let's Talk About It podcast.
I am your host, Apostle Rosemaryof RCN Ministries and OSGA
Apostolic Network, along with mywonderful, awesome husband,
Apostle Herbie.
Today we are on episode three ofour series for season five,
which is our season five serieson Unshaken.
(00:23):
Today we're coming to you withthe topic that is peace under
pressure.
So we're going to...
make sure we go ahead and we'regoing to dig right into this
topic on today.
And, you know, we need tounderstand and know how to hold
on to God's peace when life isintense, when we're dealing with
(00:45):
so many things that are going onglobally, when we're looking at
wrong that saying that they'reright, we're looking at right
and right knows wrong fromright.
And we're looking at where a lotof churches has become cliques
and they've become occult.
The presence of the Lord hasleft, they have become Ichabods
(01:05):
because the glory is no longerthere.
There are a lot of people thathave been fired, but they are
still working.
They're just like King Saul.
Remember when King Saul, becauseof his disobedience, his
arrogance, we can go on and on.
But when King Saul wasdisobedient and he was doing all
(01:28):
kinds of things that the Lordhad dealt with him on through
Prophet Samuel.
And King Saul felt this, though, that he was such a, he had such
a haughty, prideful spirit that, you know, he's going to do what
he wants to do because he's theking.
But, you know, he failed tounderstand that the Lord had
ripped the anointing.
(01:49):
He had ripped the kingdom.
He ripped the kingdom literallyfrom him.
And he continued to function, but he was no longer anointed.
The anointing was gone.
The grace of God to be the Thekingdom was removed from him.
And God also removed the prophetSamuel.
And Samuel was not just aprophet.
(02:10):
He was a high priest.
He was a judge.
Why did I say that?
Because he had to clean up themess that Saul allowed to live,
which was Agag, the seeds ofAgag.
So we're dealing with a lot ofthis on today.
Within this topic, we're goingto touch on some things because
we're seeing so much.
There's so much disorder, somuch chaos, so much war.
(02:31):
wickedness, people that areprofessing Christians, but
they're living contrary to whatthe word of God says.
Where is the love?
Where is the love for the fellowmen?
Where is the heart that has beenrent?
Rent my heart and not mygarment.
Take out all of the racism.
Take out all of the hatred.
(02:52):
Take out all of the division.
Take out all of the chaos andthe wickedness and all of the
things that are not like God.
We have to look at the fruit.
We must be fruit inspectors, menand women of God, because we
need to know what is God andwhat is not.
What is the Holy Spirit versuswhat is a familiar spirit.
(03:12):
You know, we have to be carefulbecause just because a church
says that they are spiritfilled, what spirit are you
filled with?
Is it the Holy Spirit?
Is it a familiar spirit?
Because there are many spirits, but there is only one spirit
that comes from God and that isthe Holy Spirit.
I'm going to try not to preachright here, you all.
So we need to understand how togo hold on to God's peace in
(03:36):
this time.
I don't want anyone preaching atme.
I don't want anyone talking tome and I see your fruits and And
I see the evidence because theword of God says that out of the
abundance of the heart, themouth speaks.
I'm not receiving from thosethat have polluted and
contaminated hearts becauseanything flowing from a heart
that is not of God, it ispolluted.
(03:58):
It is contaminated.
And it is wickedness that iscoming from them.
All right.
So we need to understand that.
We have gone through episodeone, which was Planted Not
Panicked in the Unshaken series.
And then the second one we havehad, the second episode was
(04:18):
Faith Over Feelings of theUnshaken series.
And again, today we're coming toyou with...
Peace under pressure.
And so we need to understandthat we're just going to go
right ahead and move forwardhere today.
So we need to understand peopleof God that living with peace,
even when you're under pressure.
(04:39):
It only comes from God.
There is no peace without God.
We need to understand that.
We're going to give you someverses in just a moment here.
God never promised that it wouldbe easy.
So it's not going to be alifestyle that it's so easy that
we're just going to sail rightthrough.
As a matter of fact, the mostprosecuted people are the people
(05:01):
that are a remnant that are ofthe lineage in the DNA of the
Abba Father, my God.
Listen, the word of God says inorder to reign with him, we must
suffer with him.
So let me tell you something.
If you are of a people that havesuffered all your lives
throughout the lineage,throughout your ancestry,
throughout your lifetime, andyou're still going through some
(05:23):
things, guess what?
Be glad because you're in theright company.
You're suffering with Christbecause you're going to reign
with him.
See, that's the thing about it.
Being a true Christian doesn'tmean it's going to be
comfortable.
It means that God is going togive us the grace to endure.
And one thing about God, I'mlooking at everyone and
(05:43):
everything that's going onglobally, everything that's
going on in America, becausewe're no longer the beacon of
Christianity.
We're no longer what peoplereally look at as a democracy.
And I'm not being political, I'mbeing real.
Real raw and unapologetic.
So what we look at, and me andmy husband have been global for
(06:04):
over 13 years.
And the sad thing about it ispeople look and they no longer
look to America as a country ofwhat it is to be a true
Christian.
But they know those that arepart of the remnant in other
countries and they honor us aswe honor all of them.
(06:24):
They look up to us as we look upto all of them and the grace and
the anointing of God upon theirlives.
Why?
Because they know we live whatwe preach.
My God, I'm going to stop rightthere.
So one of the things we need toknow is we need to learn how
when it comes to recognizing thepressure.
So we need to recognize thepressure.
(06:46):
We need to think about therealities of the pressure.
What type of deadlines do Ihave?
What am I under pressure for?
Do I have deadlines?
Do I have stress that's beencaused in my family?
Am I dealing with burnoutbecause I haven't learned how to
delegate?
Let me pause right there.
My husband and I, we cover somany, so many, oh my God, so
(07:12):
many leaders globally, Biblecolleges, Bible schools,
churches, you name it, God hasblessed us.
And I'm not saying that toboast.
I'm not saying that to bearrogant.
I'm saying that because Godknows he can trust us.
And the thing about it is theone thing we have had to learn
is that Ministry is never aone-man show.
(07:36):
Let me put this out here realquick.
Apostle Herbie is going to jumpin in just a moment here.
Ministry is not a one-man show.
Ministry is all of us working inunity as a unified body of
Christ.
There is no church based offrace, culture, ethnicity, none
of these things.
There's only one church andthat's God's church.
(07:59):
We need to stop the wickedness.
We need to stop the madness.
We need to stop the biases, thedivision, the discord, and then
still want to call it of God.
I don't listen to people whohave no fruit.
I don't follow people who haveno fruit.
I don't go for all of thesetelevangelists because many have
gone astray.
And so I have to see theevidence of the fruit.
(08:22):
We are fruit inspectors.
That's who the remnant is.
You have to learn to separateyourselves from what is not of
God.
Why?
Because people...
that look up to you and theyknow that you live what you
preach, guess what happens?
They begin to recognize and say,oh, well, if Apostle Herbie and
Apostle Rosemary, if theyfellowship and if they go places
(08:46):
and they do things and whateverit may be, then guess what?
Then that lets me know that theymust be okay.
They must be all right.
No, what we're not going to dois we're not going to help those
that are witches and warlockspretending to be pastors and
leaders deceive the people inthe body of Christ, we're not
going to do it.
The word of God says in 2Timothy 3 and 5 that having a
(09:09):
form of godliness, but denyingthe power thereof.
See, we want to pause and stopright there in the church and in
the body of Christ.
We don't want to finish thewhole thing.
But the last part of that saysfrom these kind, we are to do
what?
Turn away.
In other words, have nothing todo with.
No, I'm not going to condoneJezebel.
No, I'm not going to sit at thetable with Judas.
I'm not going to break bread.
(09:29):
I'm not going to fellowship withwickedness and evil.
I'm not going to do it.
Because people are watching ourwalk.
People are watching.
You know what?
We can talk.
We can preach.
We can teach.
We can do whatever we want todo.
But when it comes down to it isa heart matter and we had better
get it right or we need to sitdown because God is not playing
(09:50):
in this hour.
And I want to encourage many ofyou right here.
Let me pump my brakes.
Please take your eyes off ofman.
Take your eyes off of idolatryand idol worship.
There is only one person that weneed to be looking to, and that
is God.
We need to take our minds off ofall of this crazy stuff that is
(10:12):
manifesting globally.
And we need to put our mind backon God.
People of God, hear me when Isay this.
It is all a setup.
It's not what it looks like.
The enemy will not win.
God is already moving behind thescene.
All of this stuff we seemanifesting when man thinks
they're going to have their wayand man thinks they're going to
do what they're going to do.
Guess what?
(10:32):
I got another thing coming.
That's what God is saying.
Because God is going to have thefinal say.
And guess what?
It doesn't matter if everythingaround us is burning.
Guess what, baby?
God has the remnant covered.
So it doesn't matter.
It doesn't matter.
The word of God says the firstshall be last and the last shall
be first.
We don't have to worry about athing.
Sit back.
Stay quiet.
(10:52):
Rest yourselves, enjoyyourselves, continue to educate
yourself.
It's important to know history,to know everybody's history, to
know the full history, not thethings we've been taught in our
schools because that's nothistory.
I thank God for my culture andI'm not being funny.
I thank God for my culture, theblack culture, because this is
(11:13):
something we do all the time.
We pass down culture.
We pass down through ourculture.
I mean, we pass down the truthworld history of the United
States, of the whole world.
We're well-versed.
We're very educated in thosethings.
And so the thing about it is,people, it doesn't matter what
has been removed, what may beremoved, what's going to be
(11:34):
removed.
Take your eyes off of all that.
Baby, guess what?
There's an internet.
And if people are curious andthey really want to know, then
they'll educate themselves.
Don't worry about it.
Do what you do.
For the kingdom of God, God hasthe final say.
Remember Pharaoh in Egypt.
It was 400 years for thechildren of the Israelite Hebrew
children, but did not Godanswer.
(11:55):
Pharaoh wanted to hold on andwhat did God do?
The Lord said, 10 plagues.
Guess what?
Those were just warning shots.
And this is what God is doingright now.
God is giving man an opportunityto repent here in America and
all around the world.
And all we need to do is stayfocused and continue to carry
the cross, continue to walk inhumility, to continue to love
(12:17):
all people.
The word of God says, let mehelp somebody right here and I'm
moving on.
The word of God tells us that weowe no man nothing but to love
them.
For when we have done this, wehave fulfilled the law.
So guess what, people?
You owe love.
You don't owe people access.
I've been posting this on mypage.
I've had a lot of my socialmedia says access denied.
(12:40):
I've got to get back active, guys.
Keep me in your prayers.
I'm a little hoarse still.
Had an upper respiratory, me andmy husband, and we're coming
back.
I had lost my throat, had alittle bit of laryngitis.
So I think it's just, I hope andpray it's just as clear for you
all to be able to hear andunderstand what I'm saying.
So We need to think about thedelegating part in these
(13:01):
churches and ministries.
And that's something me and myhusband, we have to do because
Lord knows God has given us aglobal mandate and we thank God
for trusting us with it.
But we have had to learn how todelegate and we're going to be
careful who we delegate tobecause it's got to be ordained
by God.
(13:21):
We're not playing games withpeople.
We don't have time.
We're going to be real about thethings of God.
We have to understand.
So leaders stop trying to doeverything, get people around
you that are covenant, notconnected.
And then you will be able todelegate to those that you're
able to trust.
Not those who are trying to cutyour throat behind the scenes,
(13:43):
not those that are supposed tobe in ministry with you and that
you're covering as a spiritualleader.
And they're telling other peoplein the church things and lies
and trying to cut the pastoroff.
My God, that'll preach rightthere.
It's happened to all of us.
Now, listen, spiritual warfareis another thing we need to
recognize that pressure we'retalking about.
(14:05):
The very real life examples wedeal with as mom, as father, are
real life examples.
Then you have ministry, which iswork.
You have a career tension.
You have an inner emotionalstress.
I want to say, even with me,medical background over 30,
what, 35 years or so.
(14:29):
Retired from that full-time 2014from a director spot in nursing
as well.
And I went on to full-timeministry.
Been doing it since then.
Over two years ago, went out anddoor of favor opened up in the
financial mountain sphere.
And so I'm a financialprofessional as well.
(14:50):
And that's another thing, finances, investments, all of
this.
This is another that mentionedanother arm for our ministry to
be able to equip the body ofChrist.
And so I understand this well, being a woman, being a wife,
being a mother, full-timeministry, also working as a
financial professional, all overAmerica.
(15:12):
The inner emotional stress, thecareer tensions, the different
things, dealing with businesses, dealing with individuals, you
name it, I do it.
And so it's a beautiful thing, but we have to learn how to
always have time for yourself, set time for yourself, set
healthy boundaries, always beable to to know your limits,
(15:38):
know how much you can deal within a daytime management.
Again, it's key people.
People of God is key even forministry.
We need to understand as peopleof God that we are flesh and
blood, that pressure is real, but peace is still available.
I'm turning this over to ApostleHerbie.
SPEAKER_01 (16:00):
In John chapter 14,
verse 27, it says, My peace I
give to you, not as the worldgives.
Philippians 4, verse 6 and 7,these are prayers, thanksgiving,
and God's peace, God in ourheart.
(16:27):
See, we must guard our heart.
We cannot allow folks to comecan trample on the heart and
take advantage on the heart.
So we must protect our heart.
The worldly peace, that's aneternal calm.
(16:51):
God, he is peace, eternalstrength.
Peace is not the absence ofproblems.
it is it is the presence of godwhen you come on if i look at
john 14 and verse 27 it sayspeace and leave with you my
(17:19):
perfect peace i gave you not asthe world gives do i do i give
do i give to you do not let yourheart be troubled No, let it be
afraid.
Let my perfect peace calm you inevery circumstances and give you
(17:43):
courage and strength for everychallenge.
In Philippians chapter 4 andverse 6 and 7, do not be anxious
worried about everything but ineverything every circumstances
(18:07):
and situation by prayer andpetition with transgiving
continue to make your specificrequest known to god and the
peace of god that that peacewhich which reshores reshores
the heart that peace withtranscend all understanding that
(18:33):
peace withstands God over yourheart and your mind in Christ
Jesus is yours.
My Lord.
SPEAKER_00 (18:42):
Powerful.
That is powerful, Apostle.
Okay.
You hear?
I don't know.
Okay.
So how to live with peace whenyou're under pressure?
Peace under pressure.
Practice these three things.
Pause and breathe.
Before reacting, retreat, go toGod.
(19:03):
Pray it through.
Turn pressure into prayerprompt.
The third thing is protect yourinputs.
Guard what you consume.
The news, the drama, theconversations.
Let me stop right here.
People of God, listen.
Turn the TVs off.
(19:24):
Get off the news stations.
because we're not getting whatwe should be getting.
We're not getting truthful fromanywhere.
So guess what?
As Christians, we need to stayoff of news channels, pick up
the word of God, and pick upsome books to educate ourselves
outside of the word of God.
People that do not ingesteducation, and I'm not, you
(19:50):
know, They're very easilymanipulated and misled.
That's one reason.
And another thing, that's anatural thing.
I'm helping somebody right here.
When we look at the word of God,what it says, study to show
thyselves approve unto God, aworkman that will not be
ashamed, rightfully dividing theword of truth.
The Lord is telling us thispeople of God, because many
(20:13):
people, they go to church and Ihave an iPad.
I have many books in here tostudy from all different
dialects and all kinds of thingsin here and concordances and
three in ones, all of this,we've got an apostle and I, and,
um, but then we have to, and I,I use my iPad all the time.
We, you know, and a lot oftimes, um, People, you see them,
(20:33):
we have the Bibles on the phone.
So there's many different waysthat people use different tools,
electronics and the regularBibles and different things like
that to minister or to read theword.
But it's so important, people ofGod, that we read the word of
God.
We get an understanding forourselves.
Stop allowing people to tell yousomething and you don't follow
(20:56):
along.
You don't study out the word ofGod for yourself.
You need some alone time foryourself.
And let me help somebody.
The reason we have so muchfoolishness, I'm just going to
say it, foolishness going on andprofessing Christians in the
body of Christ is this.
It's because we've come to aplace, people of God, where
(21:20):
everyone that's preaching orteaching the word of God was
not, they went, but they werenot sent by God.
They were not called, nor werethey chosen.
A lot of them, some were called, but they went astray.
According to when you look in,it's Matthew chapter 24 and
verse 24.
Let me pull that up.
Because what we're seeing is alot of people have been deceived
(21:42):
people of God.
A lot of people have goneastray.
And what I did, I startedcleaning up my friends list and
the ones that I've cut loose andI've had to sever, they're going
to stay severed from falseChrist and false prophets will
appear and they will providegreat signs and wonders.
So as to deceive, if possible, even the very elect who are the
very elect God's chosen people,God's chosen people.
(22:06):
I saw this over a decade ago andI'm telling you something.
I'm going to keep plowing.
I'm going to keep pioneering.
I'm going to keep obeying God.
When I say I, Me and my husbandare one.
That means Apostle Herbie and Iin unity, in oneness.
We're going to continue to moveon in the things of God, but
we've walked away from and we'vesevered relationships because
(22:28):
God told us to.
They were ordained by God that, you know what, that Abrahamic
anointing hit and God began toshow us the lots.
And he said, cut them loose.
We cut them loose and we'regoing to leave them cut unless
God says differently.
It's got to be God.
That's the only way.
So we need to learn how toEncourage.
SPEAKER_01 (22:46):
You are not weak for
feeling pressure, but you are
strong for chosen peace.
Powerful.
Invite them to write down onepressure.
SPEAKER_00 (22:57):
So then we can begin
to just ask yourself, write down
one pressure that you're dealingwith and turn it into a
declaration of peace this week.
Then you can begin to That's myfault because I went ahead of an
apostle right there.
(23:18):
Then when you begin to writedown something that you've had a
lot of pressure that you've beendealing with, it may be that you
don't seem to have enough timeto read or it may be that You
don't, you just don't, everytime you pick up your word to
read, you just can't seem tojust sit and read and meditate
(23:39):
on the word of God.
So that is a pressure.
That's a pressure point.
So write that down.
When you write that down, thisis your homework.
Whatever it is that you'refeeling pressure about.
But then the thing that you haveto understand is this, but you
are strong enough for choosingthe peace as apostle says.
So you have to choose peace overall of these other things that
(24:01):
we see going on.
Now, our next episode next monthwill be family first, but God
always.
We have to understand family isfirst, but God is always.
So we need to understand wheneverything has passed away, the
word of God says only the wordof God will stand.
SPEAKER_01 (24:22):
Amen.
SPEAKER_00 (24:24):
So peace under
pressure.
You can be under pressure andstill live a life of peace.
The scriptures for this were.
SPEAKER_01 (24:33):
In John chapter 14
and verse 27.
Philippians chapter 4 verse 6and 7.
Pressure is inevitable.
Panic is opinional.
(24:53):
My God, that's a
SPEAKER_00 (24:55):
good quote, y'all.
Y'all need to catch that quote.
And then remember your threepeace practices.
SPEAKER_01 (25:06):
Now
SPEAKER_00 (25:12):
listen, as we
reflect upon what we've talked
about this morning, think aboutthese things, these two points.
Where in your life are youfeeling the most pressure right
now?
Think about it, evaluate it,look into it, write down those
pressure points, people of God.
(25:33):
Think about these things andsay, what is it that I'm dealing
with that I feel the mostpressure from right now?
What would change?
Just think about and ponder onthis.
What would change if you broughtthat pressure to God before
trying to handle it yourself?
That's good right there, y'all.
That's very good right there.
(25:54):
So let's think about some Q&Asright now.
We're going to do four questionsand the answers, okay?
This is a Q&A segment part ofthe podcast.
So question one, can you reallyhave peace when everything
around you is chaotic?
My God.
I want to be able to stand hereright now and be happy to tell
(26:16):
you all, yes, you can.
Yes, God's peace doesn't dependon your situation.
It depends on your connection tohim.
Peace isn't found in the calm.
It's found in Christ, my God.
He is always there in the midstof chaotic times and in the
midst of chaos.
(26:36):
So guess what?
We are the remnant and God iswith us.
SPEAKER_01 (26:42):
What does guard your
heart look like in practical
terms?
Watch what you are taking in.
Your news, conversation, evenyour own inner dialogue.
(27:05):
Protecting your peace oftenmeans saying no to chaos.
SPEAKER_00 (27:10):
Listen to this.
I was just saying, turn the TVoff.
Turn the TV off.
You know why?
Because we have to be careful aspeople of God.
What are we feeding ourselves?
I haven't watched the news inover 10 years.
What are we feeding ourselves?
All of this chaotic stuff.
What are we feeding ourselves?
All of this hate, this division, this discord, this lawlessness,
(27:33):
all this crazy stuff.
What are we feeding ourselves?
And we're saying we'reChristians.
What are we feeding ourselves?
And leaders, what are youfeeding As shepherds to the
sheep.
Okay, the third question.
I feel pressure every day.
How do I reset quickly?
(27:53):
Answer to that is this.
Try the peace pause.
Number one, exhale, excuse me.
Number one, inhale deeply,exhale slowly.
So you inhale deeply, exhaleslowly, exhale slowly.
You could do that to like acount of 10.
(28:14):
All right.
The second thing, whisper asimple prayer.
God, center me.
Lord, I need you to center me.
I'm dealing with some pressuresright now.
There's a lot of chaos going onin my life.
I'm under lots of lots ofpressure.
And God, I need you to centerme.
(28:35):
The third thing, meditate ontruth.
like the word that apostle wasreading here on Philippians
chapter four and verse seven.
It only takes 60 seconds torecenter yourselves.
Did you know that?
The fourth thing,
SPEAKER_01 (28:53):
what if peace feel
impossible right now?
The answer is that the moment topress into God, not pull away.
Tell him honestly, Peace is nota performance, it's a gift.
Ask for it and trust that hewill meet you right where you
SPEAKER_00 (29:16):
are.
People of God, hear us when wesay this.
Take everything to the Lord inprayer.
Peace under pressure is what theremnant is seeing that's
happening all around the world.
But the people of God and thosethat are in search of the
authentic peace Word, unadulterated word, pure word of
(29:38):
God flowing from the pure heartsof men and women of God.
Guess what?
They're looking forauthenticity.
They're looking for somethingoutside of the status quo.
The sinner man and a lot ofpeople are old.
So many people are not coming tochurch anymore.
You know why?
Because they're sick and tiredof going to church broken.
(30:00):
And leaving still broken.
They're sick and tired of goingto church.
And they go in burdened down.
They go in depressed.
They go in oppressed.
I've had someone that was veryclose to me that I met in the
field that I worked in prior toministry.
And they were under so muchpressure until they ended
(30:24):
everything.
But they had been to church andeverything.
This has happened.
What is wrong that the church isthe hospital and people are
coming to the church becausethey need healing?
The word of God tells us thatthe sick are the ones that need
(30:44):
the physician.
It's not to those that are notsick.
The Lord is the great physicianto those that are sick.
And so we have messed up in thechurch and we have gone to a
place where in ourselves wherewe've stepped outside of where
God has called us to be as thebody of Christ.
(31:05):
We've gotten to a place where wedon't care what we say, how we
act, how we treat people, how wedivide people, how we lie to
people, how we have biases.
And we're preaching and teachingpolitics and all of this madness
in the houses of God.
Listen, people of God, hear mewhen I say, repent now.
(31:28):
Repent and get it together andget it right because we are in a
time that many around us needthe people of God to be in one
mind on one accord like the bookof Acts 2.
The people in the world arelooking to the church for the
answers and we must rise in thishour and come forth with the
(31:52):
power, the authority and thedominion that God has given us.
We must speak truth.
We must call right, right andwrong, wrong.
Don't play with the devil.
Let's do what's called right bythe word of God.
Mark chapter two and verse 17.
It states, it is not thehealthy, that need a physician,
(32:14):
but the sick.
And the Lord said, Jesus said, Ihave not come to call the
righteous, but the sinner torepentance.
Listen, people of God, it's timeto get it together.
It's time to get it right.
And it's time to live rightaccording to the word of God.
(32:39):
This is not the time to play.
So we pray that this has blessedyou all today.
