Latest episode of Seth Grossman on WPG Radio, May 31, 2025. It's been five years since George Floyd died. It's been five years since Black Lives Matter gave us a summer of riots, looting and destruction. When I was in New York last week, the New York Times and mainstream media was reporting on the legacy of George Floyd. However, most Black Americans are as fed up as most white Americans with the uncontrolled, barbaric, violent and annoying behavior of Blacks who behave like George Floyd. Yes, the death of George Floyd was a tragedy. But George Floyd, and nobody else, was responsible for his death. George Floyd was caught using a $20 counterfeit bill.  All he had to do was give back the merchandise. But he didn't do that, even when a police officer asked him to. George Floyd defied that officer, and it took four officers to arrest him. I'm sorry, we cannot tolerate that behavior in a civilized society. George Floyd was asked to sit in a patrol car, but he violently pushed his way out. Nobody has the right to do that. When you are arrested, you must submit to the officer. If the officer is wrong, you make your case in court to a judge with a lawyer. You cannot use an arrest to start negotiations. You cannot argue with the cop, fight with the cop, resist the cop or run away from the cop.  If you do, you might get hurt or killed, and you deserve it.  We don't have enough money to pay for enough cops to have a confrontation like that with everyone they arrest.  I'm sorry. A lot of Black Americans also see it that way.  That's why hashtags like #blackfatigue, #negrofatigue and #ghettofatigue are going viral.  I invite you to search those hashtags on Facebook, X, Twitter, Instagram or other social media.  You'll find dozens of videos and articles from young Black men saying they are fed up with these ghetto thugs.  Here is one of the most viral: https://youtu.be/eZz6SHxfQK4?feature=shared Thomas Sowell wrote a book about this 20 years ago called Black Rednecks and White Liberals.  We posted all this stuff on our website. Here's the link: Five Years After George Floyd & Black Lives Matter: #blackfatigue Goes Viral. - Liberty and Prosperity Dr Robert Fleisher Scholarship fundraiser. Sat June 14. Sal’s Cafe in Somers Point.   Here are the details.  Please attend and bring a friend. But please also share this link on your Facebook and X page:  $30 Pancake Fundraiser Breakfast: Dr. Robert M. Fleisher Scholarship Award Presentation - https://libertyandprosperity.com/events/30-pancake-fundraiser-breakfast-dr-robert-m-fleisher-scholarship-award-presentation/  History Book. Understandable South Jersey.  New Jersey: State of Liberty and Prosperity. Success of ‘Teaching Calendar’ from 2024. Attack on Jewish gatherings. Yes, there is hope for America. NPR WNYE Radio in New York City: Propaganda programming. Anti-Jewish talk shows. Taxpayer funded. The Primary Election for NJ Governor is going on right now. You can vote by mail-in ballot now.  Early voting starts next week.  The last Election Day is Tuesday, June 10.  There are four main Republican candidates and six main Democrats. One Democrat candidate is Congressman Mike Sherrill.  She is a woke, radical left Democrat. However, she served in the military so she is falsely presenting herself as a moderate. Another is Sean Spiller. He is the head of the NJEA Teachers Union. He gets paid $400,000 a year to do that. Few Republicans know much about these Democrats because we don't watch the TV stations they run their ads on. But both of these are promising to crack down on what they call "predatory landlords".  Yes, we have high rents in New Jersey. But it's dangerous and dishonest to blame landlords.  We have high rents and a shortage of housing because of "woke" Democrats. Their unions are what give us high property taxes. Their woke laws make it expensive to get permits to build and fix anything.

(00:00):
Seth Gross from Liberty and Prosperity. His website
libertyandprosperity.com.
Seth, good morning. Welcome.
Good morning. And, when I went to New
York last Sunday,
Of course, I got to see the New
York Times and all the official liberal media,
talking about,

(00:21):
you know, George Floyd, the fifth anniversary, and
and what's his legacy gonna be.
But what shocked me
is the reaction
within the black community
against George Floyd
and against the barbaric
behavior
going on by a segment of the black
community.

(00:42):
Even to the point where,
if you will go on Twitter or Facebook
or any Instagram, any social media,
if you would,
type in the hashtag
black fatigue
or Negro fatigue
or ghetto fatigue.
You will see a whole lot of
very

(01:02):
angry
and effective videos by black men mostly
denouncing the behavior
within the black community
and denouncing
white liberals,
and other, you know, black Americans who condone
it.
So we actually have it posted on our
liberty and prosperity website, a collection

(01:24):
of the videos and writings
of the, you know, quote, you know, hashtag
black fatigue
and and go to our liberty and prosperity
website. And it's, it's amazing,
the reaction. And
this reaction
explains
why so many black Americans and so many
Hispanics
voted for Donald Trump last November.

(01:47):
So the mainstream media you've been reading
has completely
overlooked
or is come in complete denial
of,
of the reaction of most black Americans
towards your George Floyd.
And in a way, I disagree with you
when you said, well, George Floyd,
shouldn't have had to die.

(02:08):
I mean, if we're gonna have civilized behavior
and somebody,
commits a crime
and a police officer says, you know, you're
under arrest. Come with me.
That can't be the beginning of negotiation.
That can't be into the beginning of fighting
with a cop, arguing with a cop. It
means you go.

(02:29):
And if you have a beef with a
police officer, you have a belief beef with
somebody
filing the complaint, you take it up in
the courtroom
with a lawyer and a judge. You don't
take it up in the street.
It should not have taken four or five
police officers
to arrest George Floyd when he passed off
of, a counterfeit 20 bill.

(02:50):
They just asked him to give the merchandise
back. He wouldn't do it. And then when
he said, well, you know, you're gonna have
to arrest me. He refused to go in
the car. When he got in the car,
he,
forced himself out of the car.
So what are you gonna do? And I
and I think no one more than black
Americans realize,
this is not the way to go. And
and those those videos are really funny to,

(03:13):
to to look at. And by the way,
this this,
conversation
about that,
you know, not black Americans,
but basically barbaric uncivilized black Americans,
a small small minority
was talked about by Thomas Sowell twenty years
ago
in a book called Black Rednecks

(03:34):
and White Liberals.
But,
and he he he mentioned this true fact.
He said, this barbaric
behavior
among whites,
you had it in the South.
They call them rednecks.
It was a violent thing, a pride thing,
an honor thing,
you know, killing anyone who looked at you

(03:54):
the wrong way kind of thing, laughing at
people who worked,
mocking people who studied.
That was a very negative trait among white
people,
and and white Southerners grew out of it.
And what Thomas Sowell pointed out
is that,
you know, black Americans were also growing out
of it. You know, 90% of all black

(04:15):
Americans,
you know, started from the South.
And they brought that redneck culture up with
them, many of them. And black Americans knew
it was, toxic,
and they got rid of it. But it
was white liberals
who glorified that toxic
black redneck culture
with the movies, with the the Hollywood entertainment,

(04:37):
with the schools.
And so now you see a lot of
black Americans are angry at white liberals
for glorifying and tolerating this, this unacceptable
behavior.
Boy.
We we could talk forever about this.
No. We we won't though, but it's all
posted. And in fact, it's interesting.

(04:58):
I just looked at our libertyandprosperity.com
website,
and we used a YouTube video, and YouTube
removed the video. They said it's private, but
fortunately, we captured that video
and and we will be reposting it later
on today. So if you don't see the
video displayed when you go to libertyandprosperity.com,

(05:19):
the part that says five years after George
Floyd and Black Lives Matter,
hashtag black fatigue goes viral.
Go to that site and,
and that video should be there in a
couple hours.
Meanwhile,
the,
the main focus of liberty and prosperity right
now, I mean, we enjoy being old people

(05:39):
who have all these great memories and this
great insight.
But our main goal is to reach young
people.
And one of our members, doctor Robert Fleischer,
put together an amazing program.
He put together a scholarship program
where he offered $500
scholarships to three students,
high school graduating seniors,

(06:01):
who showed an interest in liberty, an interest
in the constitution,
and and had good academics.
And 70 people applied
to that program,
and three of them are gonna get the
$500
awards.
And we're having a special awards pancake breakfast,
in two weeks on Saturday, June 14

(06:22):
at Sal's,
coal fired pizza, the banquet room where we
normally meet for breakfast,
except we're going to have a pancake breakfast
to meet,
the winners of that scholarship program. And we're
charging $30 for the breakfast, so we could
raise money to do that again
next year.
So, you know, we normally have our fundraiser

(06:43):
in the wintertime when a lot of folks
are in Florida and can't come. But all
of your listeners are back
and, I hope that they will go to
our website and pay the $30
and support this scholarship program.
And even more meet the young people who
we're really trying to reach. They're the future.
So again, it's,
you could go to our website

(07:05):
at libertyandprosperity.com.
We have a donate tab, donate to $30,
and the comments say it's for the scholarship
breakfast.
And please mark your calendar for Saturday, June
14.
Of course, any details just contact us at
info@libertyandprosperity.com.
Sounds like a very worthwhile event.

(07:27):
It it is. And a second event we're
using to reach people
is our, history book.
That is we now have a complete rough
draft, the understandable
history of South Jersey.
And why is it understandable?
Because there are a lot of local history
books that just say well this happened in
Somers Point A Hundred Years ago and this
happened in Cape May Two Hundred Years ago.

(07:49):
Our understandable
history connects the dots
and shows how all these local events,
tell one narrative that caused the New Jersey
to become a state of liberty and prosperity.
And, without
slavery without,
you know, killing
native Americans.

(08:10):
It it just shows how the liberty created
the
the prosperity
and it's posted on our website the rough
graph. So I'm inviting all of your listeners,
especially if they have kids or grandkids or
nieces or nephews in high school or college.
To look at that website because we're offering
stipends
to qualified students who will review

(08:32):
the text to make sure that everything we
put in there
is fully
documented and fully sourced
and fully accurate.
And also that the images we use are
public domain images so we don't get sued
for copyright infringement.
So
you know,
it's it's a it's a tedious work but
it's very rewarding work and we are paying

(08:54):
for it. So I invite everyone to go,
to that our our website libertyandprosperity.com
and look for that
post and under my blog, the understandable history
of South Jersey.
And I think it'll be you'll you'll learn
a lot, and I know that I and
all of our members learned a lot just
by putting this together. I guarantee you

(09:15):
every single
chapter,
and when when I say chapter, it's really
just a story. Every single story
will will
give you an important fact that's interesting that
you didn't know before.
And by the way, just in the last
month, I noticed that, you know, two of
those, facts we have in that understandable history
of New Jersey

(09:36):
popped up as jeopardy clues.
So if you wanna be a jeopardy contestant,
you know, consider reading that thing. It'll be
very, very helpful. When will this, when will
this be out for the public?
Well, it the book should be ready in
about six weeks to eight weeks.
Our focus right now is that scholarship
scholarship pancake breakfast on June 14.

(09:57):
But hopefully by this summer,
you know, by July,
we should have something,
and and be able to hand out. We're
putting together a price, we're getting a publisher,
all these details are being put together. But
it's, it's really,
we we started with that calendar that teaching
calendar we did last year. Yes. And we're
really building on that so it's not just

(10:19):
a calendar it's an actual book
that you know history teachers
students can use as a supplement
to their regular history book that just leaves
out a whole lot of stuff for a
whole lot of reasons.
I I think you know what those reasons
are but instead of
banning books or complaining about books, why not
just supplement the book?

(10:40):
And and this, this makes all the difference.
So that's a very important project.
Well, you're you're busy.
That's for sure. I am.
Well well, last year, I I wasn't busy.
Last year, I went to I drove to
Brooklyn, New York for my,
cousin's wedding.
And as I mentioned, I was a little
fearful
because I was obviously Jewish going to a

(11:02):
Jewish event,
just five days after two Jews were murdered
in Washington,
DC,
just because they were Jewish.
And it's interesting
when I went to the liberty and prosperity
meeting,
I had many of our members were were
telling me, well, what kind of weapon am
I taking up? I gotta take a pistol
and I said, well, no. I'm not. I

(11:23):
can't do that if I ever got caught
with a with a weapon without a a
permit to carry. I'd be in prison in
New York
longer than any anyone who commits a murder
up there.
But someone insisted that I take a,
a can of pepper spray.
When I got up there, of course, my
cousins were horrified. They said pepper spray is

(11:43):
also illegal in New York. So fortunately, I
made it back there.
But it was a very,
lovely event.
You know, Brooklyn, New York was as as
we always imagined it. I walked on the
Brooklyn Bridge. It was a sunny day.
The day after the event,
everybody was friendly. Everybody was open. Everything was

(12:04):
safe. Everything was clean.
So there there is hope for America,
even in New York City.
Well, that's good news.
Well well well, I'll tell you what the
downside, of course, was
driving up to New York. I think it
was $28 in tolls.
The the the tolls are cost almost twice
as much as the gas,

(12:25):
two bridges in the Garden State Parkway.
And I don't know if I'm the only
one to notice it, but, you know, you
talk about,
or that the left complains that there's too
much police.
On the Parkway, I didn't see enough police.
And and I saw these drivers going at,
you know, a 10,
hundred and 20 miles an hour
with impunity.

(12:46):
And it's scary. You know, I I made
it safe and I didn't see any accidents
but, you know, we gotta resume
law enforcement in this country. And and you're
right. A lot of it collapsed after George
Floyd, and we gotta bring it back.
Yes. We do. That's for sure.
By the way, one thing that was,
discouraging
on the way back,

(13:07):
I was listening to National Public Radio
on a New York radio station called WNYE,
ninety one point five FM.
Yeah. You only pick it up around New
York, but I had no idea that the
city of New York
has its own radio station
and it's a propaganda radio station.

(13:28):
And you know listening to the propaganda
it was most vicious
anti Israel
anti Jewish
propaganda
I've ever heard anywhere.
And it was coming from NPR
which is taxpayer funded and a New York
City radio station,
that that was taxpayer funded.
And basically, it was accusing the Jews of

(13:50):
Israel
of deliberately
murdering children.
And of course, it didn't mention any of
the fact
that, you know, the the, the radical Wahhabi
talafi sect of Islam,
that runs what's called the Muslim Brotherhood and
that's that's what Hamas is. It's a Muslim
Brotherhood.

(14:10):
They believe that jihad is the most important
thing in the world and anyone who dies
in jihad
is forgiven of sin and spends eternity in
paradise
and if innocent children get killed to advance
jihad that's a good thing they're doing a
favor for the children who get killed.
So at Hamas they have
you know the gunman are shooting

(14:32):
guns, grenades, rockets from the houses and schools
and hospitals
with the children right next to them.
And they also store the rocket fuel and
explosives and ammunition
where the children are sleeping.
They use the kids as child soldiers and
decoys and lookouts and messengers
and even so,

(14:52):
you know fewer children have been killed in
that horrible conflict.
Then, you know, when The United States had
to deal with this in Iraq and Afghanistan.
So but of course that was not mentioned.
And of course, the, the NPR was keep
complaining about, oh, and the America gave so
much money
to Israel for for guns over all these

(15:14):
years.
They didn't mention
that for fifty years we had something called
the cold war.
And for fifty years, the the Russian timeness
gave their most advanced tanks, planes,
and and weapons
to the Egyptians and the Syrians.
And basically, the money that we gave Israel
was defending against those communist Russian weapons.

(15:37):
And in the three wars that those weapons
took place,
Israel captured a lot of those Russian weapons
and gave them right to The United States
so we could improve our weapons. So it's
not like,
America got nothing in return
for for giving money to Israel. So I
thought that's worth mentioning.
And,

(15:57):
okay. I'm down to, I guess just to
what can I say in the the last
two minutes?
Oh,
we have, we've been talking a lot about
the Republicans running for governor.
But
if you watch the mainstream
TV stations, you'll see the message of the
Democrats. You have six candidates for,

(16:18):
for governor on the Democratic primary side. For
as the election is June.
But you'll notice that two of the leading
candidates,
Mikey Shirell
and Sean Spiller,
running for governor on the Democratic side. Of
course, Sean Spiller is the head of the
teachers union who gets a $400,000

(16:39):
a year salary,
to represent the teachers of New Jersey. And
you have Mikey Sherrill,
who is really a radical extreme leftist,
but because she was in the military,
she's passing herself off as a moderate.
But all their ads are saying
stop predatory landlords
from raising their rent. And if they get

(17:01):
elected governor, they're gonna stop predatory landlords.
But if you think about
why rents are so expensive in New Jersey,
They're expensive because property taxes are expensive in
New Jersey.
Because,
all the building regulations
make it impossible to build anything in New
Jersey,
because the state

(17:22):
politicians, the liberals make it impossible
to evict bad tenants who destroy the property
and don't pay their rent and,
harass other residents of buildings.
So that's why, you know, the landlords have
to spend all this money on taxes, on
lawyers,
and going through permits.
But yet instead of admitting that the

(17:44):
the woke leftist Democrat government is causing the
rents to go up, they're instead blaming it
on landlords. And that only makes things worse.
That means no one goes in the landlord
business. And that means there'll be even more
of a housing shortage than we have right
now.
Anyway, all this stuff we have posted at
libertyandprosperity.com.
And, again, I urge everyone if you don't

(18:06):
do anything else,
to support,
an event for liberty and prosperity,
please support the event on June 14 because
that's reaching out to the young people who
who need to hear our message the most.
Thank you very much. Thank you, Seth. Seth
