In today's episode Leah and Paul talk with Brian Bonfiglio, a former Marine.  Bonfiglio has been working as contracted private security to support the Dept of State and Dept of Defense for the past 20 years.  In this time he has been involved in numerous attacks and shootings, and loss of friends due to battle.

In this episode Brian shares with us his stories of being shot at and bombed while protecting our country,  as well as how he has tried to manage it on a mental health stand point.  Brian is very open and honest with us in this episode and discusses the struggle of dealing with PTSD and re-adjusting to "normal life" while back at home with his family.  He shares with us his attempts to cope with the the trauma through alcohol.

We discuss with him the management of Life Work Balance and how his passion for his work has caused a sacrifice in his family.  His story is far too common amongst many Military families, and we feel that his story may help others in similar situations.
We hold our military at the highest regards and our hope is that through this story and others like it that there may be a way for our men and women of the military and their families to be able to find some balance of Life and Work.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist

It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
