Welcome to talking with Anne on Newstalk fourteen
92 point three w 0.
Wanna talk politics or what's happening in your
town? This is the place. Wanna give your
opinion on what's happening locally, nationally, or even
internationally?
This is the place.
And if you want civil dialogue no matter
which side of the political spectrum you're on,

(00:22):
this is the place.
Talking with Anne on Newstalk fourteen hundred and
ninety two point three w o m d.
Here's your host, Anne Baker.
Good morning, everyone. This is Anne Baker on
Talking with Anne, and I'm here with, Tim
Baker. And now I'm here with Brian Fitzherber.
Good morning, Brian. How the heck are you?

(00:42):
Good morning, Anne. I'm doing well. Thanks for
having me. No.
You know, one of the things,
Tim and I have been talking. We talk
at home. We talk
I'm listening to Tim as he speaks
on radio this morning and,
offering things that are absolutely upbeat, perfect.

(01:03):
But I'm wondering what, I'm gonna let you
two
gentlemen
talk about
what we're finding out about Mikey Sherrill,
who is the,
candidate on the Democrat side running for governor,
against
my own, Jack Ciattarelli, whom I have supported,
in a previous run. I continue to support

(01:25):
him 100%.
I think he is the answer to all
of the problems New Jersey faces.
And here is Mikey Sherrill, and,
what she is bringing
is something
that is
it speaks to character.
And how she was ever chosen by the

(01:46):
Democrat party to run
with these with this particular
flaw
is beyond me.
Tim, you go first. Brian,
add your,
u usual
usual competent
remarks. Well, Brian, it's it's really good to
talk to you now because I met you
in person, and it just so happens it

(02:07):
was at,
an event
hosted,
at a church in EHT. I forget the
name of the church. Maybe you'll remind me.
But Jack Ciattarelli was there in person. And
I can tell you the reason why Mikey
was, put forth as a Democratic option is
because she is super liberal. I mean,
really,
really one of the, progressive liberals that are

(02:29):
are coming into favor amongst the Democrats with
the likes of AOC and
so on and so forth.
But,
one thing I'll say is
I really liked how
Jack Chiarelli said that you know your opponent
is losing
or on the ropes, so to speak, when
they have to lie about you.
And I think that,

(02:50):
the fact that most of Mikey's
advertisements
nowadays
is trying
to lie about Jack Ciattarelli and
any interest he may have in raising
taxes
is is crazy because he said it point
blank
to everybody that was at this event where
I happened to meet you.

(03:11):
There's,
no intention whatsoever
raising taxes
in a state that has the highest taxes
of any throughout the country.
No. 100%.
And the way you summarize that is is
very straightforward, and and we're unfortunately giving too
much credit to the Democratic Party
because we're assuming that organized political parties actually

(03:34):
do their due diligence and vet their candidates
and they don't. And this is why you
have a 30 year old,
issue that's coming into the forefront and you
notice how the House Democrats
have responded. They haven't responded to the fact
that she's caught up in this cheating scandal,
which I'm sure more information
will come out.
It's the fact that this information was leaked

(03:56):
at all.
That's what the house Democrats are focusing on
her her colleagues where she's currently serves as
a congresswoman.
And to Jack's point, yes.
When you have to lie and you can't
put your resume up against someone else's and
you have to start lying
about your opponent to try to get ahead,
you know that there's some some trouble there.

(04:17):
We know that Jack's not gonna raise taxes.
We know that tolls taxes, utility costs, housing
costs are through the roof in the state
of New Jersey. And he's got a significant
plan in order to make it so it's
not so costly here in New Jersey. But
this scandal that is quickly unfolding
and her responses,
I mean, all you have to do is
literally tell the truth. The truth will set

(04:37):
you free. The truth is your ally. But
when it's not your ally, you have these
responses that she's been given. I didn't turn
in some of my classmates, so I didn't
walk. But I graduated and I was commissioned
as an officer in the US Navy, etcetera,
etcetera.
Entire
baseline
of what she's built her brand, her reputation
on
as a politician

(04:57):
has been tied to the US Naval Academy.
And the way this is going,
it's it's not going well for her, and
I'm sure more and more will come out.
Sounds like psychobabble.
And it sounds like she's in league
with the likes of Tim Waltz
who, stolen valor and, you know, was very
vague in his description of the service he

(05:18):
provided for twenty plus years when,
he left before he actually saw any real
combat. I mean, I think his comment was
something along the lines of, I carried a
weapon into war. And he never carried a
weapon into any war other than whatever was
raging within his own mind.
And now, given the fact that this woman,
Mikey, is attacking Jack Ciattarelli with lies,

(05:41):
it makes me think
of Newsom in California who doesn't have a
platform of his own,
because he's
invariably destroyed California,
but is ginning up support amongst his followers
by attacking
Trump. So
all of his efforts and energy
is a deflection away from his own failings,

(06:03):
his own misgivings.
And that seems to be, you know, if
you're a good politician,
if you're ultra liberal, and you're really,
great at not bringing into focus your own
problems, the things that you've created.
So, you know, I I think when we
are we were listening to Jack, he makes
so much sense.
It would be hard not to vote for

(06:24):
him unless
you were in a cult
and strictly following party line that you choose
not to look into anything yourself, but only
listen to what people
in your cult want you to hear.
Yeah. And this is becoming a more and
more,
prevalent issue where people don't look at actually

(06:46):
where someone stands. They just look for the
d or the r after someone's name. And
even further, you know, you touched upon all
this. All these guys like Newsom and Walls
and Bujette, any of these national Democrats, they're
looking to get some kind of visibility because
they're they're really delusional and they think they're
gonna be president one day. They have no
eighty twenty issue. They don't even have a

(07:08):
sixty forty issue to run on because the
Democrat party has gone insane.
And all these things that they continue to
push
where it's just too radical for normal people.
And especially in a state like New Jersey,
which, you know, we have some deep dark
blue pockets here that make it very difficult
for Republicans to win the state statewide.

(07:30):
We can win in a lot of pockets
in the legislative districts, congressional districts, but it
makes it very difficult. But when you've dealt
with
the last eight years of governor Murphy and
quite frankly, the last quarter of a century
of Democrat rule in the state legislature,
everything that's transpired, the costs that you're dealing
with, the environment that we're dealing with, everything

(07:51):
has been as a result of Democrat policies.
And to your point,
no one seems to realize that the root
cause of all of this is Democrat policy,
Democrat
legislation,
and Democrat
executive decisions
from the governor's mansion.
And, ultimately, this is not good for New
Jersey, and Jack can turn this around. I

(08:11):
agree. And, I think it's unfortunate
because it seems to me that,
the Democrats
have lost themselves,
to
progressive ideas that are radical. And I wanna
see a two party system where both parties
are strong so that they can debate on
issues,
and they can come up with solutions and

(08:32):
find the best solutions to the problem. And,
unfortunately,
the problems, like you said, have been created
by policy
in the Democratic Party. And, I want that
to change. I want it to get more
to the center for both parties, actually, so
that common sense prevails. And I like Jack
Ciattarelli because everything he explained

(08:53):
was just so bare bone, broken down, and
common
that anybody can relate if they bother to
open their ears and open their eyes to
look and listen.
Yeah. No question. And and, look, politics,
especially elections, especially the final forty days or
so,
it gets very vicious. And when these things

(09:13):
start to come out, right, you know, the
the running joke is there's always an October
surprise if you if you make it happen.
And this essentially is a lucky balance for
the Republicans among other things because of just
the environment of being outnumbered by hundreds of
thousands of registered voters, but making Jack's message
come across and connect. It's nothing of these
radical

(09:34):
lunatic type policies.
It's simple things. It's simp it's the cost
of living like you talked about. It's taxes.
It's being able to make it
in New Jersey instead of leaving because guess
what? When one person leaves, their family, their
relatives,
their even their friends may follow
to find other places. And Murphy is that

(09:54):
point blank, he wanted to make New Jersey
the East Coast version of California.
And should Mikey Sherrill somehow get elected on
November 4, she'll make that happen because she's
not normal. She's not even a normal Democrat
from any walk of life. Her views are
radical. She wants to indoctrinate children. She didn't
wouldn't commit to not raising taxes on an

(10:16):
already obliterated
tax base in New Jersey. All these things,
even if you don't even like Jack, even
if you don't like the fact there's an
r after his name,
put them in. Because guess what? You can
switch the light switch back in two or
four years if you don't like it. But
how is it any different
than what we've been dealing with arguably in

(10:37):
the last quarter century if you keep putting
in someone like Mikey Sheryl. And again, it
comes back to now her character
in what she's
built her entire reputation and brand on dating
back to the Naval Academy. And she needs
to be transparent, and she needs to reveal
things that she has yet to do. And
if she doesn't reveal it, I'm sure some
of the stuff will come out. You you

(10:57):
had mentioned transparency.
The fact that she wasn't able to answer
for the amount of money.
She tripled
her her revenue.
She increased her wealth
by triple in the years that she spent
in in
politics, and she can't answer for that or
chooses not to.
That

(11:18):
in and of itself is reason enough not
to trust her. I mean, it's just because
you're you're not going to admit to the
fact that you're dishonest.
Why would she? And it's sad that the
Democratic Party thought to put somebody like her
in a place to contend for
governor of New Jersey
when she's already proven herself to be dishonest.

(11:40):
At least she's gaslighting. I mean, at the
very least, she's gaslighting, which is a scary
thing
to think that you wanna have somebody in
a position of leadership that you can trust.
And
the bottom line for me, you know, having
for the most part been raised in New
Jersey is that she's not from New Jersey,
you know. Whereas, you mentioned
this desire to retire in the state. Jack

(12:02):
Ciattarelli is generational.
And that's one of the things that I
think he mentioned is, there's a fear that
people will leave the state because the taxes
are too high, because the cost of living
is too high.
And that's not what he wants and that's
not what he's seen,
his family experience, which is, you know, settling
down, living the duration of their lives with

(12:23):
their families
in this state, because it is beautiful.
I mean, for for everybody that's willing to
say it's the armpit
of the of the country.
They haven't experienced New Jersey enough to understand.
It's called the Garden State for a reason.
We have beautiful beaches, the sands of which
are some of the nicest you'll find in

(12:44):
the world.
The ocean is gorgeous. I mean, there's just
so much that you can find here that
is beautiful,
and it's a shame that it would be
made ugly by a politician who you cannot
trust.
Yeah. I mean, even further, we got mountains.
We got hiking. We've got all kinds of
stuff in the state of New Jersey up
and down,

(13:04):
the Garden State Parkway. It's just a beautiful
place. It's just the highest density
of,
dare I say people that may not be
ones we'd wanna associate with. And that's who
we have to compete with ideas. And to
your point, Mikey Sherrill's from Virginia.
Corzine
was from,
Illinois, and Murphy is from Massachusetts. Massachusetts. You've

(13:24):
elected governors and potentially could elect another governor
who's not born and bred here, who doesn't
understand
the awesomeness of New Jersey and what it
has to offer just from an infrastructure standpoint
from, you know, knowing it as a garden
state, but all these things
that make people stay in the state of
New Jersey. Right? And that they love state
of New Jersey. But when you have to

(13:46):
your point, when you have leaders that are
not transparent, that are not honest. I mean,
you watch the debate on Sunday between Mikey
Sherrill and Jack Ciattarelli. And what she did
tactically
as a political debater was not to engage
and answer questions that she herself knows is
radical. And the reason I know she knows
it's radical is because she didn't give an

(14:06):
answer. She skipped over it and then used
it to lob and attack at Jack instead
of actually answering the question, whether it had
to do with allowing,
boys to compete in girls sports or more
trans indoctrination
of all these LGBQ
alphabet letter indoctrination
into minors education
at the behest of the state, not committing

(14:29):
to,
getting our businesses
and the the economic
environment in order. She couldn't answer any of
this, so she skipped over them. She just
called Jack a liar. She called him this.
She said this. She lied. She talked about
the sales tax nonsense, which we know is
all taken out of context. He was not
talking about it. He was comparing to the
tax system in Tennessee, etcetera.

(14:50):
So all this stuff,
you have forty or so days until November
4 where this can be fleshed out and
the choice is simple. Continue on the path
that we're going, which is to deep blue
failed state status
or have the brakes put on and have
a revitalization

(15:10):
that we can at least improve things and
not continue on the path that we are.
So we continue on the path that we
are.
Unfortunately, you know, we're gonna have a mass
exodus, probably the likes of which we never
seen if if Jack Jarley is not elected
in November.
You're talking with Anne on news talk fourteen
hundred and ninety two point three w o

(15:31):
n d. Good morning, everyone. This is Ann
Baker, with Tim Baker and Brian Fitzherbert on
talking with Ann. And,
you know, Tim and I were here. We're
we're talking,
and I mentioned,
something that he, of course, abhors as does,
as do does anyone
who is,

(15:52):
civilized,
and that is Antifa.
And Antifa
is, of course, now a terrorist organization.
But Tim mentioned, hey, ma.
Sourav Sourav, you know, the Open Society Foundation,
he gives hundreds of millions of dollars to,
dozens upon dozens of organizations. Each and every

(16:14):
one of them is involved in trying to
overturn The United States Of America, our democracy,
our republic.
So,
to either one of you,
what do we make of it? Are we
happy about,
this? And should Soros
be also considered a terrorist
who is unable

(16:34):
to spend his money in our country? Well,
I think that,
they the fact that
Antifa was designated a terrorist organization,
and then shortly thereafter, it was,
brought to light that Soros was going to
be investigated.
That's not a coincidence.
And I also think that Antifa,

(16:55):
anti fascist I always ask, what's in a
name? You know, the National Socialist Party of
Germany.
Sounds really great, doesn't it? But it turned
out they were the Nazis. And
Antifa, as as much of the ring of
of anti fascism
it may have, is the epitome or the
definition of
fascist. Because

(17:17):
like the brown shirts of Germany in the
thirties,
they rule
with violence, with intimidation,
with, censoring and silencing
anybody that doesn't agree with them.
And they've been around for a while ever
since
the,
rallies of the two thousand sixteen election where
they were attacking people dressed in black. They

(17:38):
were, with their face mask and their helmets
and attacking people that were coming out of
these
political rallies to support
Donald Trump. And,
yeah, I I just recall in one instance,
there was an elderly couple
that had just left and was crossing the
street. And I think one of them might
have been impaired physically, had a walker or

(17:59):
something.
And these young
communists
who are Antifa
and terrorists
were up in their face screaming at them,
threatening them violence
because they had a different political
point of view. And it's just it's remarkable
that anybody with any sort of intelligence

(18:19):
would deny or try to argue that this
group, Antifa, isn't comprised
of communists
and terrorists.
Oh, boy. Well, you know what? We're we're
gonna keep that,
uppermost in our minds because we have to
take a a break right now. But when
we return,
I hope that everybody is looking it up
on their,

(18:41):
Google.
Maybe we shouldn't go to Google, but nonetheless,
we'll be looking this up because it's important.
It's important to our country. It's important that
we overturn. O n d Pleasantville. Ann Baker
is on Newstart 1492.3
W 0 N D. Wanna talk with Anne?
Call (609) 927-1100.

(19:02):
Good morning, everyone. This is Anne Baker with
Tim Baker and, of course, Brian Fitzherbert on
Fitzherbert Friday.
Rich Sykes, you're on the line. Good morning,
sir. Welcome. How are you?
Hello? Hello?
Yes.
Yes. How are you? Oh, I'm on. You
are on, sir.

(19:23):
Oh, okay.
I was listening to,
your guest speaking about, say,
the governor's
race. Mhmm. And this, Carol girl,
she's already got the ad,
very welcome bit saying that, if she wins
if if, Jack wins,

(19:43):
the the property taxes, everything's gonna work 10%.
How how could he let this happen?
It's just such a,
an ad like this. It's it's false. It's
completely untrue. They're allowed to do that,
Rich.
They're they're allowed to lie on these ads,
and it's up to us as the voter
to do our due diligence,

(20:05):
to do the research
that allows us to see that it is
a total falsehood,
this
particular ad
that,
this,
naval academy,
didn't walk in her,
graduating class because of cheating, that she didn't
turn people over, that this woman,
is is talking about.

(20:26):
What they did was they cherry picked.
They cherry picked. Getting her back around there.
Yes. They should.
They should. You would have you would have
thought that the Democrat party putting her up
for governorship,
that they would have done their due diligence,
wouldn't you, Rich?
Yeah. Well, they I just heard yesterday. She
she's been investigated,
by certain people.

(20:47):
But
how how could we be so stupid
to let people from out of state
become our governors every time?
I I just don't understand that how that
happens. It's beyond beyond me. Brian, what do
you think?
Look. This this is what it comes down
to when,
candidates need resources because the opponents are gonna

(21:08):
lie. They're gonna slander. They're gonna libel. They're
gonna do everything they possibly can to try
to get some advantage. And when you have
this I mean, the normal thing is to,
you know, take this to court, go through,
and and whatnot. And by that time, the
election's over. So there's no point in wasting
your resources to do that. So you have
to be able to not only have money
and resources to have ads of your own
saying that this is a lie, but talk

(21:28):
about what you're actually going to do. And,
again, this is what the importance is. And,
unfortunately, I hope
more national Republicans will
inject more money into the Garden State like
the Democrats have. Democrats
are on par for $23,000,000.
That's the national Democrats. National Republicans, I think
it's only a million so far. So hopefully,
this will, send a flag in the air

(21:49):
that, hey, this race is winnable and we
need some resources
to counteract this, especially when there's blood in
the water with this complete scandal with Mikey
Sherrill. So, again,
there's gonna be lies. There's gonna be all
kinds of things. The voters have to do
their due diligence. They gotta share that. They
can't keep it to themselves. They gotta tell
their friends, their family, their neighbors, whoever they
interact with, Hey. Hey. Have you heard about

(22:11):
this guy, Jack Chiarelli? This is what's gonna
be better if he gets elected November November
4. Make sure you go out and vote
ahead of that or on election day to
make sure that he gets elected because we
can't take what's going on in the state
of New Jersey anymore, especially when to to
callers point to my point earlier, we've had
governors on the Democrat side that aren't even
from New Jersey. They don't understand how the

(22:31):
Garden State works.
Yeah.
You know, Jack's a very down to earth,
sure guy, and I think he's a little
soft fighting, a very dirty fighter.
He's gotta get a little tough, I believe.
If you if you spoke to him,
you wouldn't think that way because he would
let you know. Yeah. The way it is,

(22:52):
but that's the way I believe he better
better turn
or else it's gonna get rolled over by
the the Democrats.
Yeah. Basically.
I know. You you you would love to
see an advertisement, a nice short advertisement coming
in after every, one of these Mikey Sheryl,
10% Jack Ciattarelli
crap. You would like to see it come
right afterwards where he actually says

(23:15):
exactly where they cherry picked
what he was talking about, the states he
was talking about who have, in fact, 10%
taxes. But,
you know, sometimes you just have to focus
on on the,
the most important things, and that it should
be our education.
I'm gonna certainly go tell everybody I know

(23:35):
of don't don't miss anything.
Rich
Rich, pick up people. Everything goes well. Yeah.
Rich, pick up Rick pitch
did did that.
Pick up people. Take them to the polling
places.
Remind them to vote. If they've got a
ballot sitting at home, tell them fill it
out, get it out in the mail.

(23:56):
Otherwise, if they need a ride, I hope
that you're available to give them a ride
to the polling place so they can they
can
do their,
civic duty, which is the most important duty
that each and every one of us has
to vote. Anyway, Rich, thank you. Appreciate the
call.
Jenny, good morning. We got you back.

(24:18):
Hey. I'm here. I'm here.
I am so I am
I am so enjoying listening
to your two guests.
And, what I wanna say is I'm sitting
here watching well, I'm doing paperwork, but I'm
watching,
the weather channel.
They are bombarded
with Democrat
Nikki Sherrill ads.

(24:40):
There are there were nine of them in
40
can you believe this? On the weather channel.
Well, they're they're calling for an ugly storm.
And that's Mikey Sheryl. That's her.
Maybe when the when the weather changes and
it's gonna be sunshine, no humidity,

(25:01):
that's, when Jack will Joe throw in, an
out of his his own. We'll see. Well,
I'll tell you that they're the Democrats
must be rattled
because they're putting out all these ads,
and it's constant.
It's constant.
I took the sound I I I muted
my sound, and I'm just looking up at

(25:21):
the TV, and I counted nine
in forty seven minutes. Wow. Wow. That's, that's
desperation
showing its ugly face. Yeah.
I know. And and all we can do
is continue to talk about how great Jack
Ciattarelli is because he is.
And we can for you. And we can
look at that commercial that that, Cheryl put

(25:43):
out about the 10%.
And we can tell people, cherry picked every
one of the words that they use. They've
got that,
the the the volume thing on the on
the bottom of this, commercial that they put
out. Every single word was cherry picked from
what he said about other states and their
taxes
had nothing to do with New Jersey and

(26:04):
what he was going to do because he's
already talked to us about what he's gonna
do with taxes and how he's gonna really
help the elderly. I mean, people who own
taxes,
70 years old, that's it. Your taxes aren't
going to go up ever again
on your home, so you can count on
it. Well and he's gotta win. He has

(26:25):
to win. I think the election was stolen
from him before.
Yeah. And, we can't let the election be
stolen from him again.
I I wanna hear more about this cheating
at the Naval Academy.
Well, apparently, they're doing an investigation.
More will come out.
She you know,

(26:47):
she had she she actually put out this
thing congratulating
three of the New Jersey
young people who got into military
academies.
Two of them were her two of them
were her children that got into the naval
academy.
She's a proud mom. That's right. She's a
proud mom. But I wonder if she had

(27:08):
anything to do with her children
getting into the naval academy.
Holy moly.
You know, none of her so called qualifications
are the least relevant
to being governor.
None. Yeah. I agree.
I absolutely agree.
Well, all we can do is box checker.

(27:28):
She's a she's a box checker.
Jack Titterally is an accountant. He's a numbers
guy.
He's he's what we absolutely need.
Oh, Jenny. I'm I'm just hearing her,
talk about all these
qualifications
that she has. None of them are relevant

(27:50):
to the garnership.
She has none. Numbers guy. Yeah. Yeah. She
she has none.
Ginny, just get all the people in your
neighborhood who need rides to the polls on,
on on November and get them over there
to vote and remind them. You know? If
you have to make up your own sheet
of the qualifications
of both candidates while they're in the back

(28:10):
of your car, that they can read it
before they go into the polling place.
Believe me Oh, yeah. It'll be overwhelming. Jack
Ciattarelli
should win. Anyway, Ginny, thank you. Appreciate it,
my friend. He should've won before, but we
have to keep working. I know. I know.
But he's gonna win this time. God willing.
There you go.
Anyway,

(28:33):
Brian,
Tim,
what do you gotta say for yourself?
Yeah. I mean, again, this kinda points out
to what Jenny and what we've been talking
about. Candidates and campaigns need resources.
And, to be able to stop the flood
of ads that Mikey Sherrill is sending our
way, you know, Republicans should be doing same.
It's not just Jack raising money, but we

(28:53):
have 21 county,
Republican organizations.
That their balance should be zero after November
4. They should spend everything
they have in their campaign accounts,
to help Jack get elected. If there's anything
if there's any GOP organization that has any
money left over,
and this doesn't go our way, we're gonna

(29:14):
we're gonna know a place to start to
blame. And even more so with, elected officials
in districts that are not competitive,
they should be redirecting their resources
again to Jack Ciattarelli and we should get
national help
from, the National Republican Organization as well as
the Governors Association,
to infuse more resources into this race. And

(29:34):
those are those are your fundamental things, and
hopefully that is happening and that will happen.
But,
again, the resources, the opportunity, the the lucky
balances, the stars aligning, it's all there to
make this happen and get a Republican elector
on November 4. You know, I think, just
the fact that Ginny had said while watching
the weather channel that she saw

(29:55):
nine
television advertisements
for Jack's opponent
speaks to what you're saying, Brian, that the
Republicans
must get on board. There is a real
opportunity here.
New Jersey has gone red before
with Chris Christie. There's an opportunity now to
make it a Republican state once again. And
like you said, there's an off ramp. After
two years,

(30:16):
somebody's not happy with the decision they made
for governor. They have the option to bring
in more of a Democratic influence
in the state.
So,
Republicans,
people with the the,
purse strings, if you're hearing it, start to
spend some money. And that way, Jack can
be more competitive and have an equal amount

(30:36):
of advertisements on TV, on the radio. That's
right. Just to refute the lies.
Anyway, we
go ahead.
No. I was just gonna say that's what
it comes down to, unfortunately.
It's money, it's messaging, and it's momentum.
And we gotta make sure all three of
those continue on until November 4. You bet.
Steve from Mays Landing. Hi, Steve. How are

(30:58):
you? How was your meeting?
Oh, it was good. Doing good. Always learned
something new.
You betcha. So what's up?
I I just wanted to mention, the new
American, the newamerican.com,
they put out a thing called the Freedom
Index.
Mhmm. And Mikey Sherrill's rating as far as
constitutional votes in the hundred and ninety first

(31:19):
congress Mhmm. Was zero.
Yeah. And the year she's been there, I
think it's 5%
that she's,
she's actually voted in a constitutional
manner for the good of the citizen.
Amazing. Her lifetime score
is, 5%.
So,
you can't get much worse than that.

(31:40):
No. No. You you you really can't. And
perhaps we should be paying more attention to
that when our legislators vote that we put
it into the proper column.
Was this a constitutional
vote? Did it uphold our state constitution
as well as our federal constitution?
Maybe we need more of that, more of
our eyes on that,

(32:01):
so that we understand
what the people that we're voting for,
who we're voting for are actually doing something
that will represent the people in the best
way possible.
I don't know whether that's gonna come about
or not, but,
I'm glad that the new American does it
anyway.
One thing that is encouraging is listening to
your son and Brian.

(32:23):
Yeah. Hey. Thanks.
You got it. Alright. Thanks. Thank you, Steve.
Have a great day, sir. Have a great
weekend. God bless.
Yeah. This is, you know, all all the
things that we talk about here on air
are important in some way, shape, or form.
Having Tim here I mean, Tim has Tim,

(32:43):
you've always been interested in politics, haven't you?
A little bit. I mean, I'm I'm not
throwing myself headlong into the game.
But I think as a civic duty, it's
important to know what's going on around you.
And, absolutely, you should be voting. If that's
the the the least of your involvement, you
should absolutely be doing that.
But,
yeah, politics affects

(33:05):
everything in our lives. So it's important to
know a little something about it, for sure.
Yeah.
And I know Brian feels the same way.
I mean, Brian, you've run for for office.
You understand the ramifications
of running on your personal life, on your
work life, on everything.
And yet you you took the bull by

(33:26):
the horns and,
you know, spread a message.
Do you think you'd ever do it again?
I don't know. You know, it's it's a
funny question I get asked a lot, and
Star's gotta align. Things gotta work out in
favor, timings, everything.
But being engaged, being involved, doing everything that
you possibly can, so Tim's point, being engaged,

(33:47):
being aware of what's going on around you.
Unfortunately, politics has,
infected every aspect of life now. It's not
just, you know, every election year or every
two years or every four years, you know,
it's it's been unfortunately infiltrated into sports. It's
been infiltrated into schooling. It's been infiltrated
into medicine. It's been infiltrated into Hollywood.

(34:08):
You can't go two feet without having to
deal with politics.
And that is a reason even in itself
to become more informed and educated
about the things that are going on. It's
it's unfortunate when you do know all this
stuff because when you're watching a movie or
a TV show, you can see,
exactly what's being done five seconds before,
and what the message that you're trying to

(34:28):
convey good, bad or indifferent,
and the exposure in terms of education and
school, all that kind of stuff. You have
to be,
involved and informed and educate because, you know,
the the
stuff that actually impacts you on a daily
basis is the not flashy stuff. It's not
the,
presidential elections that has the most turnout. Right?

(34:49):
You know, you look at turnout for governor
versus president,
you know, only
two fifths of people come out for gubernatorial
race, but just a year before, nearly half
of the people come out.
So that alone is is something that needs
to be improved upon. It's not especially in
New Jersey. Right? Elections are every year. It's

(35:09):
not every of the year like in every
other state except for Virginia. We have off
year, odd year elections as well as the
national elections. So it's every year, and we
have to keep that at the forefront and
keep pushing forward, keep moving the football.
Even though we're gonna get hit, we're gonna
lose you our age. We gotta move the
football further down the field to the end
zone to the principles and the values that

(35:30):
we stand tall for. You know, you you'd
said something about, how politics is infused in
almost every aspect of our lives, and I
agree.
And, I know I had mentioned earlier about
following blindly as though in a cult. And,
I think especially when you mentioned Hollyweird I
mean, Hollywood
and how certain mouthpieces,

(35:51):
just come out and directly,
say who they're going to support as though
they've been paid off to do so, Beyonce.
And
you need to talk about cults. Those would
be the cult leaders. And it's it's really
scary that people aren't informed. They don't try
to get the big picture, the the full
picture that is, and instead

(36:12):
just see something pretty on a shelf and
pick it up and play with it. So
if their favorite actor, actress, or
musician
happens to say vote this way,
they do it. And it's and it's insane
that we've given the choice, which is the
most important thing we can do as as
citizens is to vote.
They've given the choice over to somebody that

(36:33):
they like to watch on TV or listen
to on the w o n d Pleasantville.
W 223 c o Atlantic City. News talk
+1.
W o n d.
This is Anne Baker, and I wanna thank,
Brian Sysherbert
for,
coming on as he does

(36:54):
almost every single Friday.
Brian, thank you. I know you give up
your special time.
I don't know whether Luke's there
or he's,
at school,
but, I thank you for all that, you
give
because you are on top of everything. You're
gonna have your liberty and prosperity meeting at
South Pizza Place on New Road in Somers

(37:16):
Point tomorrow?
Correct. 09:30AM.
Come talk about the issues. You bet. Hey,
Brian. It was a pleasure to have met
you this past week. And,
just to let you know, if you run,
again, I will vote for you.
There you go.
I appreciate that. It was a pleasure meeting
you, and thanks for having me on. As
always, it was great to have a conversation

(37:36):
with Tim. And, you know, it's always worth
my lunch to, be on the radio talking
with Anne. So thanks for having me. Thanks,
Brian. Have a great weekend, sir. Give my
love to all.
Anyway,
Tim, thank you Yeah. For, It was great
to be here. Thank you for Lot of
fun. For, coming on. It's,
it's

(37:57):
it's fun about the some of the most
serious things you could possibly think of. You
know, it's fun to be able to sit
here and talk and put your ideas out
there. And you, you know, you say, oh,
you know, I'm not, you know, politics.
Yeah. But as you said, it it affects
every single,
piece of our lives and our livelihoods.

(38:19):
And, you came on and, you really do
have your finger on the pulse.
You're quite erudite. You you are able to
speak clearly about the issues.
It's just my opinion. Uh-huh. And everyone's entitled
to their opinion. I, I don't wanna be
harsh on any one group or person, but,
I just have my opinions and I wanna

(38:39):
see what's best for this country, this world.
And there you go. And he is,
he's my son.
I love it. Love it. Anyway,
please take care of yourselves and know that
you never walk alone. God is always with
you. I don't care whether you believe in
him or not. I don't care whether your
life has been the pits or not. He's

(39:01):
still with you, and he's waiting for you
to call on him. Because eventually,
you will.
You will fall into a place where you're
going to need the help of the lord
almighty,
where
whatever comes your way in the lit path
you decide to take
after you've called on him, you will find
your way. You will make your way to

(39:25):
the promised land.
So please please take care of yourselves mentally,
physically, spiritually,
emotionally,
financially,
and educationally
so you can take care of your family,
your friends, your neighbors, and your community.
Really,
everything
that you have got to give, be willing

(39:46):
to give it for the good, the greater
good of the world at large.
And ask God to please bring all people
to him. Just as Charlie Kirk did when
he went to speak to to debate
to show that he loved everyone,
yeah, let all of us, in fact, be
inclined to do the same. So may God
bless each and every one of us. May

(40:08):
God bless the greatest country in the world,
The United States Of America. Amen. And
know this, I do love you.
