In this episode Paul and Leah talk with Zac McCarthy, a guy who "had it all" the multi million dollar businesses, the wife, the kids, the house, and then lost it all by over working and not being present. Zac shares with us his story of how working so hard "to support his family" caused him to lose everything. He was working so much with his long hours and work trips to bring home the money, that he lost sight of why he was bringing home the money in the first place. He was at work most of the time, and when he was home he wasn't present causing him not to see the crumble of his everything happening around him, until it was too late.
He shares with us the steps he took in the aftermath to find out who he truly is from the inside out and what is really important to him. He is now happily remarried and spends present time with his kids, and is working for a company Gravy who takes pride in their company culture and their employees' emotional well-being. Zac's story is tragic but his ability to overcome it and become a better version of himself is inspiring, we hope you enjoy it!
