The universe is not an accident, but an ON PURPOSE event. Each life was created ON PURPOSE to be lived ON PURPOSE. Join Mike Clayton, Alex Stiles and Daniel Clayton as we look to the provided instruction manual to find how to live our lives ON PURPOSE!
The subject of Shabbat “Sabbath” is being talked about in the aftermath of Charlie Kirk’s death. What is this day and why is it different from all other days. When and how did 7 become 1 and does it really matter?
How is your relationship with your Creator? Are you closer now than in the past? If so, how do you keep that closeness? Or is closeness not a word you would use to describe that relationship right now? In the end, you are as close as you have decided to be.
The assassination of Charlie Kirk has become a marker in history. Many will become anchored to the event instead of the event becoming a springboard to the future. We mourn the loss of a great and Godly man. The greatest honor we can pay would be to find ourselves and our purpose the way he did.
Reading Scripture may be a good thing, but without some seemly basic instructions on how to read, one can come to wrong conclusions. We should be looking for “theology” not “me-ology”!
Christianity, Judaism, Islam, New Age, New Thought. Everyone believes they are on the right path. Does believing you are on the right path make it the right path. Grab your snorkel as we dive into the deep end of the pool!
Agnostic or atheist. What is the difference and does it really matter in the end? How do we or should we engage in their arguments? Should we just disconnect from science and “higher learning”?
!00 episodes in the vault! Alex and Mike welcome guest host Jared Boehm. Jared’s life story is fascinating on so many levels. “Is there really a God and if so, do I really want to be accountable to Him?” Explaining God away did not work well for Jared and we should be thankful for that!
Life has the ability to teach us about life! The natural world we live in can teach us of the spiritual world and visa versa. We just need to open our eyes and desire to be taught.
Life is full of trials and tribulations. Understanding that Yah is faithful, not only in the good times, but the seeming bad times can help to see us through. Alex reports on his recent time of tribulation and the faithfulness of Yah through it.
Where is Yah when life does not go according to our plans? Are we treating life as a playground or a battleground. Knowing what life truly is allows us to live it for the purpose it was intended.
We live in a society that does not give value. Material items are for the most part disposable. Has that attitude also affected our relationships?
We all come into this world as children that are impatient. We want everything in the instant and if that does not happen, we throw a temper tantrum and suck all the peace out of the house. What if we never change our ways and take this same attitude into the rest of our lives? Time to learn a “Life Word!”
We all live in a bit of a bubble, but when our bubble becomes what we see the world as, we take ourselves out of the reality of life and effecting others around us. The bubble cannot become our lens to a world view. Time to see the world bigger than our own lives.
Life is an amazing gift. Yes, we are fearfully and wonderfully made, but each of us have a void we are born with. People go through their whole lives trying to fill that void, but miss the answer because they never find what the shape of the void is.
Most people believe that The Creator has a plan for their lives. Is it enough though to believe the plan will come to pass without our embracing it and being involved in it? What about a different plan from a different source? Let’s call that one the default plan.
The greatest enemy of a relationship with our Creator may not be sin, but rather religion. Are we looking for a formula to appease Him or a life to bring Him? In the end, He is as close to us as we allow Him to be.
“Modern day science is man’s attempt to explain creation without giving The Creator credit.” Are science and Scripture at odds with each other or is there an agenda to make one think there is? What is the real issue?
Look right! Look left! Judge yourself based on the standards you see in others. But, do those standards really mean anything in light of eternity? The lonely direction we should be looking for our standard is up. Our standard for life needs to be based on our destination, not our journey.
Creation does not need to be taught how to be creation. That is not true for humans. In order to become all Yah created you to be, you must engage in the process. You must seek out people who can help and shun people and things that will hinder. In the end, the choice to be or not to be is a personal choice.
The Creator established order in His creation. Humans are the only part of His creation that has been given a choice to walk in or reject that order. What happens when a society, a nation or even just a family reject His order? The answer is being played out on a daily basis.
