good to be on mobile and they actually brought it out for the
consoles and four player Co-op is it's it's topped here Ninja
Turtles game. Single player on the phone,
right? I don't even know I didn't even

(02:45):
investigate because it got me somad.
But the they had like additionalDLC with Casey Jones.
They have Mecca Turtle in there, their recent DLC update, also in
arcade mode. But yeah they keep adding things
to the game dude and it plays amazing.
It's always dope. A big surprise.
Yeah it's AII thought it wouldn't be a big deal today

(03:06):
till I looked it up and saw how it played and we finally bought
it and everything from like the voice acting, the turtles
designs and everything is dope. I was one of the better turtles
games. Yeah, for for anybody who's not
familiar or, or is like interested in wanting to know
how this plays, picture Hades, but multiplayer.

(03:28):
So it's basically a multiplayer Hades with the turtles.
Yeah. Nice.
Pretty much, yeah. It's dope, See.
It it's dope man, and you do feel the progression as you get
stronger because I was just messing around the other like
maybe like a month ago playing one player player.
Wow, I didn't even drink it. One player and I beat the game
on some silly shit. I was running through people.

(03:50):
Wow. I was like oh shit, I guess I am
strong. All right, cool.
Yeah, it's bad crazy when you got you know that's why reality
don't say with the size of stuffing students start doing
soup lately What night? Terrible, What are you talking
about, man? Calm down.
Relax. Terrible's going a little crazy
right now. Calm down.
What do you mean I'm trying to be back?
I mean, I'm glad you enjoyed it.I'm glad you enjoyed the game

(04:11):
too. Terrible.
You need to let me know what your diet secrets is man.
He needs nothing. I need that.
I need that diet. Plan.
Just eat nothing. It's gone from an I just eat.
Air. And have no salt.
You guys want to see something stupid?
Yeah, check this out. I got to sip through the straw.

(04:32):
Hold on. Wait.
Yes, that is dumb. It's bad, crazy.
It's looks like you're sipping askinny glue.
No, man. Don't care about that.
Was mad inappropriate. Bro, what's wrong with you?
Yeah, exactly. Pause.
Sure. Messed up man, Messed up first.
Week back. Oh, we already acting.
Up yo. Bizarre.
What up? What's going?

(04:53):
On that's right, it's terrible he's back.
But yeah, TMNT splitter faint definitely gets that official
level 857 sealer quality. Yeah, nice.
Unity. Oh.
Yeah, Unity. Hell yeah, man.
Hell freaking. Yeah.
Oh yeah. Oh yeah.
Good. The skeleton's killing me.

(05:15):
That's just fucking skeletons. Because Turbo's back.
Yo, my God. He's eating 60 frames.
He's in 60 Turbo's back. It's.
Ain't gonna get me up. That's what happens when you you
know. I wouldn't, I wouldn't move him.
He seems comfortable. So for, oh, actually, for
anybody who's wondering what we're wearing, I'm I'm the shy

(05:38):
guy styling. What the heck is that?
I got a shirt that says this is my human costume.
I'm really a gamer. All right, so the story behind
this, I really was going to be Virgil for Halloween.
The wig was mad cheap, But that costume, like the official
costumes, like 100. I said, all right, we going with
a shirt this year? Yeah, because Leslie hasn't

(06:01):
super chat in the wild. So I was like, I can't afford
it. Wow.
That's 60 frames diet. Yeah, 60 frames diet.
We got sticks as Bowser. Yes, I am.
I'm Bowser. And.
Turbo. Turbo is a skeleton, Turbo is a
skeleton, and chalk is. I'm the ghost of enjoyable

(06:25):
gaming's test. There you go.
Wow, I'm a. Hacker from Watchdog.
There you go, hacker from Watchdog.
There you go. I'm really just making this up
as I go along. Wow.
Wow. So yeah, we got the we got an
interesting topic, man. We got an interesting tier list.
All right, We got yeah, we're going to be ranking the horror

(06:48):
game franchises. Yes, and full on Halloween
spirit. We're ranking the horror games.
Oh, we got to get these shots going.
Chalk, just me and chalk right now.
Shots all right. Let's go, Chuck.
Can't do a shot. We got that mask.
Cheers. Y'all drink them if you got
them. Imagine spills everywhere.
Just throw it through the mask. That would happen to Turbo if
you gave them a shot. It.

(07:08):
Would go right through the bone. You doing the shot Turbo?
Oh. I was vicious today.
No. No.
I don't want a. Shot he's so when he hits your
lips. He's sticking to that diet, I
see. All right.
As far as that damn turbo becamea bone daddy.
Oh man. All right, so here we go.

(07:30):
The first game franchise, horrorgame franchise we got on the
list is. Resident Evil debuted March
22nd, 1996. Nine total mainline titles with
numerous remakes and spin offs. Developed and published by
Capcom. Available on PS, Xbox, Nintendo,

(07:50):
PC and mobile. Oh yeah.
And iOS. IOS unfortunately.
Yeah. It's everywhere.
It's on everything. Yeah, it's on Game Boy.
Game Boy Color. You know, I was thinking about
this game the other day, Resident Evil 1.
And I was, I was just trying to remember how I felt about it

(08:12):
because I'd never really play games like this like back then.
I never messed with anything like this, like horror games or
you know, I see, you know, the, the fixed camera, the the tank
controls and shit like that. But, and I was going to shut
this shit off multiple times, but I remember I, I watched, I
watched 6 play it. And then I remember he got up to

(08:34):
the the hunters and Oh yeah, he had the heel and the healed full
energy and the hunter and then the hunter ran full speed chop
settle. I said that is fucking
terrifying that I was like, thatis very, very.
Terrifying. I remember it was right in the
hallway, right where he first appeared on the top, and I
opened the floor, open the door and game over.

(08:55):
That changed the entire game, but for some reason I wanted to,
I wanted to play it. I, I thought it was very fun to
watch. I want to play it and, and I
really, it got that game got me into the, the entire series like
it really did. And predicting like where the
zombies were, you know, cuz you're running for your life at
the beginning, you don't really have much ammo.
But when you get that shotgun asChris, you go back to all those

(09:17):
zombies that you were scared of.You start doing headshots and
clearing out hallways. And I used to love doing that,
that that was so, so fun. I will always, anytime Resident
Evil is announced or anything, or they, they announce A remake
or they got something new, I always will pay attention at 1st
and hopefully it's not for firstperson.
And, you know, always get excited about it because I love

(09:40):
the series. Dude, I missed the loading here.
The, the, the doors. That itself was kind of scary,
you know, because the anticipation of going into the
next room, you don't know what angle they're going to is going
to be overhead on the corner. Yep.
And to think that that was just because they have to hide the
loading that was, it was brilliant.
It was a way to hide the loadingscreen, but you never thought of
it that way. They took that from, they took

(10:01):
that for an answeration on SweetHome for NES.
Really. Yeah.
The 8 bit, 8 bit door was there.I was like, it looks like
Resident Evil. Because it's at the time this
was like the one of the first like disc CD based video games.
So it's like loading times was like a new concept.
So they had to figure out new tricks to like hide the loading
times. Do when they had stuff come out

(10:23):
the door later, like not on thisone, but later down the road
when you even have the the fake door and then they're opening
zombies all day. I was like, yeah, what's what's?
Happening. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Make no. Sense they need more of that,
they need data. Actually.
I I think that's what should have happened more in this
series is that like zombies should appear through the door a
lot more. I think like little simple
things. They kind of went away from that

(10:44):
are actually genuinely terrifying.
But I don't I'm sorry, go ahead.I was going to say going through
the because this is the franchises.
It's not just. Resonating the.
Whole thing the whole series as far as like the evolution of
Resident Evil, like from when itstarted to like when it is where
it is now, where what would you say is like the the the
highlight of the whole series was it the.

(11:06):
Was it the remake? 5 or the.
For me. 5. Even though 5 is my favorite, 5
is my favorite in the series. I know a lot of people are
probably going to say four. Yeah, which is also good for me.
Oh, it's so that's tough, man. It's between two of them.

(11:27):
That I think was the absolute like definition of what the
Resident Evil is. Was Resident Evil 1 remake.
I thought that was, that's not talked about enough.
I thought that was incredible. And then I think of Code
Veronica. Code Veronica was like, you
know, it was like Part 1 on steroids.
And a remake for that I think would be, I don't get me wrong.

(11:50):
I mean, I like 3 a lot. I love 5.
Like I said, 5 is my favorite inthis series. 4 is incredible.
I even love 66 gets hated on a lot.
But I I like 6. I like 6 a lot.
Only the the Leon campaign and yeah, and Resident Evil. 2 is,
you know, arguably, you know, a lot of people's the best in this
series. Especially I still say 2 is my

(12:11):
favorite. And I would never, I would never
argue anybody with two. 2 is fucking insane.
Like overall the whole the wholething out of the state 2 is
probably my. Favorite.
Yeah, you could play AS2 protagonists.
Totally different games too. Yeah, and it's, it's a freaky
game. It really is like.
But as far as horror, yeah, I would probably say as much as we

(12:32):
don't like the first person perspective, I think 7 is the
most scary as in horror because it went, you know, Resing was
more like it's split between action and horror, right?
And go back and forth its points, but when they went back
to like this is a cabin in the woods type vibe, I was like, I
don't want to walk through the door.

(12:54):
And none of the Resident Evils made me feel like I didn't want
to walk into the door. 11 made me feel that way.
One did. Yeah, one I just didn't.
I didn't want to go anywhere like resident.
Evil 2 remake made me feel like. That, yeah, like Resident Evil
1, like especially Remake. That's why I talk about Remake
is because when you kill zombiesand later on they come up and
become Crimson's, they run. At you.
You don't know when the fuck if you don't like those bitches on

(13:16):
fire, they're going to come through.
So that to me was like, all right, I'm gonna go back in this
room and I have two, two bullets.
But I remember I killed someone a while ago and he's going to
get up and chase me. So that's that always was like
very terrifying. 1 Remake was definitely a a problem.
I tried playing it again, I had trouble.
Yeah, that's not. I had a lot of trouble with that
game. I gotta watch a bullets.

(13:36):
It's like a puzzle game at that point.
Yep, it's like, do I? It's a strategy game.
No, it is. It really is.
It's like I just killed him. Can I slice his head off?
I gotta burn him damn it. Or should I not kill him 'cause
he's so slow and just run past? Is it worth it stocking all the
you know the things the the oil and all that stuff to burn them
or do? You want to just walk?
Yeah, it's like. I ended up burning everyone.

(13:57):
Yeah, yeah, yeah. You don't want him coming back.
I don't want you don't want him coming.
I want to think in Resident Evilthat you, when you clear out a
room, you wanna make sure when you go back, that room is
definitely clear. You know, it's clear.
You don't want any surprises. But you don't want long
hallways, though. Yeah, and you forget the ones
way down. Maybe running like you ruined
the game. Now I'm gonna kill him.

(14:17):
I'm good. I didn't play that.
I really like the two, Remake isprobably one of my favorite as
far as remakes. Amazing.
That is by far my favorite. So good.
That's and and 4 was really goodtoo.
I got to play it. 4 was. Excellent four.
I never touched excellent. I mean I did it for like 2
hours. They fixed, they fixed the
pacing issue because you could backtrack.
They fix. They fixed so much, it's so

(14:39):
good. As far as a franchise, this is
one of the the granddaddy's SO. Oh, I forgot to mention for the
audio listeners, there are people who aren't familiar with
our tier list. This is our list.
I thought there's no, no, no, I was like, oh, that's a black
screen right there. No, it's the top.
Of course is essential. All right then.

(15:00):
Followed by great, then good, then OK, and of course, trash
and never played for anybody who's never played imagine.
So we're putting this on their never play 'cause we never
played Resident Evil. Couldn't you imagine how you
gonna have a gaming channel and you never play no resident?
How you calling? Desire to determine that was a
lie. I just finished Resident Evil 2

(15:20):
remake the other day, last Friday that's.
A dope, yeah, I. Finished it.
Oh wow. That's such a dope.
Game so see, it's not scary. Yes, it is.
I'm not even gonna fuck the liquors still to this day they
make me very uneasy. Terrifying I.
Cannot stand them, I hate them. Me too.
So where you putting this on thelist?
Essential. I mean, no, it's.

(15:40):
Come on man, this is the easiest.
This is probably the easiest. Essential as easily.
Essential, essential Essential the.
Rest of this is going to be realeasy for me.
Essentially. A horror game.
Chucks, you'll be like trash. Everything is trash, but you
never played it trash. Yeah.
Yeah, it's not trash vicariouslythrough US.
It's the only horror game he's ever beat, Yeah.

(16:01):
That's crazy. Wow.
That's correct. Yeah.
Wow. Yeah.
Yeah, unless you count like honey musha that.
Doesn't really count. I mean some games are so bad we
consider them horrible. As in horrible.
Horrible. Games Gears 5, Gears 5 horror.
Yeah. Wow.
I mean, it could be. Nah, man.
Gears is pretty scary. No, I'm not bizarre.

(16:23):
As Chuck's playing outlast. Next.
No. I'm.
Not outlast come on Halloween spirit man, Halloween spirit and
negative. And with you got to wear the
mask too. Negative, negative.
Oh, man. All right, so everybody agrees,
right? Essential.
Essential. Easy.
Essential all. Right, all right, essential.

(16:43):
Essential the rest put on not never played.
We're good. Basically.
Wow, it got me. Yeah.
Wow. Imagine if we had a sensational
category. Sensational.
I mean, that could happen. We're good.
Essential's gonna be sensational.
Yeah, you can. You can redoubt.
Turn into a sensational. That works.
That works. All right, so Resident Evil's
down next game franchise. What we got is.

(17:08):
Silent Hill debuted February 23rd, 1999.
Eight name line titles with remakes and spin offs and
development developed by Team Silent Climax Studios.
Double Helix Games That's the Games Blooper Team published by
Konami, available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo and
PC. Sapola said Turbo going to be
like, it's OK, Resident Evil series is OK if.

(17:32):
I play it now though. Yeah, nostalgia goggles.
Y'all got nostalgia goggles? I wouldn't play that game now
though. I wouldn't play this now.
This this this footage right here looks really this is bad
memories man. Listen, I've never played Silent
Hill. I've always watched Silent Hill
so I can't really give an opinion on what I feel about the

(17:55):
series as a whole. Yeah, No thanks.
See, I only played the first oneand and everybody knows you're
either a Silent Hill fan or a Resident Evil fan.
It's like you're not a fan of both.
So it's like this never did it for me.
It never did it for me. It was more annoying.
Well, Silent Hill has the problem of controls.
Yeah, it always did like the thecombat.

(18:16):
This didn't rely on combat. It made you run from everything.
Yeah. And it's definitely it is scary,
one of the top tier horror gamesever created.
It is scary. I will.
Cause of the atmosphere. The atmosphere is ridiculous.
Yeah, he's walking forever now. They did it right.
You don't want to beat it. Imagine down the street with fog
like that. Yeah, it looks like I gotta find

(18:37):
the bathroom simulator. Now it's like Nintendo 64.
Well, most, most people will saySilent Hill 2 is the definitive.
Like that's the yeah. How's it called?
Following. A lot of people love Silent
Hill. I just never played it 'cause I
I need protection. Dude the music alone, the music
in that game is so terrible. I like the movie.
We scared our whole dorm. Yeah, we got to some puzzle and

(18:59):
it was too hard. We just sitting there and we
blasted this horrific sound music.
Like it's not even like music. It was just screeches and weird
like disgusting sounds. And we turned it up so loud that
a whole area in the door was like, what what is this?
What's happening? It's real life, that's what it
is. Yeah, they were terrified.

(19:20):
This looks this actually was interested in the two remake
Silent Hill 2. They said it was dope, right?
Yeah. Yeah 2 got good reviews man, 2
is good. Stupid ending in that.
The fans have been waiting for this game forever and they
finally got it's remake treatment.
They did that before the first one.
Yeah. And they're working on the first
one now. Yeah.
I always thought, well, what what made the stand out back in

(19:43):
the day was the CG and one dude did it, one guy did that CG.
And that's what's like, it looked lifelike at the time.
Now it looks like CG. Yeah, yeah, it's one person.
But it like you saw the movies, like you understand the, the,
the reasoning for it. You go to hell.
Like it's a town that goes to hell and it looks disgusting.

(20:06):
And the, the, the Pyramid Head dude, like it's iconic.
There's a lot of stuff in this that's like horror franchise.
Permanently they like it's there's no question.
Yeah. But as far as gameplay is
another story, right? But if I'm sitting here with the
storyline like this, this is creepy as hell, man.
You hit it on the on the nail onthe head when you said it was

(20:28):
the atmosphere, because it really is.
It's eerie. Look at this room.
Even if nothing is going on, you're like something is about
to happen. You're uncomfortable.
Yeah, throughout the whole game,it's constant.
You're uncomfortable at all times.
It plays with your senses, yes. Turn this game off if.
It gets if it gets chalked to say turn it off.
It's a good, hard game. Like when everything turns rusty

(20:50):
and red and then you just like screeching metal.
It's all like the basement. Everything's the basement turn.
This game. Off If they could put Freddy in
this game, it would be perfect for him because it seems like
that's where he would be at, right?
Yeah. So he's chilling.
So so Al you've only messed withtwo or one.
I've only messed with the first game and never, I never even

(21:13):
finished this and Styx, you, youonly you dabbled a little bit.
Right. I played one and two.
Through the whole thing or just a?
Little I played one and two, thewhole thing.
Oh. Really.
Oh, so you're you're probably the only one who could really
give. AI got the dog ending, the
stupid ending. People go online type of Silent
Hill dog, It's silent. Hill dog ending.
Really, it's hilarious. It's so this all weighs on what
Styx thinks about the franchise. Are we going to have a moment

(21:36):
like we did with Zelda, or are we going to have a?
Listen, Zelda is all right. Yeah.
Yeah, that shit was crazy, but everything went to a screeching
halt of like, Oh no, we're goingto get removed from YouTube if
we give the Zelda Series A good.Listen, as far as competing, if

(21:56):
I said Resident Evil versus Silent Hill, I can't put Silent
Hill in the same category. Yo, this is a dog ending.
I'm sorry to interrupt with Yo I.
Spoil it, I'm sorry. Yeah, but yeah, yeah, before you
put it. I know I didn't.
I didn't show anything. Oh, OK.
I didn't say before you put. It I didn't show like a fake
ending, but yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

(22:16):
But what the hell. But I can't, I can't put in the
same league as Resident Evil as a whole, as a franchise, because
there's been some lower tier Silent Hill games that don't
stand up like The Room. And so I know people like them,
yeah. But as far as the strength of
the franchise, I have to put it one below as an evil.

(22:36):
So, so great as as much as the. As much as the, you know, a spot
it has in the horror genre, I can't put it as essential as a
as a franchise, as an idea, I can.
We all gave Resident Evil essential.
Yeah, it's like, like I said, it's like it's either Resident
Evil or Silent Hill. You got to be.
You're going to be a fan of one or the other.

(22:58):
It's not. It's never both.
Everybody that I talked to that's a fan of Silent Hill,
they don't play Resident Evil. Well Chucks going to stream
Silent Hill this Friday so we could get his opinion on it you
know later on the original for PS1.
I mean, I even saw Silent Hill that.
The new one. The new one.
The new one is creepy as hell too.
I was going to say a quick spoiler alert if you if you

(23:19):
really want to know the ending here, This is only 30 seconds.
I want to play this right now. He wants to drop a spoiler
spoiler alert. I've mentioned this boiler.
Hey, turn away if you don't. Spoiler alert, you got 5 seconds
to turn. Away.
It has nothing to do with the story.
What the hell? It has nothing to do with the
story of Silent Hill. I really want this to be candid.
This is a joke ending, but then so it's all your work.

(23:46):
This is the. The dog is at the controls.
Come on man. He's at it.
He was. The dog was controlling
everything. He did everything.
He was behind everything. He was an evil dog.
They did that last day of like developing.
They did that shit. Let's just throw this in there.
That was, I mean I. Got the regular also but I did.
I got that too. That's stupid.
Fucking dog. There's an alien one too.
That's not. So we're leaving Silent Hill in

(24:08):
the break. They'll.
Put it in great. All right.
He's definitely going in great, all right, because I think
they've improved big time. Like the newer ones.
It's it's in that league now, but there's like 5 of them or
four of them. That's if it if the remakes, if
the remakes never happened. If the remakes that happened
will be in good, it'll be in good, but it's in great right
now because they they came back.Konami.
Konami is back in business. I'm not going to argue with

(24:30):
that, man. It's a popular franchise.
So it's got movies. I would I would feel bad if it
was like, you know, the two of y'all played it for like an hour
and you're like, Nah, this is trash.
I'm like, oh, we're about to getbacklash like you've never heard
before, like. Jesus, right?
Yeah. I'll say deserves a spot.
I'll say as a franchise also, even though I can't speak to the

(24:51):
games themselves and and I wish Resident Evil would follow suit,
but they did the the movies. I love Silent Hill movies.
They did them right. I don't know about the second
one, but I I, I like the first one.
I don't. Remember those we kind of
Resident Evil in this movies or not?
Oh no. Resident OK Resident Evil
Movies. They drop versus versus Silent
Hill movies. Oh, that's right.
In the trash. Yeah, I put Resident Evil movies

(25:12):
in the fucking trash. So it's a franchise as a whole
that that's including movies andall those other than they would
have to knock it down to what? Good, the trash and essential
goes to a good. Well, there's more.
Good. There's more.
Thankfully, we're a video game podcast.
Yeah, rank those. Serious.
Well, the games. The games, obviously.
Maybe they're trying the movie. Our Patreon, we could do that.

(25:33):
True, true. They improved the combat in
Silent Hills, that's why. You could defend.
Yourself recently? Well, yeah.
I've always seen a dude with a steel pipe trying to hit people.
Usually that's what it is. Of course, but I said they would
have still steel pipe, not. Very described.
Come on man. I was just, I described it.
A steel pipe, not a pipe. Come on man, you just said it.
Come on man. What's the next game?

(25:55):
Sensation. Oh, man.
All right. The next game.
Oh, God. Chuck's reaction.
Oh God. Dredge Stace debuted October
14th, 2008. Four mainline titles, including
the 2023 remake developed by EA,Redwood Shores and Visceral
Games and Motive Studio, published by EA, available on

(26:18):
PlayStation, Xbox, Chichi and Nintendo Switch.
Yo, nightmare, this. Oh my God.
Fuck this. I'm curious to know what
everyone else has. This shit goes in the trash.
No, I'm just kidding. I'm joking.
I'm joking. I'm going to throw something at
you, man. No, no, this is.
I'll start. I only played one.
Didn't I get a chance to play two or three?

(26:39):
Oh hell no. Turn this very low.
Turn this shit off. Turn it off.
It's. Just.
I will tell you one thing, all right.
So as far as like horror games are concerned.
Yeah, Chuck is losing. His mind off of just.
The Chuck, just look at the chat.

(27:00):
Yeah, look at the chat. Chuck, look at the chat.
So, so, so playing this game. I, I, this is probably the most
uncomfortable horror game I've played.
Like I don't like any enemy, anyenemy in the game.
I hate everything that's there. Like every every room I hate, I
hate everything that I have to do, but it does the job.

(27:22):
It does the job. The fact the only reason I
finished the game is because they give you good weapons.
Yeah, to, you know, get your revenge.
But all these enemies are fucking disgusting.
There's there's this sounds. You're never comfortable, you're
always uncomfortable. You don't want to go.
Mere fuel. Look at that fucking thing
creeping. Look at him, he busted.
Ass Yeah that look funny as hell.
Though. See, that's when you, when you
get to defend yourself, it's like, all right, I'm, I'm

(27:44):
getting revenge. But like, when you run out of
ammo and stuff, I'm shitting bricks.
Oh yeah. Turn this game off, Jesus,
right? They're they're all they're I
hate these enemies. It's Resident Evil in space.
This is This is why I see as good as this was when they said,
oh, wait, we're doing a remake of one.
I'm like, that's great. I'm not playing it. 0 interest.
I don't want to put myself through this shit, but it does

(28:06):
everything to perfection. It does everything it is
supposed to do. It does everything it's supposed
to do. It's top tier horror.
It's it's definitely like I haven't played two and three, so
I don't know if that disqualifies me from the
franchise, but I would put it inthe essential just based off of
what it does just because I don't like it as much as the
other ones. It does everything it's supposed

(28:27):
to do and you didn't play 22 is the one I'm dying.
For you to play, I actually willplay.
It I'm not even I'm dying for you to play 2 because I will
play it. It's such an upgrade from the
first one and it's and it from the pacing to the I mean, don't
get me wrong, it's fucking scary, but they did it right.
It was. I gotta be, you know, me.
I gotta be in the mood to get this shit scared out of me.
So like, it's which is never, I'm never.
You're not gonna want to play this shit with the lights on.

(28:49):
No, I the lights off. But The thing is, I have to, I
have to play it the right way though.
Yeah, I always have to do that. I have to, you know, Yeah, I
have to play it the right way. But headphones, I mean, no, no.
That's how I play this surround sound.
Hell no. With the subwoofer going.
No. Yeah, I would give it an
essential because it's just whatyou know it does its.

(29:09):
Job listen. I hate it.
I hate the. Game like Chuck said, these
enemies are nightmare fuel. Like they are horrendous.
Some of the creepiest looking monsters you can possibly think
of. They're fucking awful, but they
give it this, They give you weapons, they give you things to
blow their legs off like, and itworks like you can kill them.

(29:30):
So it's less scary because they're not.
I mean, what you saw in that room just now with so many
interviews in that one room. But you could take them.
There behind you, they're just rushing as you're fighting
something else, like everything is happening.
Everything is disgusting. Look at that.
That's fucking disgusting. They.
Did such a good job though. Like like look at the break into
the glass. Come on, but look at his legs.

(29:51):
Legs off. It's funny when they rush in
that oh have no legs. And arms, it's great.
The way he did is great, yeah, but I love the atmosphere.
Kind of reminds me of like what if Metroid was a horror game
because you're actually. There's a horror.
I can see that because they. Got creepy Asia alone.
And it's creepy enemies in Metroid.
Also, if they did Metroid Prime in that atmosphere, I would like

(30:12):
Metroid. Turns.
Into a horror game. They should do 1.
Metroid is a horror game bro. That space essentially is, yeah,
it's a great horror game. I mean, there's people on a
ship, but and nobody's coming back with you.
Killing killing the Necromorphs. But what do you give it?
It's it's scary, I give it that. But three happened, which was
less scary, but I mean, there's only three of them.

(30:34):
So yeah, I would say. Well, they also made an on rails
like on shooter. That is right for the Wii.
Yeah, which I played. And Xbox 360 I think.
Yep, but. Then that was dope.
I can't say they did much wrong so I'd have to put that in.
Essential for horror also. Look at that too essential.

(30:57):
Dead Space is positive. No, that's it does exactly what
it's supposed to do. If I hate it, that means it did
a great job. Like I I hate the game and I.
Played that game for four hours.I want to turn wanted to.
Turn I'm. Surprised you actually got a
chance to stream it. I'm like, that is way more
terrifying than Resident Evil. 2.
You think I wanted to play that?Is that what you think?

(31:19):
It's extreme, man. No, it is.
It's probably one of the most extremely terrifying games I've
played. No, just think of this.
I played the remake and I playedthe remake with because they
recommended with headphones because they updated the audio
and they added a heartbeat and that shit.
Nope. It freaking freaked me out
because I'm like, your heartbeatstarts matching the heartbeat in

(31:40):
the game and so even if nothing is happening, you hear the
heartbeat go up and you're like shit, I'm about to get
something's about pop out. Dude, I remember, I remember
when I first played the demo of that and in a demo it's like 1
little section but at the end ofit this big one of those big ass
creatures comes out. Oh, it's not correct.

(32:00):
Yeah. Grabs you and rips you in half
and stomps on you and it's over and at the end of the demo.
But that's that's how it ends. Yeah, Yeah.
Yeah, that's the end of the demo.
I'm like, oh, that was vicious. I'm like, well fuck this game.
You know, what really got me is the fact that like the just the
genius thing is that just to keep the tension up is that
there's no part like even if youpause the screen to go to your

(32:22):
menu to change with, the game still runs.
So people enemies are still coming at you.
You have to find and There's nowhere safe really.
Well, plus all the informations on your back, right?
There's no HUD on the screen. Well, when you when you have to
change like, you have to upgradeyour.
Weapon you have to slows your down it slows.
Like even even I looked at Chuck, I'm like I know he just
the movement of the motherfuckers of the work.

(32:43):
Look how he just runs at you. Fuck those things man.
Even so much it's just looking at the map.
When you pull up the map, the game is still the enemies are
still moving, so you. Earn this shit.
Yeah, why is he dragging him around?
But one of the biggest things ofof the remake was that they made
it fully just like, just like inResident Evil 2 remake, how you
could go, you could backtrack through the entire game and

(33:04):
Resident Evil 4, you could backtrack through the entire
game. They did the same treatment in
this and. But you never know where the
monsters come out. Though also one one of the
things that I like and they improved it in Part 2, they did
improve this a lot in Part 2. That's why I want you to play it
is the weapon upgrades. The weapon upgrades in Part 2
was probably the best, most addictive cuz you could

(33:26):
customize your weapon, you couldadd add-ons to your weapon and
it makes it a completely different freaking weapon
completely and then you can upgrade the add-ons on the
weapon itself and. Dude, just give me the weapon
that chops them. Up you get questions.
For example, you get like a shotgun, right?
And then like a thing that's basically simulating a shotgun,
but then you could add like a buzz saw on top of that.

(33:47):
Then you could add like a claw on top of that, like a
grappling. It's crazy.
Question, does the drop off from2:00 to 3:00 drop the series
down a peg or do you think it's still on the same level?
I can't be. I see.
The thing is I have to revisit it.
I played it the wrong way and itgave me a bad impression because
it it was meant for Co-op and I played it single player and this

(34:08):
was on the 360 that I played this on and the AI was kind of
crap because not circuit the building.
What up Sir? What's?
Going on but but they did the same thing as Resident Evil when
they went more action so you can't really kill them for.
It they did, but it kind of turned but.
It ended the franchise. It did.
It did, but and only because it like throughout all the all the

(34:32):
Dead Space games, you fought necromorphs and then in this one
and the third one, you, you actually fight humans.
You go on a planet and there's actually humans.
More horrifying? So it was more like it was like
Gears of War kind of. It was more action oriented.
Don't get me wrong, it was fun and they had some scary, like
some terrifying moments, you know, quite a few actually
interesting and some really coolboss battles.

(34:54):
There was one in particular thatI remember where it was like a
Co-op boss battle. Like one one of your your Co-op
partner is stuck in a room and fighting off people and you have
to, you have to man the controlswhile fighting off people to
save your partner. And then your partner does the
same shit to you to try to save you.
Oh wow. So it was pretty innovative.
But when you're playing it. Would come out about the same

(35:15):
time as those evil 5 though. Like I know where they were,
they were trying to lean towardssomething like that with the Co.
OP, I'm trying to remember. I don't.
Maybe it's possible. It's possible.
You got to play that with radical Reggie.
Yeah, because I know, I know he wanted to play that Co-op.
Well, if you play 2 and we couldplay 3 Co-op because I wanted to
do that. Well, we got to get turbos like.

(35:37):
We. Oh, yeah.
What do you think? Turbo.
Turbo. We skipped turbo.
My bad. And it's essential, by the way.
I say obviously you guys know turbo.
What do you think? Well, you know, I mean the
stalls, your glasses on and. It's OK.
It's OK, really. Turbo, I thought you never
played you. Can't look at this game with the

(35:57):
stars and glasses on, I mean. I take the serious.
Yeah, I take. The serious, you know,
assessment of the game. You know how it holds up in
current times. And you know what?
I mean, I think it still holds up.
I think it still holds up. I think you're you're, you're
lying. We all disagree with Turbo.

(36:19):
We all disagree with Turbo. Sorry, Style and Sticks already
said it's a set, so he's going to go into the set so.
OK. All right.
It is what it is all. Right, all right, so.
Chad, what do you think? Turn this shit off.
He can't vote, man. He never finished the game.
Turn that. Shit, will you play like 20
minutes or 4 hours? Now I played, I played a couple

(36:40):
hours. Now first room for four hours.
I will never. I guarantee he probably was
going back and forth like, I don't know, the fucking room.
The first one that had a lot of that's when my my gripe with the
first game, you know, I love it.A lot of backtracking.
And that was because of the constraints of budget.
So they have to figure out a wayto, you know, keep it going, but
they did. It was genius.
Essential. It is essential, essential.
I don't have any problem with that because that shit is

(37:01):
fucking terrified essentially. Turn that game off.
It definitely does the scary job, man.
It does the job. It's a great horror game and I
want nothing to do with it. I just wish they did the the
sequel remake. Yeah, I really wanted to play
that one. Yeah, yeah.
You ever played two? No, I saw it, but I didn't play.
It play too man too as well. I'll still play it just for the

(37:23):
weapons alone. Like the I'm telling you, when
you upgrade your shit, it's and you can get creative on how you
how you. I got it, they gave it to me and
I bought part the remake. They gave me Part 2.
It's so good, man. It was part game.
It's as far as the series. What's my favorite in the
series? Part 2.
I've heard a good thing, yeah. All right, next game.

(37:44):
The Evil Within debuted October 14th to 2014 with two main line
titles developed by Tango Gameworks, published by Bethesda
Softworks, available on PlayStation, Xbox and PC.
Look, the title's trying to killthem.
That's how you know it's hard. Two at a time.
Good Days 2. At a time.

(38:05):
Good days, days. So what should I say about the
Evil Within? Yeah, I'm good on that.
Chuck, did you did we get you toplay this?
Yes, I started playing it. Oh, you did then?
The first one, Yeah, I was playing the first one and I was
running it off of an external hard drive, which crapped out.
Oh yeah, that's right. That's wrong.
I was. Never so thankful for my hard.
Dr. Who would think somebody would be happy that the hard

(38:27):
drive died? Yeah, I was not happy.
Dude, I remember when Styx bought this and I would watch
him play a little bit. I said this is fucking
terrifying, like. I had a good time running from
the the chainsaw. Like Part 1, All right, I played
through both. I played through 1 and I played
through two-part 1 is one of these scariest games I've

(38:50):
played. It is extremely uncomfortable
and I'm surprised I played through the whole thing.
I I did. I had no intentions.
One was unpolished. You know what The thing is?
I was pissed because I wanted sticks to play through it.
But I think you stopped when they started.
Like there was like a sniper zombie at the top.
It was like being AI. Didn't I just stopped?

(39:10):
You just stopped? Yeah.
It was the first area, right? Yeah.
It was the first area where the guy was like chained up or
whatever. With the the chainsaw guy chased
me at the bar and. I wanted you to play it again,
but you weren't playing and I said fuck, I want to see more of
this game, so I started playing it.
But the controls got to me. The controls were not good.
The controls were very wonky. But The thing is, you get used
to it and it adds to the fear factor because like you would be

(39:32):
scrambling around for your weapons if you're getting.
Chased by these. Fucking things.
So I didn't really. I wasn't too upset about it as I
continued to play because I justgot used to it.
But I thought the first one was a brilliant, terrifying game.
Gave a very Dreamcast acting vibes because the some of the
acting was pretty cheesy Resident Evil 1 type type type

(39:54):
shit in there. So yeah, isn't.
That when everything went like the whole world flipped topsy
turvy in the beginning, I think like you in a car and then the
streets and buildings with yes, yes.
Yes, yes, that was 1. That was one.
OK. 2 is one of the best horror games I've ever played.
I it's. It's top three.
Play that. It's it's top three for me.
It's easily top three. It it goes more to like, I mean,

(40:16):
it's still like terrifying terrifying, but like more
psychological with a lot of weird imagery.
A lot of the witch in. It right the witch she had the
witch in the mirror with the many heads in the arms.
You had the the creepy sadistic painter guy who would kill
people and put it on art. There would be so there was so
much cool shit in that game. It was such a master.
Them acting was way better. Story was incredible, but just

(40:41):
from those two, even though there was at like, you know,
little mistakes in one, I think the two of them were as an
essential to horror games, to the horror genre because they
were just they were terrifying and and they had their they had
their own identity. They didn't like, Oh, this is a
Resident Evil RIP off or this isa Dead Space RIP off or this is
a silent they it kind of had a little bit of all of them in

(41:02):
there. Yeah, it was like a Resident
Evil silent hello to me. Yeah, and it had like I like
when you go to the save room, ithad that little, that old school
1950s type type music and I love.
That creepy ass. Yeah, it was very.
Sudden stuff happened in there later I think.
So there might have been there might have been fake save rooms.
I think there was something I, I, I beat it a long time ago,

(41:24):
but I this is essential to me easily because it's just, it did
everything it was supposed to do.
It was, you know, beyond creepy. You didn't want to, you want to
stop playing multiple times because especially in one, but 2
was just perfect to me. Two 2 was just a perfect horror
game. Really, really upset that a

(41:46):
third one never happened. Really very, very upset.
But yeah, this is, this is essential for me, man Very
essential. From what I saw, two I think 2
was essential, one was not. But I didn't play through them
so. Are you OK?
I'm gonna. Go.
I didn't play through both, I only played through some of the
1. So I would go.
What would you say then? One had some cool shit.

(42:08):
Even though the controls were a little wonky, you got rewarded
for certain things in there thatmade it passable.
Especially the end game sequencewas incredible.
A lot of people don't know abouthow that end game sequence and
then Part 1 Reggie would agree to that shit because that's what
was crazy. I give a lot of credit to the
the evil characters in the second game.
They were dope. They had a lot of spooky, spooky

(42:29):
characters. You could see, you could see
that as a movie Part 2, you could.
See that as. Well, I was about.
I was finally would creep up. I was actually going to say that
the first game, I never finishedthe first game because I I
didn't like, I just didn't like the controls of the.
First game, it would take you out of it.
Yeah. How?
How far were you Like I got it to the second, the 2nd chapter,

(42:49):
I think yeah, that's. Not like where I.
See, that's not that's the thingabout Part 1, like the I lost
interest. I will always say the controls
are a little wonky, but you do get used to them and the game
like as you go further into the game, you you see the the the
beauty of Part 1. Part 1 is a is a is a top tier
horror game despite a. Remake of that, however.

(43:10):
It should even even though I I didn't finish the first game and
I'm glad that you recommended itstyle for me to play the second
one, second one. And that one perfection.
That shit got me. Like I was like, whoa.
So the excitement that I had forthe second one when I played it
and like you said, it should have been a movie.
Yeah, like it's a perfect scriptfor a movie.
And I heard it was a room. Ever be in a movie?

(43:32):
I don't even know. I don't know.
I don't think it's sold very well.
I was. I was emotionally invested in
too. No, it was like what was going
on? I was really into it.
Good thing Microsoft owns it now.
Yeah, you can see it. You can definitely see it, No?
Fucking they ruined every Microsoft so talk to you peeps
man. But I'm going to say I like Evil

(43:53):
Within 2 so much that I put it on par with Dead Space too, as
far as the storyline, the pacingand like the weapons that you
get the boss battles, It's very similar, very similar as far as
the page. And it's both both equally like
creepy. So for that, yeah, I give it an
essential also. That's it.
Because they really, but not great.
OK, they they improve it. I'm telling you, because

(44:17):
remember, the only thing that's stopping a lot of people who
played Evil within, if you play through the whole thing because
it's the controls, right? Controls are very important in
games. I agree with that.
But it's such a great creepy fucking game.
They fixed it in the second and second one is a masterpiece.
They every issue that you had inthe first game they completely
like re this open world area incredible.

(44:37):
I loved everything about you. Dude, it was so, screezes Max
Payne. It actually looks like silent.
Even going into. The even going into the safe
house was like you weren't you are uncomfortable because it was
like oh, anything could just come out and fucking even in the
safe house. I remember some stuff going down
there. There's some shit.
I remember the ghosts. The ghosts.
I would freaking chase you and you know.
Like. With the fucking mist on the

(44:59):
floor and the song that she comes, she's like, like, get
this bitch out of here, man. I don't want to go in there.
Yeah, I think just dragging halfa body.
Bro, this, this part, I love it and it's bringing me back
because I remember this specifically I remember this
part. This this game, that's exactly
what I would do. I would run, hide, sneak away
from that. I think I'm walking up to that.
I'm not going up to anything. Don't just toss them in the
garbage. I'm not going up to anything.

(45:20):
Join them. No, I.
Join them in the trash. See that that's that's the
stealth. I like the the way they added
the that was perfect that that was.
Perfect. Like you could choose to
freaking defeat the guys, the stealth or head on.
Yeah, the ghost was a problem, man, that was a problem this
game. But yeah, it's my it's in my top
3 horror games all time easily. I don't know where it finishes
out of the top three, but it's in my top three.

(45:41):
So wait, so we got. You got a.
Central. Essential.
Yeah, All central, huh? All right.
Even not, Cirque said. Essential.
All right. It deserves what about to say
great. It deserves it.
It deserves it. It deserves it.
All right, all right, next game we got.
Fatal Frame slash Project 0 debut December 13th, 2001.

(46:06):
Five main line titles developed by Tecmo grasshopper
manufacturer Koi Tecmo, published by Tecmo Nintendo Koi
Tecmo available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Wii, WI, UPC and
Nintendo Switch. I've never I've never I never
played. Let me try that one more time.

(46:27):
I said I never tased. I never tasted.
I never tasted either. I never played this this series.
So I'm I'm I'll go on and never played.
Same with chalk and same with me.
So it's all up to stick. It's.
Up to me. Oh shit, it's up to me.
Sticks played this. Dude Fatal Frame is the type of

(46:48):
heart that gets me like the mostscared because spiritual like
ghost type stuff and Japanese lore like the ring and the
grudge or whatever like that. That really makes me terrified
to play because when you see theway the stuff they did in Fatal
Frame, like they would have a shadow creep on the corner of a
turn where the light is AT. And then you see these long

(47:11):
fingers and then it's like sitting there as you're walking
by. And then you just see like the
way they have you fighting it. You have to fight with a camera,
but you got to fight with a camera, which is it's down point
in mind. That's why I'm like fuck this,
that's your weapon. That's why.
That's why I never even touched.A fucking camera.

(47:32):
The weapon is a camera. You got to catch them and the
closer they get to you when you take the picture to, the harder
it hurts. You know, it would be fucking
funny. Like you could trick somebody
into playing this. Be like, can you shoot anybody?
Yeah, you could shoot you. Shoot with a camera, so you got
to get different film and stuff like that.
But like the story alone, it's it's here.

(47:53):
You go. It is top to your heart.
Like this is creepy as all hell.Yeah, you said you a good
picture, see. I just had a flashback.
I remember Jay Styx was playing this in the.
That I can't and. And Styles, older brother came
downstairs, remember? Oh yeah, yeah.
This shit ain't. Scary.
It's scary. Then why are you leaving the

(48:14):
basement? You just walk down now.
You're leaving. You're.
Saying scary, I'm going to bed. But why?
Why are you leaving now? Watch the rest of the time, man,
I'm going to bed. He didn't like that she was.
He's like actually, he's like Chuck when it comes to that
stuff. Like get me, I don't want to be
around this. Just turn it off or I'm going to
leave the area. I don't not want to be around
this. He's jetted quick.

(48:34):
Turn this off. He was out.
So I mean, like I like I said, the atmosphere is right, the
music is right, the graphics arecrazy.
Techno Techno was on it's. Just that.
It's creepy. Like listen, the game is slow
though. It's slow paced and every little
sound is like what? What is that?
Because you don't know where these ghosts are going to pop up
at. What was the shit?

(48:55):
You were in a room. Look to the left, look to the
right. Empty room.
I was stuck. What the fuck?
And then you looked up the motherfuckers.
Like get the shit out of. Here get.
Out of. Here I was stuck in that room
for like 10 minutes. I was like, I don't know what
else to do here And I looked up and he fell on me and I was the
end of the first chapter I think.
Or he was a boss or something happened.

(49:17):
But overall, because of the playmechanics of it, it's not my
favorite play mechanic and I understand why they did it
because having stuff creep up onyou, the closer they are is it's
more spooky and if you mess up, they hit you.
So I understand it. I don't want to play it, I
don't. Want nothing to do.
With that game and I heard two, it was like the the one to go to

(49:38):
if you, you know, recommended overall, if you're going to play
any fatal frame Part 2 is the one and they are remaking that.
Really. Yeah, 2 is remade.
You'll see it on the channel coming out.
It's coming soon. But overall I would put this let
me see this. Let me see the list again.
I had to put fatal framing Good.It really is good, yeah.

(49:58):
Now what was it's? Terrifying.
It's hard, yeah. Was.
It 5 mainline titles I think it was. 5 or 6, something like.
That yeah, it's five, it's 5 mainline, it's five.
Yeah, it's. Five, you stop putting the
number in it. But how many?
How many have you played? I played up to the one at the
Was it the Wii? It was one of the Wii.
I think that was five. I think I played them.
I didn't play it. I didn't beat any of them.
No, no, no, it's not. I just can't.

(50:21):
You dabbled. I can't.
It's just too much. I just can't.
It's too much, It's too long of a game like and it's too many
puzzles. It's too many puzzles for my
taste. So you pretty much dabbled with?
I did, I played with them and I was like the the one I would
want to play if they had like AVR one that's in your room.
Oh God. And you can look around your.

(50:41):
House messing with VR? I don't think I would.
Well, not VR, but like the the when you see through the
goggles, you see your own, your own house.
If they made fatal frame in yourneighborhood, like in the house
and like you go into a room and like, yo, what's in that closet?
That's my closet. And then no.
That sounds like a whole lot of Nope.

(51:02):
See that's that's an augmented reality.
Shit. Yeah.
On the DS they had augmented reality because they had a
camera on it, I think for this. Yeah.
Yeah, but they didn't have it for this.
I think they missed the opportunity to make it because
they had a fatal frame for it, or they did not have a fatal
frame for this. Not sure but they should have
made one. No, I disagree that way.
No, I disagree. Think in the future they should.

(51:23):
There'll be a lot of deaths, there'll be a lot of heart
attacks. I play video games to escape
reality. I don't want to make my reality.
I don't want my reality to freaking.
Get that would be that would be the most terrifying.
The most you have, I'll be like, well, I guess I gotta move.
I can't live here in the war. And the DS could be the the
camera ohh. It makes sense.
I get what you're saying, but I the experience would be unlike

(51:46):
anything other. But I don't want that.
I don't want haunted house, a haunted house that was Fatal
Frame inspired, where you had toget out by taking pictures of
the ghosts. No, no, that's amazing.
But with VR some shit you go through.
The camera and you can see through it like that.
Oh no. I'm.
Not leaving the house, yeah. I'm good.
The game will come to your. House, I mean, it's a good idea
for for those that like haunted houses and stuff right now We

(52:08):
good on that. Yeah, I'm, I'm good.
Yeah, it's time to horror, but Iwould have to because of the
gameplay. I would have to give it a good
all right so, but it's too terrifying for me to even play
so all. Right.
Fair enough, Fair enough. It could be great.
No, no one. Have guns.
There's no guns. No ones arguing in the chat for
this everyone. Just like now, we go here, we
all, we all take your word for it, man.

(52:30):
It's scary. Though no ones fighting you.
If you don't, if you don't like spiritual stuff, or if that gets
to you, right, it's the game that will creep you out.
No one's fighting you, bro. We all were like, Yep, I don't
think there'll be. I don't think there'll be many
arguments on this podcast. Yeah, no, that's on this list.
We'll take your word for it. Whole lot of Nope.
All right, next one we got. Alone in the Dark debuted

(52:55):
September 17th, 1992. Seven mainline titles, including
the 2024 remake developed by Infograms, Eating Games, Hydra,
Vision Entertainment, Pieces Interactive and published by
Info Grams, Atari, THQ Nordic. Available on PC, PlayStation,
Xbox, Dreamcast and Nintendo Switch.
I was looking at that. I thought that was a movie it

(53:17):
looked like. A like a like a.
Movie like a like AB movie. It was a movie.
They made a movie. They made a movie with a it
wasn't Mark Wahlberg, right? This is somebody.
No, that was bad, though. He did.
Mark Wahlberg did. Max Payne I.
Thought yeah, yeah. But somebody did this and it was
trash. That movie was garbage.
But this was like before Resident Evil to be honest.

(53:38):
Yeah, that was the first game topull off Resident Evil.
Wait a minute, are you is this it's happening again where
you're the only one that messed with this?
Oh, no one, No one's played withit.
Hell no. I never played this.
I never played no this is yours shipment.
So on PlayStation, well, on PC, but on PlayStation, it came out
before Resident Evil. Yeah.
And it looked bad. You know, I had the same camera
angles and stuff, and they did adecent enough job with it, but

(54:00):
the controls are terrible. And it's it's always been
terrible. Who was the villain in this
again? I don't hey, listen, I listen.
I I did not go further than playing Wow.
I didn't play this for long. The movie came out in 2005,
directed by. Will you look at that?
What a surprise. Starring Christian Slater OK

(54:24):
Tara Reid. Oh my God.
Stephen Dorff. I have to watch this now.
Might have to do it on Patreon at some point.
I have to. Watch that.
Yeah, we'll do the live viewing. We definitely got to watch it.
Yeah, I'm not going to do the live viewing.
Come on, come to come on, man. I'm not going to library too
much into this series. It it failed as a franchise, I'm
surprised it had seven titles, which is crazy.
I didn't even know. Yeah, they've all been bad.

(54:46):
The remake has been bad. Wow.
Like they then they do good. Wait a minute.
So is this going in the trash? I would put it in the trash.
We're here here folks. You're.
Here, I'll put it alone in the trash.
Alone in the trash. Yeah.
Alone in the toilet. It's not even like it's busted.
It's always been busted. Wow, so.

(55:08):
Bam. And that predates OK, That
predates Resident Evil Man. Yeah, yeah, respect dude, but
yeah, it did it not as good. He'll stick to here.
He'll stick to here. He's not.
Turbo. Well, Turbo inspired me.
He's not looking at the stones glasses.
You know, with the stones glass.Giving a real authentic opinion
of the game according to how it breaks for him today.

(55:30):
That's why I ended up in the trash.
I never played it because I was playing Breath of the Wild for
946. That's scary.
That's scary alone. The time invested.
Yeah, all right, Next game we got.

(55:51):
Clock Tower debuted September 14th, 1995.
Four mainline titles developed by Human Entertainment, Sunsoft
and Capcom, published by Human Entertainment, AC2 Entertainment
and Capcom. AC, AC All Right, OK AC
Entertainment, Capcom and available on Super Nintendo,
PlayStation, PC, Wonder Swan andPlayStation 2.

(56:14):
This is all wonderful. These are about to be all. 6.
Titles right here yeah, I played, I ain't played never
played this like that. I played like 3 par games series
really. Dude, Clock Tower has a special
place in my heart. Damn, really?
It does a special place in my heart?
Yeah, it's hilarious. It's such AB movie game.

(56:35):
That's the scariest villain I'veever seen.
It's the most silliest. There's some of the worst voice
acting on PlayStation I've ever heard.
Amazing man scissor man, but butmoving.
Slow as shit. It's point click, it's it's it's
own acquired taste. But you know what?
I had to have enjoyed this because I played the remake that
was the the Super Nintendo game redone and I played it and felt

(56:57):
like it was the PlayStation whenwhat, even though it was the
Super Nintendo? I got to find the footage man.
But the fact this was like the first game I played where you
hide and the bad guy can sometimes find you and stab you
or sometimes just leave. So that was terrifying.
Cause the music is just buildingup.
And he's like, where are you? Where are you?
And he's like right next to the door.

(57:18):
And you're like don't, don't because you have no idea.
Don't bring it. Do not stab through this
freaking door. Wow.
So and then he walks away and you're good.
But sometimes he'll just food. This just scissors right through
you. Scissor A scissor.
Giant scissor. Scissor walking around chasing
you with giant scissors. And he's creepy as hell cause
the sound of the shears is like shit shit.

(57:38):
I mean. I mean, he doesn't look creepy,
he's slow. He doesn't look scary.
Man, slow. He looks like he looks like
Salad Fingers before they made Salad Fingers.
Guy but Salad Fingers. Hello.
Yes, he reminds me of that. Wow, Hubert.
Cumber The. Scissors.
I wouldn't. It wouldn't surprise me if he
got inspired by this character. Rusty.
Spoons, but but I mean, listen, clock time.

(58:00):
I'm not saying this is the greatest game all the time.
It's not. It's not it's, it's cool.
I played two and two was horrendous.
What's the what's the way forward shit you played?
That was the Super Nintendo remake it.
Was good. It was great.
It was one I like 1. I like Clock Tower one and.
It was a remake on that. Yeah, yeah, but Clock Tower One
on PlayStation is the same as that game but in 3D.

(58:21):
Wow, Clock tower. But but 2 is so bad.
I played that and Reggie was helping me through it and I got
past like the first chapter. He's like, oh, I'm surprised
that you made it through that. No one ever does it.
Wow. So I'm pretty sure I can get
through the game if I really tried, but it's that game is
broken and it's not it's scary, but it's like I can kick the

(58:43):
kick the the chick who's chasingyou.
It's not the same as scissor manso.
Oh, is it chick chasing you? Yeah, there's multiple, multiple
bad guys in each chapter that doit I've.
Never been a fan of. I mean, I know there's a lot of
people that like the genre, but I've never been a.
Fan of the point? Click.
The point and click. It's rough, It's rough.
It's a niche genre. It's like a horror.
It's like a horror media. I like, I like watching like

(59:04):
manic, man. I could watch.
I could watch it. I don't want to play it at all.
I would love to watch the game. Same here.
I could watch a point and click.Yeah.
Do I want to play it? Not really, yeah.
Yeah, it has a certain charm which makes it not trash, but
it's it's just out of the trash,like.
Wow, so it's OK, took it out of the trash.
Take it out the trash and put itin the OK.

(59:24):
I think 1, I think 1 is classic,but the others like 3, they try
to do like they try to give it Polish, Capcom try to dabble in
it. Yeah.
And yeah, it's like, it was like.
Overall, what would you? What would you story was broken
in that too? Now guys, it's going OK.
I don't think chalk. I don't think this would scare
chalk. Yes it would.

(59:46):
Yes. What this murders?
But they look like cardboard characters.
This shit ain't scary. Look at that.
That ain't scary, man you. Can hear if you.
Talk. What do you say, man?
If you can hear the music, if you can hear the music and
attention to this dude coming upto stab you, it's it's.
That dude is corny. It's dead.
If I see man. It's terrifying.
You hear some terrifying if I hear some terrifying music and

(01:00:10):
then I'm like, oh shit, something's about to come out,
and then I see that stupid you die.
Brutally, you die. I am not.
But but there's multiple endings.
It's cool, it's cool. Like I said, I love the first
game. The second game was broken.
The third one didn't interest meand then it had a spin off was
like haunting ground. I believe you or something like
that. But and I watched that I was
like the story is nonsense, The story in three and in on the

(01:00:33):
ground and nonsense. So I was like, ah, I wish they
came out with maybe one that youcan control rather than point
and click. That'd be pretty cool.
And it would look horrible, likebut even the story in the person
was a student. But it's going OK for me.
I can't give it too much credit,but it's fun.
I'll recommend one. So at least it does something.

(01:00:55):
For PlayStation or Super Nintendo, yeah I recommend it,
but it's not great, especially with standards of the rest of
the horror games. And that so it's better than
alone in the dark. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It definitely is. I am.
But not by much. 2 is not 2 is not better than alone in the
dark. Damn, that's. 2 By itself that
was a bad game so. We're moving it to OK.

(01:01:16):
Yeah, yeah. I don't know.
Yeah, everything's got a category.
So far so good. Dude, he was hiding behind the
door and they used to close the door.
It's. Like that was trash.
That was, I remember that. That was not He's like that.
Was one of the endings he was still alive.
He's garbage. That ending was garbage.
Dude, imagine that dude with huge shears standing behind your
door. That guy out.

(01:01:37):
In your house with a messed up face in a hunchback?
That's terrifying. Y'all ready for the next?
I'm good on that. Go for all.
Right here we go, y'all. Dino Crisis debuted July 1st,
1999. Three mainline games developed
by Capcom Production Studio 4 published by Capcom, available

(01:01:58):
on PlayStation, Dreamcast, PC and Xbox.
I never played Dino Crisis but Iwould play a remake in a second.
What's wrong with the toes on that dinosaur?
I, I actually got, I remember before this came out in the
States, I actually got, I went to the, what was it the imported
video game store, and I got the Japanese import of this and I,
because it was still in English and I played the shit out of

(01:02:20):
this game. Yeah, because I was such a big
Resident Evil fan. This is Capcom's like, you know,
successor to, to Resident Evil, but we're dinosaurs.
And they did the same. They gave it the same type of
treatment where you know, like say look at this, the loading,
the loading shit that it's virtually the same.
It's Regina. But this game was creepy.

(01:02:41):
Man this shit scared the shit out of me.
Wait, what suit is that? I don't remember.
That outfit, I don't remember who this is this the beginning
because I have Joe that played this so long ago.
But just the atmosphere and the the Raptors I remember were
freaking tough man. And they were scary the way they
freaking came in. I'll tell you what they did
better than Resident Evil in this.

(01:03:02):
The Raptors or whatever can openthe door.
Yes, they can open the door, yesand chase you and.
They'll chase you, the backtrackand freaking get you, man That's
fine. So you always had to be on
guard. You had to always pay attention
to your surroundings, man, But yeah, this.
This was this was chilling rightthere.
He said, uh oh, I can't turn in this, he said too big.
Oh, hold on, who's that? A woman?

(01:03:23):
I can't, I can't. I can't say that this is better
than the Resident Evil series, but I will say it is a competent
horror game. Obviously, if you like Jurassic
Park, you like dinosaurs and stuff, this is that, but more
horror. And I'd say it's more
suspenseful, an actual, like, horror.
How many did you play in a series?
I only played the first one first.

(01:03:45):
Dude, I know they came out with three.
Yeah. 3 brings us down hard. I know it was bad.
It was not even. Yeah.
Dinosaurs in space. It had nothing to do with the.
Other ones at all like. Hold on, let me pull.
Let me see if I could pull up some footage.
It's like dead Dino crisis. And that's and shit like that
kills a series. Yeah, it definitely kills.
It's like fucking. And that was exclusive on Xbox.
Oh man. I think that was one.

(01:04:06):
I think that was one of the exclusives that they did.
Was it Xbox? Something exclusive?
Yeah, it's 360. Yeah.
By three it was Xbox. Chuck, did you?
Would you play a game with dinosaurs?
Yeah, of course. You what?
Yeah, but I'm not playing that. Yeah, but I'm not playing that.
This was back when the Tyrannosaurus Rex in a video
game could still terrify. You.
Oh my God. Because like Tomb Raider.
Look at this shit. Oh, this is nothing awful for

(01:04:28):
the jetpack. What game is?
This this is Final Crisis Three with the cybernetic.
It's not even the same shit. This is not Horizon.
And they had a cybernetic. Yeah, they had.
It's the third person shooter. This is awful.
This is not so. This go this.
If this was this, if this is thewhole franchise, this is trash.
Now they made it out trash. I'm only very.
I can only. What am I looking at?

(01:04:51):
Why are you so far? Away was he shooting this?
Is bad. Why are you so far?
Now this is bad. Yeah, so it's time to crisis one
in two. One in two exist.
Oh my God, 3 is not. I never played the second one, I
only played the first one. I played one and two long time
ago. Really full game.
Yeah, Oh, shit, I played these. That's what my Resident Evil fan

(01:05:12):
was going on. But I mean, listen, I, I, I
looked at it again, I played it then.
I liked it and enjoyed it. But I saw people play it like
last year when they were talkingabout maybe the remake might
happen, which should happen, by the way.
Yeah. Especially with the way things
look now. Come on.
But I watch people play it with the hype of it and it was let
down. Dude.

(01:05:32):
Nothing was happening. It was nothing but puzzles.
This is Part 2 right here. I have.
That's two. This is Part 2.
Two is better. It's more action oriented.
I mean, he's got a shotgun. Yeah, got it.
All Dead I. Thought it was that the chicks
are not the main character into I.
I never played two so I didn't. I didn't even know.
I couldn't tell you the story ofit.

(01:05:54):
I definitely couldn't tell you the story, but but yeah, it was
not. It's terrifying and not it's
like scary because when stuff pops out you can just run past
them. Like you literally just go past
them. I would say it's more suspense.
This isn't like horror horror, but this is like more suspense.
And they did that right. They did that good.
Just took the action part of Resident Evil, but there's a

(01:06:16):
lot. There's a lot less action in the
game. There's not really.
You're just running from stuff and doing puzzles.
I remember the first, I rememberthe first game, Final Crisis
one, like they had a, they had apuzzle and it did almost the
exact same shit that Resident Evil 2 did where they give you
the healing, the first aid, and then like a freaking dinosaur
pops through the freaking wall by the glass or whatever and

(01:06:38):
you're like, oh shit. So it gets you there.
But yeah, the T Rex fight, man, T Rex fight is.
Based on what I've seen lately and how it holds up and three is
so bad. Listen, I can prop 1 and 2, so

(01:06:59):
it's going in good for me. Yeah, about to say, it sounds
like a good. It sounds like I was going.
To say, well I only played the first one and then I and I don't
remember anything bad. If there's a series that needs
to be remade, it's this one. I think they could do so much
better now with attention and like with the graphics easily
because you can actually make itlook like a dinosaur.
What's the problem? Come on, Capcom.
Capcom is working on it. Capcom, I believe they they.

(01:07:21):
They released a dinosaur game recently.
Yeah, they tried. They they played.
That game again, they did. Yeah, it was like the number of
1000 dinosaurs falling. You had to shoot them all.
Yeah, it. Was.
And they had a fake Regina and it would have read wow when they
when they brought it out. And it's like, oh, it's just
some ecto suit thing, some some exo suit.
Hold on, let me. What the hell?

(01:07:42):
I'll say. You talking ectoplasm?
Yeah, but that's. Give me the name, I would look
it up. Dude that.
Was looking for it. Right now, huh?
I'm looking for it right now. Hold on.
Capcom Dinosaur Game Online trash.
Online. It was actually good.
It was. It was.
Five player. I heard it was good fun at

(01:08:03):
least, but they know everyone forgot what even that was
called. Yeah, I just.
Can't even search for it. I.
Was looking at oh here we go, Dinosaur Overwatch.
What the hell? No, nobody played this.
No, that's not the name of it. It's somebody.
No, that's. Cadillacs and dinosaurs.
What the Yeah Exo primal? Exo Yeah, I just.

(01:08:24):
Found it. So that's what Capcom did
instead of a remake, which is, Imean, that was a live service,
man, Live service. Had a great choice.
Not a great choice. Here it goes.
Live service. This is it.
I mean, it looked like Part 3, didn't it?
Yeah, I mean, just can't get away from Part 3.
It's. Yeah, it's an action game.
If I play it though live. Service.
That'll be pretty fun actually. It doesn't look bad.

(01:08:46):
No, but it's long forgotten. I'm surprised it's still on.
Mass produced the enforcer in the building.
Large on dev rage Dean what's good fanbo?
What up? Put up, put up.
But yeah, good for me. What do you think?
I agree. Yeah.
I didn't play it. I didn't play that shit.
I agree. Better than OK it's up for 3/3

(01:09:06):
is trash. I can't say it's trash.
We. Split it up.
Can we just put? Yeah, if we're, yeah, If we're
just judging it by I think, Nah,we got to you got to judge it as
a whole. I count it as not existing, so
they're lucky I did that, otherwise this would be just
above track. So we'll put it right behind
Fatal Frame. It's good.
That's fine. There we go.
All right, so next game we got. Alan Wake debuted May 14th,

(01:09:34):
2010, two mainline games developed by Remedy
Entertainment published by Microsoft Game Studios.
That was Alan Wake and Epic Games Publishing for Alan Wake
2, available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC.
Nice. Yo man, this series.
Who played Alan Wake? I did.
Not me. You didn't.
Of course that I don't. Know, yeah.

(01:09:57):
I played, actually I played the first Alan Wake.
I played American Nightmare. That the the I don't know if it
was DLC. Or DLC or extra game.
Yeah, but it was a long, it was a long ass game though, so it
was almost like a stand alone game.
But awesome story dude, I love it.

(01:10:18):
This probably has one of the best fucking narratives any
horror game I think it was that I've ever played.
I think it won best now. I had to won best now.
It's a freaking it's like watching ATV show, man.
It's in fact the way they set itup is like you're watching ATV
episode and each. Well, like Twin Peaks, yeah.
Like each chapter was like a like a season like season on

(01:10:39):
season. Even did the season recap.
Every. Chapter that you put, it's
awesome, man. It just cracks me up.
When you switch to AL's camera and he's talking.
Sorry man, it cracks me up. Man, crazy, you know?
I love Mario, you know? Can't talk serious when I have a
mask on this, that's the best part.

(01:11:00):
They call RGA shy guy. Yeah, but now the the concept of
this game and the narrative was like blew me away.
Your weapon is a flashlight. It's like the spiritual like
ghosts that that appear and thatthat you kill with, with light
basically. So if you're if you're near a
lamppost, they can't touch you and you have to get from point A

(01:11:21):
to point B basically without getting caught by these these
ghosts. The shadows from the game echo.
Yeah, same shadows. Yeah, right.
But definitely hit the the creepy atmosphere.
They really hit it on the the nail on the head on that.
The sound design is very good. I had a blast playing it.
But I, you know, what's fucked up is that I have the sequel, I

(01:11:43):
have Alan Wake 2 and I've had itfor what, 2 years now?
Haven't about it. It's been out like a year, a
year, a little, a little over a year.
Well, I've had it since it it came out.
Maybe I got it like a few monthsafter it launched and I never
got around to playing it, man. And it's it's killing me that I
haven't played this yet. But yeah, no, as far as the
series as a whole, I love the series.

(01:12:04):
I even like the I played a little bit of the remake that
they did that they rereleased. From they shit on that they said
they did the remake bad. I didn't.
I mean, I didn't. Did a terrible job on a.
Remake I didn't play enough of it to because I it's been so
long since I played this the theseries that oh gosh, I didn't
remember too much, but from whatI played, I didn't I didn't find
anything bad about the the remake I.

(01:12:27):
Just remember how beautiful the original was when it came out.
Like the fact that you're at a lake.
Yeah, it just looked like a movie.
I mean, look, this looks very similar to what you would play
now. It's it's the graphics were like
very, very well done. Yeah, it's that.
It reminds me of Alone in the Dark.
Yeah, if they did a good job when?
Alone in the dark If alone in the dark was actually good,
well, he's alone in the. Dark.

(01:12:48):
So I mean, it's pretty close. This is what the game is alone.
I mean, if you haven't played Alan Wake, I highly recommend
it. It's it's a dope, dope game is
highly polished. The narrative is one of the
best, like I said, but. The narrative is essential, but
yeah, I, I, I'm going to say it's great.
I can't put the whole series andsuch because I haven't played 2

(01:13:10):
yet, so I guess maybe it'll change if I play 2.
But two is considered one of thetop stand out titles when it
came out of the year, Yeah, and it was close to getting or if
did it not get game of the. No, at some point I think.
It might have gotten some. I think it got snubbed.
But it had the game of wars, Yeah, obviously.
But it had like the whole sing along the dead but but I've only

(01:13:32):
heard great things about two. I haven't played 2 yet, but one
stands as one of the top as far as like feeling like a movie.
But the combat, the game itself, honestly, you fight with the
light on your gun. It's simple.
You fight with a flashlight, basically.
It's simple, but had a gun, but it doesn't get too in depth.

(01:13:52):
Yeah, it's simple. It's a step above Silent Hill as
far as combat. But it doesn't need to be
though, because. It's no, no.
It focuses on other things. The narrative is so strong that
it doesn't really need to be that complicated as.
Far as finding, it's interestingas hell.
But it works. It works as a whole.
I want to play too. Apparently the in two you get
like guns and stuff. You get other weapons and stuff
that you that which people liked.

(01:14:12):
And there's a spin off on that too.
But and as you play like parts of the the show, yeah, that's
DLC. It really feels like you're
you're playing ATV show and you're like part of like a like
a silent, not silent. What the hell am I talking
about? Freaking I wanted to say
Twilight Zone is. What I'm trying to.
Say it's like it's, it seems like it has that vibe of of a

(01:14:34):
Twilight Zone. I was a little disappointed with
the boss of the first one. A little bit of a let down a
little bit, kind of. It could have went a different
way, but I would still give this.
I mean, I wish I wish I played through too.
I've seen obviously same and I've heard you know, I've read
reviews and stuff, but it's. Telling me that sensational.
I would still give this not quite an essential.

(01:14:57):
Yeah, sensational close to it. It goes in great.
Same. I think he should go in the
grid. Same, and that's only because I
haven't played too. I think they came out with three
and it was two players and not fun.
Then you would put it down to pay.
But they seem to have been doinga good job with Alan Wake.
And I'm glad that they're still bringing on the series.

(01:15:19):
Same world as control, I believe, too, right?
Yes. Is it?
Yes. Yes.
Oh shit. Because you could play a part,
Damn. It now it really makes me want.
To play establish shit with the character I think in Control's
world. Because I like that that that.
Game remember they announced that everyone forgot they
announced Control 2 with the trailer.
It was just a room. They announced Control 2.
You just reminded me I it was. Just a room.

(01:15:40):
Everybody thought it was the next Alan Wake to say control.
Yeah, they really announced too. They did.
I had. I had no.
A long time ago and I love patrolling.
Awesome. Awesome game.
I was surprised that they came out with another island.
Wake this. Just tell them about the story
that they had. It seemed like it was such a
well done yeah end cap to a movie.

(01:16:00):
I was like alright, I don't needanother one, but apparently
there's another one. Anybody out there in the chat?
You guys played Island Wake too?Let us know.
Should be played tonight. Yeah, yeah, right.
Charcoal streaming when he gets for Halloween Charcoal play part
he wanted to play. On Halloween night.
He actually chalk. I think you could play the first
Nope Alan Wake game and you would enjoy it Alan.

(01:16:22):
Wake is pretty creepy though. He wouldn't play it.
Those murders. Those murders are pretty creepy.
You could. It's light.
You could just. No.
How about? Maybe Chasey with axes and
stuff. He's done.
He's done. No, I'm doing.
Damn, I could tell you that. Damn man.
Good on that, I'm. Trying to talk him into playing
it. Man, what are you telling?
You're ruining it. Man, I think if you like

(01:16:43):
storylines though it, it would pull you in.
It would pull you in as a story from the very beginning.
Yeah, no, the story by far as far as horror game stories like
that, that 100%. I don't recommend playing in
remake though. I don't recommend playing a
remake or remaster. Shitty ass remastered.
Wow that's an AI remaster if youever saw it.
Damn. Remember, that's the thing I
don't. It just said make it look

(01:17:05):
sharper and they just put a few games.
To go. Let's go.
Let's go on in Great. All right.
And I already, I already put it in the rain.
Yeah, it's in a great category. Yeah, I already put it in there.
You good? Chuck Yeah, I'm ready.
Awesome. All right, so the next game we
got is. Outlast debuted September 4th,

(01:17:25):
2013. Three mainline titles, including
the Outlast Trials, developed and published by Red Barrels,
available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
That game looks creepier. Oh, this is.
Creepy you don't know to have. This game was this.
This came up before PT Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Pyt Yeah. So this was this is basically

(01:17:48):
like a scary version of hide andseek.
This is hide. I was gonna say it's hide and
seek. It is hide and seek this.
Is a scary version of hide and seek.
Like you have no way to defend yourself.
You have a camera and when it gets dark and then there's no
light, there's the there's like the night vision on the camera
is all you have. Yeah, there's less you could do
in this than in Fatal Frame. And on top of that your camera
and night vision bad like your but your batteries and your

(01:18:10):
camera you have to put batteriesto keep the camera.
On SO you can't use it. I have 0 interest otherwise this
shit scares 0. 0. Turner's got it.
I never finished this game. I never finished this game
because it was too much for me, man.
I was no. And then you got to hide in.
What was it? I got out to the part I was
hiding from the no. I kept getting caught because of
like. When you first play the hide and

(01:18:30):
seek aspect of it, it's the mostfrustrating thing in the world.
Well, you have they give you they give you a button to like
hold your breath and because youbreathe heavy when you're when
you're running, so like when you're hiding in the in anywhere
ever you're hiding, you have to like hold your breath and you
can only hold your breath so long, obviously, you know, so
it's like. No, this is this is one of the
most terrifying games I've ever played.

(01:18:50):
Yeah, ever played a lot of jump scares?
A lot. I did learn how to play though I
hate it in the beginning I was like I will never play this
again and. You can't defend yourself.
Turn this. Game no.
You have to run and have. To run you have to make it from
point A to point. BI learned, though.
I was actually learning how to play this and the big, like, the
big scary. Yeah, like.
The wheelchair one. Mr. X guy chasing you?
Yes, yes. Like I was learning how to get

(01:19:12):
around that guy. Yeah.
And I was like, oh, I'm about tobeat this game.
And I stopped because it's a stream.
I ended the stream, yeah. And then we went back to it, but
I was actually getting the hang of it.
Story wise, it's interesting that the setup of the story is
interesting. You're a reporter.
Get the hell out of the house. You're a reporter.
Get out. You're a reporter investigating
something that was going on in ain a in an insane asylum.

(01:19:33):
Job ain't worth it. And you're good.
Yeah, crazy. For real, man, The second you
saw someone fly at the door, I'mout the door.
Why are you still there? That look.
At you just see a whole bunch ofcrazy.
Leave. He didn't see.
How about you? Just leave.
I forgot why you get stuck. You do get stuck in the
building. Though I break the glass.
And the whole point of the game is just to try to get to escape
the freaking building. Yeah, but these psychos in here

(01:19:55):
trying to kill you. How many they mean what 2 of?
These, there was three of them, three of them, there's three of
them and there's DLCI think. Two, I heard.
I never, you know, I never played.
I only played the first one I saw. 2 The story's a little,
little crazy. But two look like Blair Witch
Project like it. Was in the wood forest.
Yeah, I saw the whole thing, butI couldn't get past.
I want to beat this game to say I've done it.

(01:20:15):
No man, I'm but I. It's yeah, I have 0.
Interest it's years of I forgot how to play so it's years
between playing this Oh man, I'm.
Good on. That one.
But it was a it was a hell of anexperience.
So we're replacing it. In the tier.
That's a great question. Dude for horror this has to go
in essential for me. Really.

(01:20:36):
Horrors essential. Well, it does do.
The job, it's the it's one of the scariest things I've played.
Like every turn is stupidly scary, almost to the point where
you can't play. And you finished it.
I didn't. I didn't finish the game.
I can't finish the game. It's terrible.
It's terrifying to play. That's too much.
I was like. I think if I continued like the

(01:20:56):
day after and I could have gotten through it.
I still should go back and learn, but you have to get the
feel of how to. Dude you have to memorize like
where the batteries are and shit.
Like, well, you have to get the feel of how to hide and what you
can get away with, what things are chasing and.
The timing and shit, I'm like. Oh St.
Asylum is crazy though. When you get caught, it's the,
it's the desk because it's a jump scare.

(01:21:17):
Every time you get caught it's like, no, that shit was too much
for me man. My heart can't take it.
Yeah, I'd say after you get usedto actually hiding and learning
how to get away, yeah, then it'sfun to play.
Not when you're terrified you don't know how to hide and they
keep finding. That's me.
That's how I. Played then it's awful.
Maybe I didn't know how to play this shit.
But it's horror. Play no games as horror.

(01:21:40):
I know the mechanics. You don't have weapons, so
there's no bad weapon to get, right?
Like there's no combat in the game.
You. Just have a fucking video camera
so. Yeah, No thanks.
I would still give this essential as in horror.
Wow, I don't know if I could give it an essential man because
I. Because all of them are
terrifying. But I I have to give it credit
because it does do the job because like for me, it doesn't

(01:22:03):
take much to like it takes a lotto scare me and for me to not
being able to not that the game was bad, but just not couldn't.
I couldn't even make it past. There, man.
It was just, I was just like, damn man.
It's not like they added clunky controls.
No the controls. Are fine.
Bad weapons. Everything is fine, but it did
the. Job not in it.
Yeah, dude. And then the audio too that

(01:22:24):
that's. Oh, it was crazy.
The sound design is fucking nutsman.
They did everything they needed to do to terrify.
You what does the chat think about Outlast?
Where does it belong? What tier does it belong in?
Because I'm going essential on this.
You're going essential. I wouldn't be mad if it went
great if they if you guys said great, but I would say it's one
of the scariest games that I've put, I've touched.

(01:22:47):
I would put it in under great only because I I can't put it
into the central because I can'tbeat the game.
Like if I beat the game then andI figured it because you you had
fun after you figured it out. Yeah, yeah.
I couldn't figure it out becauseI I was just like, dude, I keep
getting scared. Man, dude, you had to chase me
on. The wall now.
It was crazy. Turn that game but.

(01:23:08):
Yeah, turn that game. Yeah, I get rid.
Of we got a great and a central. For the chat, like what did the
chat say about outlast? Yeah.
What do you guys say? I know the last one that came
out was online multiplayer whichis terrifying.
Is this it's hide and seek? Throw some more freaking
footage. Oh my God.
Like a guy in a freaking wheelchair.
Dude, one of the biggest shock scares is right in the beginning

(01:23:29):
of this game. Like, Oh yeah, like 30 minutes
in the big if you can get past that shock, then you can play it
again. Having to hide in the fucking
locker. That's the worst part.
I was. Like, yo, I'm gonna have to hide
in the locker. And then you, you see through
the cracks of the locker and yousee them, you see them roaming
around. I'm like.
Oh, didn't play. We are across.
Look at that. That's what a scary sparse.
Do you climb up there? What the Hell's going on?

(01:23:50):
What's going on there? What's going on there?
Yo go turn this off. What is going on there?
Like some weird shit was crazy. I don't like that there game is
crazy. It was something Why was he back
there? What was he doing?
Turn turn that off. There's a lot of weird stuff.
Yeah. I don't.
I don't want to see anymore thatgame.
I don't like that scene. That was creepy.
The security guard got axed all right.
If you watch my playthrough, you'll see how scary it is.

(01:24:13):
That's when that's when Reggie called me the character from
Scooby-doo. Oh, he called you Shaggy, right
he. Said What are you from
scooby-doo? We screaming all about
everything because I was terrified.
And why are you screaming? Because I'm scared.
I can't play this game. So this can go either way.
It could go. It can go in the Great or
Central. If you need 2 votes I don't mind
putting in great, I think it's essential of my part playing but

(01:24:35):
I can understand I. Could say we could flip a coin.
I'm going to put in great. OK all.
Right. I'm not going to fight all day
for it to be an essential. It's just, it's just scary, all
right? So here we go.
We're going to put this on the grate.
Outlast goes on the grate. Here we go.
For me personally though, it's essential OK.

(01:24:58):
I'm not mad at that, man. I ain't playing it a lot.
Of yeah, not just people. I think I was so close, like
maybe an hour left. I really, yeah, I want to get
through the game. I couldn't feel me.
I do. My heart was pounding when I
freaked and I was like, yo, fuckthis game man, the Baba said.
Wait, what? Did I just see exactly what was
going on in that scene? I don't.
I don't want to see that. Ever.
I don't want to the monetization.

(01:25:20):
Was happening exactly. So it's the same thing that
happened in my stream I. Ain't like that shit at all.
No warning at all. Alright, what's next?
What's next? He's fully.
He's fully closed. Yo, alright, next game we got.
Amnesia debuted September 8th, 2010 for Mainline Games
developed by Fictional Games. The Chinese Room, A Machine for

(01:25:43):
Pigs published by Frictional Games, available on PlayStation,
Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. Never played.
Yeah. Never played.
I never played either but this is like after our last came out.
A lot of games are coming out around the same time, like doing
the same type of formula. I've heard this at the top tier

(01:26:03):
in horror, right? Number one game for horror,
Yeah. I've never played it though.
Our friend on PC. Big on PC.
Our boy Nap Time Nick was a fan of this game.
I remember him telling me about this.
He's like, yeah, this is he's a horror game fanatic.
It never caught me because it's first person for the most part.
That's why. That's why I even outlast.
It's hard for me to play right but it never intrigued me to

(01:26:25):
play this game. But I heard online and I've read
tons of people saying, what's the number one scary game to
play? Amnesia.
Amnesia, yeah. You know, a lot of people sweat
this game, but I we never playedit.
None of us here played it. So looks like puzzles to me.
I don't. I'm not playing a whole game
like this. A puzzle you would.
Think I would like this because there's puzzles but I don't

(01:26:46):
horrible. It just doesn't do it for me
man. And probably maybe the it's the
audio design that's good. But yeah, yeah, definitely good,
you know, definitely I haven't spirit all day.
I gotta watch like a playthroughwith audio.
This is the round of time when Slender Man and stuff is getting
popular. Yeah, all those, all those first
person horror games. Like creepy creepypastas.

(01:27:06):
I think this is part of Yeah yeah, could be wrong.
No thank. You so it never played it's.
Going it never played. It's going it never played y'all
first. Another turbo, Did you play it?
I forgot to ask Turbo. Amnesia.
I. Forgot.
I forgot I I forgot I played. It I knew you.
Didn't say I was. Playing from the wild for $3567.

(01:27:31):
You know I still haven't upgraded the Master Sword and
you know, keeps on praying. Good on me.
He would, he would have definitely said I forgot.
That was definitely the gem I forgot, forgot if I enjoyed it.
Amnesia. All right, that's only the first
I never played. Wow.
Never played Wow. There's going to be more.

(01:27:52):
Oh yeah, Because we're I, I can't even think of another one
I've played. Actually, there's going to be
more. So here we go.
Next game. Layers of Fear debuted February
16th, 2016. Three mainline games, including
the 2023 remake reimagining developed by Bluber Team,
published by A Spear and Bluber Team, available on PlayStation,

(01:28:13):
Xbox, Nintendo Switch and PC. Oh wow, Liberty made this.
They made the remake of us. I know too.
I mean, this looks like the same, just a different room.
Yeah, it looks the same. I mean it looks way more
polished. It does, but layers of fear I've
never I've heard I've heard of this game, never was interested

(01:28:35):
and I never played this. I know the pass out code now
though. But no, I never even heard of
this game. I heard of this.
I saw that, actually, I did see the cover.
I've just never, I've never seena game.
Never was interested in ever because this again this is like
around a time all these first person.
So it's probably gonna be like the next 5 or 6 are gonna be
first persons, just one more after this one.

(01:28:57):
Yeah, this one goes and never played.
You can get this out of here. This is never played.
Yeah, he's good. As out of here, Layers of fear
goes into never play isn't. Any good?
Anything that we've never played.
I don't know if anyone in the chat's ever played this.
Let us know in the chat if it's any good, these games that we've
never played, yeah. Amnesia and layers of.
Fear, I'm just telling you, not first person.
It's gonna be hard for me to play like that.
And then the other game that's solid, the other game on the

(01:29:22):
list here, Next up. The Forest debuted April 30th,
2018 with two mainline games developed by N Night Games
published by N Night Games and New Night available on
PlayStation and PC. PlayStation, what does that?
Cover. For PS1.
What PlayStation? That's false advertisement.

(01:29:43):
He's in The Cave. No, he's in the forest, man.
He's in the forest. A cave.
Forest. A cave in the forest.
It's a cave in the forest. Man I never heard of this game
first of all. It should.
Be not only have I never played,I've never heard of this.
It should be the descent, yeah. But yeah, how's this?
Are you guys scared to look at this?
This? What is this?
I mean, he's got a torch like asan axe.

(01:30:05):
I mean, that's pretty smart. Kind of, unless it burns the axe
off. But what's like, is there a
ghost or anything? Like there's no nothing
supernatural. There's no.
I mean, I'm guessing is forest animals.
Forest animals. So it's a survival game, not a
horror game. I don't know.
It could be, I don't know what'swhat's the?
Bad. This is getting luggage, people
are kidnapped or something, I don't know.

(01:30:26):
Well, we never played it. Yeah.
So never played, Yeah. Never played Luggage I.
Never even heard that title in the same.
No the same. We've never played Luggage
Simulator in our lives. Doing research for this, I was
like, what the? Never heard of that?
Never heard of that either. What?
The I mean, there's a time you go PC, there's a ton of hard
games I've never touched. Yeah, but we're going off of

(01:30:46):
franchises, that's why, Because if we were going to do
individual games, it'll be like 200 games be too many.
What else we got next on the list?
Just making sure it's set up right.
All right, next on the list we got.
The Last of Us debut June 14th, 2013.
Two total mainline games, and and plus an upcoming stand alone

(01:31:09):
multiplayer project was developed by Naughty Dog,
published by Sony Computer Entertainment and Sony
Interactive Entertainment, available on PlayStation and PC.
I'm going to save you guys the, you know, the talking essential.
I mean, we've mentioned this game one and two so many times
on this channel and it's just it's perfection.

(01:31:32):
It's a masterpiece. I always forget to put this in
the category of heart. I know right?
It is, but it. Is they have like zombie things
and all that. Yeah, I mean from the, I mean
the story, obviously from as faras a stand a franchise
standpoint, from the show to thefreaking games, it's it's a
masterpiece. It's masterfully done.
Oh. No, it's definitely essential.

(01:31:53):
It's a top two, top 2 of any. Chalk you play, you play through
these chalk compete this game. Even I even I played through
both of these. Games look at those Games look
at. That.
That says a lot. The second horror game.
See, you got another one. Chuck, you're, you're a horror
game fan. You just be fronting.
You'd be fronting. Yeah, I'm not, but yeah, no,
this, this is this is essential, man.

(01:32:13):
I wouldn't mind a Resident Evil like this.
Interesting. Cuz I never thought of resident
playing like 10. I would like the.
Only one I could play, I would could picture like this would be
Part 3. That's what about the one that's
coming out nine 9. I don't know what that plays
like. If it I'm saying like what if it
plays like this? Like they change the I don't
know, I don't. Know I wouldn't be mad at it.

(01:32:33):
Yeah, that would have been. I don't.
Know if they gave you more things to.
Do cuz The thing is it has to feel like resident duo, right?
Like when you change, when you change the gameplay, when you
change the like, it's kind of like, obviously we'll talk about
this next week, but like how Double Dragon went to 3D, right?
It has to feel like Double Dragon.
What if you have to sneak aroundthe zombies?
That's not Double Dragon. That's Double Dragon.
That's not like that aspect in residence.

(01:32:55):
I mean, it has to be. Done right, the red the the
chasing like you gotta hide as long as they they chase you.
They have the safe, they have the the safe room, they have
the, you know, the typewriters. It's pretty close.
The elements. I just, I just don't want to be
fighting humans in residence. No, not human.
No, no, no. Like this with the zombies,
Yeah. But they added stuff for your
character to do besides just walking around and shooting.
Yeah, I don't want to do anything else.

(01:33:16):
Wow. Like for a bottle or something.
I want to be mindless. I want to be mindless.
Get out of the room. No, we were saying that before,
like I would I wish they would do like an A little open world
ish in Resident Evil, which but when you go to when you go to
different like warehouses, they're like fixed camera, but
the main world is open world like Last of Us.
That'd be pretty cool. That'd.
Be interesting. I'll be.
I'll be. I like it.

(01:33:36):
No, for something to for them tochange the formula would be
nice, nothing crazy. Definitely not.
But I'm saying like a big, a bigdeparture wouldn't be, it
wouldn't work. They're like, we did change it.
We made it first person. Go fuck yourself, yeah?
Yeah, yeah. But yeah, essential, man.
Essential, yeah. It's definitely essential.
I'm not gonna argue that that's that's like.

(01:33:58):
Yeah, easy. Essential goes right up there,
man. Agreed.
It was right up there. All right, if the brutal.
Brutal game. A few left, a few left, so the
next one here we got. Until Dawn The Dark Pictures
Anthology debuted August 25th, 2015.

(01:34:19):
Five total mainline games including the Dark Pictures
Anthology and one upcoming developed by Supermassive Games
published by Sony Computer Entertainment.
That was Until Dawn, then BandaiNamco Entertainment.
The Dark Pictures Anthology, available on PlayStation, Xbox
and PC. Man, I wish it was just Until
Dawn as part of as what I'm voting on because that game is

(01:34:41):
crazy. Loved it.
I forgot I I bought a lot of those other games too.
The dark What is it? The dark something the.
Quarry Pictures Anthology. The dark pictures this.
The quarry, whatever, and. I bought like 4 of the dark.
I only played like three of themthough.
I still have one I didn't even open yet.
The dark web. But the main one, the main
obviously the the flagship. Listen, if it was just this, it

(01:35:04):
feels just this. It's essential for me.
This is amazing. This game is amazing as far as
what it did and what it does. It's the Ultimate Team like
horror movie and they flub the movie up so bad.
Oh, you saw the movie. Yep, oh Yep, they ruin them.
Oh, we got to watch. We got to.
Well, obviously that's going to be a.
A a list of that was not the same dude, Not the same at all.

(01:35:25):
Not even close. Not even close.
And it's messed up because this is considered they have
Hollywood actors in the game. OK, but I guess they were too
old, I don't know, or too much all the time.
They came back out with the movie, Why wouldn't they play
their parts over it? I don't understand.
Out of the franchise, I only played the first, obviously
Until Dawn. I didn't play the The Quarry or
anything you played. I have the quarry, I have the

(01:35:46):
Medan, so whatever. It's Midian or some shit like.
That some Medan naked Midian. There's another one I have and
one I didn't get but they were pretty cheap and actually
there's a sale going on right now Steam on Humble Bundle.
Oh, Humble Bundle. Humble Bundle you pay 15 bucks.
You get all of them except this one.
This is not in it but you get all the dark pictures,
anthologies and a few other horror games for 15 bucks.

(01:36:08):
I was like, wow, it's like 8 games.
Yeah, I don't need that. But.
Truck needs to stream this man. Yeah, it's just.
Halloween, man, come on. It's kind of like Telltale, the
way they tell the game. It's a Telltale, yeah.
You can select like, choose yourown adventure type stuff.
Kind of, Yeah, I'm telling you no.
So as far as entertainment, Until Dawn is top tier.

(01:36:33):
But the other ones, their stories, I kind of guessed the
story at the very minute that itstarted and it was the story.
I was like, ah, that's not A twist.
This is garbage. I know the story and I'm only an
hour and don't mess with me, butI made a mistake.
And these games, like if you mess up and someone dies, the
whole narrative changes. Like you cannot go back the

(01:36:53):
second they die, your game savesand if he was the main character
our whole story's over. I don't know the story, but I
would threaten them. It's like, it's like Detroit.
Become human. Yeah, that was changed the whole
game though. Yeah, that was my main dudes
fell off a ladder. I'm like, I will never play this
again. I don't want to play this again.
So I stopped playing after that stream.

(01:37:14):
I never, never beat the game. And all you got to do is just
select stuff and get to the end, right?
I didn't touch it right and I didn't even open the other one
because I didn't beat that one. But.
Then you got to remember your past.
What was he doing? Yeah, it was some dance moves.
He's. Doing killing it, man.
He's killing it. I think this is the remake.
Can you kill him? Now, no, man, you don't kill
any. No, but I think I made it

(01:37:35):
through that first game without killing anyone.
Actually, that's a surprise. Yeah, even the hard stuff.
I said I passed. It.
I couldn't resist, man. I know I killed everybody.
Second test, second plate thoughI killed everybody.
I did it the wrong way the firsttime and I was like kill him
fuck. It if you enjoy popcorn horror,
Until Dawn is top tier, and if it was just that I was going for
a golden essential. But because the other ones are

(01:37:55):
there, they're not bad. Listen, Macquarie isn't bad.
It was actually pretty good. It kind of was a little long
though. That game was long, yeah, but
didn't hold up compared to UntilDawn.
So I would give it over all thatseries and that type of game
would go in good. I would put the whole franchise

(01:38:18):
in good. But like I said, Until Dawn is
essential if it was one title. I can only I can only vouch for
Until Dawn because that's the only one I played.
Such a good game. Yeah, that would be essential.
But knowing that as a franchise, because I haven't played the
other ones. And it did a remake that kind of
got shattered on also. Damn.

(01:38:39):
They didn't do well with the update.
So because the other ones weren't like, I wish it was the
same franchise like Until Dawn too or you know.
Like that was a rumor? If they kept it going, yeah,
yeah, yeah. Then I'd be like, all right, but
I'd say good is. The Quarry was kind of like a
sequel, Yeah, it was actually like a prequel, actually.
With same characters and everything.

(01:39:00):
No, no, no, no. Story.
Story wise they could have been a prequel.
Are they all in the? Are they all in the same?
Universe, there's no connection to these things as far as I
know. I could be wrong, but yeah, I'm
putting it in good, not great. All the games aren't that great.
Good, it is. All right, All right.
Yeah, it. Sucks though because Until Dawn

(01:39:21):
is so good. Until dawn.
Highly recommend Until Dawn. Until dawn yo.
I do recommend it too. The story is just as good as
this guy Alan Wake. Story.
It's fun, yeah. A lot of nonsense happens
though. Here we go.
Speaking of fun. The Walking Dead debuted April

(01:39:42):
24th, 2012. Four mainline games plus one
miniseries developed by TelltaleGames and Skybound games
published by Telltale Games and Skybound Games.
Available on PlayStation, Xbox, PC, Nintendo Switch, PS Vita and
mobile. Correction the telltale Walking
Dead, not the. Not.
The freaking. Terrible first person cash grab

(01:40:04):
that. That was released.
The telltale walk. Yeah, the tell tale Walking
Dead. My bad.
I forgot they had like 2 really bad ones that they came.
Out and there's like 5 Oh no, there's a lot of bad Walking
Dead games and. They're not franchises, thank
God. Yeah, so we'll.
Leave those out and they refuse to go to state of the K over
there. I don't know why though.
Tell Tale The Walking Dead is one of my favorite overall

(01:40:27):
stories in gaming. So much so many fields, so much
so many tears. He said so many.
Tea, by the way, So many tea. By the way, I picked up the
whole The Complete series on steam.
Yes for 5 bucks. Yeah, the complete.
Yeah, I paid. 6 Even though the shit that was like wow.
There's a RE, there's a redone one.
Yeah, the high definition. The whole thing 5 bucks.

(01:40:48):
Yep. You know what happened?
I bought it for like 40 that same week as a sale for 6 bucks
for all of it. I said I didn't start it, so I
returned it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And then I bought it again. Even if you started if you only
played well. That was before I was like, yo,
I wasted my money, but now I gotit back.
But how many people played you? You played, you played it.

(01:41:09):
I played a bunch of them, not all.
You still need to get through episode 3.
Yeah, I think I have. I know exactly what you had in
the. Story.
I played 1/2, I played Machones.I played the one where there's a
bunch of random characters, but I did not play the third part.
Which I'm still waiting now for you to play.
I played one and two the the 400.
You didn't get through the wholething.
Yet no, I never got through. Wow.

(01:41:31):
I never got through the whole thing yet, man, but that's why I
bought the freaking. When I saw the sale, I was like,
you know what, now I can get through it now.
You should do it for Halloween. It should be it.
Yeah, it should. You didn't get up to the Spanish
family, right? No, I don't remit, See.
That's chapter 3, yeah, yeah. Yeah, I think it was well.

(01:41:51):
I don't. Want to?
I don't want to ruin it, man. But yeah, I think I know what
you're talking about. Yes.
OK, yes. But.
They had an interesting diet. That's what I'll say.
So we're replacing this in the in the cheerless.
Well, for me, yeah, this is essential.
This is best. This is the best Telltale could
ever do. And it's the same type of game
as like Until Dawn. You played other Telltale?

(01:42:13):
I played, yeah, man, I played all of them and stuff for
Batman, which is surprising. I played the Batman one and that
was dope. I played all of them but Batman.
Where would I put this? Considering you didn't finish, I
don't know what you put it. Yeah.
Because I hadn't finished the story, but I did play a bunch of
them. They have a knack for telling

(01:42:33):
really interesting stories. I thought the main story was
top. The other stories were good.
I do need to to play the last part.
I would give it. What I've seen so far are great,
but I would need to see the last.
Story. Yeah.

(01:42:54):
Just to finish that one, cuz that one was the you know, but I
still have to compare it with the other spin off ones which
were good. They were good.
Not as good as the main. Of course.
The good the main is, you know, should be ATV show.
Yes, definitely. I think they missed the
opportunity. I mean they could still do it,
but I mean it's definitely should be ATV show.
But yeah, I mean, I like, I giveit a great.

(01:43:16):
They actually make your decisions worth something.
Yeah. So yeah, I can't, I can't
recommend this highly enough. Great.
Great acting. Great acting.
Freaking like talking about getting emotional, man.
I did it also, yeah. And I was like, damn, this shit
really hit me, man. It's really, and it's depressing
as shit. Maybe that's probably why I

(01:43:37):
didn't. Maybe I delay games like that
really like I don't want to put myself.
No, it's it's very emotionally draining.
That's how you know it's good. But the acting's top tier.
Exactly. It's top tier acting.
I enjoy cheesy or any of that shit.
I enjoyed every moment. The the quick decisions that you
have to make are just they've just done so well.
And the stories, of course, are just so like, you just want to

(01:44:01):
know what happens next. You want to know who you want to
know who to trust. You know, just like when you're
watching the show and you're like, oh, who, who's going to
turn? Who's this guy?
You know, I feel the same way. I would even settle for a show
made with the Arcane animation. You know, they want to do that.
Like I would settle that that. Would be kind of.
Fine, that would be sick, man. Netflix, are you listening?

(01:44:22):
Either either or no. It's a great story.
Even though I haven't finished the series, I'm still I'm
actually going to go with with sticks and say it's it's
essential, man, because I I want, I like really want to
finish the series. Dude, if you want to know
emotion like I have that the finale is online, me streaming,
the finale is online and I kind of I almost wanted to delete it
because I was like, dude, I am bawling on this right now.

(01:44:45):
Like really crying online streaming live.
I'm like, dude, this is crazy. Yeah, I don't.
Know if I want to stream it now.I was still enjoying whatever
and I said what happened but it was like I was like they did
such a good job and brought me to tears.
It's like, it's like the reason to because like if there's any

(01:45:06):
game that you play, you know, like Last of Us 2 is emotional,
but you get to play through it. You know, like you shoot people,
you do all these things and the strategy of all this is like a
you're choosing choices. So it's all you're basically
choosing. It's like a choice made TV show
that you're playing. Through so that's not the story.
Yeah, so like, I got to be in the mood to get depressed.
Like. How do I get into a mood to get

(01:45:27):
depressed? You're getting fucked up because
the choices. You're in.
Yeah, yeah. No, it's a, it's an art.
It's an art form. Every medium, every medium is an
art form. So it's like, you know, you get
to appreciate the storytext telling, even if it is
depressing and stuff like that. It's not just like, Oh my God,
as soon as I hit stardom, start crying right, right, right, but
it's just the build up to to that is the fuckery I.

(01:45:47):
Still think the first chapter isthe best story arc.
That's dope. That's the best story arc in the
world. I'm still.
Mad about it. I was pissed.
I did something that you have tomake that into a movie or or
show. Definitely a show.
Chuck, you played the tell tale.Nope.
Walking that, No, that's just not even.
That's not even a horror. Yeah, like you would like.
That's like you watch the show. Here I watched it but I stopped.

(01:46:10):
See, you're the one of those guys.
Oh, so you're one of those? You were a fan, you say?
I I saw one of the episodes pissed me off royally.
No, I'm not good. Let me guess.
I think it was like the game I do.
All honesty man, no joke. All jokes aside, I think you
would like. It's a storybook where you

(01:46:31):
choose. Yeah, I might have it downloaded
on somewhere. It's worth it's worth the
playthrough. Man they were free on game pass
I think. You got a few for free, at least
the first two chapters or so. Yeah, I think just stream it,
man. Yeah, I know, I know.
I think, Chad, we want to see you stream that.
No. You make the mistakes.

(01:46:51):
Yeah. Actually, is what you're wanting
to do. The chat chooses.
That's a good idea. No platforming, no jumping, no
nothing. It's simple, it's just every
choice has a consequence, though.
That's the thing about the game that I like.
Masterfully done. Yep, it's like shoot Harry or
Sally. Oh, Harry's gone all right.
We're putting this an essential We're killing the dude first.

(01:47:15):
What kind of world? All day the dude's dead.
First telltale Walking Dead hotel Walking Dead gets in the
central right. Definitely put it in there, man.
You know, even if it was in the great category, but I, I kind of
the fact that I want to finish it says a lot.
The amount of tissues I had, yeah, but the tears.

(01:47:35):
Tears. Oh my.
Bad. Damn, what's the next tears next
game? Little Nightmares debuted April
28th, 2017. Two mainline games with a third
in development, developed by Tarsia Studios. 1 and 2 Super
Massive games developed 3 published by Bandai Namco
Entertainment. Playable on PlayStation, Xbox,

(01:47:57):
Nintendo Switch, PC and Stadia. There's no such thing as stadia.
The I watched the playthrough, that's the third one's Co-op,
right? It's not, it's not.
It's out. It's out.
Yeah, I watched Corey Kenshin play it.
It actually looks pretty cool now this game is creepy.
I have the first one. That's part of the deal too.
Part of the Dark Pictures deal, really.

(01:48:18):
One two in a tans version. Oh, I got a check now. 15 bucks
you got all those games checked out.
I played the first one. I remember the first one was on
sale on on the Switch 1. Yeah, you can find them pretty
cheap. I probably I have 1:00 and 2:00.
And this is a this is a competent game.
It it's it reminded me of what is that inside?
Inside. It reminded me of that

(01:48:39):
basically. Very, very similar.
Is it the same as outside? Turbo.
Damn Turbo. Terrible.
What the Hell's wrong with you, man?
Why you got to interrupt with a bad joke?
What do you need anyway, As we were saying, no, but I like this

(01:49:00):
is like as far as like horror, horror.
It didn't scare me. Scare me.
It's just creepy. It's on the hide and seek game.
Yeah, but it's it's creepy. Creepy.
It's some good designs. Yeah, it's like, oh, this
motherfucker's after me. Yeah.
Yeah, it was. Horror, horror.
And it scared you, but you couldplay it, play it.
But yeah, I like the good guy. Oh boy.

(01:49:23):
But yeah, I didn't play these games yet.
I watched them. I've seen a bunch of.
I've seen it and. I never played it.
They look cool. They look like you said.
It's like a hide and seek. They look fun, but.
I didn't know, Oh, you're running.
You're running from things I didn't.
Know the third one was Co-op. Man, that's cool.
Yeah, yeah. I don't know if the second one
was a might, I'm not sure. I don't know, it might be I.
Never played it. But I'm not sure.

(01:49:43):
But yeah, atmosphere and everything, creepy designs, all
the art, super creepy. That's why it's a nightmare.
But I haven't played it to give it any rating.
Well, from what I played, even though I haven't played the
second or the third one, the first one was very good.
So I would say it's good. They're on the same level,

(01:50:06):
Whatever. Did you beat it?
Got close to the end, Never beatit though, but it's still good.
I enjoy it every moment. My dude just died, yeah.
He thought. About it, he said the little
nightmares nailed creepy. Yeah, it's super.
It's. Super well, the like the the
lighting is the lighting and theenemies, the enemies that they
have are very creative, like creepy enemies, man.

(01:50:27):
In part three, you had this likespider, spider lady or whatever.
Like she's working here. It's creepy.
Like her arms. It's just.
Oh, you don't like spiders? That's.
Why wait wait. Was it Madam?
What? No.
Oh. My God, man.
Turbo. Damn Turbo.
Turbo, what the Hell's wrong, you know?
What do you mean, man? What with the spider lady?

(01:50:47):
She's one of the spider ladies. You know what I'm saying, man?
I do want to play these Chuck atsome point.
I know it doesn't take too long to beat them either.
They don't seem like. No.
Hours and hours of gameplay. No, I forgot where I stopped
though. But there's another game.
I think it was like animal animal some like.
The animal. Animal, animal, re animal, I

(01:51:11):
think it's called. I think it's called re animal or
something. That's where the developers are
making the people who made one and two are making that which
looks similar to Little Nightmares.
OK, but looking forward to that one too.
But yeah, they they, it's creepyas hell.
I can't put it anywhere. So where Poison?
It I'm going to put this under good y'all Little Nightmares is

(01:51:33):
good and it's only because I haven't played the second or the
third one. Actually I'm interested in the
third one for the coop. It's creepy dude, I'll give you
that. Yeah, no, they get they nailed
the atmosphere and the creepiness and the creative
enemies. All righty the next game we have
we got 3 more left. Oh shit, next game shit.

(01:51:53):
This is very popular. Five Nights at Freddy's debuted
August 8th, 2014. Nine plus mainline games
developed by Scott Kathlon, Published by Scott Cawthon and
Quick Team. Steelwood Studios.
Available on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, Mobile
and VR. VR That's insane.

(01:52:15):
Who the? Hell would do this.
Yeah. No, thank you.
I've never wanted to play these.I did watch Corey Kenshin play a
bunch of these. I've seen a bunch.
There was only one in particularthat looked a little creepy.
The rest was just like, kind of corny.
It's boring, but there was one. I was just like, you know what?
That scene was actually pretty unsettled.

(01:52:35):
Yeah, there was one there. Was one, there's always there
was one of the last ones he played.
Was unsettling. But other than that, they're
not. They're like, not scary at all.
No. I think this would be more scary
if we were kids like. Oh, I'd be, I'd be traumatized
if I was a kid. Yeah, if we were young.
I think that's the. Demographic.
Because my I have a Co worker who's his kids are in love with.
Actually, Jababa said it best. If you ask my kids essential, if

(01:52:58):
you ask me trash, Yeah, I've never found them scary.
I really never found. But there was that one I said.
That was weird. You know, these have gotten
better, the games have gotten better, but where it originated
with the cameras and like Security Breach looking, I mean,
that's one of the game. I think it.
Couldn't deal with it. It seems to me, even though I
haven't played it, it seems to me like this is like the

(01:53:18):
Goosebumps versus like Twilight Zone, Yeah.
I probably would have been like,I always looked at this and
said, what is scary about that? Yeah, like the way they pop out.
I was like, all right, that's a cheap ass pop.
That's like, oh. But those animatronics are like
whatever. It just feels like night trap
but with like animatronic. But I mean, if you got a kid
stuck in that thing in the the bolts and popped them, the

(01:53:40):
spring popped them in there, that's pretty gross.
So I understand why it's it's weird.
Like it's it's a malfunctioning robot that snapped the kid.
That's wow and they chase you totry and to try and kill you.
But going from the first game I'm like this is trash.
But as far as what it is I I would say where was.
I never played any of. This, but it evolved into

(01:54:00):
something. I never played any.
I say it's it's more entertaining to watch somebody
play this. It evolved into something quite
good. It did.
Yes, well, you played it. No, I saw it.
I saw it from the beginning and I saw a stupid lore Like there's
so much online about and it was a bad movie.
This is huge man. This I saw that movie also.
You did yeah, it was not did notstand up.

(01:54:22):
But and then the reason people get into this game is because of
the lore and you know, you had what do you call it?
It's just the game theory. Game theory talk about it.
And he had like non-stop episodes of like what might be
the reason and who's the guy in pink and all this stuff like I
know the story. It's interesting, yeah, but

(01:54:42):
that's like the epitome of creepypasta online.
That story just kept evolving, evolving, evolving.
That's why there's nine plus titles of it, dude.
It's one dude. It's it's popular, man.
And the games they get better, the games they get more like a
horror game where you're runningfrom things.
It's a it's a horror game for kids.
It's still, I still think it's garbage.
Whenever I see it get played, I'm like, I don't, I don't ever

(01:55:03):
want to play this. I never want to play Five Nights
at Freddy's. Whatever it is, I never care.
It's just too much juggling multiple things at the same
time. I don't care so.
Did any of us play it? No, it's.
Going in there, it's going to never play.
Never. Played somebody's gonna be like,
no, that's my entire. Life that's like, hey, we didn't
play it well, we never played it, so we're just going by what

(01:55:25):
we see people play. That's like that's like us
saying trash. It's because we don't like it,
right. It looks you know, but we never
played it. So Pokémon will go in and never
played for me. Pokémon will go, Pokémon will go
in the trash for me. I mean, there's a lot of games
for Minecraft Pokémon. Yeah, and there's a lot of I
played. Pokémon in red.
Pokémon. Oh shit.
Oh no. No Pokémon.
Oh no. I.

(01:55:45):
Said I played the game Pokémon. Yeah, yeah, shut.
Up. Oh, you got to be specific.
And you're sitting here wearing red, bro.
Like shut up. That's why I'm scared bro.
Come on man. Stay away.
Go. Stay away from me.
Let me. Start.
Wow, five nights at Freddy goes into never played and never.
Plays yeah, Never played two left y'all What's?

(01:56:07):
It going to be I'm not spread. My bad Manhunt debuted November
15th, 2005. Two mainline games developed by
Rockstar N Rockstar N published by Rockstar Games available on
PS2, Xbox, PC, PlayStation 3 andthe.
Wii I only played the first one,I never played the sequel.

(01:56:30):
I think a lot of people have. But from the from what I
remember, because this is I played this for a long last time
ago, this was really good. Yeah, it's this GTA4, man.
Well, no, it had. Oh. 3 Whatever.
It's basically like a hide and see.
It's like a stealth. Yeah, it's a stealth game.
It's no horror horror game. Never interested me.
I did. I was intrigued by like videos

(01:56:51):
of it. No, it was fun.
They put a fucking crowbar. No, you're a serial killer.
You just go around and murder. Speaking around, murdering
people. It was fun.
It was actually fun. Was this after Bully?
I think it was after really I don't.
Even remember man, this is so solong ago.
I just. Remember this in Thrill Kill all
day. I'll tell you one thing, I'd be

(01:57:12):
interested to know how this would hold up as a remake.
Like if they remade this. Please, it'd be too too graphic.
It's not hating, man. It'd be too graphic.
That's never too graphic nowadays.
Oh yeah. Mortal Kombat bro come.
On they would do Mortal Kombat fatalities on each step.
But not like, look at the camera, look how far back it is.
Like they could, they could modernize it, you know?

(01:57:33):
I get def jam vibes. Yeah, it's got a little.
Def. Jam but I'm I'd be curious to
know if they would ever remake this.
First of all, it's Rockstar. They only make two games now.
Wow, if they ever ever ever remake this I'd be interested to
see this. Absolutely brutal game.
Still can't get some of those kills out of my mind.

(01:57:54):
It is, it is, and that's back then.
Yeah it never intrigued me so I never I think I did like maybe a
few kills and I was like yeah, they didn't do it for me yeah
wow, I wasn't much of AI mean. I like Silent Hill intent you
but didn't do it for me for sneaking I I.
Look. That I really want to make if
they want to have a stealth in their back.

(01:58:15):
From what I yeah, sure. From what I remembered, I I did
enjoy the game. I'm going to give it a good.
You're looking doing the stars of your glasses.
Nostalgic glasses. Damn it Turbo man, leave me
alone. I'm not wrong though.
I'm not wrong. Nostalgic glasses.
You're wrong, man. You're wrong.

(01:58:35):
The graphics I mean you. Can give it.
OK. Exactly, exactly.
I think good is fine. Field Turbo's back, yo.
I never played it though, not enough to play.
I never played it, guys never played either.
Yeah. So what are we giving it?
Giving it a good we're. Giving it a good.
My lonely clock tower. Clock Tower deserves better.

(01:59:01):
Just chilling there and then we got one last game, y'all.
Luigi's man, that. Was.
A franchise that's a franchise you've.
Got in horror game. Condemned.
I refuse to believe that Ghostbusters all.
Right, We've got Condemned debuted November 15th, 2005 with
two main line titles developed by Monolith Productions,

(01:59:23):
published by Sega, available on Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3.
I who, who played this? Because I, I played this.
I've never played. First, it was first person.
It was a first person horror game.
I didn't know it was a horror game because I didn't know
anything about this. And I had this on the Xbox 360

(01:59:45):
and this is an early Xbox 360 game and I, I freaking enjoyed
it. It was actually pretty damn
good. It was creepy as hell.
But what I one thing I did like was that it was like you had a
weapon. You're the Yeah, I.
Think it was instead of a video camera, It's like the same game.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Like you could defend yourself

(02:00:06):
and it was like a first person shooter, but the IT was like
with supernatural stuff was would happen around.
Yeah. And it was it was well done.
It pulled off the creepiness. This is the first like one of
the first titles to come out with Xbox 3. 60 It was an early,
early titles. I remember it was like really,
really it was one of the like the first digital game I got for

(02:00:27):
for the 360 was this. This was the first game I got
digitally and I knew nothing about it it.
Looked good back then. Yeah, but no, this was dope.
This was dope. We've come a long way in
graphics. I don't people don't think we
have. Yeah, we have.
I'd never played the sequel. I didn't even know there was a
sequel to this. Well, it was not Part 2, it's
just it had a surname. I remember I did beat this game.

(02:00:51):
I can't. I couldn't tell you the freaking
story. I don't remember it because so
long ago, but I do remember it being very creepy and it was
very it was very good, good story and it was a good game.
So I I would put this, obviouslyit's not going to be great.
It's not essential because I can't remember it too much.

(02:01:12):
I'm going to give it an OK. All right, I'm.
Going to give it an OK. I I don't disagree.
Yeah, I'm going to give this an OK.
It wasn't trash, it was good. But if I maybe if I refreshed
with my memory and played it a little bit more, I remember some
stuff. But I do remember it being good.

(02:01:35):
Look at that tier list. So yeah, that concludes our tier
list y'all. It's not.
It's pretty balanced. Go ahead and read it out.
So let's recap it starting from the bottom.
Never played. Now we're here.
We got. Terrible.
For Never Play, we've got Amnesia, Layers of Fear, the

(02:01:58):
Forest, and Five Nights at Freddy's in the Trash.
Alone in the Trash is Alone in the Dark.
In the OK category, we've got Clock Tower and Condemned.
In the Good category we have gotHold On One Second, We've got
Fatal Frame, Dino Crisis, Until Dawn, Little Nightmares and

(02:02:20):
Manhunt. In the great category we've got
Silent Hill, Alan Wake and Outlast.
And in the Essential category, the big Daddies.
You know, the ones that everyoneneeds to play.
Five games. Resident.
Evil Dead Space, The Evil Within, The Last of Us, and The

(02:02:43):
Telltale Walking Dead. Biohazard all day.
What a tier list y'all. Nobody fought each other.
No, we we actually made it through a tier list without
killing each other. We got no Slender Man on it
though. No, I'm surprised the forest
made it, but not Slender Man. It's the same shit, man, It's

(02:03:05):
going to. Get the same vote.
Would have got never played. Never.
Played, never played. It's the exact same vote.
It wouldn't even matter man. Not at all.
No honorable mentions. I'm trying to remember what I'm
trying to think of. There was one of the 13th
Nightmare on Elm Street. Carrier.
Goddamn franchises, game franchises.
I remember had a second game never released.

(02:03:27):
There was a friend. There was something I had in my
during the podcast. I was hit my head.
I was. Like is there a Halloween game
like the the the show the movie?I remember Michael Myers being
anything. This is like a fake game.
There's something recently that came out.
It was in a Mortal Kombat game Ithink.
Was he? Yeah, I think so.
Mortal Kombat should be a horrorgame.

(02:03:48):
Somebody's saying it should be. That's.
The most graphic? Yeah, right.
So that's the album mentioned. OK.
That's essential. State of the case State of the
case is not horror, right? It's zombies.
I'm in state. Of the K is kind of I.
Mean there's a bunch of like they.
Used. I mean, I've been scared.
A bunch of times. I mean, you run for your life,
you run for life. That could get an honorable.
Mention state of the KK. Yeah, for sure.

(02:04:08):
Survival horror, I guess. Yeah, or mostly survival.
But House of the Dead. OK.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, that counts. That counts.
I will mention yeah yeah, it's got a couple honorable mentions.
That B movie 1 was the great by Sega.
So many curses. Yikes.
Exactly. That was a perfect, perfectly

(02:04:31):
done man. Yeah, they they they go
together. Yeah.
So that concludes that y'all. Don't forget.
Oh, you got to do it in Turbo's voice.
Sorry, go ahead. Don't forget, we're going to.
Sleep. God, let's play Sunday starting

(02:04:52):

Going to play. Cha cha, what you got on Friday?
I got fighting Friday, Zombie, at least to get the time.
On Friday I'll play fighting games.

(02:05:13):
I'll play beat them up, sometimes beat people up,
sometimes I get beat up. This Friday, I'm not playing a
fighting game. I'm playing.
Horror PT Let's do it. Come on.
PT let's go. Halloween spirit.
Come on, man. Last day, no tell tell.
Walking Dead, at least. Come on.
Come on, we're playing. I'm playing Marvel Zombies on
