Speaker 1 (00:05):
Welcome back to let's Talk to Animals, the podcast
all species can enjoy together.
My name is Shannon Cutts.
I am an animal sensitive andintuitive, a Reiki master
practitioner and an animalcommunication teacher with
animallovelanguagescom and forour purposes here today, I am
also your friendly neighborhoodhostess and guide through the

(00:25):
wild, wise and wonderful worldof interspecies communication.
Call me crazy, but I trulybelieve that animal
communication has the power tosave, heal and restore our
planet for all species to enjoyand share.
When we learn to communicatewith one another, we begin to
realize we are so much morealike than different.

(00:46):
We care about each other.
We become friends.
On this podcast we talk aboutwhat the animals have to say and
share and why our pets trulyare our partners, empathic
friends and teachers.
I am so glad you have joined ushere for this fresh new episode
of let's Talk to Animals, solet's dive in.

(01:08):
Welcome back to let's Talk toAnimals, shannon, here, and I'm
so excited to share thisintriguing topic with you.
This is an area of my pet'slives that I've become
increasingly curious about.
One of the things that I havelearned as a professional
working animal communicator isthat we as pet parents, as

(01:30):
animal guardians, we don't knoweverything there is to know
about our pets and their livesand their dreams and their other
relationships.
And while we can sort thesetypes of questions out fairly
easily when it comes to well, how does my pet feel about that
animal down the street or thatdog around the corner or that

(01:53):
cat that likes to hang out onthe fence we can't as easily
sort out our pet's spirituallives, our pet's soul-level
lives, if you will, or the livesthat our pets remember from
their soul families in theetheric space or the spirit
space, however you like toconceptualize or think about

(02:17):
that.
And I see this every day as I'mtalking with your animals.
When an animal will sharesomething with me that the pet
parent or the animal guardian,my human client, finds genuinely
perplexing or confusing or flatout says no, my animal's not
like that or that doesn't soundanything like what my animal

(02:39):
enjoys or likes to do.
And what I have learned over theyears studying with master
teachers myself, becoming ateacher with my own students, is
when something comes through, there's always a reason for it,
there's always a thread of truthrunning through it.
But there may be more nuancethere for us to explore.

(03:01):
There may be more there to knowthan we can even know.
There is a level of amnesia, ifyou will, that we receive when
we incarnate into a 3D physicalbody that is protective of the
lessons that our soul has chosento learn, the experiences that,
at the soul level, we know weneed and want in order to grow

(03:25):
and evolve as a soul.
And so we may not knoweverything there is to know,
even about our own soul journey, let alone about the soul
journeys of others in our livesand most especially our
non-human family members whotruly have their own secret
lives.
That movie, the Secret Lives ofPets that was on to something,

(03:47):
and I experienced that every dayand over time as I gained the
trust of my animal spirit, teachers and guides and mentors
and coaches, and by gainingtheir trust I mean I continue
pressing forward, I continuemoving through challenges, I
continue showing up, I continueasking I want to see, I want to
hear, I want to smell, I want totaste.
I continue moving throughchallenges, I continue showing
up, I continue asking I want tosee, I want to hear, I want to
smell, I want to taste, I wantto sense, I want to feel, I want

(04:11):
to know, I want to grow, I wantto evolve.
Please help me.
More and more is revealed and,of course, if you've been
listening to let's Talk toAnimals for some time now.
You know that as I learn more,I always want to come here and I
want to share it with you.
And I want to get your insightsand experiences as well.

(04:32):
And when a topic bubbles up asstrongly as this one did a few
days ago in my morningmeditation, I have the feeling
that, as you're listening, youmay resonate with what I'm
sharing and even be able to scanyour recent perimeter of
experiences and intuitiveinsights and realize that maybe

(04:54):
this is bubbling up for you too.
So let me know if that happens.
But I want to start right at thebeginning with what are we
talking about when we're talkingabout an animal's spirit guide
or a power animal or an animaltotem?
Hey wait, I thought that wasjust for people.
Well, we may have appropriatedit for our species and certainly

(05:16):
we are probably the life formhere on planet Earth that needs
spirit level or soul levelsupport the most.
But we are far from the onlyembodied beings who live here on
earth who have what I call alight team.
Now, when I'm teaching animalcommunication and I'm talking
about the light team.

(05:36):
I'm talking about a diversecollective of soul level
entities, energies and beings ofall species and in all
dimensions who gather around thecommunicator to provide support
in many different areas.
That support may be very directto animal communication.
That support may be directed atsomething related, let's say, a

(06:00):
personal obstacle or anunhealed trauma or wound in
their own life that's preventingthem from being able to talk
freely with animals about thingslike trauma or wounds.
It could be something thatseems totally unrelated to
animal communication but haseverything to do with how that
individual student is able toshow up for their life, for new

(06:22):
opportunities like learninganimal communication.
So it's a diverse collectiveand the way that I like to
explain light teams is that ourlight team members may come into
our life for a reason, seasonor a lifetime, just like that
old cliche.
In other words, we have atleast one spirit, guide or

(06:42):
master level, coach, teacher, mentor, helper, who is with us
for the duration and in betweenlives and over multiple
incarnations.
So you can think of thisindividual like the guardian of
the soul's growth and evolutionand the one who retains the big

(07:03):
picture perspective of that soulfrom start to unfolding.
I don't know if we can sayconclusion the jury's still out
on that one but there is atleast one entity or energy who
is continually with that souland that soul trusts their
master teacher or their masterspirit guide implicitly and

(07:25):
relies on them.
Then we can have a host ofother light team helpers from
any dimension, from manydifferent energy levels.
We might say I need a light teammember to help me with this, or
I'm having trouble talking withan animal about this particular
topic.
For me for many years it wasfood, because I have recovered

(07:46):
from an eating disorder, so Ijust didn't like to talk about
food with animals and so Ineeded to call in a special
troubleshooting light teammember to help me with food and
talking about food with comfortand ease and openness and
receptivity.
For you it might be somethingcompletely different and we can
have light team members come infor helping us with

(08:07):
relationships, with health, withsoul evolution, with finding
our path and our teacher.
If you are looking for ananimal communication teacher,
you can ask for a teacher, spirit guide to come in and
guide you to the right teacher.
So we have all of thesedifferent spirit helpers.
Now this is just for humansright now that we're talking
about.
And until I started studying andthen practicing animal

(08:31):
communication, I didn't reallygive much thought to whether or
not non-human animals, my planetmates, also have light teams,
also have power.
Spirit guides also have masterteachers, coaches, supervisors,
overseers who guide them fromincarnation to incarnation.

(08:53):
And it was only when I began tofeel particularly called to
work with pets who are wantingto reincarnate back to their
people that I felt increasinglydrawn to examine the behind the
scenes.
And the animal said to meyou're going to need to know
this so you can help othersthrough it, talk knowledgeably
about the mechanics.

(09:14):
And so they began to unfold thebehind the scenes for me and
it's just been so fascinating torealize that our non-human
family members and our loves, they also have so much spirit
support.
So if you ever see your animaljust staring off into space or
staring into a corner or lookingup or digging in a particular

(09:34):
corner of the yard and we'lltalk about all kinds of signs
that you can look for a littlebit later on in this episode but
just know that's not nothing.
There's always a reason andthere's a high degree of
likelihood that they're justtaking a quiet moment with a
member of their light team, ormaybe even their master teacher
and their master guide, to checkin, to download updates, to

(09:57):
maybe talk through issues, whatever that they feel like
they need to do to keepprogressing in their learning
journey.
I always share with my petparent clients and if you've had
a session with me, you'veprobably heard me say this.
Nobody comes into one of these3D physical bodies these
spacesuits, as the animal callsthem without having two purposes

(10:18):
.
One purpose is they've gotsomething that they need to
learn and want to learn, and two, they have something that they
need to or want to teach toshare.
So we all incarnate into these3D spacesuits needing to learn
something and bringing guidance, wisdom, something that we can

(10:39):
share or teach to others, andour non-human family members are
no exception to that.
So they too, just like we do.
Theyhuman family members are noexception to that.
So they too, just like we do,they're going to need some help
with that.
We don't exist very well in avacuum.
We need lots of help andsupport, and often we'll find
that in the relationships withthe embodied souls around us,

(11:00):
it's no accident when we wind upwith certain animals in our
family.
You think of all of the animalsout there in the world waiting
to be adopted who aren't in yourfamily right now.
And you think of the animalswho are in your family and look
back and even feel like, well,it's random how this animal or
that animal joined my family.

(11:21):
Well, it's not random, that istheir soul family in action,
activating here on the 3D earthplane, and the same thing holds
true for us.
So we have soul family membersof all different species.
Isn't that something fun tothink about?
And that would be a topic for awhole different episode.
But in this episode, I reallywant to focus us on ways that

(11:44):
you can meet and get to knowyour pet's power animal or
spirit guide, and the reason Iuse these terms loosely is
because these different guidesmay have slightly different
presentations or roles in youranimal's life, depending on what
they're here to work on, whatthey need to learn and what

(12:07):
they're here to teach, and I'llgive you examples of this in
just a minute, but you can useany terminology you like.
I like to call it the poweranimal guide because I feel like
one of One of the main roles ofthese master guides in our
pets' lives is to empower them,to encourage them, to inspire

(12:32):
them.
Whether we like to acknowledgeit or not, we human animals, we
pet parents, we can be achallenge to live with sometimes
.
Am I right or am I right?
I know I can be, and ouranimals need support.
They need help sometimes justto put up with us, let alone to
love us unconditionally the waythat they do, through all of our

(12:54):
ups and downs and through allof the choices that we make on
their behalf, without knowing oreven realizing.
We can ask them first and findout is this really what's best
for you?
And so often they just have toroll with our punches, so to
speak, and adapt and adjust.
So, yes, they're going to needsome support.

(13:15):
So that's why I like to think ofthis particular guide that
we're talking about today thataccompanies your animal
throughout their 3D incarnationand in between lives, and
through multiple incarnations aswell.
That's why I like to think ofthem like the pets power animal
guide.
Of course, the pets have toldme that when they come into our

(13:37):
world and they join our families, they are our partners,
empathic friends and teachers.
That, again, is a tall order.
So these are their power animalguides, who empower them and
encourage them and inspire themto teach us about partnership,

(13:58):
especially interspeciespartnership.
To teach us about empathy andhow it works and where we can
access it within us and how toreceive it.
A lot of us are really not toogreat at receiving love and
empathy as well, and they'realso our teachers, and that's
why we so often will sharesymptoms and we'll share issues.

(14:18):
We'll share emotional traumas,we'll share things with our
animals because they're tryingto lead us through those and
trying to teach us how to healby asking us to help them heal.
This is such a fascinating areaof exploration and
contemplation for me.
So today, what we're going totalk about specifically is not

(14:40):
whether your animal has a poweranimal guide, because they do,
but how you can get to know whoyour animal's power animal guide
is and maybe even get a glimpseof that relationship or how to
meet them.
Now you might be wondering toyourself well, why would my pet
allow me to get to know theirprivate, personal power animal

(15:02):
guide?
Again, it's not a given.
These are ideas that you canuse to approach and ask for an
invitation to meet your animal'spower animal guide.
Chances are good you will havean intuitive insight somewhere
along the way.
It might not happen immediately.
Our pets are mostly open tosharing every aspect of their

(15:25):
lives that we are interested inlearning about because of the
nature of their role in ourlives, the reason they come into
our lives, and when you thinkabout how many non-human animals
are embodied are incarnatedright now on this planet who
have no soul contract to spendmuch of any time with humans.

(15:45):
For me, it makes me reallyrealize how special our pets are
, because these are the smallsubsection of animals embodied
right now on this planet whospecifically have agreed to keep
company with us.
They have specifically agreedto spend time with us and to
open up their lives, theirhearts, their souls, even to us

(16:09):
to help us.
So they are on our light teamautomatically, and that's even
another reason why they wouldneed their own light team, right
?
But let's take a look at someways, and I'm going to share
stories from my own interspeciesfamily so you can get a sense
of how you might get hints fromyour animal directly about who

(16:34):
their primary power animal guideis and I just want to add a PS
to that before we dive intothese stories.
And then I give you the sixtips for how to take a look and
see if you can catch glimpses ofyour animal's power animal
guide.
I want to pause and say justbecause we're only talking about

(16:55):
a primary power animal guidedoes not mean this is the only
member of your animal's lightteam.
Your pet, like you, hasmultiple light team members and,
of course, if you want to learnmore about that, you can always
join me for AnimalCommunication Adventure to
Mastery and Practice Circle.
That's a great place to meetyour own light team and learn
more about them.

(17:15):
I just want to be clear.
We're not talking about meetingyour animal's whole light team.
We're not talking about youranimal only has one light team
member.
We're just talking about if aprimary, if not the primary
power animal guide who ispresent with your pet throughout
their incarnation, specificallywith you.

(17:35):
This may turn out to be youranimal's overarching master
teacher who is with them throughmulti-lifetimes and between
lives, or this may be a specificpower animal guide who has
stepped up to play a principalrole in your animal's life,
guiding them through thisincarnation with you.

(17:56):
So again, we're looking atreason, season and lifetime,
with lifetime being thatoverarching multi-lifetime and
season being this incarnationand a reason being somebody that
we might actually actively callin, and your animal can call in
specific light team members, just like you can, just like I
can.
So so much to ponder and explore.

(18:17):
It's hard to keep on track.
So I'm going to share storiesfrom my own interspecies family
about who they have shared withme as their primary power animal
guide, and each one of thesestories you'll notice that the
insight came to me in differentways.
So this is really fun becausethis will relate to the clues

(18:39):
that I'm going to give you forhow you can start to explore
this process with your own petfamily.
So I'm going to start with mysoul bird Petal, who's the
reincarnation of my soul birdPearl, of 24 years, who's the
reincarnation of my soul birdJacob, of three years, who's the
reincarnation of my originalsoul bird Perky, of 11 years.

(19:01):
So we've got a multi-lifetimesoul contract for this soul, who
I've now named Petal.
She actually chose her own nameand there's a whole episode on
that.
If you want to learn more abouthow Pearl reincarnated, back to
me as Petal and you can checkthat out.
But Petal because she came backto me as Pearl.

(19:22):
What I discovered when I wasexploring Petal's power animal
guide is there's been acarryover from Pearl, and so
what I've got here is a lifetimepower animal guide, and the
animal guide is the eagle, andthe way that this arose for me
was really fun.

(19:43):
Back in the day before Irealized I too could talk with
animals and I was hiring animalcommunicators.
I also was writing a book andrunning a popular pet blog
called Love and Feathers aboutmy relationship with my soul
bird, pearl, and one of therecurring themes in this blog
and in this blog which you canstill find on the internet I'm

(20:05):
not active there anymore, butit's loveandfeathersandshellscom
if you want it out.
The way that it worked is Iwould have these imaginary
conversations with Pearl in theform of short blog posts and
little cartoons, and I alwaysthought I was just making up
Pearl's side of the conversation.
At this point, and even when Iwrote the book which evolved out

(20:27):
of the blog, I thought I wasmaking up Pearl's end of the
conversation.
I was pretty dense and it tookme a long time to figure out
that Pearl's end of theconversation was Pearl's end of
the conversation.
It was really real, but one ofthe recurring themes was this
stuffed animal eagle toy thatPearl just loved and he took to
immediately and so this littlestuffed eagle toy featured

(20:51):
pretty prominently in a numberof the cartoons and a number of
the little short blog posts andhe became known for loving this
little eagle toy and they wereabout the same size.
So it was really cute if yousee these pictures and videos of
the two of them interacting.
And when I started to get moreinterested in animal totems,

(21:14):
that was when I started to putthe pieces together and I
started to think about thequalities of the eagle and even
the call of the eagle, the soundof the eagle and the way that
they call and the fact that theybond and mate for life and they
have these intenserelationships and intense

(21:36):
displays of affection andbonding and their position as
the apex at the top of the foodchain.
And there were so many otherexperiences that I had.
And then when I went to Alaska, actually getting to see a bald
eagle and having it molt out afeather right at my feet, it was

(21:59):
just incredible and undeniablethat my soul bird, pearl now
Petal has the master spiritguide of the eagle.
I didn't need to pull an oraclecard, I didn't need to go
scrounging around, I didn't needto use any of the other clues
that we're going to talk about.
All I needed to do was lookinto the legacy of my life with

(22:24):
Pearl and the experiences that Ihave had and the response that
Pearl gave to this particulartoy Very different.
We had lots of other stuffedanimals that Pearl enjoyed.
I even had little crochetedstuffed cockatiel toys.
Pearl was a cockatiel, in caseyou're not familiar that looked
just like him and they were justthe same size, and he was not

(22:46):
really interested in them.
He loved this little eagle andit became very, very clear to me
that the eagle is continuing towatch over Pearl, now Petal
continuing to infuse thosequalities, continuing to guide
and support, empower andencourage Pearl, and now Petal

(23:10):
as Pearl.
And so that was a pretty easyone actually for me to unpack.
Then I decided.
Next I was going to ask Malti,my 11-year-old red-footed
tortoise, who is her poweranimal guide.
I'm so curious about this andas I started exploring my

(23:33):
memories in my meditation I do alot of this work in meditation
so that I can place my brain inthat receptive alpha state where
I can access what I call theimagination to intuition pathway
Einstein and so many otherinventors and scientists and
creators have found so useful.

(23:54):
I figure if it works for them,it works for me.
So I love doing this work inalpha brainwave state and
meditation and even in thetasometimes and we'll talk about
that and I'm contemplating andI'm remembering a story of being
a student myself in one of theanimal communication classes
that I enrolled in as a studentand several of my students

(24:15):
communication classes that Ienrolled in as a student and
several of my students werepracticing with each other's
animals.
And we decide we're going topractice with my tortoise, malti
, and Malti tells not one, nottwo, but three of the other
students that she has a friendwho is an orange cat.
Luckily, this was a little lateron in my animal communication
learning journey and I knewbetter than to say that's not
correct.
She doesn't have any catfriends, we don't have a cat, et

(24:37):
cetera, et cetera.
Don't get me wrong.
I'd love to have a cat, butPetal doesn't want one.
And I said that's reallyinteresting.
I'll keep an eye out for that.
Well, wouldn't you know it?
The next two days I saw anorange feral cat hanging around
sitting on the fence above whereMalti has dug herself a nice
cozy summer mud wallow and Ithought, oh, I'm so glad I

(25:01):
didn't tell those students thatthey were wrong.
They were totally on it.
They got it.
I'm the one that was clueless.
And then I began to think backeven further and contemplate our
experiences and I rememberedliving in a house with three
orange cats.
They were all indoor-outdoorcats and one in particular.
I was warned about by thelandlord that this cat was very,

(25:24):
very stray and feral and tendsto be hissy and bitey.
Malty would walk right up tothis cat and the two of them
would just look at each other.
I never saw the cat make anyaggressive moves ever.
They would just look at eachother.
I never saw the cat make anyaggressive moves ever.
They would just look at eachother.
And then I moved to anotherhouse I used to move a lot and
there was an orange cat Yetagain.
Malty would walk right up tothe cat and just stare and I

(25:47):
would always run after Malty.
No wait, you're this littletiny baby hatchling.
She was not afraid.
She would just walk right upand they would just sit there
together.
I often joke that Malti is a catin a turtle shell.
She's so independent she knowsexactly what she wants.
When she wants it.
She keeps her own counsel.
She's very self assured, especially for one who is still

(26:09):
so young, especially in tortoiseyears.
And it just clicked especiallyin tortoise years.
And it just clicked.
Malti's spirit power animalguide is a cat.
Now the feeling that comesalong with this for me is that
the cat is Malti's power animalguide for this incarnation.
So here we'd be talking about aseason.

(26:30):
This is the particularempowerment and just grounding
and stability that Malti needs.
She had a very tumultuous lifewith me growing up.
She had a lot of healthchallenges.
We had a lot of physical moves,a lot of difficulties in my
life and she just had to weatherand navigate.
And she has been my rockliterally throughout and this

(26:55):
cat power animal guide, I feel, has given her the inner support
to be able to support me and bea rock for our little family.
Now let's turn our attention toAyo, my three
andand-a-half-year-old boxturtle.
Now Ayo is my beloved Bruce boxturtle, reincarnated through

(27:20):
soul walk-in, and I actuallyrecorded a two-part episode on
how that happened that you cancheck out and learn more about
that story and how amazing itwas.
You could have knocked me overwith a proverbial feather when I
realized what had just happened.
It was a crazy, crazy story anda dream come true.
And with Ayo, the insightsabout his power animal guide

(27:44):
came to me in yet a differentway.
It was a very internal feelingand also an almost dream time
experience, if you can believeit.
Watching the movie the Wizard ofOz.
When I was a girl, I used tolove that movie.
My mom was really strict aboutour TV time and we were always

(28:06):
allowed to watch that movie andI was always so struck by the
cowardly lion who just wanted aheart.
And when I contemplated andasked Io about his power animal
guide, suddenly I received avisual and almost a dreamtime
state, seeing the movie playingin my mind and hearing the

(28:31):
cowardly lion singing about.
If only he had a heart.
And what's so interesting isboth Bruce and Io and here again
I feel that we've got alifetime power animal guide,
because we're looking at a poweranimal guide who has persisted
now over Bruce's incarnation.
Then Bruce passed, came backinto Io's body.

(28:51):
Now is watching over Io.
They both have the samecoloration as a lion.
It's just wild.
Most box turtles are extremelycolorful and while Io is a
little bit more colorful thanBruce was, they both have this
sandy tan olive coloration andthey both have this same
come-closer-go-away personality,almost like they're trying to

(29:16):
find their courage and they'retrying to shore up their inner
stability.
You don't think about turtlesand tortoises normally as being
unstable or being shy or beingungrounded, and yet that has
been my experience as a lifelongturtle and tortoise lover and

(29:37):
keeper.
That has been my experiencewith both Bruce and Ayo.
Bruce, more than Ayo, brucereally paved the path for Ayo to
blossom.
So Ayo hasn't had it as hard asBruce did, but both of them.
Because it took two years forBruce to pass out of his body
before his soul became availableto walk in to Io's little body.

(29:59):
Io was with me for a couple ofyears.
That's a placeholder soulDidn't really have a
relationship with Io.
And once Bruce walked in, theshift was overnight so you can
listen to the podcast episodedoubleheader for more on that
but it was an overnight shift.
It was a very quick transitionfor Ayo to welcome Bruce's soul

(30:19):
and he's still growing up, sothere's a lot of need for
empowerment and encouragementand he so embodies that cowardly
lion personality.
So here we're actually pullingkind of a reference and a very
specific element of a young malelion's role and evolution and

(30:43):
needing to go and make his ownway in the world and create his
own family, and how challengingthat can be.
And that is exactly where bothBruce was when I first met him
and also where IO is right now.
So this is definitely theenergy that IO needs for inner

(31:04):
soul level support.
Now I want to talk about ourdachshund, flash Gordon, and
this is so interesting.
So Flash Gordon is a standardwire-haired dachshund, if you
are not familiar with my family, and he's 10 years old and he
has had quite a journey.
When he first came to ourfamily he bonded with my mom and

(31:28):
dad, so he's their dog, and Ikind of inherited him when my
father passed a couple years agoand I moved in here to help mom
with the house et cetera andjust be here with her, and so
I've inherited Flash Gordon andwe've had a bit of a journey
ourselves.
Our relationship I think it'sprobably most polite to say it's
complicated.

(31:48):
There is love at the core, butthere's lots of other
interesting things that haveunfolded and he was just very
closed down and so it's beenvery interesting having an
animal communicator in thefamily and on site, so to speak.
I've done a lot of energy work.
I've done a lot of healing workwith him.
We've had a lot of animalcommunication sessions, we've
had iridology sessions, we'vehad acupuncture massage, we've

(32:12):
had emotion code, body code, youname it.
Anytime somebody emails me andsays I'd love to donate a free
session to one of your animals,et cetera, et cetera.
You can try it out.
I'm like I've got the candidateright here.
So Flash has had a lot ofexperiences and he's opened up a
lot.
He used to be so shut down, hedidn't want to play, he didn't
want to cuddle or snuggle, hewas very food aggressive to the

(32:36):
point of biting seriously.
So we've really had a challenge.
And the one thing that Flashhas always loved and cannot get
enough of is lizards.
I kid you not.
The squirrels could come andsit on our porch and have a fine
dining experience and he willnot bother them.
In fact he'd probably join them.
But if he sees one of thoselittle brown or green lizards

(32:59):
running around, he will go nutstrying to get to it.
He doesn't ever hurt them, buthe will chase the crap out of
them and he's always beenfascinated with lizards.
So that was pretty easy tofigure out how Flash is
receiving support from thelizard archetype being small,

(33:20):
being quick, being flexible, being able to change your colors
for different situations, beingwatchful and curious but not
overly afraid.
And exploring, hunting aroundfor things, just enjoying life,
being a part of the world, notholding oneself apart from it.

(33:41):
So it was pretty easy in mymeditative state, to receive the
information about who Flash'spower animal guide is, and I
believe that this power animalguide is really for a reason.
So this is situational.
This is to help Flash movethrough this lifetime and evolve
from the very closed down, veryintroverted, very reserved.

(34:08):
Now he has just opened up somuch.
But there's also a PS to thisstory, because my mother's soul
dog was JP Morgan, who was alsoa standard dachshund, and when
JP transitioned I had a dreamthat Flash was going to come
into their family.
It was such a powerful dream ithappened before I knew I could

(34:32):
talk with animals and in thedream it was just after JP had
passed and I saw JP Morgan in mydream and then I saw this
little puppy with the exact, very unique coloration,
including a white splash on thechest that Flash Gordon has, and
it was so specific that Iactually went online and went
looking and found a little puppythat had this similar

(34:53):
coloration.
I printed it out for my parents, brought it over to their house
and said I think I had a dreamabout your next puppy.
Well, lo and behold, they hadreached out to JP Morgan's
breeder and when they showed methe picture of the puppy that
she wanted to place, it was theexact coloration.
And I realized that JP Morganhad come into my dream to tell

(35:16):
my parents yes, that's the puppy.
So of course we expected a verysimilar personality and that's
not at all what we got.
Jp was very calm, he lovedpeople, he had a huge circle of
friends.
He was so loving and loved tocuddle and just hang out.
And Flash was an unholy terror, very cut off, very reserved,

(35:37):
very aggressive.
It was the strangest experienceat the time.
We've since decoded why.
But JP was letting me know inthat dream that he is one of
Flash Gordon's power animalguides.
So you can sometimes detectthese threads, even if it's not

(35:57):
a reincarnation, because JP didnot reincarnate as Flash, but JP
is guiding Flash because overthe years he has become so like
JP, so different, so much more.
Now he has a huge circle offriends.
We just had a 10th birthdayparty for him and all of his

(36:17):
friends from the neighborhoodcame and drank wine and tried
slices of his pup cake.
So there's a clear relationshipthat's enduring over Flash's
lifetime and this comes throughas a seasonal power animal guide
.
So JP is with Flash throughoutthis lifetime.

(36:37):
More to be revealed about whatmight happen in future
incarnations, but clearly JP iswatching over Flash and
supporting him and helping himopen up.
So those are four stories frommy own personal pet family, just
to give you some insight intohow this information comes
through.
Now I want to give you some tipsfor how you can explore this

(37:02):
with your own pet or pets, ifyou have multiple pets in your
family.
The first one is to simplyfollow my example and whether
you do it in any kind of formalmeditation experience or you
prefer to do it when you're justdrifting off to sleep or you're
just waking up from beingasleep, you want to try to get

(37:24):
into that alpha brainwave statewhere you're floating a little
bit in between conscious leftbrain dominant awareness and
subconscious right braindominant awareness.
This is the right place to be,for inspiration to strike and if
you can place yourself in thatstate and just simply ask the

(37:47):
question who is my animal'spower animal guide?
And notice, get curious, wonder, see what arises.
That's the first step and thereason I say when you're just
waking up or you're just fallingasleep, that's another time
that you can hold the questionin your awareness quite
naturally, without feeling likeyou have to battle your left

(38:08):
brain mind.
It's always talking, talking, talking at you and telling you
what to do.
Now, if you want to take thatstep further, tip number two is
you can continue to hold thatquestion as you slide into theta
and even delta, which is thedream state and the deep sleep
state.
You'll notice in Ayo's story Ihad a dream time experience of

(38:33):
watching the Wizard of Oz.
So that is an example ofanother way that inspiration can
more easily reach you, especially if you're consciously
holding it in your awareness.
Who is, in my case, ayo's poweranimal guide?
So you can do this with yourown pet's name and just hold
that question into dream timeand be sure, when you wake up,

(38:56):
to say to yourself I remember mydreams and notice anything, and
if you can grab even a tinykernel or tidbit of anything you
remember, that will lead to thenext and the next and the next,
and that's a powerful dreamrecall technique you can use, as
we learned from Petal Pearl'sstory.
You can also take a look and seedoes your pet have a favorite

(39:18):
toy?
Is there one toy?
I remember one of my petclients little dog, who had this
big pink pig that she justfreaking loved and she just
wanted to go everywhere withthis big pink pig.
In Pearl's case it was thislittle stuffed evil toy.
Now our dachshund doesn't havea favorite toy, and neither do

(39:41):
Malty or Ayo.
So sometimes these can reallystand out, especially if you
maybe are living with a dog or acat or another animal, and
maybe multiple animals, and justone of your pets is obsessed
with a particular toy.
You can take a look for cluesthere.
Could that be this particularanimal's power animal guide in

(40:04):
plushie form or in chew toy form?
That's another fun way toexplore it.
And, as we learned from Flash'sstory and also Maltese's story,
you can look to your pet's wildenvironment and notice most dogs
are obsessed with chasingsquirrels.
Dogs that chase small,fast-moving objects.

(40:25):
Squirrels seems to be a reallypopular choice.
Not for Flash.
I don't know what he thinksthey are.
He's oblivious to them.
We'll stand in the yard andwe'll say Flash, squirrel, and
he doesn't go anywhere near them.
He's, what's the big deal?
I see it?
No big deal.
But we don't even have to sayanything for lizards and he's
off like a shot after them.
So you can look to youranimal's wild surroundings and

(40:48):
notice is there something, somesynchronicity, something that
draws your attention, especiallyif it's a little bit unusual
for the species or breed or it'sjust a little bit unusual in
your experience?
That could give you a clue togo and research the animal's
archetype and learn about someof the qualities as a teacher,

(41:08):
as a guide.
That's another tip.
I have an oracle card deck byColette Barron-Reed called the
Spirit Animal Oracle Deck and itwas given to me as a gift by a
dear friend when I was juststarting, just enrolling in my
first animal communicationlearning class, and I still use
it.
There are many wonderful carddecks and resources.

(41:30):
You can research it on theinternet if you prefer, but
that's a really good way is ifyou have a deck or even a
digital deck, and you can holdthe question in your mind who is
my pet's animal spirit guide orpower animal guide?
And then shuffle the cards andjust intuitively pull a card.

(41:51):
That might be the power animalguide your pet has for a reason.
So just situational, a season, just this incarnation or a
lifetime, and that's theoverarching life between lives
and multiple incarnations.
And either way, you can feelinto it further and further and
you can explore it, but juststart learning about some

(42:11):
qualities and characteristics ofthat animal and then finally
this is a really fun one you canask yourself if your pet wasn't
their species and breed, whatanimal do they most remind you
of?
I have so often joked that mytortoise, malti, is a cat.
So it was right there in frontof my face for so many years and

(42:35):
I just didn't realize what Iwas looking at.
I didn't realize that the cat,the feline, that archetype is
all over her soul print isclearly an aspect of her
evolving personality.
So if you are living with a dogwho's cat-like, or a bird who

(42:56):
thinks they're a turtle, or acat who behaves more like your
childhood rabbit, those areplaces to look for the kinds of
qualities that your pet may beunfolding in their personality,
in their life.
Maybe these are qualities notborrowed but absorbed through

(43:19):
contact with another animal'sarchetype and species imprint to
give them a more well-roundedexperience in life to help them
over, maybe, some internalemotional hurdles.
To help them open up, in Ayo'scase, the archetype of the lion,
to help him be braver.

(43:40):
He doesn't seem to know fromone moment to the next whether
he's being bold or he's beingscared, and so it's so easy to
see how borrowing the energy orjust absorbing some of the
energy of the lion archetype ishelping him feel more at ease
and safe in his environment.

(44:01):
So please give these tips a tryOne more time.
Here are the tips in order.
You can ask in an alpha state, either in meditation or as
you're slipping into or out ofsleep, who is my animal's power,
animal guide, and see whatarises.
You can continue to hold thatquestion as you fall asleep and
enter the theta state or eventhe delta state and then, when

(44:24):
you wake up in the morning, sayto yourself I remember my dreams
and grab any little tidbit andfollow that thread.
You can notice if your pet hasa favorite toy, especially an
obsessive favorite, especiallyone that maybe you're just not
familiar with, your animal'sspecies liking that kind of toy
or liking toys or your otheranimals don't seem to have a

(44:48):
preference, anything that juststands out in your awareness.
You can follow that archetypefurther.
You can work with an animalspirit guide oracle card deck or
digital deck and pull a cardand explore more.
You can notice the wild animalsthat are in your animal's near
space.
You can notice, for instance,if your dog chases lizards

(45:11):
instead of squirrels, or if yourturtle seems to be good friends
with every orange cat she evermeets, and just notice any
synchronicities that stand outto you and you can ask yourself,
if my pet wasn't their speciesor breed, what species or breed
do they most remind me of?

(45:31):
And you can explore that alittle bit more too, to gain
some insight and be patient withthis.
You can try multiple differenttips or techniques.
You can play with this.
The goal is to be lighthearted,to have a light, playful,
curious, creative energy, to tapinto that imagination, to

(45:52):
intuition, right brain, dominantsubconscious pathway through
which all wonderful new ideasand inventions flow.
