Life After the Impact #98: Justice for Dalaneo Martin Featuring DCAARPR Part 1

On this episode of Life After the Impact, we begin a powerful two-part series highlighting families and communities forever changed by police violence and systemic injustice.

Our first episode will focus on the tragic killing of Dalaneo Martin, a 17-year-old fatally shot by a U.S. Park Police officer while asleep in a car in Washington, DC. The shooting, captured on bodycam, has sparked national outrage and a federal civil rights investigation.

Joining us live will be Terra Martin, Dalaneo’s mother, who has bravely stepped forward to demand justice, accountability, and an end to police violence. Terra will share her experience, her pain, and her fight for her son’s memory to be honored with truth and justice.

Also joining the conversation is Kristen Bonner of the DC Alliance Against Racist and Political Repression (DCAARPR), a leading organizer in the fight for police accountability in DC.
