Oct 11 2025. Seth Grossman on WPG Radio. 9:15a every Sat. (95.5 FM in most of South Jersey, wpgtalkradio.com.) SETH GROSSMAN:  First, please let me remind everybody that Liberty and Prosperity meets for breakfast every Saturday morning from 09:30 to 10:30 in Somers Point.  Anyone who cares about bringing Liberty and Prosperity back to New Jersey and America is welcome to join us. You always learn new stuff and you have a chance to share your information with others. However, the group can also help you with your pet issue or personal cause. You have a chance to persuade others to support you. We have a website, we have emails that reach about 5,000 people each week, we have Facebook and X, and of course we have our talks on the radio.  Of course, if you have some personal grievance like your neighbor is making too much noise or they didn't pick up your trash on time, you have to deal with that on your own. But if you have an issue that affects the liberty and prosperity of everybody, we want to hear about it and we want to help you. FAKE RECYCLING IS A TYPICAL LIBERTY ISSUE FOR BREAKFAST DISCUSSIONS: Fake recycling is a typical liberty issue. The government forces all of us to sort out our garbage. Then we waste time and fossil fuel washing the plastic and the cans so we don't attract bugs. We waste salaries and gas having it picked up on different days by different crews with different sets of trucks. And it's all fake.  It's all a total scam. They hardly recycle anything. They put your plastic on trucks and take it to ships in Bayonne.  From there it goes to some third world country in Asia or Africa. There it gets dumped near a river and ends up polluting our oceans. So, if you have an issue like that, and think you are the only person bothered by it, you should come to our Saturday breakfast and talk about it. You may find a lot of folks who agree with you. We also invite everyone to visit our website at libertyandprosperity.com a few times a week. And please subscribe to our free weekly email updates. Sign up on the home page of our website or email us at info@libertyandprosperity.com.  4 BIG LIES IN 30 SECOND MIKIE SHERRILL TV AD. But to go back to, Mikie Sherrill. She's the Democrat who's running for, Governor against Republican Jack Ciattarelli. It is absolutely infuriating to watch her 30 second TV spots spouting one blatant lie after another. And, of course, anyone who listens to this program or comes to our breakfasts or website, or gets our emails recognize those lies. However, most people don't. That is why is is the job of everybody listening to this program, and everybody who follows us to talk to our spouses, our kids, and grandkids and everyone we know to tell them the truth. These lies are more serious than whether she helped cover up cheating at the Naval Academy years ago. Mikie Sherrill did not graduate in June with the rest of her class. She had to stay at the Naval Academy for an extra eight months. She says she didn't cheat, but that she would not cooperate with the investigation to say who did. That's part of the issue. a bigger part was the Democrat agenda of so-called "diversity, equity and inclusion".  Democratic Presidents like Clinton, Obama and Biden forced the service academies to take in a lot of people who were just not qualified to be there in the first place. So, of course, they created a culture of cheating to get people to graduate. And it looks like one of the people who was cheating was Mikey Sherrill's husband, who was also in the academy. So you have that whole mess.  But to me, the biggest lies are in the Mikie Sherrill TV commercials.  I've never before seen so many lies packed into one 30 second spot like that before. They start by pretending that Mikie Sherrill was a heroic combat helicopter pilot. They don't tell you that Mikie Sherrill spent most of her time in the military behind a desk, working on some headquarters on land.

(00:00):
We're gonna turn it over to Seth Grossman,
and and Seth has found some interesting things.
His organization, Liberty and Prosperity,
I tell you what, they dig in. They
they really dig in.
Seth, do you wanna talk about for a
moment? I know you have an agenda.
But,
you wanna talk about this issue of Jackie

(00:20):
Sherrill or Mikey Sherrill,
the cheating scandal when she was at the
Naval Academy and what you found out as
far as that's concerned?
Well, that's just a small part of the
total lies that that Mikey Sheryl is telling
us,
and it's very frustrating. By the way, before
I go on to that, let me just

(00:40):
remind everybody that Liberty and Prosperity
meets for breakfast every Saturday morning from 09:30
to 10:30.
Anyone who cares about Liberty, who wants to
discuss things is welcome to come.
And by the way, not only do you
learn stuff and not only do you share
your information,
but at these breakfasts, if you have a
a personal pet issue, like a cause,

(01:02):
you could get the full resources of liberty
and prosperity
behind your cause.
We have a website, we have an email
that reaches about 5,000 people a week, we
have the social media,
and of course, we have our,
our talks on the radio.
Now now, of course, if you have a
a a personal grievance like your neighbors making
too much noise or they didn't pick up

(01:22):
your trash on time, now that's not an
issue. But if you have a a liberty
issue,
such as,
talking about, well, why am I recycling? Why
do I have to wash my garbage? What,
if if all they do is they take
my plastic stuff and they put it on
a ship and they send it somewhere
in Asia where they dump it in the
ocean, you know, what, you know, why should

(01:42):
I, you know, why am I doing this?
If you have an issue that affects other
people,
please share that. We may end up doing
it. And of course, we invite people to
go to our libertyandprosperity.com
website,
to subscribe to our free email updates at
info@libertyandprosperity.com.
But
to go back to,
Mikey Sherrill, the democrat who's running for, governor

(02:05):
against Jack Ciattarelli,
when and it's just infuriating
when I I watch her thirty second spots
and just see one blatant lie after another.
And, of course, anyone who goes to libertyandprosperity.com
meeting or who gets our information
knows how blatant these lies are, but most
people don't. So it's the job of everybody

(02:27):
listening to this program,
and everybody who reads our,
our email updates and looks at our website
to talk to your,
spouses, talk to your, you know, your kids,
your grandkids, your nieces, nephews, the people at
work. But here's here's what I I think.
It's not so much the cheating scandal.
You know, other than the fact that,
she said, well, I,
I

(02:47):
I I lied. You know, I wouldn't tell
who the cheater was,
on on this exam.
And, of course, the reason the cheating was
widespread at the time
is that because of diversity, equity, and inclusion,
your, service academies,
under,
you know, Biden and Clinton,
you know, and and Obama, they were taking
all these people who weren't qualified to be

(03:09):
there in the first place. So, of course,
they had a culture of cheating to get
people to graduate.
And it turns out that it looks like
one of the people who was cheating was
Mikey Sherrill's husband, who was also in the
academy. So you have that whole mess.
But to me,
that's a small part of the big lies.
The biggest lie, I think, in the Mikey

(03:30):
Sherrill commercials.
She says,
I'm a helicopter pilot. And on day one,
I'm gonna declare a state of emergency
to freeze all electric bills for one year.
Now now how could you do that?
You know, it it's it's we have a
constitution.
You can't force any business

(03:51):
to sell something for less than it cost
to make it.
And we all know that the reason electric
bills are so high is that governor Murphy
shut six power plants down during the past
eight years. One of them, of course, by
the,
Ocean City Bridge
by
Beasley's Point, Mile Post 30 on the Parkway.
And because of that, we have to pay

(04:12):
exorbitant rates
to buy electricity from out of state and
even in Canada.
So let's say,
you know, so let let's say that the
Mikey Sheryl says, okay. I just got elected
governor. I declare an emergency.
Well, how can she declare an emergency
if,
you know, she supports the Murphy Green Energy

(04:32):
that says we're gonna shut down everything with
coal, gas, natural gas, or oil.
So
if you're depending on wind and solar, well,
it it doesn't produce any energy when you
need it. So you have to pay by
expensive stuff from out of state.
Well, what happens if if not, you don't
have enough money to pay for the stuff
because you have a freeze on the bills?

(04:54):
Do you think that the people in the
other states are gonna sell us electricity if
we don't pay them? We're gonna say, well,
we're gonna freeze our our payments,
number one. And number two, if you're gonna
force the electric company
to,
run at a loss
and to pay more money
to buy the electricity
electricity that are gonna sell it, They'll be
in court in, like, a half an hour

(05:16):
and and get that, so called emergency knocked
out. And number three, how can you call
it an emergency
if she she's saying publicly, well, we need,
to protect the planet even if we have
to pay an arm and leg for the
electricity.
So the whole claim is ridiculous,
and the only one who makes any sense
is, Jack Ciattarelli when he says, the only

(05:37):
way to bring back electric rates is to
reopen
the six power plants
that, Murphy ripped, you know, tore down. And
if, you know, some of them, you could
just, you know, open up a switch and
reopen them. Like in Oyster Creek with that
nuclear plant and some of the others. Of
course, they demolish the plant at Beasley's Point,
but you could have fast track construction and

(05:58):
get something with natural gas open pretty quickly.
So it's a total lie. And the other
thing and it and and one thing I
have to admire about Mikey Sherrill, how she
could pack so many lies
into one thirty second spot.
I mean,
it's a marvel because somehow she puts in
there again. And I was a tough prosecutor.

(06:18):
No. She was not a tough prosecutor.
If you look at Michael Mikey Sherrill's resume,
she was with the US attorney's office for
five years, but she was not a prosecutor.
You know what her her title was? She
was an outreach and reentry coordinator.
It was her job
to to get prisoners coming out of prison
and get some counseling, get some jobs, get

(06:40):
them housing, get them medical care.
So she was really into, you know, helping
criminals. That was her job in the US
attorney's office.
And then, she did that for four years
of her five years there. Then in the
fifth year, they made her a prosecutor for
a few months, but anyone who's a lawyer
knows you can't just learn how to be
a prosecutor in less than a year. So

(07:01):
she really didn't prosecute any cases. All she
did was outreach for prisoners.
And as soon as she was doing a
prosecutor job,
she quit. And then she said she was,
pursuing a career in, I think she called
it criminal justice reform.
And she did that, you know, she never
did find a job, but then she decided
to run for congress. And then somebody gave

(07:23):
her 3 point rather, $2,700,000
to run for congress, and then she got
elected during the, the blue wave. So,
I mean, for her to say in one
thirty second ad that she's gonna freeze electric
rates, that she's a prosecutor.
Oh, and she also said, she's gonna,
cut property taxes.
And and, of course,

(07:43):
all the stuff that she's for, you know,
mandating, you know, higher salaries. She supports the
union. She supports supports borrowing money,
for all these things. So
and by the way, the big reason that
property taxes are so high in our suburban
towns
is we have something called the income tax.
And every dollar of that income tax is

(08:04):
earmarked for what they call property tax relief.
And anyone old enough,
like me, remember Steve Persky going around saying,
yeah, we're gonna have the people who could
afford based on income. They're gonna put money
into the property tax relief fund, and then
that money is gonna come back and it's
gonna lower everybody's property tax bills.
Well, we're collecting the money for the income

(08:24):
tax, and it is going into a property
tax relief fund.
But 80% of that money is going into,
like, Democrat districts,
you know, to to keep their programs going.
So so towns like,
you know, Pleasantville and Bridgeton and Camden and
and and Newark, you know, hardly pay any
property taxes while all the suburbs that vote

(08:46):
Republican get clobbered with property taxes. And, of
course, Murphy is doing it, and and Mikey
Sherrill's gonna do the same thing. So, it
it's just incredible, the lies you have there.
And and you know what? The thing is
people don't know that they're lies, and they
believe it. And then, oh, yeah. We're gonna
vote for her.
And
all these things she promised she can't do

(09:07):
anything about. That that that's the the the
bottom line.
Yeah.
It's a shame, but but, we gotta get
the word out. Now going to what you
were talking about with with Trump,
you know, one thing about Trump, you know,
he's doing the right thing,
in so many ways. But what he does
not do, and it's just not part of
his nature, is to before he says something,

(09:29):
he he doesn't sort of say, well, let
me see how that's gonna be sound over
the meat. Let me choose my words carefully.
One thing you can't can't accuse Trump of
doing is choosing his words carefully.
So, so so let's talk about, you know,
sending the troops into the cities.
Donald Trump has every right to send federal
troops

(09:50):
into any city to enforce our federal immigration
laws.
No doubt about that. And your your ICE,
your immigration and,
what they call it, immigration and customs enforcement,
ICE,
they're doing a job that needs to be
done. We talk about it over and over
again. We have 8,000,000,000 people in this country

(10:10):
in the world. And of them, 2,000,000,000 live
in extreme poverty because they have cultures,
they have,
governments
that discourage people from producing wealth and feeding
themselves.
So they're hungry. So the solution is to
help,
them adopt a culture and help them adopt
a government
so they could be prosperous and live the

(10:30):
American dream in their own country.
But if people live their whole lives thinking
that the way to get rich and and
successful is to take stuff from somebody else,
you bring,
millions of of those people to our country,
they're just gonna tear us down and
and, you know, they're not gonna have a
better life. They're just gonna bring their
failed countries,

(10:51):
and make our country a failed country. So
we have to enforce immigration laws. The other
thing we learned from Trump's first term is
building a wall does not keep out immigrants.
Because no matter how high you build the
wall,
if, you know, somebody gets through maybe one
out of three times, and then they know
once they make it in, they will never

(11:11):
get deported.
People will just keep trying and trying until
they get through, and that's what happened during
Trump's first term.
Now during Trump's second term,
where he's deporting people, yes, it's ugly to
watch the video of the people. I didn't
commit a crime. Why are you deporting me?
But they did notice that for the first
time in, like, forty years, we have zero

(11:33):
illegal immigration at the border. Yes. And that's
because,
you know, not that they're being stopped by
a wall. It's because people saying, gee,
if I get through, I'm gonna get thrown
right out again, and then I'm never gonna
pay back the mafia guys or the cartel
guys that got me in. So I better
not even try.
So, so that's the only way to do
it. And, of course, the Democrats,

(11:55):
they love,
illegal immigrants because every time you have illegal
immigrants in a blue state,
you get more,
representatives in Congress. You get more electoral votes
in the presidential election. You get a bigger
share of,
federal
welfare payments and all these other programs.
So they benefit from illegal immigrants, and they

(12:17):
love it. You know?
In fact, in New Jersey alone,
you you have, we have about 600,000
illegal immigrants.
And and for every 600,000
people you have, you get a congressional seat.
So basically, we have,
one additional congressional seat because of the illegal
immigrants. So of course the Democrats wanna keep

(12:39):
that for their district. And of course Chicago
wants to do that, and Trump is doing
the right thing.
But to say that but here's where Trump
gets careless. If you would just stick to
that,
explanation, which is the correct and legal explanation,
nobody could have any question with them. But
to say that you're going to use federal
troops to to to solve local crime,

(13:00):
number one, that's not constitutional.
And number two, that's not what's causing the
crime.
You talk to anybody,
liberal, conservative,
academics,
police officers, they'll tell you the problem with
crime is not that we don't have police
elect arresting criminals.
We are arresting all the criminals. The problem

(13:22):
is the judges
and and governors like governor Murphy who pardons
everybody and gives early releases,
you're turning the the criminals you arrest out
in the street as soon as they get
in. It's a statistical fact that about four
to 6%,
4% or 6% of the population
is committing,

(13:42):
like, 80 to 90% of the crimes.
So all you have to do is identify
the people we're already arresting
and keep them there, and instantly
our our our, cities will be safe.
But instead of talking about the obvious,
we're giving the illusion that somehow, you know,
having national guardsmen, you know, roaming the streets

(14:03):
are gonna make you safer. They'll make you
a little bit safer,
but but the real problem is that if
if you don't put the criminals away, as
soon as the, the guardsmen go home, you
can't keep the guardsmen out for years and
years. The criminals come out again. You gotta
put them away, and that's what we have
to talk about.
Man, you got a lot to talk about
today.

(14:24):
Yeah.
By by the way, some hopeful sign,
we always talk about the the biased news
media.
And if anybody is white watching television news,
you'll see something refreshing taking place on CBS
News, which is channel ten in our area.
I guess w k y w.

(14:45):
Basically
and and my daughter, my millennial daughter or
generation x daughter, put me on to her.
There's a a remarkable woman called Barry Weiss,
and she used to be the editorial one
of the editors of the New York Times.
And about five years ago, she got fired
by the New York Times
because she tried to present,

(15:07):
impartial journalism
and have all, you know, all sides, you
know, represented in the editorial page.
So they fired her for that because the
New York Times is just a hard left
radical left socialist communist whatever you want to
call it, hate America propaganda piece. So she
gets fired from the New York Times and
many people get fired from the New York

(15:28):
Times,
and that's how they keep it so radical.
But Barry Weiss did something
that nobody else did before.
He formed her own online
newspaper
called the Free Press.
And and and I didn't know anything about
it, but my you know, me as a
30 and 40 year old, were following her
and it just gave you really impartial news.

(15:49):
To make a long story short, that free
press got bought out by Paramount,
and Paramount is now,
put that
Barry Weiss news reporting
on CBS News. And I've been watching CBS
News, and you're getting very impartial,
objective news on CBS, which is the first

(16:09):
time I've ever seen a major network do
that. So there is a little bit of
good news out there.
We'll have to I'll have to watch that.
Yeah. You know, it's on CBS?
Yes. Yes. It is. Okay. And and finally,
you know, I'll leave leave with this. The
the the,
networks that are so biased, I was watching
MSNBC.

(16:30):
And what shocked me is they had some
radical left,
you know, Islamic,
you know, professor from Rutgers University, there's an
expert,
accusing Israel of genocide in Gaza.
And and when I was watching it, I
realized the legal loophole
that they are using to accuse Israel of

(16:50):
genocide in Gaza.
Because what is going on in Gaza, it's
urban warfare.
It's identical to what the US army faced
in Iraq, in Fallujah,
in Mosul,
in Hue, in Vietnam, when you have the
enemy is dug in
in in a city and you have to
get them out and they're shooting from houses
with women and children nearby,

(17:11):
there will be some civilian casualties.
But that's not genocide.
Israel is doing the same thing or was
doing the same thing in Gaza. So why
do they call it Gaza for Israel? They're
saying because Israel has the intention
to eliminate the Palestinian people. And that's what
makes it,
you know, genocide.
But the fact is there's no such thing

(17:32):
as a Palestinian people. You know, an Arab
in Palestine is the same as an Arab
in Egypt, an Arab in Lebanon, an Arab
in Arabia,
speak the same language, have the same religion,
no difference whatsoever. So because,
you know, the Jews in Israel saying, you
know, there there never was a Palestine. It
was created by the communist in the nineteen
sixties,
you know, to make it look like,

(17:54):
you know, Israel is big and the Palestinians
are small.
Because the Israelis dare to question
that, that's why they're calling it genocide.
But we all know what real genocide is.
Real genocide is when the, the Germans and
the Nazis in World War two took everybody
with a Jewish grandparent
and killed
them. Genocide is what the Muslims are doing

(18:14):
in Africa right now to the Christians.
Genocide where they just go, are you a
Christian?
You know, say a Muslim prayer. If you
can't say the Muslim prayer, we're gonna kill
you. Same thing with the, Hindus in Bangladesh.
That's genocide,
but all that Israel is doing was urban
warfare.
But because of that little loophole,
when they say because you don't recognize that

(18:35):
the Palestinian people are real people, which they're
not,
that's the loophole. And and you saw that
presented as fact as MSNBC.
So if I were you, I'd watch,
you know, CBS,
with Barry Weiss and, the whole new, network.
Anyway, Liberty and Prosperity breakfast going on Saturday
morning, 09:30 to 10:30, and, of course, on

(18:55):
the web at libertyandprosperity.com.
Thank you. Seth, thank you. Libertyandprosperity.com
