In this solo episode, I open up about one of the hardest lessons I’ve had to learn — obedience when it hurts. 💔
God will often ask us to walk away from people, places, and habits that no longer align with our purpose. But what happens when your heart still loves what your spirit has outgrown?
In this episode, I share my personal journey of battling disobedience — how I ignored God’s instructions because I wanted to see the good in people, made excuses for behavior I knew was wrong, and ran myself dry trying to save people God told me to separate from.
Through tears, conviction, and growth, I’ve learned that:✨ Obedience can break you before it blesses you.✨ Discernment is protection, not punishment.✨ Separation isn’t rejection — it’s redirection.
We’ll also talk about the hurricane in Jamaica and how you can help. My family and I are collecting essential items — food, clothing, toiletries, and sanitary products — to send back home. If you’d like to donate or partner with us, send me an email or DM on Instagram/Facebook. 💚🇯🇲
Stay till the end for a prayer and scriptural affirmations that will help you find peace in your own season of obedience and letting go.

Medal of Honor: Stories of Courage
Rewarded for bravery that goes above and beyond the call of duty, the Medal of Honor is the United States’ top military decoration. The stories we tell are about the heroes who have distinguished themselves by acts of heroism and courage that have saved lives. From Judith Resnik, the second woman in space, to Daniel Daly, one of only 19 people to have received the Medal of Honor twice, these are stories about those who have done the improbable and unexpected, who have sacrificed something in the name of something much bigger than themselves. Every Wednesday on Medal of Honor, uncover what their experiences tell us about the nature of sacrifice, why people put their lives in danger for others, and what happens after you’ve become a hero. Special thanks to series creator Dan McGinn, to the Congressional Medal of Honor Society and Adam Plumpton. Medal of Honor begins on May 28.
