So excited to welcome you and Ithought I would continue in the
vein we started with two weeksago, answering some more
frequently asked questions aboutpet reincarnation, the joyful
reunion of welcoming your soul,pet in spirit, back into a new,

so you can share a whole new setof adventures together.
It's happened to me four timesin this lifetime with a single
animal, and that would be mysleepy little parrot here, my
baby parrot almost two years,huh, Miss Petal, my baby parrot
of almost two years, huh, MissPetal.
And it's happened to me with,in a most unexpected way, with
(00:56):
my beloved rescued box turtle,Bruce, who came back to me
through my three-year-old boxturtle, ayo.
And so in this episode I wantto build on what we started two
weeks ago, talking about some ofthe particulars, about what to
expect.
What is pet reincarnationreally like, how can it happen,
and how will your pet in spiritlet you know that they are
(01:17):
planning, or that they want to,or that they're willing to come
back, to reincarnate back to youin a new body?
And so, if you're new, you'renew to this whole subject,
you're new to let's talk toanimals.
You're new to me.
You're new to animalcommunication.
I highly encourage you to goback and listen first to the

say pet reincarnation.
What does that look like andwhy would an animal want to do
that?
We cover all of those questionsin that episode.
In this episode, what I want totalk to you about is some of
the ways that your pet can letyou know.

How will an animal let theirhuman know?
Yes, I want to come back.
I shared in the last episodethat this is not a linear
process.
It's not particularly a logicalor an analytical process.
It's not like getting Sirigoing on your smartphone or
(02:24):
pulling up MapQuest or getting aset of old school printed
directions saying at the fork,go right, and then you see the
tree and you take a left, andthen there's a gas station and
you go straight, et cetera, etcetera.
It's not necessarily like that.
However, it can feel like thatfor somebody who is awake to
their intuition, who isawakening their intuitive self,

and that is a huge part of theprocess and the animal's
motivation for saying yes, andso you can listen back to that
first episode and get a sense ofsome of the reasons and the
motivations, what it might looklike to say yes to a joyful
(03:10):
reunion, to start that process,what it might feel like as
you're going through it and theend result of waking up your own
intuition and some of thebenefits, not just with you and
your animal coming back together, but the benefits, the ripple
effect in your whole life whenyou say yes to waking up as an

intuitive, embodied soul andlearning to use what I call your
IOS, your intuitive operatingsystem, which is something that

So for this episode, let'sstart to break it down a little
bit.
What are some of the ways thatyour animal might let you know
that they are willing or wantingor ready or intending on

returning to you in a new body?
And to do thisI'm going to share some stories,
and the first one happened longbefore I had even an inkling,
before animal communication waseven a gleam in my eye.
I had no idea that I wasintuitive.
I had no idea that I wassensitive to animal energy.
(04:40):
I had zero concept of myself asan animal communicator.
I was hiring animalcommunicators, but I was not an
animal communicator and did notthink that I had that ability.
And what happened was my momlost her soul dog JP Morgan.
(05:00):
Jp Morgan passed into spiritand my mom and my dad went into
a funk.
It's hard.
Suddenly we wake up andeverything is different and we
are different.
It's very jarring, especiallyif we're not really tuned in to
what's going on and why it feelsso jarring.
(05:21):

It's one part physical, onepart chemical, one part
emotional, one part mental, onepart relational, one part soul
level.

Going back to our story, whathappened was JP Morgan
transitioned and it was anassisted transition, so it was
an in-vet clinic euthanasia, andI witnessed my parents,
especially my dad, really dipdown into a depression,
(07:10):
especially my dad.
He was really struggling and Ireally wanted to help.
Of course, I've always been avivid dreamer.
I didn't really know what to doper se, but I've always had
vivid dreams and I did not yetrealize that I have psychic
dreams and mediumship dreams.
And I went to sleep one night acouple months after JP
(07:33):
transitioned and I had a dreamand JP Morgan was in the dream
and he was an elder, like he hadbeen before he transitioned.
And in the dream there was thispuppy with a very unusual color
.
He had the brown and the blackfur that JP Morgan had had, but
he had this signature whitestreak down the front of him and
(07:56):
he was a wire-haired dachshund.
Jp Morgan had been smooth andhe was a wire-haired dachshund
sort of this gruffy mid-lengthhair and he had this white
splash of color right down infront of him.
And I woke up from that dream asunknowing as I was of my own
(08:18):
intuitive awakening that wasstarting to take place.
I still just knew I had seen myparents' next dog.
So that dream gave me someclues.
I knew that they would beadopting a puppy.
I knew that this puppy would bewire haired, I knew that there
was a connection to JP Morganand I knew that this puppy was
(08:38):
going to have a very uniquecoloration.
I also knew that this puppywould be a boy.
So I got this nice little packetof clues in this dream and
didn't really know what to dowith it.
So I went online.
I went on Craigslist of allplaces, because this was back in
the day and that was still theplace to go to find out what was
(08:59):
going on locally with pets andapartments and all kinds of
different stuff.
And I found this puppy onCraigslist that seemed to tick
all the boxes and definitelylooked like this little puppy
I'd seen in a dream.
So I, old school, printed offthe photo of the puppy and I
(09:20):
head over to my parents and Isay I think this puppy is the
one that you're looking for.
Well, my mom and dad had newsfor me too, because they
unbeknownst to me, they hadreached out to JP Morgan's
breeder.
My dad had a real love forwire-haired dachshunds.
They're not easy to find.
(09:40):
They knew of this one breederthat they had worked with to
find JP Morgan.
Well, it turns out the breederjust had puppies.
All of the puppies were placed,except for one.
The puppy was a boy.
He was a true wire haired, notlike JP who came out smooth for
(10:01):
some reason, but he was a truewire haired and he had a splash
of white all the way down thefront of his chest.
Well, by that weekend we werein the car, driving the three
hours to go and visit thebreeder and meet this puppy, and
that turned out to be Flash.
And Flash is now nine and ahalf, and so the rest is history
(10:24):
, as they say.
But I didn't know.
I didn't know what washappening.
I didn't understand.
I'd never heard the term petreincarnation.
I certainly had no idea that Iwas an animal sensitive and
intuitive at that time.
I just knew I was a vividdreamer and I knew that
something about this wholepacket of clues was very
(10:45):
intriguing to me.
So I had at least enoughcourage to share my dream with
mom and dad and come to find out.
Not only did they not think itwas weird, but they already had
a whole plan in place to meetthis puppy who perfectly matched
up to the description.
So if you're listening to thisand you're thinking, well,
(11:06):
there's no way that I could evercall my pet back.
Just know you don't necessarilyhave to be intuitive for it to
happen.
Of course you can always workwith me.
That's one of the things I doeach week is I work with pet

But just know that in many cases, part of the big motivation for
a soul pet to say yes, asidefrom the glorious opportunity to

spend another lifetime with you, have another set of fresh
adventures, be unconditionallyloved, pampered and spoiled,
another big motivation is toserve their soul mission as your
partner, empathic friend andteacher.
That's what pet means to theanimals who have taken on
incarnations, where they live inclose company with us.
There are pets, empathicfriends and teachers and the
(12:11):
opportunity to help us wake upto our intuition, to help us
discover how to live life fromthe inside out and to really
truly raise the vibration of theplanet.
That's its own motivation.
And so if you're thinking toyourself, well, I'm not really
intuitive or I don't even thinkI really have time to develop
these skills.
You just have to be open andthe time that you need is the
(12:33):
time that you already have.
It's just about little tweaksand little shifts and again, I
talk a lot more about thatinside of animal communication
adventure if you're interested.
But you can also get great lifeexperience just scheduling a
session, just reading the PetReincarnation Joyful Reunions
Guide, learning a little bitmore about the process,
listening to these podcastepisodes.

I've recorded several episodesnow that focus specifically on
pet reincarnation my ownpersonal stories of how it's
happened to me, answeringquestions from pet parent
clients, sharing stories ofother pets who've reincarnated,
and so you can learn a ton whileyou're on the go, while you're
engaged in your everyday life.
You don't need to carve outextra time to learn how to live
(13:19):
intuitively.
You need to incorporateintuitive sensory connection to
your life as it's alreadyunfolding, in progress.
Now I'm going to return to ourtopic today and talk about a
second way that a pet may giveyou the heads up that they're
coming back to you, and that isthe story of how my petal came
(13:42):
back to me.
Now, petal was my soul bird of24 years, pearl, and Pearl was a
very tiny cockatiel.
He never weighed more thanabout 80 grams and he was gray
and white and he was veryrefined.
He had me very well trained.
We had all kinds of adventuresover the 24 years together.
(14:04):
And then one morning I woke upand, even though all the signs
were there, looking back Ididn't see any of them at the
time and I discovered he passedin the night and I was
blindsided, heartbroken.
I didn't work for half the year.
Now by this time I was ananimal communicator, so you can
imagine it was a difficult yearfor me.
I really couldn't work.
I couldn.
By this time I was an animalcommunicator, so you can imagine
it was a difficult year for me.
(14:24):
I really couldn't work, Icouldn't function, and I was
just recovering from such a blow.
And I was also learning so much, because Pearl was teaching me
so much about my craft that Iwouldn't have been able to learn
in any other way, and so it hasmade me good at what I do, if I
do say so myself.
(14:45):
And when it happened I was soimmersed in the firestorm of
grief that I almost missed it.
When Pearl broke through andthis was within a few hours of
me finding that he had passed, Ihad his little body in my hands
when this happened and hisvoice broke through my grief
(15:07):
firestorm and he said to me mom,I am rushing right back, I'm
going to be a ladybird this time.
My name will be Petal, and heshowed me a picture of a pale,
all yellow cockatiel.
This would be called a Lutinomutation in the world of
cockatiel breeding.
And what's so interesting and Ididn't even catch this there
(15:29):
were so many clues after thefact that all lined up to let me
know that this was absolutelyauthentic.
This wasn't something I made upin my delusions, my hysteria of
grief, one of which is the factthat Petal and Pearl, as names,
have the same number of lettersand only one letter different
the R versus the T.
(15:51):
So so, very interesting.
It just really takes thatdoubting left brain mind of us
and just says park it, there'ssomething to this.
And so that's another way thatour pets can let us know, even
when we're in the middle of thefirestorm of grief, even when we
are totally in our disbelievingleft brain mind, even when we
(16:11):
think I'm never going to behappy again, I'm never going to
smile again, life is never goingto feel joyful again.
It's always going to be hard.
From here on out, our petsnever stopped trying to reach us
.
They don't want us to live inthat space and from that place,
they know there's so much morethat's possible, truly.
And this is where I always goback to my favorite quote from
(16:32):
Albert Einstein, who said thereare two ways to live life.
One is as if nothing is amiracle, and the other way is as
if everything is a miracle andwe get to choose and we get what
we choose.
So you can consider that andask yourself what path have I
chosen?
How well am I living into that?
And if you choose the path ofmiracles, well, it also asks you
(16:56):
to be open to the possibilitythat miracles happen and that
miracles can happen to you.
Miracles happen to me and Icertainly have a little miracle.
Miss Petal is so opposite.
In the last podcast episode Italked about how our pets rarely
show up and look and actexactly like they did in their
last incarnation, because thatdoesn't serve.
(17:18):
So you can listen to thatepisode and learn more about
that.
But this little one, well,first of all, she's one of the
largest cockatiels anyone hasever seen.
She is wildly colorful.
She's a girl.
She's very different.
She has a different voice, shehas a different personality than
Mr Pearl, so it would be easyfor me to say, oh, she's not
really Pearl.
I know she's Pearl, I know youare, I know you are, and she's
(17:42):
just as loving.
So we've got to suspend that nomiracles mindset.
Either nothing's a miracle oreverything's a miracle.
It's really.
That's our choice.
And sometimes when my left brainmind gears up and I think, oh,
my goodness, am I really, did Imake all this up?
She'll give me a look.
She'll just give me a look likeand we're wasting brain energy
(18:05):
on that, thought again why?
And I get it and I snap out ofit and I move on.
We've got a left brain mind fora reason.
When I teach animalcommunication, I talk about the
role very essential, necessaryrole of the left brain mind.
But it's got its place and it'sgot its job and it does not
need to be tiptoeing over to theintuitive side of our inner
(18:28):
life because it doesn't havethose skills and abilities.
That's not what it's there forand that's not where it belongs.
So just understand thesepackets of clues and I'm fine.
This is pretty consistent,whether it comes in the form of
inner language, like I'veliterally heard Pearl's voice,
or it comes in the form of adream or in some other way.
I'll talk about another waythat it can happen here in just
(18:51):
a minute.
But there does tend to be alittle packet of clues and and
it's just enough to get us going.
Kind of little, little primingof the pump, so to speak, to set
our intuitive system in motion.
Give us something to anchor to.
Otherwise it just feels likethis giant crapshoot out there.
(19:12):
There's so many people, there'sso many animals.
How on earth will you ever know?
So you do get something to hangyour hat on.
But it is all about followingthe clues.
We need to learn if we want tobe intuitive, if we want that
joyful reunion with our soul pet, we do need to be willing to
become a student of intuition.
(19:32):
Intuition means your innerteacher.
Become a student and begin tofollow those subtle clues.
These are felt clues, these areknown clues, these are not
thought clues and it can take alittle doing.
Again, these are small moves,little tweaks in our awareness
and how we go about our everydaylife.
(19:54):

So I now want to talk about yetanother way that our animals can
let us know that they arereturning, and this is another
story from my personal archive.
I just spent a two-parter,two-part episode that you may
want to go back and check out,on how my beloved rescued box
turtle, bruce, came back to methrough pet reincarnation.
(20:40):
But in this episode right now Ijust want to focus in very
closely on how Bruce let me knowand it was very interesting
because I've not had theprivilege of working with two
terribly many cases where thepet reincarnates through a soul
walk-in.
What's a soul walk-in?
(21:00):
A soul walk-in is where, behindthe scenes, the spirit, the
embodied spirits, the souls ofthe animals work out to where
one soul who's occupying thebody exits, goes elsewhere, back
to spirit, into another body,and a new soul walks in and
(21:21):
inhabits that body.
And that's exactly whathappened to me with my beloved
box turtle Bruce and my youngbox turtle, io, and what
happened was so surprising, andI don't know that it always has
to unfold exactly like this.
This is breaking news, so I'msharing it as I'm learning it,
and I'm always learning newthings and rest assured that as
(21:44):
I learn new details about allthe ways that pet reincarnation
can work, I will be sharing themhere and you will be the first
to hear about them.
But in this particular case Ihadn't checked in with Bruce in
a while.
Bruce had escaped during aperiod of my life when my father
had just passed and my motherhad been involved in a really
(22:04):
horrific, freak accident and Iwas very much engaged in helping
my family and Bruce escaped andI wasn't able to do the kind of
search for him that would havehelped me really recover him.
So that remained like an openwound in my heart.
I never really learned whathappened to him.
(22:24):
I did communicate with him.
I was an animal communicator intraining by that time and so I
did communicate with him and Ialso hired communicators to help
me communicate with him and helet me know he wanted to be free
and there were a whole host ofreasons for that, but it never
was resolved.
I didn't know where he was.
I would check in with himperiodically, I would remind him
(22:47):
how to stay safe, how to stayaway from humans, just make sure
he was okay.
But it had been some time and Iwas busy building my business, I
was busy living my life and Ihadn't checked in with him in a
while and I had gone to Alaskato visit a couple of girlfriends
of mine and I was reallyexcited about this trip.
But when I came home, for somereason, I got really, really,
(23:13):
really sick and I was sick forquite a few weeks and I spent a
lot of time just lying in bed.
And one night I reached out toBruce and I just wanted to check
in with him.
I just had this moment where Ijust had some time and I just
wanted to check in with him andhe informed me that he had
passed and, as if I wasn'talready feeling awful enough,
(23:35):
and he said oh, mom, but don'tworry, I lived the best life and
it's okay.
And I met a lady turtle and Imade eggs and I passed on my DNA
and I was able to live my wildlife the way I never could have
if I hadn't spent time with youfirst and that's a whole other
story Hearing from him.
(23:56):
It gave me a sense of peace andclosure, and when I woke up the
next morning, somehowinexplicably I didn't feel as
sick, I felt better, and I feltbetter enough that I could go
outside and sit with my nowthree-year-old box Io, who
really hadn't developed much ofa personality.
(24:17):
I had been trying, I'd beenworking with him.
I didn't even know he was a boyyet.
I wasn't sure if Io was a girlor a boy.
You don't find these things outin box turtles until they get a
little older and a littlebigger.
So I didn't even know whatgender Io was and I didn't
really seem fond of me, eventhough I had been a constant
presence in his life since hewas seven months old.
(24:39):
He just wasn't into me and hewould run away when he would see
me.
But when I went outside to sitin the sun I decided I would
check on Ayo and he had beentrying to be unobtrusive because
he didn't really seem to becomfortable in my presence, and
so I was trying not to handlehim too much or do anything to
cause him fear, and it was likewho are you and what have you
(25:01):
done with Ayo?
Ayo was so friendly.
He ran up to me.
It became quite clear in thenext few days that he had
developed enough that he was aboy and I got visual proof of
that in the PG show, so I'llspare you the details.
But he was a boy and he wasacting just like my Bruce and I
(25:22):
was like, okay, am I justdreaming this?
Is this really happening?
And it's been a few months nowand I can say with absolute
confidence and clarity this ismy Bruce back.
It was so uncanny.
So that again is to say,sometimes our pets let us know,
(25:44):
because they need to alter ourstate a little bit, I think just
because of the nature of theunresolved grief I had around
Bruce and the fact that I hadn'tchecked in with him in a while
to what was going on with Io andthat I was really investing a
lot of time helping other petparents with their reincarnated
pets and just with their pets ingeneral, I was neglecting the
(26:06):
home front a little bit anddefinitely neglecting my health
a little bit, and it took merefocusing my attention on Bruce
to notice what was unfoldingright under my nose, and it took
shifting my mindset and beingso sick I wouldn't necessarily
say that you've got to be sickin order for your pet to get
(26:26):
your attention and let you know.
But that's just what worked.
I was sick, the serendipity ofit, I'm sure, shifting my
mindset and showing me a miracle.
So again, with that, I chosethe path of miracles.
Either nothing's a miracle oreverything's a miracle.
Well, this has been a bona fidemiracle.
I never thought I would be ableto be with Bruce again.
(26:47):
He just needed to shift mymindset, open me up to a new
possibility.
I really believe that my mindwas blocking it.
I didn't think anything likethis could ever transpire, and I
know how long box turtles canlive.
It never crossed my mind thathe might transition.
It never crossed my mind thathe might come back.
It never crossed my mind thathe might come back into Io.
(27:08):
So it's about sometimes gettingour mind out of the way and our
animals can get creative abouthow they do this.
Yet another way, a soul pet cancome back.
And this is so interestingbecause there is a parallel with
human parents, where we've allheard those stories or at least
I have where a couple is tryingand trying and trying to
(27:31):
conceive and they get to thepoint where finally they say I
throw up my hands, I give up,and they become open to adoption
.
They adopt a child and, lo andbehold, they're not going to be
able to have a child.
They conceive and their familyexpands even further.
And I have seen it where a petparent has adopted another
(27:52):
animal for whatever reason,either in despair, either
because the animal crosses theirpath and simply needs a home,
whatever it is.
And after that animal comesinto their life, then they meet
their soul pet again in theirnew body.
Either there's a walk-in, likeit was with me with Bruce and Io
(28:13):
, or it's another pet whocrosses their path, and perhaps
not even one that they wereplanning to adopt.
But they recognize each otherand they say, okay, this is the
one I've been waiting for, andtheir family expands.
And what's so interesting andI'll do another episode on soul
contracts here in a bit, butwhat's so interesting is then
(28:36):
we're looking at soul agreementsbetween ourselves and both
animals and we're looking atsoul agreements between those
animals.
So that becomes another layerof intriguing exploration and so
much to be learned from theseanimals who serve as our
(28:57):
partners, our empathic friendsand our teachers.
So I'll leave you with this one.
Yet another way that our animalscan let us know that they're
coming back is through animalcommunication, and this may be a
situation where you work withsomeone like me who specializes
in pet reincarnation.
(29:18):
This may be something whereyou're able to communicate with
your animal.
In fact, some of the pet parentclients that I work with also
have animal communicationtraining, and so sometimes it's
just a matter of invitingsomebody else in who's a little
bit more objective or somebodywho just gives them a little
encouragement.
Because it can be a lonelyjourney, especially as we're
unfolding our intuitiveabilities, if we're not
(29:40):
surrounded, if the people, theother people that we've already
populated our life with, aren'tperhaps on board with, or
interested in, or believing in,or comfortable with intuitive
living and intuitivecommunications.
Sometimes it can be a littlebit of a lonely journey, having
to carry that vision, carry thatmiracle mindedness all by
ourselves.
So it can be really nice tohave a little company on that
(30:02):
journey and somebody to stand inyour corner and cheer you on
and support you along the pathto the joyful reunion.
So that is another way that Ican talk with your pet.
We can talk with your pettogether.
I also offer mentoring so youcan talk with your pet together
and we can get that littlepacket of clues to get you

It's happened to me four timesin this lifetime with a single
animal, and that would be mysleepy little parrot here, my
baby parrot almost two years,huh, Miss Petal, my baby parrot
of almost two years, huh, MissPetal.
And it's happened to me with,in a most unexpected way, with
(00:56):
my beloved rescued box turtle,Bruce, who came back to me
through my three-year-old boxturtle, ayo.
And so in this episode I wantto build on what we started two
weeks ago, talking about some ofthe particulars, about what to
expect.
What is pet reincarnationreally like, how can it happen,
and how will your pet in spiritlet you know that they are
(01:17):
planning, or that they want to,or that they're willing to come
back, to reincarnate back to youin a new body?
And so, if you're new, you'renew to this whole subject,
you're new to let's talk toanimals.
You're new to me.
You're new to animalcommunication.

What does that look like andwhy would an animal want to do
that?

In this episode, what I want totalk to you about is some of
the ways that your pet can letyou know.

How will an animal let theirhuman know?
Yes, I want to come back.
I shared in the last episodethat this is not a linear
process.
It's not particularly a logicalor an analytical process.
It's not like getting Sirigoing on your smartphone or
(02:24):
pulling up MapQuest or getting aset of old school printed
directions saying at the fork,go right, and then you see the
tree and you take a left, andthen there's a gas station and
you go straight, et cetera, etcetera.
It's not necessarily like that.
However, it can feel like thatfor somebody who is awake to
their intuition, who isawakening their intuitive self,

and that is a huge part of theprocess and the animal's
motivation for saying yes, andso you can listen back to that
first episode and get a sense ofsome of the reasons and the
motivations, what it might looklike to say yes to a joyful
(03:10):
reunion, to start that process,what it might feel like as
you're going through it and theend result of waking up your own
intuition and some of thebenefits, not just with you and
your animal coming back together, but the benefits, the ripple
effect in your whole life whenyou say yes to waking up as an

intuitive, embodied soul andlearning to use what I call your
IOS, your intuitive operatingsystem, which is something that

So for this episode, let'sstart to break it down a little
bit.
What are some of the ways thatyour animal might let you know
that they are willing or wantingor ready or intending on

returning to you in a new body?
And to do thisI'm going to share some stories,
and the first one happened longbefore I had even an inkling,
before animal communication waseven a gleam in my eye.
I had no idea that I wasintuitive.
I had no idea that I wassensitive to animal energy.
(04:40):
I had zero concept of myself asan animal communicator.
I was hiring animalcommunicators, but I was not an
animal communicator and did notthink that I had that ability.
And what happened was my momlost her soul dog JP Morgan.
(05:00):
Jp Morgan passed into spiritand my mom and my dad went into
a funk.
It's hard.
Suddenly we wake up andeverything is different and we
are different.
It's very jarring, especiallyif we're not really tuned in to
what's going on and why it feelsso jarring.
(05:21):

emotional, one part mental, onepart relational, one part soul
level.

Going back to our story, whathappened was JP Morgan
transitioned and it was anassisted transition, so it was
an in-vet clinic euthanasia, andI witnessed my parents,
especially my dad, really dipdown into a depression,
(07:10):
especially my dad.
He was really struggling and Ireally wanted to help.
Of course, I've always been avivid dreamer.
I didn't really know what to doper se, but I've always had
vivid dreams and I did not yetrealize that I have psychic
dreams and mediumship dreams.
And I went to sleep one night acouple months after JP
(07:33):
transitioned and I had a dreamand JP Morgan was in the dream
and he was an elder, like he hadbeen before he transitioned.
And in the dream there was thispuppy with a very unusual color
.
He had the brown and the blackfur that JP Morgan had had, but
he had this signature whitestreak down the front of him and
(07:56):
he was a wire-haired dachshund.
Jp Morgan had been smooth andhe was a wire-haired dachshund
sort of this gruffy mid-lengthhair and he had this white
splash of color right down infront of him.
And I woke up from that dream asunknowing as I was of my own
(08:18):
intuitive awakening that wasstarting to take place.
I still just knew I had seen myparents' next dog.
So that dream gave me someclues.
I knew that they would beadopting a puppy.
I knew that this puppy would bewire haired, I knew that there
was a connection to JP Morganand I knew that this puppy was
(08:38):
going to have a very uniquecoloration.
I also knew that this puppywould be a boy.
So I got this nice little packetof clues in this dream and
didn't really know what to dowith it.
So I went online.
I went on Craigslist of allplaces, because this was back in
the day and that was still theplace to go to find out what was
(08:59):
going on locally with pets andapartments and all kinds of
different stuff.
And I found this puppy onCraigslist that seemed to tick
all the boxes and definitelylooked like this little puppy
I'd seen in a dream.
So I, old school, printed offthe photo of the puppy and I
(09:20):
head over to my parents and Isay I think this puppy is the
one that you're looking for.
Well, my mom and dad had newsfor me too, because they
unbeknownst to me, they hadreached out to JP Morgan's
breeder.
My dad had a real love forwire-haired dachshunds.
They're not easy to find.
(09:40):
They knew of this one breederthat they had worked with to
find JP Morgan.
Well, it turns out the breederjust had puppies.
All of the puppies were placed,except for one.
The puppy was a boy.
He was a true wire haired, notlike JP who came out smooth for
(10:01):
some reason, but he was a truewire haired and he had a splash
of white all the way down thefront of his chest.
Well, by that weekend we werein the car, driving the three
hours to go and visit thebreeder and meet this puppy, and
that turned out to be Flash.
And Flash is now nine and ahalf, and so the rest is history
(10:24):
, as they say.
But I didn't know.
I didn't know what washappening.
I didn't understand.
I'd never heard the term petreincarnation.
I certainly had no idea that Iwas an animal sensitive and
intuitive at that time.
I just knew I was a vividdreamer and I knew that
something about this wholepacket of clues was very
(10:45):
intriguing to me.
So I had at least enoughcourage to share my dream with
mom and dad and come to find out.
Not only did they not think itwas weird, but they already had
a whole plan in place to meetthis puppy who perfectly matched
up to the description.
So if you're listening to thisand you're thinking, well,
(11:06):
there's no way that I could evercall my pet back.
Just know you don't necessarilyhave to be intuitive for it to
happen.
Of course you can always workwith me.
That's one of the things I doeach week is I work with pet

But just know that in many cases, part of the big motivation for
a soul pet to say yes, asidefrom the glorious opportunity to

spend another lifetime with you, have another set of fresh
adventures, be unconditionallyloved, pampered and spoiled,
another big motivation is toserve their soul mission as your
partner, empathic friend andteacher.
That's what pet means to theanimals who have taken on
incarnations, where they live inclose company with us.
There are pets, empathicfriends and teachers and the
(12:11):
opportunity to help us wake upto our intuition, to help us
discover how to live life fromthe inside out and to really
truly raise the vibration of theplanet.
That's its own motivation.
And so if you're thinking toyourself, well, I'm not really
intuitive or I don't even thinkI really have time to develop
these skills.
You just have to be open andthe time that you need is the
(12:33):
time that you already have.
It's just about little tweaksand little shifts and again, I
talk a lot more about thatinside of animal communication
adventure if you're interested.
But you can also get great lifeexperience just scheduling a

I've recorded several episodesnow that focus specifically on
pet reincarnation my ownpersonal stories of how it's
happened to me, answeringquestions from pet parent
clients, sharing stories ofother pets who've reincarnated,
and so you can learn a ton whileyou're on the go, while you're
engaged in your everyday life.
You don't need to carve outextra time to learn how to live
(13:19):
intuitively.
You need to incorporateintuitive sensory connection to
your life as it's alreadyunfolding, in progress.
Now I'm going to return to ourtopic today and talk about a
second way that a pet may giveyou the heads up that they're
coming back to you, and that isthe story of how my petal came
(13:42):
back to me.
Now, petal was my soul bird of24 years, pearl, and Pearl was a
very tiny cockatiel.
He never weighed more thanabout 80 grams and he was gray
and white and he was veryrefined.
He had me very well trained.
We had all kinds of adventuresover the 24 years together.
(14:04):
And then one morning I woke upand, even though all the signs
were there, looking back Ididn't see any of them at the
time and I discovered he passedin the night and I was
blindsided, heartbroken.
I didn't work for half the year.
Now by this time I was ananimal communicator, so you can
imagine it was a difficult yearfor me.
I really couldn't work.
I couldn.
By this time I was an animalcommunicator, so you can imagine
it was a difficult year for me.
(14:24):
I really couldn't work, Icouldn't function, and I was
just recovering from such a blow.
And I was also learning so much, because Pearl was teaching me
so much about my craft that Iwouldn't have been able to learn
in any other way, and so it hasmade me good at what I do, if I
do say so myself.
(14:45):
And when it happened I was soimmersed in the firestorm of
grief that I almost missed it.
When Pearl broke through andthis was within a few hours of
me finding that he had passed, Ihad his little body in my hands
when this happened and hisvoice broke through my grief
(15:07):
firestorm and he said to me mom,I am rushing right back, I'm
going to be a ladybird this time.
My name will be Petal, and heshowed me a picture of a pale,
all yellow cockatiel.
This would be called a Lutinomutation in the world of
cockatiel breeding.
And what's so interesting and Ididn't even catch this there
(15:29):
were so many clues after thefact that all lined up to let me
know that this was absolutelyauthentic.
This wasn't something I made upin my delusions, my hysteria of
grief, one of which is the factthat Petal and Pearl, as names,
have the same number of lettersand only one letter different
the R versus the T.
(15:51):
So so, very interesting.
It just really takes thatdoubting left brain mind of us
and just says park it, there'ssomething to this.
And so that's another way thatour pets can let us know, even
when we're in the middle of thefirestorm of grief, even when we
are totally in our disbelievingleft brain mind, even when we
(16:11):
think I'm never going to behappy again, I'm never going to
smile again, life is never goingto feel joyful again.
It's always going to be hard.
From here on out, our petsnever stopped trying to reach us
.
They don't want us to live inthat space and from that place,
they know there's so much morethat's possible, truly.
And this is where I always goback to my favorite quote from
(16:32):
Albert Einstein, who said thereare two ways to live life.
One is as if nothing is amiracle, and the other way is as
if everything is a miracle andwe get to choose and we get what
we choose.
So you can consider that andask yourself what path have I
chosen?
How well am I living into that?
And if you choose the path ofmiracles, well, it also asks you
(16:56):
to be open to the possibilitythat miracles happen and that
miracles can happen to you.
Miracles happen to me and Icertainly have a little miracle.
Miss Petal is so opposite.
In the last podcast episode Italked about how our pets rarely
show up and look and actexactly like they did in their
last incarnation, because thatdoesn't serve.
(17:18):
So you can listen to thatepisode and learn more about
that.
But this little one, well,first of all, she's one of the
largest cockatiels anyone hasever seen.
She is wildly colorful.
She's a girl.
She's very different.
She has a different voice, shehas a different personality than
Mr Pearl, so it would be easyfor me to say, oh, she's not
really Pearl.
I know she's Pearl, I know youare, I know you are, and she's
(17:42):
just as loving.
So we've got to suspend that nomiracles mindset.
Either nothing's a miracle oreverything's a miracle.
It's really.
That's our choice.
And sometimes when my left brainmind gears up and I think, oh,
my goodness, am I really, did Imake all this up?
She'll give me a look.
She'll just give me a look likeand we're wasting brain energy
(18:05):
on that, thought again why?
And I get it and I snap out ofit and I move on.
We've got a left brain mind fora reason.
When I teach animalcommunication, I talk about the
role very essential, necessaryrole of the left brain mind.
But it's got its place and it'sgot its job and it does not
need to be tiptoeing over to theintuitive side of our inner
(18:28):
life because it doesn't havethose skills and abilities.
That's not what it's there forand that's not where it belongs.
So just understand thesepackets of clues and I'm fine.
This is pretty consistent,whether it comes in the form of
inner language, like I'veliterally heard Pearl's voice,
or it comes in the form of adream or in some other way.
I'll talk about another waythat it can happen here in just
(18:51):
a minute.
But there does tend to be alittle packet of clues and and
it's just enough to get us going.
Kind of little, little primingof the pump, so to speak, to set
our intuitive system in motion.
Give us something to anchor to.
Otherwise it just feels likethis giant crapshoot out there.
(19:12):
There's so many people, there'sso many animals.
How on earth will you ever know?
So you do get something to hangyour hat on.
But it is all about followingthe clues.
We need to learn if we want tobe intuitive, if we want that
joyful reunion with our soul pet, we do need to be willing to
become a student of intuition.
(19:32):
Intuition means your innerteacher.
Become a student and begin tofollow those subtle clues.
These are felt clues, these areknown clues, these are not
thought clues and it can take alittle doing.
Again, these are small moves,little tweaks in our awareness
and how we go about our everydaylife.
(19:54):

So I now want to talk about yetanother way that our animals can
let us know that they arereturning, and this is another
story from my personal archive.
I just spent a two-parter,two-part episode that you may
want to go back and check out,on how my beloved rescued box
turtle, bruce, came back to methrough pet reincarnation.

But in this episode right now Ijust want to focus in very
closely on how Bruce let me knowand it was very interesting
because I've not had theprivilege of working with two
terribly many cases where thepet reincarnates through a soul
walk-in.
What's a soul walk-in?
(21:00):
A soul walk-in is where, behindthe scenes, the spirit, the
embodied spirits, the souls ofthe animals work out to where
one soul who's occupying thebody exits, goes elsewhere, back
to spirit, into another body,and a new soul walks in and
(21:21):
inhabits that body.
And that's exactly whathappened to me with my beloved
box turtle Bruce and my youngbox turtle, io, and what
happened was so surprising, andI don't know that it always has
to unfold exactly like this.
This is breaking news, so I'msharing it as I'm learning it,
and I'm always learning newthings and rest assured that as
(21:44):
I learn new details about allthe ways that pet reincarnation
can work, I will be sharing themhere and you will be the first
to hear about them.
But in this particular case Ihadn't checked in with Bruce in
a while.
Bruce had escaped during aperiod of my life when my father
had just passed and my motherhad been involved in a really
(22:04):
horrific, freak accident and Iwas very much engaged in helping
my family and Bruce escaped andI wasn't able to do the kind of
search for him that would havehelped me really recover him.
So that remained like an openwound in my heart.
I never really learned whathappened to him.
(22:24):
I did communicate with him.
I was an animal communicator intraining by that time and so I
did communicate with him and Ialso hired communicators to help
me communicate with him and helet me know he wanted to be free
and there were a whole host ofreasons for that, but it never
was resolved.
I didn't know where he was.
I would check in with himperiodically, I would remind him
(22:47):
how to stay safe, how to stayaway from humans, just make sure
he was okay.
But it had been some time and Iwas busy building my business, I
was busy living my life and Ihadn't checked in with him in a
while and I had gone to Alaskato visit a couple of girlfriends
of mine and I was reallyexcited about this trip.
But when I came home, for somereason, I got really, really,
(23:13):
really sick and I was sick forquite a few weeks and I spent a
lot of time just lying in bed.
And one night I reached out toBruce and I just wanted to check
in with him.
I just had this moment where Ijust had some time and I just
wanted to check in with him andhe informed me that he had
passed and, as if I wasn'talready feeling awful enough,
(23:35):
and he said oh, mom, but don'tworry, I lived the best life and
it's okay.
And I met a lady turtle and Imade eggs and I passed on my DNA
and I was able to live my wildlife the way I never could have
if I hadn't spent time with youfirst and that's a whole other
story Hearing from him.
(23:56):
It gave me a sense of peace andclosure, and when I woke up the
next morning, somehowinexplicably I didn't feel as
sick, I felt better, and I feltbetter enough that I could go
outside and sit with my nowthree-year-old box Io, who
really hadn't developed much ofa personality.
(24:17):
I had been trying, I'd beenworking with him.
I didn't even know he was a boyyet.
I wasn't sure if Io was a girlor a boy.
You don't find these things outin box turtles until they get a
little older and a littlebigger.
So I didn't even know whatgender Io was and I didn't
really seem fond of me, eventhough I had been a constant
presence in his life since hewas seven months old.
(24:39):
He just wasn't into me and hewould run away when he would see
me.
But when I went outside to sitin the sun I decided I would
check on Ayo and he had beentrying to be unobtrusive because
he didn't really seem to becomfortable in my presence, and
so I was trying not to handlehim too much or do anything to
cause him fear, and it was likewho are you and what have you
(25:01):
done with Ayo?
Ayo was so friendly.
He ran up to me.
It became quite clear in thenext few days that he had
developed enough that he was aboy and I got visual proof of
that in the PG show, so I'llspare you the details.
But he was a boy and he wasacting just like my Bruce and I
(25:22):
was like, okay, am I justdreaming this?
Is this really happening?
And it's been a few months nowand I can say with absolute
confidence and clarity this ismy Bruce back.
It was so uncanny.
So that again is to say,sometimes our pets let us know,
(25:44):
because they need to alter ourstate a little bit, I think just
because of the nature of theunresolved grief I had around
Bruce and the fact that I hadn'tchecked in with him in a while
to what was going on with Io andthat I was really investing a
lot of time helping other petparents with their reincarnated
pets and just with their pets ingeneral, I was neglecting the
(26:06):
home front a little bit anddefinitely neglecting my health
a little bit, and it took merefocusing my attention on Bruce
to notice what was unfoldingright under my nose, and it took
shifting my mindset and beingso sick I wouldn't necessarily
say that you've got to be sickin order for your pet to get
(26:26):
your attention and let you know.
But that's just what worked.
I was sick, the serendipity ofit, I'm sure, shifting my
mindset and showing me a miracle.
So again, with that, I chosethe path of miracles.
Either nothing's a miracle oreverything's a miracle.
Well, this has been a bona fidemiracle.
I never thought I would be ableto be with Bruce again.
(26:47):
He just needed to shift mymindset, open me up to a new
possibility.
I really believe that my mindwas blocking it.
I didn't think anything likethis could ever transpire, and I
know how long box turtles canlive.
It never crossed my mind thathe might transition.
It never crossed my mind thathe might come back.
It never crossed my mind thathe might come back into Io.
(27:08):
So it's about sometimes gettingour mind out of the way and our
animals can get creative abouthow they do this.
Yet another way, a soul pet cancome back.
And this is so interestingbecause there is a parallel with
human parents, where we've allheard those stories or at least
I have where a couple is tryingand trying and trying to
(27:31):
conceive and they get to thepoint where finally they say I
throw up my hands, I give up,and they become open to adoption
.
They adopt a child and, lo andbehold, they're not going to be
able to have a child.
They conceive and their familyexpands even further.
And I have seen it where a petparent has adopted another
(27:52):
animal for whatever reason,either in despair, either
because the animal crosses theirpath and simply needs a home,
whatever it is.
And after that animal comesinto their life, then they meet
their soul pet again in theirnew body.
Either there's a walk-in, likeit was with me with Bruce and Io
(28:13):
, or it's another pet whocrosses their path, and perhaps
not even one that they wereplanning to adopt.
But they recognize each otherand they say, okay, this is the
one I've been waiting for, andtheir family expands.
And what's so interesting andI'll do another episode on soul
contracts here in a bit, butwhat's so interesting is then
(28:36):
we're looking at soul agreementsbetween ourselves and both
animals and we're looking atsoul agreements between those
animals.
So that becomes another layerof intriguing exploration and so
much to be learned from theseanimals who serve as our
(28:57):
partners, our empathic friendsand our teachers.
So I'll leave you with this one.
Yet another way that our animalscan let us know that they're
coming back is through animalcommunication, and this may be a
situation where you work withsomeone like me who specializes
in pet reincarnation.
(29:18):
This may be something whereyou're able to communicate with
your animal.
In fact, some of the pet parentclients that I work with also
have animal communicationtraining, and so sometimes it's
just a matter of invitingsomebody else in who's a little
bit more objective or somebodywho just gives them a little
encouragement.
Because it can be a lonelyjourney, especially as we're
unfolding our intuitiveabilities, if we're not
(29:40):
surrounded, if the people, theother people that we've already
populated our life with, aren'tperhaps on board with, or
interested in, or believing in,or comfortable with intuitive
living and intuitivecommunications.
Sometimes it can be a littlebit of a lonely journey, having
to carry that vision, carry thatmiracle mindedness all by
ourselves.
So it can be really nice tohave a little company on that
(30:02):
journey and somebody to stand inyour corner and cheer you on
and support you along the pathto the joyful reunion.
So that is another way that Ican talk with your pet.
We can talk with your pettogether.
