Your boy, elliot Carter, herewith Baby B and Jada Kiss you
was just listening to I Am thatby Baby B.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yo, yo, yo, what's up
, what's up, hey yo.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
Baby B, talk to me.
What was your inspiration forthat track?
Speaker 3 (01:58):
It's crazy because I
feel like when I write music,
like some of my best songs Iwrote in like 30 minutes, so I
feel like I was, the beat wasfire, and that's just how I was
feeling, like don't be trying tocheck for me if you ain't gotta
check for me.
It be like a lot of broken****s out here that think that
(02:19):
they could fuck with me and theydon't gotta inform me.
So don't check for me, don'task about me, don't come looking
for me.
If you don't got nothing, youcan't do nothing for me.
So that's where that was comingfrom and I feel like it's
really relatable too and it'scatchy.
So I'm waiting on that to blow.
I think everybody gonna lovethat one.
Speaker 4 (02:37):
When did you drop
that one?
About six months ago, Okay okay, are you working on anything
currently that you wanna promote?
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Yeah, I got a song
that I plan on dropping end of
this month or beginning of nextmonth with Tussi Call Visions.
I'm real excited for that, forthe people to see that, yeah,
that's what I got coming up next.
Speaker 4 (03:01):
And he's gonna be in
the video with you too.
Speaker 3 (03:04):
No, I don't think
he's gonna be in the video.
Okay, yeah, that's a biggerbudget, but he's on the song, so
that's dope.
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, that's a great
start.
Yeah, Starting from somewhere.
How long you been?
Speaker 3 (03:16):
rapping now I wanna
say about four or five years.
I always loved to sing.
I always had a taste for music.
My dad's a DJ, so I feel likeit runs in my veins, he's in the
blood.
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Okay, where do you
say you're from?
Speaker 3 (03:36):
I'm from Connecticut,
born and raised Norwalk.
I kinda lived all over, though,so I know a lot of people in CT
, the 203 area.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
Okay, okay, Jaditha
talk to me.
Speaker 2 (03:50):
What's that?
What's happening?
Speaker 4 (03:51):
Where you from.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I'm from the Bronx.
Speaker 4 (03:54):
Okay, when did you
start your journey in music?
Speaker 2 (04:00):
I'm not gonna lie.
Last year, Last year, so it'sfresh.
Speaker 4 (04:02):
Yeah, it's fresh,
yeah, I just started.
Speaker 2 (04:05):
I probably got like
three songs Okay.
Speaker 4 (04:08):
And what made you
wanna become a musician or
artist?
Speaker 2 (04:14):
Hmm, someone was
really pushing me.
I had an ex back then who wasinto the whole entertainment
business and everything, so hefaked like pushed me to start
rapping.
Put me on my first song.
It was a feature with him andsomeone else and yeah, it really
started there, in fact.
Okay.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Y'all too made a song
together, yet Not, yet Not yet
it's coming, not yet, not yetsoon.
Do y'all have plans too?
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Of course, yeah,
we're thinking more.
So maybe like some summertimestuff, okay, something that
girls could talk about too.
Speaker 4 (04:50):
How did you two come
about?
Speaker 3 (04:53):
I was doing her
lashes, but I had her on
Facebook for a while, but, yeah,I was doing her lashes.
That's how we got like closer.
Speaker 4 (04:59):
Okay, okay.
Speaker 2 (05:01):
Yeah, in fact I
booked a Gamalaxa done never
with anybody else Like she.
Really the go with this lastshit.
For how long you been doinglashes?
Speaker 3 (05:11):
About three and a
half years.
Speaker 4 (05:13):
So about the same
time you started rapping.
Speaker 3 (05:16):
Yeah, a little before
that.
Speaker 4 (05:17):
Yeah, I started
rapping a little bit before that
yeah, so you just decided tostep out into the creative world
completely.
Speaker 3 (05:30):
Yeah, I mean I always
liked I always like to do music
and stuff, but I always love tosing.
But definitely I started doinglashes.
I was in nursing school and itwas such a full-time thing that
I didn't have time to really doboth.
Like I was working at DunkinDonuts for years and it was such
(05:53):
a full-time thing that Icouldn't really do both.
So I had to figure out how Icould make money and work from
home if I need to, and make agood amount of money without
working too much.
Okay, so that's how I got intolashes.
It was either nails or lashesfor me.
Speaker 4 (06:09):
And did you ever
finish nursing school?
Speaker 3 (06:11):
I did not.
I was in nursing school inFlorida, but I feel like I
needed a bigger support system.
I have two kids, so I didn'treally have as much help as I
needed and it was really hard, like sometimes I couldn't go to
clinical and things like that,so it wasn't working out.
And then at the time I had juststarted my last business so it
(06:34):
really started jumping likeafter that.
Okay, so I just never reallylooked back.
Now I'm trying to kind oftrying to figure out my path,
what I want to do, and right nowI'm doing lashes, which I do
pretty good with financially, and I'm trying to see lashes,
(06:54):
and lashes alone, able to paythe bills.
Oh, yeah, like I do really good.
I do really good doing lashes.
I just started doing makeup too, so that's another thing.
And I also sell lash trays.
I sell wigs, like some clothes, like I sell a couple things.
So, yeah, it's definitely likea really good income, like
(07:16):
between travel appointments andlike I was doing lash classes at
one point.
Okay.
Yeah, and then from there, likeI'm giving myself.
I'm 23 now I'm giving myselftill 25 to have it figured out.
I'm trying to push my music, domy lashes and you know, see,
(07:37):
see what's gonna really work forme.
Speaker 4 (07:39):
And if if everything
doesn't go as planned by 25,
what happens then?
Speaker 3 (07:46):
Then I start looking
like okay, do I want to go back
to nursing school, do I want tolike what do I want to do?
Because I'm getting older andstuff, because lashes I do
really good doing lashes.
Last month was one of mybusiest months ever that I ever
had, because of the holidays andstuff.
So, yeah, by 25, like you know,I'm gonna say okay, is my music
(08:12):
popping yet?
Like, am I on yet am I gonna dosomething else, you know, if
lashes does slow down, because Ireally do love what I do.
Speaker 4 (08:19):
You do All around,
yeah, okay, what would you say
to a young girl that aspires tobe like you and she wants to get
her own lashes started?
How could she do so?
Speaker 3 (08:34):
I would say just go
for it.
I tell people all the time likeyou really have to like when
you're an entrepreneur, you'reyour own boss, like nobody's
promoting your business.
But you like, I actuallystarted doing lashes in Florida
when I was in nursing school andI don't know anybody from there
, I'm not from there, so Istarted from the ground up I
(08:55):
would say mid-September and thenby by Christmas time around
then I was booked and I just washanding out business cards,
doing bring a friend deals.
It's always good to do sometype of deal where you bring a
friend, because then you got twopeople showing off your work.
I did a lot of promotion onFacebook, instagram, the
(09:19):
marketplace word of mouth.
But you really just have to dogood work and be the best at
what you do and the word willget around.
Speaker 4 (09:30):
Okay, sounds good.
Jadakiss, talk to me, how doyou pay?
Pay the bills.
Speaker 2 (09:39):
Dancing.
I'm a dancer, so I dance.
Speaker 4 (09:43):
Okay, okay, do you
enjoy dancing?
Speaker 2 (09:48):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (09:49):
Is that something you
plan on doing, or is that like
just getting you by to get tothe next level?
Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, definitely,
just gave me by right now.
I don't see myself dancingforever.
I'm about to be 22 next month,so I see myself like definitely
done with dancing by 25.
Yeah, it's a lot of money inthe dancing business, so I just
need to work on saving Like I'mbad at that, but getting money
(10:18):
is you know, is there?
I get by pretty good actually.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
Okay, and what are
some of the challenges that you
face being a dancer trying tobreak into the entertainment
industry?
Do you feel like?
Do people take you seriously?
Speaker 2 (10:41):
Yeah, I feel like
yeah, I feel like it's really my
vibe and my personality like todancing that got nothing to do
with business and what I do as arapper.
That's not even the first thingI say to people when I meet
people like, you know, if youask, all right, but you know, if
we doing business I mentioned,do some stuff as a rapper and
(11:02):
that only like, but I alwaysinclude it into the dancing.
So you know, that's really whatI'm trying to do is make music
to my own music.
I could dance to, just likethat.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
They ever played your
music in the club, of course
yeah, that's lit.
Speaker 2 (11:15):
I'm cool with the DJs
, so yeah, they spend my shit.
Yeah, if you're cool, it's sogood.
Speaker 4 (11:20):
Okay, so you've
danced to your music.
Are you a topless dancer?
Speaker 2 (11:25):
Yeah, it's two sides
to my club, so yeah, one side I
do, the other side I don't.
Speaker 4 (11:33):
What's the two sides?
Speaker 2 (11:34):
They got one side you
drink on and then the other
side you just smoke like hookahand stuff.
You can't drink over there.
So yeah, you could get, youcould take it clothes off on the
other side.
You can't take it clothes offfor the old corn side at.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
They can be full nude
on the other side.
Speaker 2 (11:49):
Yeah, oh, where when
you smoke hookah?
Yeah, but it's really my choice.
Like you, I've never been toMinks.
Yeah, no, it's a really goodclub.
It's the best club in NCT, I'dsay.
For sure it is here.
There's more than one, right, there's two.
There's one in Halford andthere's one in Groton, but the
one in Halford is it.
Speaker 4 (12:06):
The one in Halford is
the lit one.
Yeah, okay, okay.
And what's the average nightlooking like in Minks?
Speaker 2 (12:14):
Average like On a
Tuesday, wednesday, like what
you saw, my like money wise, yeah, um, I Would say 500 a
night, like that's average like.
But sometimes I woke out ofthere with what's a great night
a great night.
1500 or more, that's a greatnight.
(12:39):
A band is like okay, I did good.
Yeah, anything less than beingis I am, do you have?
Speaker 4 (12:44):
kids, no kids.
Do you have a man?
I'm single.
Do you think that you couldhave a man being a stripper?
Speaker 2 (12:53):
Yeah, I did for three
years.
Speaker 4 (12:56):
So you just tripped
for three years already.
He is by before this year, likeduring, the summer is coming
for now, let's talk about yourrelationship that you have while
Wow, three years.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
So I mean, I'm mad
mother dancer.
I was already dancing when Imet him.
So I met him, I like a month ortwo before I turn 19.
I was already a dancer scene,what's up.
He accepted it like andhonestly, like I'm not worried
about that, like, even if Idon't know that I don't be
Something on my head like, oh,is they gonna care whether I'm a
(13:33):
dancer, not as much as likethis, what I come with, like you
for me.
And he jacked me.
So you know we were deal withjealousy.
Hell yeah, of course, like itcomes with that.
It wasn't more so in thebeginning, like I feel like to
begin, and it'd be like thehoneymoon phase, it's definitely
the honey towards the end itgot real like it, just it got a
(13:57):
little bit more toxic Then didit point, did it pass the point
of being abusive.
Speaker 4 (14:02):
Um, what do you mean
abusive like?
Verbally, physically, mentally,emotionally?
Speaker 2 (14:09):
I wouldn't really say
, I think, I don't really think
abusive is a word, I would moresay toxic.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
Okay, yeah, okay,
moving forward.
Do you think that that'ssomething you could do again?
Oh, being a relationship whiledancing.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
Um, yeah, but
honestly entertain, yeah, of
course, like, but I'm reallylooking for the next level, like
I'm trying to, you know, dealwith somebody who don't have me
in a shit club.
Like I don't have to be in ashit club if I want to, yeah,
but like it's not, I have to.
Yeah, you know what I'm saying.
Speaker 4 (14:48):
So yeah, sure.
So how can one take you out ofthe strip club?
Speaker 2 (15:00):
Right like.
He just has to give it to youup front like don't just gotta
give it to me but Say okay, Imean like how?
Speaker 4 (15:09):
Let's say there's
inquiring minds.
People want to know how canthey make that move to take you
out of that particular situationand lock it down.
Speaker 3 (15:20):
I'm just gonna
comment on that real quick.
Speaker 4 (15:21):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (15:22):
I just feel like you
know A lot of girls run into
this situation.
Guys will meet you somewhereand you know some.
I've met girls before that weredancers and, like A lot of
people have this persona.
Like, oh, you know, you're astripper, you look this way or
you act this way, or you a hoe,are you gonna go for this or
that?
(15:42):
And that doesn't necessarilyMean that.
So you know, you can meet anice girl.
Whatever you find out, she's astripper at the end of the day,
like if that's what she wasdoing, why, when you met her,
it's like it's either you withit or you not.
And it's like if you want totake somebody out of that, it's
like, okay, this is how I makemy money right now.
Like you want me to stop doingthis?
(16:05):
And then what?
Like, if I'm making 500 to 1500a night, it's like this is yes,
to meet that, or yes, like thisis my lifestyle right now.
Like, do you have a better Jobopportunity for me right now?
Like, because most people do itlike not so much because they
want a strip, but because themoney is good, the money is fast
(16:25):
and it's consistent.
So you know, it's like if youwant to take me out of this.
Like, okay, now, what like?
That's like somebody saying, like, oh, I don't want you to
Like, at the end of the day,it's all work.
So it's like that's likesomebody saying, oh, I want you
to stop doing lashes, like if Ihad, like a girlfriend or
something.
She's like oh, I want you tostop doing lashes.
(16:45):
You meet too many girls likeyou know that's.
It's like yeah, it's, it's justlike you know what, what can
you like?
And regardless, I mean, somegirls are gonna go for that and
like if you were independentfemale, like us, like you like
to have your own money, likeanything, I mean, brings us
extra, but like Right, so that'show I feel about that.
(17:06):
Like you would like.
And then that's toxic andcontrolling already.
So as soon as that happens, youmight want to.
Speaker 1 (17:13):
Back out.
Speaker 2 (17:16):
Right, okay.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
So, baby, be your
single too.
Yeah, all right.
So are y'all dating.
Um, you said, you'reentertaining someone, so what
exactly does that mean?
Speaker 3 (17:32):
I think she'll talk
about you.
No, no, no, no like, becauseyou said like she's in the
entertainment business and she'slike oh, I'm entertaining, she
said she.
Speaker 4 (17:40):
she said Now, she's
right, she's entertaining
someone.
Are you entertaining someone?
Speaker 3 (17:47):
Um, I'm I wouldn't
say like um, I'm dating or not
dating.
I'm just right now working onmy business.
I got two kids.
Um, I'm trying to look for anew apartment.
So I just been in grime mode.
So you have Priorities, yeah, and I just feel like you know, a
lot of times men Become adistraction and like, when you
(18:11):
really like somebody, likesomebody might mess your day up
so bad, like, uh, I don't wantto go to work.
Uh, like, uh, I can't like youso mad, you're so busy.
Worry about what they're doingand that's not, um, what I'm on
right now.
Yeah, I like to.
I've been focused and I feelgood and I feel like it's good
and important To know how to beby yourself, like a lot of
(18:33):
people don't know how to be byyourself and love yourself and
really like, do, like I could dogreat on my own and you know
it's like a lot of guys don'treally Like.
It's like so many people outhere but Connecticut is small
and it's like a lot of guysreally don't like meet, like
what I'm looking for, or youknow so what are you looking for
(18:56):
?
I'm not looking for nothingright now.
I'm not looking for nothing.
Like I said, I'm focused, I'mworking, I'm grinding, I have
goals to achieve.
Um, no, I'm not looking fornothing, but, like when I am
like it just has to contributeto me and like what I do and
(19:16):
like build me up and like pourinto me, like essentially.
But I'm not really like I'vebeen doing really good on my own
and so I'm not really lookingfor.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
I won't have even
single.
I'm a year.
Okay, jadakiss, what doesentertaining someone consists of
?
Does that mean that, let's saysomebody that you think is cute,
somebody that you're interestedin, let's say he DMs you today
(19:48):
because you're entertainingsomeone.
Can you not answer that DM?
How does that work?
Speaker 2 (19:57):
um, tricky question.
Yeah, you couldn't.
Yeah, so when I say I'mentertaining someone, I mean
like I'm entertaining one personlike you know, like I'm fucking
with one person nigga DM me,yeah, really, like niggas DM me
all day, every day.
I don't entertain that, likeyou know.
(20:19):
No, I didn't meet the person.
Why?
I'm insane.
I didn't meet him, or DM, orsocial media, not a man person.
And did you meet him dancing?
I'm at my club?
Yeah, but it was like he wasthere for like five minutes.
I literally like I seen him.
He was sitting there smoking.
I sat next to him, we had aconversation and then, you know,
(20:41):
we took each other number andfrom there we were just talking.
Speaker 4 (20:43):
So do you think
potentially meeting him in the
in in that environment couldtarnish y'all relationship?
Like, let's say, you met him ina grocery store or in Walmart?
Do you think that would be abetter environment to initially
meet someone?
Speaker 2 (21:02):
um, would it be
better?
I don't feel like we would havespoke if we seen each other in
a grocery store, like that's not, you know.
Like I see one of which storeand I might think, oh yeah, he
look good, but I'm not gonnastop and try to talk to him in a
grocery store.
Speaker 3 (21:17):
I also think, since
that's what she does, like it's
kind of like he met her that way.
He met her in her own aura, like her, right, that's what she
does.
So, my bad, I feel like it'sbetter.
Yeah, like he sees off, ripthat this is what she do, like
(21:38):
he knows, like has an idea, andit's like up for him to decide,
you know, whether he fuck withher or not, cuz, like you know
that's who she is, that's whatshe does right now.
So I feel like it was a perfectplace to meet him.
Yeah, cuz it's like, like Isaid, you can meet somebody in
the grocery store.
You don't know nothing aboutthem.
You really start liking themand you find out that you may or
(21:59):
may not like it, you know.
So I feel like it was a greatplace yeah, definitely and
Howard, things coming along evengood like even then.
Speaker 2 (22:10):
Yeah, we linked up a
couple times we've been on a
date.
Yeah, we like we vibing rightnow.
I like it, like it's real goodright now, okay, okay, all right
.
Speaker 4 (22:25):
So y'all give me a
recap of 2023 how each one.
This is for each question, thisis for each of y'all.
How was 2023 and, looking backat it retrospectively, if you
could go back and make somechanges, what would be some of
the changes you make to 2023 andwhat's next for 2024?
Speaker 2 (22:48):
I wish I focused on
myself more, like last year.
Well, for the last three yearsI was like in a relationship and
shit, and I honestly feel likelike last year was one of my
worst years like ever.
Like for real, for real, and Ijust wish I, like I took, I wish
(23:11):
I took the help from the peoplewho are genuine, who love me
genuinely, you know, just kepton me genuinely more I was more
so like looped up around thenigga and like I don't know I
missed out on a lot ofopportunities.
You.
So this year I'm just focusingon myself more, doing things for
(23:33):
myself, like I was last year.
I was trying to do thingstogether with somebody you know,
like get a grip together, likenah, this year it's just all
about me.
I'm trying to elevate myself.
Like I don't got time for youto try to be like, try to tear
me down and shit.
It's just me.
Like I'm gonna protect myenergy.
This year I think that's a biggoal for me.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
Okay, and you're
gonna work on more music moving
forward.
Yeah definitely more music.
That's something that we couldexpect more from you in 2024?
.
Speaker 2 (24:02):
Yeah, I'm dropping a
music video this month.
Actually right before mybirthday is the freestyle Get
Ups and Freestyle y'all probablyheard it by Cardi B a few years
ago.
I remixed it, so I'm gonna dothe visuals, so that I already
did a song.
So we're gonna do the visualsthis month and then we're gonna
drop it before my birthday.
Speaker 4 (24:23):
All right, sounds
good.
You can talk to me.
Speaker 3 (24:26):
Yo, yo yo.
Speaker 4 (24:29):
Same question.
Speaker 3 (24:31):
Oh, a recap I
definitely was grinding this
year.
I was actually very happy thisyear, happier than I've been in
a while.
I feel like I learned a lotabout myself and I feel like
being by myself a lot reallytaught me how to love myself and
it showed me how I was reallyturning up on my own.
(24:55):
I was doing music back to backin the studio, heavy working way
more than I worked before, really pouring into myself a lot
, and I had so many doors openup for me just this year, just
off the music I made, and I justfelt like I wouldn't have had
(25:15):
such great vibes if I didn'tspend so much time by myself
figuring out what I like, getting to know myself better.
So, yeah, definitely I wasgrinding.
I dropped I am that video, Idropped Make Believe, yeah and I
got a lot more videos to makethis year.
I feel like I did so many songslast year that I didn't drop,
(25:40):
so this year I'm gonna focus oncontent, videos, photo shoots
and really dropping those songs.
I plan on dropping a couplesongs, maybe five or six more,
to really get people familiarwith me before I drop an album,
because I feel like as an artisteven a major artist, you drop
(26:01):
an album.
Realistically, unless you're areally big fan, you're not gonna
sit and listen through to everysingle song.
So definitely I wanna.
What about?
Speaker 4 (26:12):
Mixed.
Speaker 3 (26:12):
Eight.
Yeah, I'm gonna drop a projectat some point, but, like I said,
I just have a couple more songsthat I wanna drop.
I got the one with Tusi and Igot another one called Budget.
It's kind of like a Dolce Cattype vibe pop song.
And then I got one more song, harder Feelings.
(26:38):
That one's gonna be really dope.
And then Summertime come around, so around June I'm gonna drop
another one called Spend it,just to see me, and after that I
think I'm gonna drop my project, like mid-Summer Time and the
Summertime.
But I got a couple things to doand it's like as an artist too,
(26:59):
like my dad's a DJ.
He kept telling me like no,don't drop this yet, don't drop
this yet.
You gotta push this one, pushthis one, get them interested
for something more.
But the song's doing prettygood numbers right now.
Sometimes I go to the club andthey play my song that be lit.
And then I see, sometimes I seepeople in the club singing my
(27:21):
song cause it's played on theradio so much.
So that's really dope.
So I can't wait to like youknow.
Speaker 4 (27:27):
Even some of the guys
at LFTG know who you are and
some of your music that's likethat's dope yeah, yeah that felt
so good and a part of theplatform.
Speaker 3 (27:36):
Yeah, I definitely
gotta spread out a little bit.
Speaker 4 (27:40):
Do you perform?
Live anywhere?
Speaker 3 (27:43):
Yeah, like I always
do showcases and stuff like that
, I did a bunch of showcases.
I did one in Brooklyn Most ofthem are here in CT, one in Jada
with me.
Where was the last one we did?
Was that in the Bronx orBrooklyn, in the Bronx, in the
(28:03):
Bronx?
Speaker 4 (28:03):
yeah, Okay, so you
getting your name out there.
Speaker 3 (28:06):
Yeah, like I'm
getting people.
Speaker 4 (28:07):
Any comfortable
performing live.
Speaker 3 (28:09):
I'm more so
comfortable now.
Speaker 4 (28:12):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (28:13):
But I definitely have
some growing and working to do
because I would like to learnbetter how to.
It's one thing to like createthe song, but also the delivery
is very important.
So at some point I do wannatake like dance classes and get
with the choreographer andreally like figure out how to
deliver my song the way I wantto.
Speaker 4 (28:35):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (28:36):
Sometimes I feel like
I'm doing a song and I'm
performing and you know thecrowd is hype and stuff and but
it's like You're still missingthe element.
Yeah, like sometimes, if I'mdoing it by myself, I'm like, oh
my God, like it's hard to likefigure out how to really deliver
the song, like without otherpeople, like if it's not one of
(28:56):
my R&B songs, like it's a hypesong, like you gotta figure out
how to really work with thecrowd and deliver and traveling,
traveling all.
So that's something Idefinitely wanna learn and work
on.
For sure, my voice is veryraspy, so a lot of times when I
perform I lose my voice midway.
So that's something I gottawork on too.
Speaker 4 (29:19):
Okay.
Speaker 3 (29:20):
Cause I feel like I
use a lot of wind and my voice
be gone Like second song.
I'm done, like you know, causeI'm trying to like really talk
loud and be in the mic and stuff, so I definitely wanna work on
that.
Speaker 2 (29:33):
I think you're really
good for that.
Speaker 1 (29:35):
You think I be
feeling like I You're going to
say that you like Really.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
You're going to say
that you're like I be feeling
like I be up there looking crazy, but I be trying not to like
you know.
That's another thing, that-.
Speaker 2 (29:47):
You're gonna be happy
with Right.
Speaker 3 (29:49):
That's another thing,
that kinda.
That was hard too at first, cause sometimes, like NCT, a lot
of people like you'll have ashowcase and certain individuals
will get mad love in the club, mad people recording mad love.
Right now I feel like I'mgetting more love than I was
(30:09):
before, but in the beginning Igot like no love.
It was like me and Jada andprobably I had to pull people
out the crowd.
I feel like but yeah, like, yeah, it's definitely like
Really like natural, naturalgirl.
Yeah, I'm trying, I'm workingon that.
Um, definitely I loveperforming.
(30:31):
Like it really like.
Yeah, like I said, mad people, some people get mad love.
And then there was one timewhere like everybody performed
and it was my turn and theneverybody had left the club and
I was like I'm not performingeverybody left and I was like
discouraging you know what, butI didn't let it discourage me
only because I know my music isgood, I know I sound good, I
know I look good, so I'm like itdoesn't matter if it's two
(30:53):
people in the room, like I'mstill artists and, if anything,
this is practice, like I shouldalways take opportunity to, like
you know, perform and showcasemy talent, even if it's to like
one or two people.
So that was something that Ilearned and I'm glad that I did
still, like in a room of emptypeople, still go hard and give
(31:14):
him my all, like everybody'sthere, yeah, that's what's up,
yeah, and it doesn't make mefeel like stupid or anything,
because I know.
Yeah, like because I know mymusic is good and you know some
people.
May you know, like I said, people got clout, people know
mad people, like I know people, but some some are more well
known than others.
Like you know, I never likegrew up in the hood so I
(31:37):
wouldn't say like I had like acommunity of people that I grew
up with or knew, like I kind ofwas everywhere.
So yeah, I feel like that'spart of like the not really
getting that much love.
But I do now like it'd be good,it'd be straight for the most
part girls, guys, are yousatisfied with the love you get?
Speaker 4 (31:55):
you feel like you get
hate.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
I definitely feel
like I get hate.
Speaker 4 (32:00):
I do More hate or
love.
Speaker 3 (32:03):
It's mad love.
I feel like it's mad loveoverall like, and sometimes like
like when I get promo posts andstuff like that from people who
don't know me at all, it'd beso much hate like, definitely
more hate than love from likethe outside crowd.
Speaker 4 (32:22):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (32:24):
I don't mind it at
all, it doesn't hurt my feelings
, because I genuinely do want toknow, like, what are people
saying?
Well, like I had this oneartist like do a promo post for
me.
Like he posted my music video, tag me and stuff, and he asked
his followers.
Like he had like 150,000followers or something and he
(32:47):
asked the people like what doy'all think?
Like a lot of people's like, well, she fire, that's dope,
whatever.
Some people was like this istrash.
Like how much she paid you topost this.
Oh my god, delete this asap.
This is embarrassing.
But that didn't bother me.
Like I actually like to see thefeedback because you see, like
all these major artistsconstantly getting shit it on
(33:10):
and so I feel like that's justsomething that comes with it and
like any attention is like tomy music and whatever.
Like because they might betalking shit about me, they
might be talking shit about meto somebody else and they might
say, well, I fuck with her, likewhat's her information?
so you definitely got to havelike tough skin and understand
(33:30):
thick skin yeah, you got tounderstand that, like people are
, not everybody's gonna likelike your type of music, not
everybody's gonna respect whatyou do.
But yeah, that doesn't hurt myfeelings.
It actually pushes me to goharder.
I actually really like to knowwhat people who don't know me
think.
Speaker 4 (33:49):
Okay, so I know y'all
got to start heading out, so I
just wanted to ask you, baby B,if someone wanted to get their

Yeah, you wouldn't really know.
Speaker 4 (35:58):
Some people know I'd
be like what gave it away, so
you don't be putting posts likeoh come see me at Minks Thursday
Sometimes, sometimes.
Speaker 2 (36:06):
but I don't really
like my location out there like
that, you know.
