Shannon Cutts (00:00):
Hi Shannon here,
Welcome to Let's Talk to Animals
, the podcast all species canenjoy together, and today, for
our inaugural episode of 2025, Iwant to dive deeper into a
topic that has become one of thehallmarks of my animal
communication practice the workI do one-on-one with you, the
(00:22):
pet parent, and so this episoderepresents me taking you behind
the scenes, letting you knowwhat it's like to work with a
pet parent, one-to-one, to helpwelcome your pet back through
the joyful reunion of petreincarnation.
So there is an element offrequently asked questions to
(00:43):
this podcast episode.
There's also an element of myever evolving understanding of
what it's really like and someof the elements that need to be
in place when you are seekingthat joyful reunion with your
pet and spirit through petreincarnation.
(01:05):
So I want to start with talkingabout pet reincarnation.
What does that phrase mean?
It means, as with all of us, weget this groovy 3D spacesuit
that allows us to navigate inthis 3D earth, this physical
realm, and fortunately orunfortunately these spacesuits
(01:26):
have a limited shelf life, theyhave an expiration date, and so
when that happens and the bodyis no longer a comfortable,
healthy, safe or habitable placefor the soul to live.
The embodied spirit is the soul.
Then that means that we need topass out of the physical body
(01:48):
and we go back home.
We go back to the soul side ofthe soul dimension, or the
spirit dimension, however youprefer to regard it, and during
that period of time, oftenthere's an opportunity or
invitation to return in a newbody for a new set of adventures
, and so that's what we'retalking about when I talk about
pet reincarnation, when I usethat phrase and others may have
(02:11):
a different meaning ordefinition, but when I use that
phrase that's what I'm talkingabout a pet has passed out of a
physical body that was no longerserving them for whatever
reason, or maybe they had atraumatic accident or something
happened and they needed toleave their physical body.
They go back to the spiritdimension, which is their real
home, and then, through a seriesof events, that pet will choose
(02:34):
to reincarnate, to come backinto a new 3D physical body.
So that's what we're startingtoday Pet reincarnation,
physical body.
So that's what we're startingtoday Pet reincarnation what is
it and how does it really work?
So the first thing that I wantto share with you is that pet
reincarnation is part of a soulagreement or a soul contract.
(02:55):
Now, what do I mean by that, asoul agreement or a soul
contract?
And there's many different ways, there's many different phrases
that are used to describe it,but that basically refers to the
miracle of you and your animalfinding one another once you're
both in your 3D spacesuits andyour physical bodies, and there
are cues and signals set up inadvance that helped you to find
(03:23):
one another again, advance thathelped you to find one another
again.
Otherwise, with the millionsand millions of humans and
millions upon millions ofanimals in this world, how on
earth would we ever cross pathsand meet, let alone recognize
one another and opt in to spendour lives together?
So that's the soul agreement, and what happens on the soul
(03:43):
side is that we agree to meetand there are benefits for both
parties to learn and grow inorder to do that, and then, when
we're in our physical bodies,we recognize one another, feel
like that's the one for me, or Ijust feel like I've known you
(04:04):
forever, or when our eyes met, Ijust felt a click, and so
that's the soul agreement or thesoul contract activating.
So the next thing to know aboutpet reincarnation, especially
when the pet is returning again, and there tends to be a lot of
anxiety, and I've been throughit one, two, three, four, five
(04:25):
times now, so four with the sameanimal and one with a different
animal, and you can check outsome of the other episodes of
Let's Talk to Animals if youwant to learn more about my
experiences of welcoming myreincarnated pets back to me
through pet reincarnation.
But what you need to know, andwhat most pet parents really
(04:46):
struggle with, is that it's nota linear process, just like when
you and your pet met the firsttime with one of my pets, miss
Petal, who's hiding by thecomputer right now she's back
with me for the fourth time.
So it's always felt like amiracle.
It's never felt linear orlogical, and if she returns to
(05:07):
me again, it still won't feellinear or logical.
And yet there's a certain logicto it.
There's a certain order to petreincarnation that is just good
to keep in mind.
Pet reincarnation requires us tobe willing to step outside our
(05:29):
comfort zone, to learn and grow,to develop our intuitive
abilities.
We all have them, and so that'sthe part that so many pet
parents can wrestle with.
It's like.
But how will I know and whatare all the signs?
And should it be this breederor that rescue center, or what
(05:51):
should I do first and next?
And we're going to get intothat.
But you just need to know goingin, that if you say yes, if you
sign up for the adventure thatI call the joyful reunion of pet
reincarnation, then you justhave to know going in that it's
not a logical process and youare going to need to be willing
(06:12):
to at least try to tap in maybeto some abilities, maybe to some
sensory experiences thatperhaps you haven't been open to
before, perhaps you haven'tbelieved in them, perhaps you
have experiences in your past ofsomebody telling you oh, you're
just not intuitive, perhapsyou've just never thought of
(06:33):
yourself that way, perhaps youjust have a lot of grief and
anxiety that's blocking you, andso there is a process and an
order to it, but it's not alogical process.
I've worked with some petparents who really, really
struggle with that and theyreally want go to this street
corner at 4 PM on a Thursday andlook for a woman in a brown
(06:55):
trench coat, and in myexperience at least, that is not
how it is has unfolded for meand for the pet parents I've
worked with who have beensuccessful in reuniting with
their soul pets in their newbodies.
There are going to be someelements, however, that you
absolutely can control, andthere is a certain order to it,
as I mentioned, and the firststep in the process is that the
(07:19):
pet is going to need you to ask.
They want to know that you wantthem back, and this is such a
beautiful and heartfelt, verypersonal experience.
I've worked with a pet parentthis past week who really wants
to welcome her soul cat back, and yet her beautiful, open
heart recognizes how the 3Dphysical life and being in a
(07:42):
body can be challenging, especially for a very evolved
soul such as a soul pet, and soshe was struggling a little bit
with actually asking her cat tocome back, because she didn't
want her cat to have to strugglein that way or deal with having
to get old and die and pass outof the physical body again, and
(08:03):
what her cat really wanted toknow was just that she really
wanted her back.
The cat wasn't worried aboutgetting old or having to pass
out of a physical body.
She just wanted to know thather person really, really,
really, really with all theirheart wanted her back and then
it was like a heck.
(08:23):
Yes, and that's also becauseit's not a self-exact to invite
your soul pet back.
Yes, there are some challengesthat come along with having a
physical body, and we all gothrough them, but there are also
lots of things that make thosestruggles more than worth it,
and our pets feel the same way.
And often our pets also get thechance to learn and grow.
(08:44):
They get the chance to be ofservice to us and they know
about their impact in our lives.
And that's why, when I went tothe pet collective and I said
why do we have this special namefor you?
Why do we call you our pets, the animals who have decided
that they are going to come intotheir 3D bodies and live in
close company with humans, whydo we call you pets?
(09:07):
What does that mean?
I don't like the dictionarydefinition for it, so I'd really
love to hear it from you.
And they told me that we areyour partners, your empathic
friends and your teachers.
So imagine the joy of being apet who comes back into a body
and truly has the opportunity toreally make a difference, to
(09:32):
serve, to learn, to uplift thevibration of the planet to do
their good work, to evolve as anempath, as a teacher, a mentor,
a guide, to share thoseintimate private moments yes,
even our weird, quirky littleones that nobody else knows
about and to be privy to theinmost life of another being.
For our pets, that is wellworth any of the issues that may
(09:52):
come along with having aphysical body to deal with, and
so they really want to hear fromus.
So your soul pet in spirit, iswaiting for an invitation,
especially in this culture.
If you think about justdropping by somebody's home,
that's nice, that can be a nicesurprise, but isn't it just so
(10:13):
lovely and loving to feelsingled out and invited?
It makes you feel so special,so appreciated, so seen and
acknowledged and loved to beinvited.
And so, if that's somethingthat you haven't done yet,
perhaps you're listening to thispodcast episode and you're
(10:36):
curious about pet reincarnation.
Maybe this is the first timeyou're really taking a look at
the possibility.
Maybe you're still on the fenceabout whether you even believe
it's something that can happen,or maybe you're all in and
you're not sure why you feelstalled out.
This is where we start.
Let your animal know, let yourspirit pet know I want you to
(10:58):
come back with all my heart.
I miss you.
I love you.
Life is just better when you'rein it.
I can't wait to see you againand will you please come back to
me.
That is always where we need tostart.
So that part of the process isa little bit logical if you
think about it.
So it's not totally not linear.
(11:19):
It's logical that your animalis going to want to know,
because it does take an effort,it does take some logistical
coordination, it does take aheart gift and a real
expenditure of energy, and sothey really want to know that it
will be worth it and that youreally, really, really want them
back.
The second thing that I reallywant to highlight and this is
(11:40):
one that my pet parent clientscan also struggle with sometimes
is that it's not necessarily, there's not a set timeline, and
this can be because the animalneeds some time in the spirit
dimension to replenish, torefill, to reconnect with their
soul family on the spirit side,to unpack their life experiences
(12:05):
.
It can be sometimes because we,the humans, have some moving
parts in our lives and we needto get our ducks in a row before
we are in a place, a reallyhealthy, open, expansive place
to welcome our soul pet back.
Sometimes it's for both reasonsand there's also an undeniable
(12:26):
grief what I call a grief stormthat we as humans need to move
through, especially because formost of us, we're so up in our
heads and we're so cerebralabout nearly everything in life
that when our pets die, whenthey transition out of their
physical body and we no longerhave their body to prove that
they're with us, we reallystruggle to believe they still
(12:48):
exist, we struggle to feel theirpresence.
And we are also strugglingagainst this, what I call a
firestorm of grief that hits thephysical body, with all the
chemical and hormonalinteractions and the cortisol
levels that our body is pumpingout and the overnight change in
identity.
When we're really bonded withsomeone else and suddenly their
(13:10):
physical presence is no longerthere.
It's like everything about ourday, everything about our
routine, everything about ourlife is suddenly upended and it
can take a bit of time for thisfirst firestorm of grief to pass
.
And this is not perhaps theoptimal moment to invite our pet
back.
When this little one came backto me, when she first let me
(13:33):
know she was coming back to me,she was a he at the time.
You can go back and listen tothe episode where I really
unpack what happened and exactlyhow it unfolded.
But I was in such a firestormof grief because my soul bird
Pearl's passing was completely.
It caught me by surprise, itblindsided me.
I just did not see it coming, even though he was 24, I did not
(13:55):
see it coming and I wasabsolutely blindsided.
And yet I guess, because I haveall of this training and I'm a
professional animal communicator, that very afternoon he was
able to break through to me andlet me know I'm coming back.
In fact what he said was I'mrushing back, I will be a
(14:15):
ladybird this time, my name willbe Petal and he showed me a
picture of an all yellow, whatwe call a lutino mutation color
mutation, an all yellow, what wecall a lutino mutation color
mutation, an all yellow bird.
And I really unpack those cluesand what they meant to me more
in the episodes here on let'sTalk to Animals where I talk
specifically about our story.
(14:35):
But in most cases, and certainlyin the case of the most recent
reincarnated pet who's come backto me, and that is Bruce, my
beloved rescued box turtle, whocame back to me through a soul
walk-in into my young box turtle, ayo, who's three years old.
Well, I was in so much grieffor such a long period of time
(14:56):
because, bruce, initially wewere separated when he went
missing.
I was never able to recover himand so I have been sitting in
this place, this kind of limbospace where I just didn't alive
and out in the wild, and I didnot realize that he had passed
(15:20):
into spirit until I got very, very sick not too long ago and I
reached out to him and that iswhen he let me know that he had
passed to spirit and within acouple of days it was very
evident that he'd come backthrough a soul walk-in into
little Ayo's body.
And I also share that story inthe very last two-parter episode
of 2024.
So you can go back and findthat to learn more about it.
(15:42):
But here we've got two verydifferent timelines and in the
same way, in some of the petparent situations where I'm
working with a pet parentone-on-one and we're calling
their animal back through thejoyful reunion of pet pet parent
one-on-one and we're callingtheir animal back through the
joyful reunion of petreincarnation, the timeline is
fairly immediate and it's a veryquick turnaround and usually
(16:03):
that is because the pet parent'slife is relatively stable and
they are moving through theirfirestorm of grief and they're
doing the things, the thingsthat I recommend, the things
that grief specialists recommendgetting plenty of movement,
getting plenty of water, gettingplenty of rest, feeling their
emotions as they come up andsubside and riding those waves
(16:27):
and being honest and stayingconnected, and that really helps
with this initial firestormthat just needs to run its
course.
This is part of being in aphysical body, and so they're
doing all the things and they'revery open to the process itself
and they are also still veryconnected.
(16:48):
And often these are moreintuitive souls as well who are
very connected not always, butoften they are more intuitive
and so they're already open tothat internal ways.
But often they are moreintuitive and so they're already
open to that internal, thatinterfacing dialogue with the
soul of their pet, who is thereal being, and so sometimes we
can see a really quickturnaround.
In other cases the animal maysay check back with me in a year
(17:11):
.
Or I talked with a dog a fewdays ago who said, not now, but
within three years, I may beopen to it.
So there can be an element oftimeline involved, depending on
where that person is, dependingon where that pet is.
(17:31):
And often that's where someonelike myself, a professional
animal communicator and a petreincarnation specialist, can
come in handy, if you will, toend with a conversation and kind
of get a little bit of a vibecheck, maybe even just a second
opinion, especially if you'revery intuitive.
The woman that I just talkedabout, whose cat was eager to be
(17:52):
invited back, she had alreadyfelt intuitively that her cat
was open to it and she just hadthis deep, open heart saying I
want what's best for you, isthis what you want?
And so they were in thisstalemate of like the cat was
waiting to be invited and thepet parent was saying, well, I
don't want to do that If that'sgoing to place hardship on you
(18:14):
or cause you to endure morestruggle.
And so it was just a little bitof a stalemate.
I was able to come in to themix and help these two really
have a productive conversationwith one another.
It can also be helpful if you'restill in that firestorm of
grief and you're just not in aposition, in a place emotionally
, mentally, physically, whereyou are open, where you can hear
(18:35):
it.
I was able to hear Pearl rightaway, because I have the
skillset and this training.
Not everybody does and noteverybody is called to it,
although, certainly, if this issomething that you want to learn
, you absolutely can, and I loveteaching and I would love to
invite you to join in AnimalCommunication Adventure, which
is my signature student program,in Animal Communication
(18:57):
Adventure Practice Circle, whichis my signature student program
, and animal communicationadventure practice circle, which
is where my students sharpenand improve their skills in a
small group environment.
So there's that that's alwaysavailable.
However, I don't necessarilyrecommend that you dive into
learning animal communicationwhen you're in the full throes
of the firestorm of grief either, because you need time, you
(19:19):
need some time, you need someself-care, you need some quiet
time, you need to move, to drinkwater, to breathe, breathe,
breathe.
Get that lymphatic systemmoving and then we can visit the
topic of what it might looklike to invite your animal to
reincarnate to you in a new bodyfor a new set of adventures.
(19:40):
Another question that petparents often have for me is the
problem of maybe not being in agreat situation or a great
position to adopt a very younganimal.
So there's this misconceptionthat the only way that pet
reincarnation can happen is ifyou're bringing a puppy or a
foal or a kitten or a babyparrot or a baby turtle.
(20:06):
And while not all animalintuitives agree with me on this
, I personally have helped otherpet re-enter their parents'
lives through soul walk-ins,which what that means in my
world is that behind the scenes, the soul of the animal whose
body is to be inhabited isneeded somewhere else or is
(20:27):
willing to go somewhere else tovacate, essentially to allow a
new animal's soul to enter.
And that is what happened withAyo, my box turtle, when Bruce's
spirit entered Ayo's body.
And that was really interesting.
There's another woman that Ihelped who had no capacity.
(20:48):
She was an older lady and shehad some stuff going on and she
just didn't have the capacity tocare for a young, rambunctious
puppy.
And so she came to me wanting asession, wanting to ask if it
would be possible for herbeloved soul dog to come back to
her in the form of an adult.
(21:09):
And if you search back in myblog archives for Chief's story,
may I Take your Order andGracie's story I'm a Pirate Mom.
Those are the blog post titles.
You can learn more about whatthat looked like in her specific
situation.
Chief was a beautiful ShermanShepherd and that's what he
(21:32):
called placing your order, andso I work with many pet parents
who need to place their order, whether it's an order for when
their pet is going toreincarnate, in what life stage
their pet is going toreincarnate, in what size body
their pet is going toreincarnate.
This can be especiallyimportant for pet parents who
(21:55):
are calling their soul dogs backand in certain areas, certain
breeds or certain size animalsare prohibited, so it can be
very important to get thesedetails right so that that
joyful reunion can take place.
So, having said that, timelinescan be fluid and it's important
(22:18):
to keep in mind that if you'relistening to this and you're
thinking, wow, I would love tohave my soul pet come back to me
, but I'm about to move or I'mabout to get married, or I
talked with one woman whose doghad passed and she was caring
for an infant and it just wasn'tthe right moment.
(22:39):
Just understand that.
That is okay, it's absolutelyfine.
It just helps to be very clearwhat works for me versus this
just really isn't going to be agood situation.
So we don't want to ask oursoul pet to come back if the
(23:00):
conditions are not suitable forus to rekindle our bond.
And that brings up anotherreally interesting point that I
actually didn't even have on myhit list but I just want to
touch on it which is, eventhough our soul pet is going to
come back to us and I've alsotalked about this a little bit,
which is probably why I didn'tput it on the hit list for this
(23:21):
episode, but I've talked aboutthis a little bit in other
episodes on pet reincarnationPet reincarnation is not the
same as pet cloning and that canreally throw us off, especially
if this is your first timecalling your soul pet back to
you in a new body, especially ifyou don't consider yourself
particularly intuitive and youquestion or doubt or fear that
(23:43):
you will not recognize and oract on the signs.
It can be very disconcertingwhen you're looking for a pet
who does not look and actexactly like your pet who has
passed.
And yet it is very rare yes, there are stories, absolutely,
but it is very rare that youranimal reincarnate into a body
(24:05):
and personality and temperamentthat exactly matches the one
they just vacated.
Why?
Because you are not the sameperson you were when you
originally met.
You have learned and grownsince then.
They are not the same personyou were when you originally met
.
You have learned and grownsince then.
They are not the sameindividual they were when the
two of you first met.
They have learned and grownsince then, and nobody comes
(24:29):
back into a physical body ifthey don't have more learning,
growing and serving to do, andwhat that means is often we need
sometimes small tweaks in ourtemperament or personality, our
body, sometimes even our species.
Sometimes we need big tweaks inorder to keep learning and
growing, and so this should beexpected.
(24:51):
Even pet cloning often does notdeliver an exact duplicate.
It is not possible.
We are each as unique as ourfingerprint or our claw print or
our paw print or our nose printor our hoof print or our fin
print or our shell imprint.
We are each as unique as asnowflake.
(25:13):
There is no ability to exactlycopy and repeat what has already
been created, and so this needsto be expected.
You are not looking forsomething that's such a slam
dunk that there's going to be abig red arrow going.
This one here.
This is a subtle process, andagain, it is a process that
(25:35):
invites soul level awakening.
So, having worked with petparent clients who are very
logical and very analytical andreally want that kind of big red
arrow and a sign on the petsaying I am the one that you've
been looking for.
This process at least the waythat I help and assist pets and
(25:57):
their people to find one anotherthat doesn't tend to work out
so well.
Because it's really aninvitation for you to recognize
that you are an intuitive soulin a physical body.
You have abilities, you havevibes, you have instincts that
maybe you're just starting tobecome aware of and, as your
(26:19):
partner, empathic friend andteacher, one of the reasons that
your soul pet would be willingand even eager to come back in a
new body is to help you evolve,to help you raise the vibration
of the planet and in your ownlife.
Because once you start torealize how intuitive you are
(26:41):
and how you've been gettingvibes and signals and signs and
deep gut knowings all along, somany new possibilities open up.
That is why I'm constantlytelling my students animal
communication, if you allow it,can be the hands-down best
self-development program youwill ever find, because the more
(27:06):
we clear our own traumas, themore we clear our own wounds,
the more we work with our ownmind and open and become humble
and empty our cup so we canlearn and grow.
The more we learn and grow, themore powerful we become, the
more we recognize whatmanifesting really is, what it
really takes, how to really doit, and we get the proof that it
(27:30):
really works.
And so if you're entering thepet reincarnation process and
you just want your pet back andyou don't want to do any work,
and you don't want to do anywork and you don't want to open
up and you don't want to eventry to challenge maybe what
you've been told about yourselfor what you believe about
yourself that I'm not intuitive,I can't do this unless I have
(27:51):
step A and A1 and A2 and B andB1 and B2, it's not going to
work well for you, and so Iwould steer you away from this
type of process, this journey ofjoyful reunion.
This is about mutual awakeningand truly allowing your pet to
be your guide, your teacher, your empathic friend, your
(28:15):
partner in growing, evolving, recognizing that we keep company
with an animal.
We get about as close to thedefined frequency, the universal
vibration.
This is the highest vibrationsignal we can tune to and it
(28:36):
will change us if we let it.
And so for those of us whodon't want to be changed and we
just want what we want.
This process doesn't work sowell, but the pet parents who
are open to it have some amazing, freaking stories.
I worked with one pet parentwho was calling her soul dog
(28:59):
back and she actually wasstruggling a little bit with her
intuition, but her youngdaughter was incredibly
intuitive and she would comeback to me and say my daughter
had a dream and this is how ourpuppy is going to come back to
us.
And it was so clear that thispuppy was going to be able to
(29:21):
send very clear signs andsignals through her young
daughter, who was totally opento it.
And I told this mom.
I said you'd be sure to takeyour daughter with you when you
go visit the litter of puppies.
We'd identified a specificbreeder, we'd identified a
specific litter of puppies and Isaid you be sure to take your
(29:42):
daughter because she will knowwho your puppy is.
I'm getting chills even as Isay it, and so don't be afraid
to invest your energy in askingfor other humans to come
alongside.
If you have a friend who is veryintuitive, if you have a
partner or a child or a parentor a sibling who's highly
(30:03):
intuitive, ask them to partnerwith you and ask them to
shepherd you and help you andvibe, check you and guide you
into where do my vibes live inmy body?
And of course, we talk aboutthat side of animal
communication adventure as wellwhat I call your IOS, your
(30:23):
intuitive operating system.
We all have one.
Just like we all have our outerfacing senses, we all have our
inner facing senses, and that isanother reason why learning
animal communication and justbeing exposed to it and being a
part of it is such a greatself-development program because
nobody ever tells us this stuff.
(30:43):
We don't learn about our iOS inbiology class or psychology
class.
Even we don't even learn aboutit in communications class.
The most we're ever told isusually oh, there's verbal
communication and nonverbalcommunication.
We don't get much more thanthat.
Why, why not?
(31:05):
We need this stuff, and itallows us to build such
beautiful, remarkable, intuitivelives.
And so this is the process.
If you are curious, eager evento find out what all these bells
and whistles that you've beengiven can do, are designed to do
(31:27):
, were given to you to do, thengoing through the reincarnation
process with a beloved soul petis a great way to wake up and to
open up to all that you'recapable of.
Now.
The next thing I want to talkabout and this can be the tough
part too is that there's acertain part of the journey
(31:47):
where someone like me can comealongside you and shepherd you
and help you connect with yoursoul, pet and vibe, check you
and find out some informationabout when and where and how and
who and if and all of thosegood details that we want and
need to know.
But there's also a part of thejourney where you will be on
(32:11):
your own.
Now I am and forgive if thisisn't you, but I am such a Star
Wars geek and have been since Iwas a little girl and there's
this part in the second of theoriginal movies, the Empire
Strikes Back, where LukeSkywalker, the budding Jedi,
goes to study with Yoda and thenhe finds out his friends are in
(32:32):
trouble and Yoda says if youleave now, in the middle of your
training, and you go to helpyour friends, I can't help you
and you'll be going alone.
And that is not said to scareyou, but just understand.
There's a point in everystudent's development where they
need to take their first wobblysteps on their own.
And what does that do?
(32:52):
It keeps us humble andrecognizes there's still a lot
more for me to learn, and italso keeps us confident that we
have already learned so much.
Keeps us confident that we havealready learned so much.
So we always have more to learn, but we've also already learned
a lot more than we canrecognize.
There will be a moment that youwill need to make the final
decision, and I can even comealongside you and vibe check you
(33:17):
all the way up until the momentyou say yes.
But you say yes on your own.
You sign on the dotted line onyour own.
I do too, we all do.
And so, again, for those of uswho are more literal and logical
and analytical and I just wantto make sure that I'm doing it
right and we are in the habit, perhaps, of maybe giving our
power or authority away toothers because we just haven't
(33:40):
developed self-trust yet this isthe place where we need to
start developing self-trust.
I was in that place for manyyears myself, just convinced
that somebody else would knowbetter than me about just about
everything.
And the truth is, when it comesto recognizing and committing
to your soul pet, there isnobody who's more qualified than
you.
There's no one else who canfill those shoes.
(34:02):
You are the only one who hasthe qualifications to do it, and
so you must be willing torecognize this part.
For this phase of the journey,I go alone.
It's part of your intuitivedevelopment, and it can be a
little scary, but that is okay.
As one of my favorite mentors, albert Einstein, said, we have
(34:23):
two ways to live life.
One way is as if nothing is amiracle.
The other way is as ifeverything is a miracle.
When I heard that quote, Idecided I'm going to choose
everything is a miracle.
I'm choosing option B.
When you are willing, youbecome willing, no matter how
much you're shaking or quakingor anxious or second guessing
yourself.
When you are willing, youbecome willing, no matter how
much you're shaking or quakingor anxious or second guessing
(34:44):
yourself.
When you are willing to stepout and walk that part of the
path alone and let your yes beyes and let your signature stand
for itself.
When you point you say I wantthat one, then you are choosing
the path of everything in lifeis a miracle.
You are choosing the path ofeverything in life is a miracle,
and what happens next cannothelp but unfold in your favor.
(35:13):
That is exactly what happenedto me with my petal.
If you've listened to the storyhere on, let's Talk to Animals
about what happened when it wastime for me to say yes to petal,
I still did not know that Petalwas a girl and the DNA test had
gotten lost, and that was oneof the four clues that Pearl had
given me for how to recognizehim again.
(35:33):
I didn't know if this bird wasa girl and the only way to tell
at that time was a blood test, and the blood test had gotten
lost in the mail.
So I had to say yes, I had toput down my money, I had to sign
on the dotted line, I went topick Petal up and I didn't know.
(35:55):
Well, not even a week after Isaid yes to Petal, the results
came back and we found outpetal's a girl.
So sometimes it doesn't matterhow much experience you have.
We are going to be challenged, because that is the whole point
is to expand us, to grow us.
(36:16):
Our pets cannot partner with us.
They cannot help us develop ourempathy and our intuition and
our compassion.
They cannot teach and guide usif we are not willing to step
outside of our comfort zone andwalk a new path.
So that is part of this process, at least the way that it has
(36:37):
been explained to me from allthe animals I've helped and my
own soul animals who havereincarnated to me, and at least
how I have seen it unfold.
I never hit record on one ofthese episodes with the
intention to share.
This is the way that it is.
No, there are many ways that itcan be and this may not
(36:59):
resonate with you, and that isokay.
There are many, many paths thatlead us to home, but this is
the way that works.
That has worked for me andworks for the pet parents that
I've successfully helped andleaves us so much braver,
(37:20):
stronger, wiser, humbler, moregrateful and more connected, not
just to our soul pets butwithin ourselves, and we could
have ever dreamed possible.
And that is why I continue downthis path and I keep learning
and I keep growing and I learnedsomething new, and then I get
(37:41):
to share it with you, and so ifthis does resonate with you,
then I invite you to head overto animallovelanguagescom
backslash connect or just hitthe little schedule button and
let's talk with your soul petand spirit.
We can even talk with your petbefore they transition and find
out what their plans are Now.
(38:01):
This is something else to keepin mind.
Not all pets reincarnate andthere are reasons for that.
But I have yet to talk with asoul pet who does not plan to
reincarnate and discover therewasn't already another plan in
place for a new animal companionfor my pet parent client.
(38:23):
Often it's a member of theirsoul pets soul family, somebody
they are specifically sending, who is absolutely perfectly
placed to guide them and partnerwith them and love them
unconditionally for the next legof their journey.
So if your soul pet shares thatthey are not planning to
(38:45):
reincarnate and just keep inmind that every animal
communication conversation is asnapshot in time so just because
your animal says not now, itdoesn't necessarily mean not
ever.
But I have yet to talk withsoul soul pet who says I am not
planning to reincarnate, whodoes not provide two things One,
(39:07):
their reason, and it's always agood one and two, a plan that
is already in place for a newanimal companion for my pet
parent client.
And often that animal is amember of their soul family or a
mentee of theirs who has beenhand picked for them with total,
(39:27):
unconditional love.
So there's always going to begood news.
There's always a good reason toreach out and have that
conversation Now.
Finally, even though we'vetouched on it here earlier and
I've definitely discussed it inother episodes, especially the
episodes that feature how mysoul bird, pearl, came back to
(39:51):
me as Miss Petal pet.
Parent clients often wonderwell, if this is so intuitive
and it's not really a logical ora linear or an analytical
process, well then, how on eartham I supposed to find my soul
pet again?
This is a big, wide world outthere.
There's lots of animals in thisworld, and what I have learned
is that our soul pet will primethe pump, so to speak.
(40:13):
We get a little packet of cluesFor me.
I got four very succinct clues.
That happened Boom, boom, boom,boom.
I heard immediately I'm rushingright back to you.
I'm going to be a girl birdthis time.
My name's going to be Petal, and I saw an image of an all
yellow cockatiel.
Now Petal here, you can see, isnot an all yellow cockatiel, so
(40:36):
that really confused me for awhile, until Petal's breeder
sent me a photograph of Petal asa little tiny chick sitting
next to her surrogate mom.
Well, guess what color hersurrogate mom was Pale, all
yellow, looked exactly like thepicture that Pearl had sent me.
(40:59):
And if you're not familiar, petal that Pearl had sent me.
And if you're not familiar, petal, my little one right here,
big little baby right here, wasborn out of season, and her egg
was found.
The breeder found her egg anddid not know who had laid it,
and so she popped the egg underthe bum of her most experienced
hen, and that hen happened to bethe pale, yellow, lutino color
(41:23):
that Pearl had showed me in thatimage.
So the clues do line up, butthey don't always line up in the
order that we want them to orin the timeline that we want
them to, and that is also partof the process.
And so when I work with you, when you schedule a session, and
(41:44):
you say I want to talk with mysoul, pet, about coming back to
me for a new set of adventures, coming back for a joyful reunion
through pet reincarnation, typically this is what we get.
I don't get the exactgeophysical coordinates of what
street corner you're supposed tomeet on.
I'll get a little packet ofclues.
(42:04):
Sometimes those clues reallyline up for you right away too,
and you may even find thatsomewhere in the back of your
mind, somewhere in your gut, youalready knew.
Sometimes, if you're very newto an intuitively guided life,
that may all be a big surpriseto you, and that is fine too,
and we can have as many sessionsas we need to keep you on track
(42:27):
.
But my role and I'm juststepping in alongside your soul
pet is also to serve as apartner, empathic friend and
teacher of sorts.
I'm your pet's wingman or wingwoman to help guide you back to
them again, and I also want toencourage you, especially if
you're listening to this andthis is just very new to you.
(42:49):
But there's something in yourheart or in your gut or in your
soul that's just resonating andyou're thinking I want to have
this experience.
I'm going to see if I can havethis experience.
This is something that maybethose around you don't even
believe in it or think it'spossible, but there's something
in you that's saying I want tosee.
I just want to see.
Then I also have a free resourcefor you.
It's called the PetReincarnation Guide and I'm
(43:11):
going to link it up in thisepisode in the show notes, so
you can check those out and youcan opt in.
It's free, you just have toenter your email and then my
software will pop the littleguide right into your email
inbox.
If you don't see it for anyreason, just email me, shannon
at animal love languagescom, andyou can let me know.
But this guide has beendeveloped from all of the
(43:34):
sessions that I've done, from myown experiences, to summarize
some of the major bullet pointsthat we're talking about in this
episode today and just serve asan anchor point, a point of
contemplation, for you toconsider.
Is this something that I wouldlike to experience?
Is this something I'd like toask my soul pet about and, if so
(43:56):
, how might I go about it?
So please do reach out to me.
I always love to hear from you.
Tag me on social media you canfind me on Instagram at love and

(44:19):

and so you might be next.

your stories and to working withyou and your pet.

you so much for listening andplease do leave a review of
let's Talk to Animals.
(44:39):
It really helps our little showget noticed and known and helps
me be able to share the miracleof pet reincarnation and animal
communication with more petsand their people, and that just
makes this a better world.
So I am sending you all my loveand I look forward to welcoming
