It is turkey season, and one of my favorite times of the year. Turkey hunting, more specifically backcountry turkey hunting, is rapidly rising to the top of list of my favorite things to do.
In this Waypoint, I wanted to share a fond memory and the reasoning behind the title, "Code Word: "Sesame Street".
In celebration of the topic, I decided to share a few pages from my recently published book, Back - Country Hunting: Pursuing the Trophy of the "Experience". Listen in (the video version is a fowl setting to observe) as I read from one of the final chapters of the book, "Backcountry Ben Franklin Bombers". The final pages of the chapter reveal the meaning and purpose of the code word: Sesame Street.
