Vernae (00:00):
Hello my beautiful souls
and welcome back to a very
special episode of ListeningEars podcast.
I am your host, Vernae, andtoday is an especially
meaningful episode because thisweek marks the three-year
anniversary of our ListeningEars community.
(00:22):
Thank you deeply for walkingthis path with me, for sharing
your journeys, your reflectionsand, most of all, your hearts.
Today's episode is inspired bysomething deeply personal and
universally powerful the liminalspace power.
(00:54):
The liminal space that is thespace that is messy.
It's the in-between where lifehappens most vividly.
It's about creating even wheneverything feels uncertain and
unfinished.
So let's dive into this honestand heartfelt conversation.
Let's start by naming what theliminal space is.
(01:16):
It's uncertainty, it's therawness between heartbreak and
healing, the pause betweenleaving a job and starting anew.
It's the place between whoyou've been and who you're
(01:42):
becoming.
Oftentimes we think we needclarity or healing or even
completion to begin somethingmeaningful, but the truth is,
life's richest moments oftenhappen right here, in the
messiness of the middle.
Creating in this in-betweenisn't neat or predictable.
(02:07):
It's messy, but it's alsodeeply authentic and magnetic.
When you speak from this space, you speak with honesty and
courage.
You're saying to the world and, most importantly, yourself,
that your voice doesn't needperfect conditions to be
(02:27):
valuable.
Maybe you're journaling throughuncertainty, painting through
grief, or even building abusiness when clarity feels
distant.
Your voice, your art, yourcontribution it still matters.
Your voice, your art, yourcontribution it still matters,
(02:50):
perhaps more now than ever, because it's actually rooted in
authenticity.
Remember, you don't have tohave all the answers to share
your wisdom, your story, whatyou have to say is worthy
exactly as it is right now, inthis very moment.
(03:16):
How do you practically createfrom this space of uncertainty?
Let's explore some gentle stepstogether.
First, give yourself permissionto be imperfect.
It's your journey that mattersmore than perfection.
Next, document your journey.
Share openly about your process, your learnings, your emotions.
Authenticity creates connectionand vulnerability breeds
(03:39):
community.
I think I received the mostdownloads that I've ever
received when I sharedauthentically about my breakdown
that I had a few years ago, andI remember just how vulnerable
it was for me just to put myselfout there with my story.
(03:59):
But I also remembered howbeautiful it was to be able to
connect with people who eitherexperienced the same thing or
understood where I was goingthrough.
Finally, honor your pace.
Recognize that productivitylooks different everywhere you
(04:25):
go.
Celebrate small, courageoussteps rather than large finished
outcomes.
Creating isn't about doing achecklist.
It's more about expressing yourtruth.
As we mark three years ofListening Ears podcast, let's
pause together and honor thisbeautiful liminal space, this
(04:46):
space of becoming.
If you're tired, healing, transitioning or feeling
uncertain, yet you're stillbravely showing up each and
every day.
I see you and I honor you.
Today, I encourage you to keepspeaking from the heart of the
(05:08):
in-between.
Your story, exactly as it is,matters deeply.
Share your journey the messy, the beautiful, the unfinished
self that you are and watch howyour honesty inspires and sparks
others.
If this episode resonated withyou, share it with someone else
(05:35):
who might need this gentleencouragement, and I'd love to
hear your story.
Share with me how you'recreating your in-between season.
It helps others like you growand find our beautiful community
.
Thank you, my friends, forthree incredible years.
Here's to the in-between,here's to authenticity and
(06:02):
here's to many more yearstogether, growing and listening.
Until next time, keep creatingfrom exactly where you are.
