Marika Messager is making waves in the realm of conscious leadership. She has a 15-year history in the financial industry and was recognized as one of the industry’s most successful equity sales professionals, making it to 7-figure annual compensation at the age of 31.
Later, she was appointed as one of the youngest female equity sales managers, supervising a team of 40 people across Europe and the Middle East. Her success in this high-flying male dominated world made her realize something essential was missing from her own career and the corporate world.
Marika’s path towards conscious leadership started 20+ years ago. She studied psychology, neuroscience, bioenergy and wellbeing and trained in integral coaching, yoga, mindfulness, and clinical hypnotherapy. This process inspired her to build a system of development that would transcend the leadership status quo.
Marika is a non-executive director and a keynote speaker on conscious leadership, emotional and intuitive intelligence, diversity, equity and inclusion. She supports various charities globally and sits on the Board of an NGO in Kenya, where she regularly organizes retreats that combine the awakening of consciousness and positive impact on society and the environment.

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three).
