Michelle D. Tucker is recognized as one of the Top Influential Women in Business in St. Louis. With over 25 years of experience, she has successfully driven positive change in both the corporate and nonprofit sectors. Michelle has made significant contributions in areas such as Corporate Social Responsibility, grant-making, fundraising, cross-sector partnering, and community collaboration.
In just seven years, Michelle has already led two of the region's largest nonprofits. Currently serving as the President and CEO of United Way of Greater St. Louis, the organization is one of the highest-ranking United Ways in the nation recently recognized as a Best Place to Work in St. Louis. United Way of Greater St. Louis contributes nearly $80 million in community resources across 16 counties each year to impact the lives of over one million people and has contributed nearly $3 billion to the community over the century.
Michelle is a former senior vice president at a Fortune 500 Company, spending twenty years focused on operational efficiencies, workforce development, philanthropic giving, and community engagement. Her passion for fostering collaboration between for-profit, nonprofit, and government entities led her to transition into the nonprofit sector.
Due to her unique expertise and perspective, Michelle is frequently sought after to participate in speaking engagements and on panels. Her leadership has been featured in prominent publications such as Oprah Magazine, Entrepreneur Magazine, and the St. Louis American. She has received numerous awards and accolades, including the St. Louis Business Journal's Diverse Business Leader Award, YWCA Leader of

With her extensive experience and visionary guidance, Michelle continues to drive positive change and develop sustainable solutions for the community. In addition to her role at United Way, Michelle serves as a Governance Board Member at Greater St. Louis, Inc. (GSL) and is a mentor to many while also participating in numerous advisory capacities.
