If you want to optimize your life for mastery, the best thing you can do for your growth is stay off your phone for the first hour and last hour of the day.
The first hour is best for priming your brain for success and if you're using your phone then you're priming your brain for mediocrity and cheap dopamine hits.
The last hour is best for winding down and planning the next day and if you're using your phone then you're missing out on high quality sleep that could impact your entire day the next morning.
If we want to win at this game we call life then we must learn to have discipline and structure in everything we do.
The 2 MOST important hours are the first and the last hours so if you don't optimize anything else then at least place your attention on those 2 hours.
Your personal development is a direct reflection of your inner state and if you can get your inner state to a higher frequency then you're set!
