Is your loyalty to one single political party making you disloyal to America? On this episode of "Life Unscripted with Kevin Shook," with special guest, Jason Falcone, we challenge the conventional wisdom of the two-party system. Join Kevin & Jason as they take a hard look at the recent historical events shaking our political landscape. Through the eyes of a generation deeply embedded in social media, we explore the impact of algorithms on political maturity and perception.

We also pull back the curtain on who really holds the reins in American politics. From corporate America to big pharma, we question the accountability and focus of our elected officials. Is it time for a new wave of leadership, perhaps someone resonating with the digital age like a modern-day JFK? Tune in for an unfiltered discussion that urges us to prioritize the person over the party and re-evaluate the efficacy of our current political system. This episode isn't just a commentary; it's a call to action for a more informed and active electorate.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Life Inscripted with Kevin Shook.
I have seen posts and heardpeople that never talk about
this kind of stuff and somepeople are afraid to because
obviously it's.
You know it's like afirecracker, no pun intended.
American, there it is.
There it is From Warm GlowCandle.
But people have talked aboutthis that never would and they

(00:22):
say, like I don't get involvedin politics or whatever, but I
watch this because obviously youknow this is important to watch
and they're like whoa.

Speaker 2 (00:31):
Of course we're going to like this motherfucker Maybe
.

Speaker 1 (00:41):
Go back up.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Yeah, why does everyone hold their breath?

Speaker 1 (00:44):
Or quit talking and explode.
Moment of silence go back up,yeah, why does everyone hold
their breath and explode?
Yeah, so, uh, last night, interesting, nonetheless,
historical, obviously, um, I am,uh, I think, like a lot of
people, just like wow what thefuck I mean some people are
gonna be like I knew this, likewhat's the?

Speaker 2 (01:01):
so okay for one, I don't care what someone is, if
they're Democrat, if they'reRepublican, if they're in the
middle.
You know we've had a lot ofpeople up here, candidates and
politicians that hold currentelected positions.
I really don't give a shit whatyou are, and so set that aside.

(01:22):
Let's go for the person that isalert and oriented.

Speaker 1 (01:26):
times four I, I mean I think everybody agrees with
that, but it's true it's true, there is a problem of being with
a two-party system and thisisn't a uh me sitting here
trying to say we need to havethis set, or whatever.
It literally is like if you'rebeing loyal to a team, then
you're being disloyal to americayou're, I mean basically, yeah,

(01:50):
I mean like if you're onlygoing to just sit there and
think that way, so and that'sboth sides.
You know, never voted for theparty, always vote for the
person.
And we've got an 18 year oldsame thing.
I'm not influencing her one wayor the other yeah, how was that
?

Speaker 2 (02:04):
because that?
Because you said you stayed athome and watched it with them.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Yeah, well, the 18-year-old and 16-year-old
watched it and you know they'rejust the same thing.
It was interesting to watch itfrom their eyes to see.
And they're like you know, dad,we see all this stuff on social
media.
That's one way or going on fora while through social media,

(02:28):
through their eyes, and now thealgorithm is switched, and it
switched a little bit beforethat.
So you know, I don't know ifthat's the start of something
that was.
You know there was a precursorto yesterday.
I mean, you can go all kinds ofdifferent ways with that I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (02:43):
And your daughters?
They were probably more maturethan I was because I was putting
Snapchat filters on.
Yeah, they were a lot moremature than I was at 18, for
sure but um, like, let's go,like, let's talk about first,
like alert and oriented, who'shealthy?
Yeah, mine's not healthy?

Speaker 1 (02:59):
no, and it's.
It was.
It was tough, I mean just tosee.
And then you're thinking okay, the biggest question is then
who's calling the shots andthat's not.
Again, that's not.
I stand on this.
All the shot.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
Well, I mean corporate America, big farm it's
ran a big different, yeah, bigdifferent way.

Speaker 1 (03:17):
Um but it's who's calling the shots.
Um, what the hell happened, youknow, when you had a week to
prepare for that?

Speaker 2 (03:27):
right for that right and you knew it was coming at
you.
It's almost like why was it setup that way?
They were arguing about theirfucking golf games.

Speaker 1 (03:34):
Well, that yeah, no one cares about that no one
that's sitting here.
We're electing these guys to dowell, I mean, that's the best
that we got to put out there.
I think everybody can agreewith that.
And that goes back to thiswhole thing.
Is this two-party system thatis like okay, well, you have to
go this way for this guy.
This is what you're getting outof it.
Where is the 41 year old jfklike figure who is active on

(03:56):
tiktok, active on x?
right that understands how touse an excel file you know where
he's at.

Speaker 2 (04:02):
He's a ceo of many of this company, or ceo of this
company or this company, becausebeing president is bullshit,
right yeah?

Speaker 1 (04:09):
which.
What does that say about thefuture?

Speaker 2 (04:11):
right Right.

Speaker 1 (04:12):
So I don't know.
I think, either way you'relooking at, regardless of how
this goes, 2028, you're going tohave two new candidates.
America's still going to behere, Mm-hmm.
So you'll have two newcandidates, two probably young
candidates.
A lot's going to happen in fouryears.

Speaker 2 (04:29):
I hope, because he couldn't put a sentence together
.
No, I thought I was dumb.
Well, so I did fail englishclass my senior year in high
school and I'm not you know, Imispronounce a lot of things and
all this shit.
But then I saw that last nightI could be the fucking president
I could like be.
I could be the president Icould.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
I'm might not be able to spell president, I mean,
everybody can get stage frightespecially, but there's nobody
in the audience but not thewhole damn time, but you've been
in front of a microphonetalking policy and doing these
things.
For what?
50 years or whatever?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
Yeah, you've made a career of this.

Speaker 1 (05:08):
But what was you know ?
I mean, they got to that point, they put them out there and the
.
But what was you know?
I mean they got to that point, they put them out there and the
product's out there.
So I mean, you see it Nowwhen's the next one September, I
don't know.

Speaker 2 (05:25):
but it needs to be pay-per-view, okay for one,
because after seeing that shitshow everyone's going to want to
watch, because it's moreentertaining than saturday night
live.

Speaker 1 (05:32):
Well, okay, saturday night live, all right now, how
bad are they gonna butcher?
Oh, they're gonna eat that, arethey?
Oh, I don't know.
I mean, because if it's theother way around, I think they
make it a whole weekend series, but I think I think that they
they do hit it, but I don't knowhow hard they hit it because it
was so bad on Biden's part.
I mean you've got a long timebetween now and September.

(05:54):
A lot of stuff can happenbehind the scenes.
There's a lot that it'll beinteresting to see, like how
much this story gets traction, you know, before there's another
distraction out there, causewe're going to throw 4,000
things at you All of a suddenthe COVID is back.

Speaker 2 (06:09):
But they need to make a pay-per-view and then take
those proceeds, put them backinto high school government and
economic class.
Okay, Because then in 2028, wemight have a couple good
candidates.
I think we will.

Speaker 1 (06:21):
I think we will, if we start educating again.
It's the.
