In this weeks continuation of The UnSung Hero's Of The Bible we discussed Josiah. We spoke on things such as Tradition, Influence, faithfulness, forgiveness and ones own faith and meaning of God. Another great point we touched on was promise. 1 John 1:9 states "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." God was faithful unto Josiah even unto death. 2Kings 22:20 states "Behold therefore, I will gather thee unto thy fathers, and thou shalt be gathered into thy grave in peace; and thine eyes shall not see all the evil which I will bring upon this place. And they brought the king word again." Because Josiah was faithful to God, God kept his promise to Josiah by shielding him from the evil that was promised unto the land. Josiah's heart was tender to the words of God at only the tender age of 8 Josiah was devoted to serve the one and only true living God.
