SPEAKER_02 (00:00):
Hello and welcome to
Let's Talk About It podcast.
I am your host, ApostleRosemary, with my wonderful
husband, Apostle Herbie of RCNMinistries.
We would like to thank you andwelcome you to season five of
our podcast.
This season, we're going to dealwith living strategically in God
(00:22):
in a divided world.
And our theme scripture comesfrom Ephesians chapter five,
verses 15 through 16.
And it tells us to be carefulthen how you live, not as
unwise, but as wise, making themost of every opportunity
because the days are evil.
(00:44):
So this instructs us to be wise,to use wisdom, to be mindful
that we are truly living what wepreach.
So on today, we're starting outwith our first episode of season
five, and it talks to us aboutthe topic of the subject is
(01:04):
unshaken.
That's a powerful, powerfulphrase.
The phrase on today and thetheme for today is unshaken, how
to stand strong in a shakyworld.
So welcome to season five of ourpodcast.
This season is all aboutstanding strong when the world
around us is anything butsteady.
(01:26):
We're calling it unshakenbecause God is calling his
people to rise, to root deeperand to live with bold faith.
steady families, and sharpfocus.
Whether you're leading a home, rebuilding your faith, or trying
to hold on to your purpose inuncertain times, this season,
(01:47):
men and women of God, is foryou.
Get ready for honestconversation, biblical truths,
and practical steps to help youlive unshaken.
So let's grow deeper together inthe things of God.
So we are planted, not panicked.
(02:08):
When we're talking about this inthis first episode of season
five, we're talking about how toremain planted in our faith
instead of living in a constantstate of panic.
Remember, planted, we areplanted in God.
We are grounded.
We are rooted in God.
We are not panicked because theLord has not given us the spirit
(02:30):
of fear.
So when chaos hits, it's easy toreact emotionally, but God calls
us to stand firm, rooted like atree by the water.
So this conversation thatApostle Herbie and I are going
to have today on Let's TalkAbout It podcast will help you
(02:50):
to shift from your survival modeinto your spiritual stability
mode.
This is going to help each andevery one of you realize that
God has placed everything in youthat you need to overcome in
this season and the seasons thatlie ahead of us.
(03:11):
The Lord has us grounded androoted and planted like the tree
planted.
besides the living water.
God has us grounded, rooted, andplanted like the palm tree.
If a category five hits, thepalm tree may bend, but it will
not break.
So people of God, be encouragedand know we are unshaken because
(03:32):
why?
We are the remnant.
And one thing about us, we arevictorious.
We are not victims.
We are overcomers.
We are not beaten.
We're not downtrodden.
But God has raised us up forsuch a time like this.
So our key scripture on todaywill come from Psalms 1 and 3,
is the first one, that they arelike trees planted along the
(03:56):
riverbank, bearing fruit eachseason.
In Jeremiah 17, verses 7 through8, it tells us, that they will
be like a tree plant planted bythe water that does not wither
when the heat comes so in otherwords when a storm comes when
the storm of life comes wheneveryone and everything around
(04:19):
you is shaken you will besteadfast you will be unmovable
but you will always be aboundingin the works of the lord So what
is it that you'll learn fromthis?
What is it that Apostle Herbieand I want to deposit into you
spiritually today to help you beable to rise up like the three
(04:40):
Hebrew boys?
They were in the fire by KingNebuchadnezzar because they
would not bow.
They would not bow to thepolitical sphere.
They would not bow to theoccult.
They would not bow to thingsthat are going on all around the
world and people are calling itChristianity or they're calling
it God.
But we are here today as theremnant to tell each and every
(05:01):
last one of you, stand still andwatch God.
So what we want you to learntoday is this, why panic is
often a sign of misplaced trust.
In the world, but not in thepeople of God.
Because guess what?
We are living in Hebrews 11 and1.
Now faith is the substance ofthings hoped for and evidence of
(05:25):
things unseen or not seen.
So what does that mean?
That means even though I can'tsee it yet, I know it's already
happened.
I have to learn to trust Godwhen I can't trace God.
And that is where we are, peopleof God.
We may not be able to put ourhands on exactly everything
that's manifesting in the realmof the spirit, because believe
(05:47):
me when we tell you this, thatwhen you see the world that's in
such discord, disarray, lawlessness, chaos, believe me,
the natural does not supersedewhat God is doing in the realm
of the spirit.
Therefore, God is movingmightily in this hour.
God is moving mightily for hispeople, the realm God is moving
(06:09):
mightily for those likeShadrach, Meshach, and Abednego
that did not bow, that did notbow to idols, that did not turn
over their beliefs and theirfaith in who God was.
It is.
It is to come.
But they stood firm and theystood firm.
Flatfoot.
They stood.
In other words, the new sayingis they stood 10 toes down with
(06:30):
their honey.
They spoke with their full chestand they stood on business.
So it's time for the remnant tostand on business.
And you know what?
Just realize today you have tochoose you and I.
Whom shall we serve?
Whom shall we serve?
We cannot serve two gods.
We cannot have two gods.
(06:52):
The word of God tells us in theTen Commandments that thou shall
have no other God besides me.
Guess what?
We've got to choose ye today.
Whom shall we serve?
If we're going to serve theworld and we're going to serve
idols, we need to go ahead andsit down.
Don't straddle the fence.
The word of God says either hotor cold.
Because if you're lukewarm, I'mgoing to spew you out.
(07:16):
So how do we stay rooted in aworld when the world feels
unstable?
And what are the habits to helpyou grow deeper instead of
wider?
We think about the practicalapplications and takeaways that
we must create a spirit rootcheck.
We must realize, okay, am Irooted?
(07:39):
Do I have enough word in me tosustain in today's society and
everything that I'm goingthrough?
Because I am unshaken.
God has given me the ability tobe unshaken, no matter what is
breaking loose, no matter thehell that's going on all around
us, in the natural politicalsphere, and in those that are
(08:00):
professing that they'reChristian in those spheres,
whatever it may be.
Am I unshaken?
And God wants us to be unshakenand standing on his word.
It's not so much.
I was just telling a man andwoman of God, my husband and I,
we were fellowshipping withthem, had an awesome time.
(08:20):
And we were telling thesebeautiful people of God that,
you know, we've got to get tothe place that we understand.
We've got to get to the placewhere we know who God is, that
we're unshaken, we're unmovable.
We're going after God with allthat we know.
We were talking about so manydifferent things that it was
just a kingdom conversation andit was kingdom fellowship.
(08:43):
And, you know, we were all inone place with the same mind on
one accord.
And we were talking aboutkingdom works.
This is what God is calling fora unified church.
God is calling for us becausethe word of God says we're many
members, but we're one body.
So it's going to take unity.
It's going to take love.
It's going to take us workingtogether to accomplish the wills
(09:07):
of the kingdom.
But we have to understandsomething or the will of the
kingdom.
We have to understand something, people of God.
It's not enough as we weresaying earlier with them.
That it's not enough to read theword, to meditate, to study the
word, to teach the word, topreach the word.
The application is the key.
We need to and we must apply itto our everyday lives.
(09:30):
My Lord.
So the practical takeaway andapplication here.
Create the spiritual root check, men and women of God.
Take out a list and make a listfor the week.
The week.
What is it?
that I want from God?
What is it that I'm asking Godfor?
What do I need God to do for me?
How do I need God to purify myheart?
(09:52):
What is it that I want to stayfocused on?
And I don't want to getdistracted in this world because
I am unshaken.
My God, this series is going tobe off the chain for season
five.
So we need to learn to form andbuild a habit of turning to
prayer before panic.
My God, there's a saying, Ifyou're going to pray and panic,
(10:19):
pray and worry, then you may aswell not pray.
Yeah, worry and panic.
So if we're going to pray, wecannot panic.
We've got to trust God even whenwe can't trace God.
We have to learn in theapplication and the practical
takeaways from today's podcast.
(10:39):
We have to and we must sethealthy boundaries.
That protect our peace, thatprotect our presence, protects
our hearts, our minds, ourspirits, because we have to have
pure hearts, people of God.
We have to be able to understandthat even though I love them, I
have to leave them.
(10:59):
Think about Abraham and Lot andothers in the Bible where God
severed relationships, where Godtook people and he separated
them for purpose.
So we need to understand andidentify in this season.
This is not the time to wonderand be tossed to and fro, but
this is the time to have ourminds and our hearts.
We have to have our gaze fixedon Jesus.
(11:21):
We cannot veer to the left norto the right, but we have to
stay on the road calledstraight.
This is not the hour to playwith the people of God.
We must be serious And this isthe hour and the season that we
must be mature Christians inthis hour.
My husband and I, we know thatGod has called us to senior
leaders, leaders, and emergingleaders.
(11:41):
We love all people.
God has called us to all people.
But we know that our mandate isto equip the nations.
My God.
And you know what?
We have made up our mind manyyears ago.
No matter what, we are not goingto get distracted by an outcry
in the crowd that God did notcall us to.
We have to stay focused on thethings of God.
(12:03):
I'm going to turn this over toApostle Herbie in just a minute.
Remember that we are planted, not panicked.
That's not who we are.
We are focused on on the thingsof God.
We are going forth on the thingsof God.
We are realizing that we areunshaken in how we are going to
stand strong in a shaky world.
(12:28):
Excuse me, y'all.
Allergies.
So in the call to action here, before I turn this part over to
Apostle Herbie, we need to beable to share this episode and
tell them that we're ApostleHerbie and Apostle Rosemary of
RCN Ministries and their podcastis Let's Talk About It.
(12:51):
We're not finished yet.

It's just time for me to justsit down.
I don't even want anything to dowith church.
I'm just so tired.
I'm tired of going through themotions.
I'm tired of the rigmarole.
I'm tired of the status quo.
I just want the presence of Godand I want the miracle signs and
wonders.

grounded when life feels shaky?
Because I'm looking forward tohearing what all God is saying
through his vessels, hisservants.
Apostle Herbie and ApostleRosemary of Let's Talk About It
podcast from their ministry, RCNMinistries.
(14:16):
Because this is season five ofour episodes that are going to
be dealing with all this wholeseason five.
We're going to concentrate onunshaken because our podcast is
built on faith, family andfocus.
And today's first episode is weare planted, not panicked.
(14:37):
We need to understand thatthat's why we remain unshaken.
When the storm comes, we knowhow to stand strong in a shaky
world that is so divided.
Michael, that's good.
Wasn't that good?
Okay.
So when we're living rooted infaith, when the world feels
(14:57):
unstable, men and women of God,We are yet again planted, not
panicked, because we areunshaken.
We just want to say to you allthat in the state that the world
is in today, we have tounderstand that everything
that's happening has a lot ofpeople dealing with mental
(15:21):
health issues.
They're panicking.
They're reacting.
God is calling for the church torise up.
God is calling for the church toset the tone.
He's calling us to choose faithover fear, to go to the depths
over distraction, to the depthsof the things of God.
(15:42):
In the state of the world ontoday, we need to understand
that everything that's happeningculturally, politically, and
personally Um, so many peopleare, they've gotten so engulfed
in the news cycles and familypressure and personal setbacks.
But the thing is, sometimes weneed to turn the TV off.
We need to shut it down.
(16:04):
We need to get in the presenceof God.
We need to stop feedingourselves all of this confusion,
all of these, um, Theseill-equipped and all of these
lies and all of these thingsthat are manipulating and
twisting the minds of thepeople, rather they're saved or
unsaved.
We need to turn the TVs offbecause this is the hour for
(16:26):
truth.
that we cannot panic.
God is looking for the church toset the tone for the world.
God is looking for the church torise up in this hour, in this
season and speak truth, to speakit in love, but to speak it in
boldness like John the Baptistand crying.
When John the Baptist was there,he was crying out in the
wilderness, prepare ye the wayof the Lord for repentance.
(16:50):
And let me tell you all, theworld needs to repent and we
need to do it swiftly.
There is only one God, oneheaven and one hell.
We cannot be panicked.
Panic is a reaction, butplanting is a position.
Somebody need to catch that.
SPEAKER_01 (17:08):
That's
SPEAKER_02 (17:08):
good.
That's good.
So panic is just a reaction.
It's our feelings.
It's our flesh.
That's trying to get us to aplace of worry of place of
stress.
But then the word of God tellsus, but when you are planted in
me, You are stable because youare positioned You have a
(17:28):
posture.
You have a stance that tells theenemy, don't try me because I'm
not going down.
Do not come after me because youdon't want any of this.
Do not try me because I know whoI am.
I know my rank.
I know my authority in thekingdom.
And baby, you don't want any ofthis because I know who my
father is.
(17:49):
I know my dominion.
I know my authority.
And I know what he has equippedme with for the nations.
And I'm not going to back down.
because I'm after every soul.
This is me and Apostle Herbietalking.
We are after every soul that hasbeen lost, that has not heard
the gospel, that needs to knowwho Jesus Christ is.
People are dying in the church, outside of the church, and they
(18:12):
have not even heard the gospel, nor have they accepted the Lord
as Lord and Savior of theirlives.
We've messed up, people of God,and it's time to get planted.
To get serious about God.
It's not about a fashion show.
It's not about a revival that wejust put on because we want to
raise money.
(18:33):
It's not about trying tonetwork.
It's not about any of thesecrazy things.
You scratch my back, I'llscratch yours.
I sow$100 when I come to yourchurch.
You sow$100 when we come to yourchurch.
It's not about any of that.
It's about the souls that God isholding us accountable for.
Are we living what we preach?
(18:55):
So what does it mean to beplanted?
Apostle, I'll turn it over toyou.
SPEAKER_00 (19:02):
In Psalm chapter 1
and verse 3 and Jeremiah chapter
17, verse 7 and 8, they'retalking about breaking it down.
What it means by that, breakingdown the word of God.
(19:24):
You know what I'm saying?
If you're breaking down in a waythat we all can understand.
Being planted means consistencyin time with God.
Resilience can trial.
(19:47):
And confidence in God means notoutcome so
SPEAKER_02 (19:57):
when he's talking
about consistency thinking about
think about this let me jump onthere one minute apostle i'm
gonna
SPEAKER_01 (20:03):
turn it back to you
SPEAKER_02 (20:04):
when we are to being
planted in god like apostle said
it is consistency in time withgod it means i am constantly
giving God time.
I'm constantly planning my dayaround the Lord.
I'm constantly at his feet.
I'm constantly crying out tohim.
I'm constantly seeking his face.
(20:25):
According to Matthew 6 and 33,that says, seek ye first the
kingdom of God and all of hisrighteousness, and then these
things shall be added unto you.
So it means a perpetualconsistent flow of me always
continually going to God,seeking out God, spending time
with God in his presence, How tostay rooted?
(20:49):
Yeah, a tree.
SPEAKER_00 (21:12):
practical habits for
rooted living.
The Daily Word Times, notperformance-based, but
soul-based.
Number two is worship and rest.
Protect your peace.
(21:32):
And three is community check-in.
Stay connected to others.
Planted Listen,
SPEAKER_02 (21:41):
the word of God
tells us that a seed produces
after its own kind.
So we want to challenge each andevery one of you today.
What is it that you see in yourspiritual leader?
What is it that you see in othermen and women of God and those
that you know that are plantedand rooted and living what they
preach according to the word ofGod?
(22:02):
What is it that you see on themthat you desire for yourself?
What is it about them?
Are they truly walking andfollowing after the leading and
the guidance of the Lord?
What is it?
Just think about that whenyou're going through the three
habits that Apostle Herbie hastalked to you about here on
(22:22):
today.
SPEAKER_00 (22:29):
Invite listeners to
reflect on their panic triggers
versus a root system.
Encourage them to create aspiritual root checklist.
(22:49):
And T's episode, faith overfeeling.
SPEAKER_02 (22:58):
Yes.
So the last one that Apostle'ssaying here, tease them when
you've done this.
On the second episode that comesout next month, episode two is
faith over feelings.
So we want to challenge you.
We want to challenge each andevery one of you to do that.
Think about and reflect on, likehe said, the panic triggers
(23:18):
versus the root system.
Create a spiritual rootchecklist and then tease the
people.
that you share this podcastwith, that you encourage to just
take out the time and listen andtell the people, hey, guess
what?
Hey, Apostle Herbert and ApostleRosemary, they're doing a series
for season five.
And what they're doing forseason five, whole season five
(23:41):
is going to be on the theme isUnshaken, how to stand strong in
a shaky world and introduce themto this podcast.
It is global.
We are reaching so many peoplefor the kingdom and we thank God
because it has nothing to dowith us, but it has all to do
with him.
We are only servants and vesselsthat have just been yielded.
(24:03):
And out of obedience, we'veyielded ourselves to the hand of
the almighty to allow him to useus to bring glory to his name.
It's not about us.
It's all about him.
So when we talk about this, justto recap with you guys on this
series, planted, not panicked.
When we're planted, people ofGod, we don't have to panic
(24:25):
about what's going on around us.
When we are planted, we know Godis in control.
When we're planted, we're likethe Israelite children over in
Egypt.
That were in slavery and bondagefor 400 years.
But when God had had enough andhe'd seen the cry outcry and
he's heard all the prayers forthose 400 years, he showed up
and even Pharaoh had torecognize that God be God.
(24:47):
That I am is who I said had sentMoses and who I am was I am.
He is the God of all.
He is the creator of everything.
So when we think about this, wepray that from the theme on
today, that you take the mainthing that you take with you
from this podcast is learning tolive, that you learn to live
(25:10):
deeply rooted in God instead ofreacting to everything around
us.
Now we have some scriptureshere.
Of course, the scriptures fortoday was Psalms 1 verse 3.
Jeremiah 17, verse 7 through 8.
And the takeaway, panic isemotional, but planting is
(25:33):
intentional.
That's good right there.
Panic is emotional, but plantingis intentional.
And the three building habitsthat Apostle Herbie read to you
were, go ahead, honey.
SPEAKER_00 (25:47):
Stay in the wood
consistently.
Protect your peace with worshipand rest.
Stay connected to faithcommunities.
SPEAKER_02 (25:56):
This is not the time
to sit home.
This is not the time to say,I've been hurt.
I can't do it.
I've been wounded.
This is a time to connect topeople that are planted, that
are grounded, that are rooted inthe word of God.
That's able to see you who Godhas called you to be in the
kingdom.
That's able to co-labor withyou.
That's able to push you.
(26:17):
That's able to pour into you.
That's able to speak into yourlife and over your life.
This is where we are.
So some questions to reflectupon men and women of God.
Where have I been reacting inpanic instead of responding in
faith?
What rhythms in my life arehelping or hurting me in my
(26:38):
spiritual root system?
So we're going to close it withfour questions.
And the question number onewould be, why do believers panic
if they know God is in control?
Panic often comes from a place, misplaced trust when we've
(26:58):
subconsciously put ourconfidence and outcomes
routinely in people and routinesor outcomes and routines or
people.
Faith reminds us that even whenwe don't understand, we can
trust God's character.
The second question we want toleave with you is what does
(27:20):
planted really mean spiritually?
The answer to that, people ofGod, is to be planted is to be
positioned and nourished by God.
It's not only being perfect, butabout being connected to the
source, the true vine.
Just like a tree needs time, sun, and water, we need the
(27:44):
word, we need worship, and weneed prayer.
The third time, the thirdquestion.
SPEAKER_00 (27:50):
Can I be planted and
still feel fear sometimes?
Absolutely.
Being planted doesn't mean younever feel fear.
It means you don't live from it.
Fear may knock, but faith keepthe door shut.
(28:10):
My God.
How do you, how do I know...
fourth question sorry how do iknow if i am living rooted or or
reacting in panic ask yourselfif my first response pray or
(28:34):
panic that's a that's a hardcheck rooted living it starts
with seeking god before seekinganswers elsewhere
SPEAKER_02 (28:49):
so in other words
look within do a
self-examination ask yourselfthese questions and then reflect
back on this podcast todayreflect back on what apostle
herbie and i have brought to youtoday on let's talk about it
podcast that are that panic isemotional but planting is
(29:12):
intentional that's powerful mylord so today's episode was
titled planted not panicked ournext episode episode two in
series and um series fiveepisode two will be faith over
feelings my lord So rememberthat season five is going to be
(29:36):
full of encouragement as always, but we're going to be dealing
with our series on the theme.
The main theme for season fiveis going to flow every episode
with unshaken, how to standstrong in a world that's so
shaky, in a shaky world, in aworld that's so divided.
(29:59):
