If life sucks and you keep turning to your phone, drugs, alcohol, porn, video games, or food just to distract yourself from your thoughts… you're not broken. You're not weak. You're experiencing a spiritual void—an energetic, metaphysical void that keeps you trapped in cycles of self-sabotage.

I know because I lived it.

I was addicted to everything—gambling, working out, money, popularity, sympathy-seeking, substances—you name it. I self-sabotaged every good thing in my life until I was facing a dead-end: homelessness, death, or prison.

But something changed.

👉 I stopped calling myself an addict.
👉 I studied neuroscience, physiology, and metaphysics to understand how addiction works.
👉 I made peace with God (but not in the way you think).
👉 I learned from Gabor Maté, Joe Dispense, Naval Ravikant, Neville Goddard, and the Universal Laws.
👉 I discovered the truth about energy and how everything—addiction, trauma, and healing—is connected.

This video is my journey from pain to purpose. It’s about how to break free from the mental programs keeping you stuck and align with the highest energy source (God, Source, Universal Truth—whatever you call it).

🚀 If you’re tired of feeling lost, stuck, or unworthy, this is for you. It’s time to become a Champion of Life instead of a victim.

(00:00):
if your life sucks, if you areturning to your phone, drugs,

(00:05):
alcohol, porn, video games, food, just to distract you from
your thoughts and the way youfeel.
It's a spiritual void.
It's a metaphysical, energeticvoid.
Trouble with substances, troublewith addictive behaviors, have

(00:27):
trouble with God.
I've self sabotaged every goodthing I've ever had in my life.
Something had to change or I wasgoing to be homeless, dead, or
back in prison.
So, my name is Tom Miller, and Istudy metaphysics.

(00:49):
Neuroscience, physiology, andbasically how life works.
So I can be a champion of lifeinstead of a victim.
In this video, I'm going to tellyou a little bit about my
journey through addiction, how Ifinally made peace with God and
what I learned from Gabor Maté.
So hold on tight with all yourmight cause I'll be rocking like

(01:11):
this, uh, for the rest of thenight on my mini mic.
The first thing that changed isI learned about neuroscience, I
learned about neuroplasticity, and I learned where addictive
traits come from.
So number one, if you're callingyourself an addict, stop.
If you're calling yourself analcoholic, stop.
They're traits.

(01:32):
They are personality traits, behavior traits, programs that
we have in our brain, andthey're not who we are.
You have addictive traits.
Fair enough.
And here's where they came from.
Thank you, Gabor Mate.
If you had a very fight orflight childhood, especially if
it started happening when youwere still in your mommy's

(01:53):
tummy, or it was toughchildhood, where you didn't get
a lot of eye contact, there's apart of your brain that's It
doesn't form all the way.
And so you will not have thesame response to social
situations, to humaninteractions.
You won't have the same kind ofdopamine release.
And so when you finally try anydopamine releasing drug or any

(02:18):
distracting behavior, whetherit's food, alcohol, cigarettes,
booze, drugs, gambling, porn,Phone, worry, it can go on and
on.
Turns out I've been addicted tosomething, had an addictive
trait my whole entire life.
It was working out, it wasgambling, that was my first one.

(02:43):
It was work, it was earningmoney, it was popularity, it was
sympathy seeking, peoplepleasing, whining like a little
baby until someone gave me a hugand said, Oh, poor guy, he had
such a tough life.
And here's the thing.
It's not the behavior, thedrinking, the drugging, the
porn, the gambling.

(03:04):
It's not the behavior that's thereal problem.
That's a symptom of the problem.
Naval Ravikant said this and I100 percent agree.
All addiction is a sign of aspiritual void.
That was true.
There's a hole in our heart andwe are not comfortable being by

(03:27):
ourselves.
So if you're always picking upyour phone, Like I just got back
from the gym, people areliterally doing a set working
out with their friend andthey're getting on the phone in
between sets instead of talkingto their friend or like, wow,
like people are just, It's thatwe don't want to be alone with
our own thoughts.
Our own thoughts are going.
We're like, we have this ogreish pain void, this pain energy

(03:56):
inside of us that we don't wantto deal with.
And some of us take it so farthat we use substances, alcohol,
drugs, and a lot of people, foodto distract ourselves.
So it became very clear to methat I had to make peace with
this higher power, and I have.

(04:18):
In fact, while in prison, readthe Bible, I Back to back.
Cover to cover.
One Reason was the only book Ihad for a while.
Another book called theBahá'u'lláh Giddah.
I'm looking to see if I have itright here and I somehow don't.
And I wish I did because I canshow it to you.
Really good.
Um, Taoism.
Judaism.
Just study them all.
Christianity, study them all.

(04:40):
Jesus, love him.
He's a spiritual superhero.
So is Buddha.
So is Lao Tzu.
So is the figures in theBaha'u'llah Gita.
So is Muhammad.
I mean, all of them are sayingthe same thing.
But you know where all of thesespiritual laws came from?
Something called the UniversalLaws.
I like to call them theUniversal Truths.

(05:02):
Breaking the law, breaking thelaw, yeah.
Universal Truths.
The Bible is derived fromUniversal Truths.
So the laws of metaphysics, howthe universe operates, Oh my
gosh, these are truths thatapply to everything, and it's
basically what the Bible isbased on.
It's what all the spiritualtexts are based on.
It's what Hinduism is based on.

(05:23):
And the lineage of religion, itall starts from these universal
laws.
And one that's really popularnow is the law of attraction.
Like attracts like.
But these universal laws createdscripture in the Bible.
In fact, if you go to mycourses, you'll see me break it
all down.

(05:44):
When I realized that there'sthese universal laws governing
the quantum mechanics of theuniverse, and they have been
forever, everything made sense.
And for me, God became G O D,get over defining it.
I love every religion becausethey're all right.
But here's the thing, None ofthem are wrong.
They're all correct, and theyall stem from these universal

(06:07):
laws.
Everything's energy.
God is an energy system.
God is pure love, light, andlife.
Energy.
And for me, God means G O D, getover defining it, because we
don't have to fully understandthat there's a source where all
energy comes from.
And there's a law of relativeenergy, the law of energy

(06:31):
transmutation or transformation, meaning energy can't be created
or destroyed, only transformedinto different forms.
It's amazing how everything madesense.
As long as we believe thatthere's a higher source of
energy, the highest source, andthat source of energy is pure

(06:51):
love, light, and life.
And it goes through, call ityour spirit or your soul, and it
comes into your body, and aslong as we can let that in, we
have access to this infiniteintelligence.
You don't have to beg it, youdon't have to plead with it, you
don't have to, it helps towrite.

(07:11):
And write your thoughts and makesure your desires are really
clear, but you don't have tobeg, plead, get on your knees.
You don't.
It doesn't work that way.
But you do have to align yourthinking, your intention, which
is your emotional state, yourdesires, and your actions with
what you want.

(07:32):
And by what you want, it's notas simple as saying, Hey, I want
this, or is it?
It's a matter of becoming thetype of person.
Who has that big one?
I want to be rich.
Okay.
What would an abundant, prosperous, wealthy person be
like?

(07:53):
They wouldn't be scared of nothaving money.
They wouldn't be stingy.
They wouldn't cheat, lie.
So you start embodying thesevalues, and you start aligning
with those emotions.
You start feeling as if thedesire is fulfilled.
Neville Goddard, very famousmetaphysicist from long ago.

(08:13):
Brilliant.
There's another guy named ThomasTrottle.
They were before, that was evenbefore, um, Napoleon Hill and
Dale Carnegie.
And then came Eckhart Tolle, andGary Zukav, and Tony Robbins,
and Joe Dispenza.
It's the same exact information.
All of it's the same.

(08:34):
It's from the universal laws.
The hermetic principles, alsofrom the universal laws.
When you understand thateverything is energy, including
the highest source of energy, which we'll call God, I like to
call the truth, because it'slike the ultimate truth of
universal truth, call it thesource, the vortex, the vortex.

(08:56):
The universe source energy forGod and see we'll just like to
call it Jesus.
It doesn't matter what you callit, but just to call it
something and talk about it andtell other people about it, but
not embody it and actually alignwith it.
It's useless.
So if your life sucks, if youare turning to your phone,

(09:17):
drugs, alcohol, porn, videogames, food, just to distract
you from your thoughts and theway you feel.
It's a spiritual void.
It's a metaphysical, energeticvoid.
Only energy.
It's just energy.
You are energy.
Everything is energy.

(09:38):
This flow that we get from thishighest power, it's energy.
It's non discriminatory.
It doesn't care what religion wecall ourselves.
If you asked me what my religionwas, by the way, I would say
love, light, and life.
I'm a life champion.
Champion for my life andchampion for the lives of
others.
But aligning with the ultimatetruth and that ultimate truth is

(10:01):
the source of all light.
It's always available and it'salways there.
Last thing, if you had a toughlife situation, like for me, my
friend Luke had all the videogames, always had food in his
refrigerator, two parents thatboth worked and gave him money
and snacks and love andcompliments.

(10:22):
And he has some chores, but hegot them done, had fun and
played.
And Nick got to his little gamesand soccer games and all kinds
of fun stuff.
My childhood, exact opposite.
I love going to Luke's house.
In fact, I'm pretty sure theygot sick of me and sent me home,
but I just wanted that to be mylife.

(10:43):
And for a while, it was reallyresentful.
Here's the deal.
We have a life force called asoul called the Holy spirit.
Call it your essence, call ityour presence.
It's the thing that makes yourfingers move the same things
that makes flowers bloom, butwith ours, we have this soul,

(11:05):
this essence, plus we have aphysical body.
Now we have this intellect andfree will where we can have
beliefs and choices.
My theory hypothesis is beforewe get into this physical body,
our soul, which needs to evolvestill, makes a deal for our life
situation.

(11:26):
We get into a life situation.
With limitations, withobstacles.
One, because we agreed to itbefore coming onto the earth.
Two, the harder your lifesituation is, especially if
you're one of those guys outthere like me, who didn't have a
dad, who doesn't know theirbiological dad, and had a

(11:48):
stepdad that was a complete, what's the word I'm looking for,
oh yeah, a hole.
Then, I mean he really was, hesexually abused people, beat my
mom in front of me, killedhimself in the car, I mean it's
just nuts how bad it was.
But that's why we're supposed toturn, to this higher source of
love and light to make up forwhat we're not getting from our

(12:12):
parents.
Those of us who have lifesituations that are lacking the
parental love, it's because ourrole is to turn more to this
higher source energy.
And to let it flow in without asmuch resistance.
So when I stopped resistingSource Energy, God, Love, Light,

(12:37):
and Life, and just let it flowinto me, everything started
changing.
Mostly my peace of mind, myclarity, what I was put on this
planet to do, what I feel greatdoing.
And I learned to let go of mypast mistakes because they were

(12:59):
just like corpses I was carryingaround.
I learned that everything'sconnected and everything's
energy.
You and I were connected, butour ego, our mental structures,
our energetic operating systems, they don't allow us to feel
connected yet, but we're wakingup more and more humans are
waking up and realizing, Hey,I'm more than my physical body,

(13:24):
but I don't really like thatreligion or that religion.
And that really, you don't haveto, you just have to believe
that there's an energy sourcehigher than the sun higher than
our physical bodies.
That connects and flows throughall things, that is
nonjudgmental, fills us with asmuch love as we can handle and
take, or choose to take.

(13:46):
And with that, we can create thelife experience that we desire.
In fact, that's what we'resupposed to do.
That's what our mission is.
To take this infiniteintelligence, universal wisdom,
universal source energy, bringit into physical form, and turn
it into something beautiful thatwe share with others.

(14:08):
More on this later, but to wrapit up.
You're not an addict.
You have addictive traits.
There is a God.
You don't have to call God.
Nor do you have to get on yourknees, nor do you have to
worship or you just have to loveand let love flow.
Because unless you are loving, love can't flow through you.

(14:31):
And trust that there is alwayslove available in the form of
energetic currents happening atquantum, beyond quantum level.
And you have a receiving centerfor it and that's how
manifestation works.
That's how magnetism works.
It's this energy.

(14:52):
Everything is energy.
God is energy.
So don't worry about God beingmad at you.
Not at all.
That's your ego.
That's your past, your mentalstructures.
Mine too.
And it took me 50 years tofinally come to terms with this
and just, Hey, it doesn't haveto be that complicated.
God, get over defining it.
Yes.

(15:12):
I had a shitty childhood, butguess what?
I've always had all the love.
That I was willing to receive, and now I can let it flow into
me, share with you, and I hopethat at least one, maybe five
people watch this and say, Hey,I'm open to that.

(15:33):
I'm gonna let some more lovesharing to me.
I'm gonna believe that there isa non judgmental source of love,
light, and life energy that Canhelp me because when we feel
that spiritual void, we don'tneed to reach for those
addictions.
We don't need to keep selfsabotaging.
We don't need to keep repeatingthe same mistakes.
We don't need to keep whiningand complaining about how bad

(15:56):
life is because we see adifferent perspective.
Our awareness wants to expand.
Our soul wants to expand.
That's one of the universallaws.
It's our ego, our brain, ourmental structures are getting in
the way, and I'm here to helpchange that.
Changing me.
And changing you because we'reall in this together.

(16:20):
We're all connected.
We're all energy.
All right.
I'm sending you love, light, andlife, and I love you.
It's inevitable.
We all have love for oneanother.
It's just, we also have egos andfears that stop that love from
flowing in the physical realm, but it's there.
All we have to do is remove theresistance.

(16:41):
All right.
Until next time, go forth, shareyour love, share your light.
And create something with thatbecause that's what we're put on
this planet to do create withlove share alleviate suffering
and Live as life champions.
I'll see you next time.

(17:02):
Oh, yeah, you know what to do ifyou like it I want this message
to get out to as many people aspossible So if you're not going
to make the videos at leastshare them with someone that
this could help, please
