This time of year always stirs something up - fresh starts, new energy, and sometimes…overwhelm. After the holidays, I found myself needing a full reset - not just in my space, but in my body and mind too.
In this episode, I’m sharing what it’s looked like for me to navigate this season of recalibration. I’ve never fully resonated with the pressure to make massive changes in January (spring always feels more like the true beginning), but something about this moment invited me to slow down and listen in. I talk about how the chaos around me has activated old nervous system responses - especially the freeze response - and how learning about the nervous system is becoming a major focus in my healing this year.
I also open up about a big realization: I don’t have to say something that resonates with everyone. My job is to speak honestly and trust it lands where it needs to. That shift alone has helped me reground.
