As listeners, you might not realize it, but I will jump at a chance to discuss backcountry hunting at a moments notice. Especially when it is with another party who is as passionate about the endeavor as I am.
With that said, Episode 25 host's a buddy of mine currently out of Virgnia Beach, Virginia, who experienced his first backcountry hunt this past September (circa 2024). Not a stranger to challenge or discomfort, Colby jumped at the opportunity for his first extended trip into the wilds of Wyoming, and Mother Nature set her hooks in him.
We chat about how we met, fall down a Total Archery Challenge rabbit hole, ramble on about some mutual friendships, weave in and out of his Wyoming adventure and deeply discuss the realm of hard things while being "alone".
