Years ago I read a book that changed my LIFE. @drcarolineleaf wrote a book called SWITCH ON YOUR BRAIN where she teaches you literally how to rewire your thought patterns to serve you! To think positively instead of sabotaging your wellbeing.
Have you ever thought "I'm a bad mom for not spending enough time with my kids today." Through reading this book, I learned how to rewire my brain so that I don't even think that thought anymore.
Every time I would think that thought I would tell myself - "I'm a great mom. I served my family today through taking care of our house, and making meals. I did the best I could even though I had so much to get done today."
Here's another one - "I'm so anxious to be home alone with my kids, what if something happens to me?"
Try this instead: "God gave me my kids because he trusts me with them. I am never alone. There is a community of people that will be here in moments if I needed help. I am more than qualified and I'm actually excited to spend this time with my kids!"
Learning this information literally CHANGED MY LIFE and I bet it will change yours too!
