(00:00):
We've got an amazing one for youtoday.
This is our last ever episode under the Little Fish brand.
Four years, Four Seasons and 170plus extraordinary stories.
We're not going anywhere and this is just the beginning.
I'm pumped, Benny. Oh man, I'm shitting this out.
(00:20):
There's a bit to unpack, Benny, but super excited.
No, I am, I am. I am actually shitting myself
but I'm also excited. Man, that's why you need to
like, share, subscribe, because this guy is going to make it
happen and make this thing bigger than it is.
But Benny? Yeah.
Man, I'll just get down to a biton why the change.
Yep, why the change? So obviously an amazing four
(00:40):
years, spoke to amazing amount of guests.
We've learned a lot, but there'sonly enough hours in a week and
sometimes you got to pick a path.
Sometimes it gets to a point where you need to dial things
in. Can't do everything, man.
Can't do everything, we can't beeverything to everyone at all
times. So, so it's been an amazing
(01:00):
ride, but my passion's property and we've built an amazing
business in property and which has.
Allowed us to do this right. Like I think we've we've sung it
from the rooftop since we started.
We've never taken a sponsor and the way that the reason that
we've been able to do that is the property business that we
built allowed us to just do this, which was, you know, we,
we did for different reasons. I think for a long time we
(01:23):
didn't even know why we were doing it.
Nah, but we figured it out. We did it because we loved it.
We got into the room with some awesome people.
We're learning, you know, we're building our business and we're
sitting in the room with super successful business people early
on that we're just taking those lessons straight downstairs.
Yeah, 100%. So amazing times.
And like you said, we we knew content, we knew video content,
(01:45):
all those sorts of things were athing.
So we just went in, you know, hell for leather and, and
straight into it, which was awesome and build a great
channel, a great following, amazing stuff.
But definitely, I guess over that journey, you know, it's
definitely been your, your, yourbaby and, and that started to
show through and obviously on the property guy.
(02:06):
So over time we've sort of we'vebeen overlapping each other, but
on both fronts, on more into theproperty and, and you're, you're
going to relinquish some of the shackles to me in that space.
And then same same on this front. 100%, man, because the
property has been both of us obviously from the start, man.
But like, that's your passion. And what became sort of what we
(02:27):
started to realize was that you were becoming harder to book
than the guest, which which was true, right?
Because my job was, you know, we've had guest bookers over the
journey, but towards the end there, it was really me sort of
just picking out who we want to talk to and I was just having to
carry the load because you're a busy guy, man, like you, you
really are like the property businesses going great.
(02:47):
And you've got your YouTube channel, which is, you know,
which is, yeah, that's what that's, that's what we do.
It's exactly what we do. So.
And that's been on a crazy ride as well, but we know that can go
to the next level as well. It's been an amazing journey,
but you got to focus and and because this stuff's time
consuming. Man 100% and and for me PK and
(03:07):
for people that know me or anyone that's even maybe
following along, it was my idea.I've always sort of pushed you
up the front and sort of sat in the background a bit and you
know I will get into some of that those reasons why I guess
is I start to take the reins a bit more, but a.
Bit more, yeah. Wow, yeah.
Well, yeah, because I mean, it'staken me four years, PK, to be
(03:29):
able to look in the mirror and go, you know, maybe I could do
this or, you know, put myself out there in that kind of way.
So, yeah, look, it's I won't share today, but you know, I do
have a pretty wild story and anyone that can read between the
lines over as I've sort of loosened up a little bit and
more recent times, anyone that can read between the lines
(03:52):
probably, you know, figured thatand made that kind of
assumption. But, you know, I think because
of shame and, you know, just there's other reasons that I'll
get into that. I've always kept my story
protected. And I started to realize, man, I
think that was the young martyr episode when that was an episode
which is exactly which which explains what went on.
(04:14):
Like you were busy, dude. And we'd booked it.
We would, we had booked it and we, we couldn't, you know, we
almost let him down, right? Because the host of the shows.
Where's the host? Kicked it off and then bound.
Yeah, and that's what we had to do.
We we, we basically said, all right, man, you just introduced
the show. And then that was the first time
that basically it was just me and did the whole show with
Young Martyr and talking to my wife Joe and, and it was a buzz.
(04:37):
I loved that episode. And the reason I loved that
episode wasn't just because whatwe spoke about and because he
was such a, you know, such an incredible guest with such a
powerful story. But he discovered us in Season
1, and he reached out to say, really love what you're doing
and it's helping me and whatever.
And this is before he had really, really blown up.
(04:58):
So it made me, it sort of turnedthe light bulb on to go far,
like, because he's not the only one that's reached out.
But he's. Yeah, he's the only one that's
reached out that's ended up becoming a guest, one of my
favorite guests. And it's really, really on a
world stage doing what he's doing, right?
He's he's doing it, man. And that made me, I guess.
And then also he shared his story, which is wild band, you
(05:20):
know what I mean? Like, it's a wild story.
And I was like, well, I could relate.
And the reason I can relate to all of these people and have
these deeper conversations is because, yeah, like I actually
come from a broken home and, and, and a wild background,
which we are going to get into as we move through PK.
But I guess that's it just became obvious, right?
(05:41):
We couldn't get you in the room.Or I started to think maybe I
should stay at share my story. Maybe, maybe, you know, I'm not
ashamed of it and I can find a way to grow some nuts man and,
and, and help people because ultimately, PK, we peel this
onion back and we turn around and we say, I don't know, I said
it in the intro. We don't, we didn't really know
what we're doing or why we were doing it.
(06:03):
I did, I fucking did. It was my idea, but I wouldn't
fucking tell anyone why, becauseI keep it.
It's even you. You're right.
But the reality was I always like helping people, man, and
and I've been through it so I can, I know I can help people.
I shouldn't be here. And I am.
And that's why I was. I wanted to do it from the
(06:24):
beginning, but I hid behind you, man.
I said pick out. You're the host.
I'm going to say, you know what I mean?
And you're such a fucking legend.
You know, just like, yeah, we'redoing it.
All right? We're doing it.
And we just did it. And then it did morph and and we
did fall in love with it and it went the directions that it's
gone. But man, I'm ready to man up PK.
And I'm. I'm at Christmas for people
following along. We're in Thailand.
(06:46):
Most would know I had the fight, which was one of the craziest
things I did and that that showed that you could do
anything. Like I didn't do that fight
because I thought I was a tough guy and I could punch on.
Did it because I didn't think I could and I did.
And you guys came over and supported.
We did the live stream, all thatkind of stuff.
And we spoke about the podcast because Pawnee puts a lot of
work into this man and, and it pulls him away from the property
stuff. And the property stuff is what
(07:07):
pays the bills, right? So we were, we were there like
we realized that you, you were no longer, we were like, man,
this does not make any sense anymore.
We need to be, you need to be focused on the property and
that's, well, that's your passion, right?
That's what you wanted to do. And in my mind, I was like,
well, that's, that's fucking over.
I ain't doing that shit, you know what I mean?
And then I said that I said, I ain't doing it, man.
(07:27):
It's not me. I can't do it.
And it was really, it is me. I just didn't have the courage,
man, and and wasn't at that point prepared to, you know,
just didn't think I could ever share my history and my past
because I'm ashamed of it, man. That's the God's honest truth.
It's shameful, you know what I mean?
But now I've realized from, you know, from I guess other
(07:48):
podcasts and social media guys and people that have put stuff
out there because I'm not big onthe socials and stuff.
That's why I like I you know, I only just turned my Instagram
after the fight public right? But I don't.
What a shame you could have blown up.
In the fight, but because it's never really been me, right?
So it wasn't authentic. But look, Long story short, man,
on that rooftop, I remember you said to me, man, because the pod
(08:10):
was never, it's never been in a better place, right?
We worked so hard and for so long.
We, you know, for early stages, we did it for low views, low
numbers, but we just believed inthat.
We kept going. And all of a sudden we've got it
blowing up and it's going and we're going.
We're not doing it anymore. You know, And you said to me,
you probably don't remember, butyou just said, and you didn't
put pressure on me, but I realized it was my idea.
(08:31):
No illusions, right? Like I said before, I knew that
underlying reasons why. And I kind of walked you into
it. And we've spent hundreds and
hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars on this
thing. And we've never taken a set.
Right. And I and you said to me, you
said it'd be a shame to stop it,Benny.
And that was your way in my mindof saying, dude, like, what can
we do? What can we do?
(08:52):
And we're it out. Yeah.
And, and there was, there's onlyone way, the one thing we could
do that was like, oh, I needed to figure out if I could, if I
could own it, stand on my stuff.Because the other thing was
like, I knew that I couldn't do it unless I was prepared to
start opening up. I can't sit here and invite
people in to tell their stories and connect with them and, and
understand and, but, but really consciously trying to keep the,
(09:16):
the truth buried. Does that make sense?
So I had to, I had to come to terms with that man.
And, and then, yeah, from there, man, I just started to think
maybe I could do it, you know, and spoke to the wife.
And even when I said it to Joe, like, because I'm, I'm so
conditioned and she's so conditioned to keep in secret,
so you know what I mean? And not letting the cat out of
the bag when I mentioned it, shewas like, she her action wasn't
(09:39):
like, yeah, that's a good idea, you know what I mean?
It was like, what the fuck, You know what I mean?
And I tried to explain and over time and, but here we are, man,
here we are. And look, I've banged, banged on
a bit PK. And the best way, you know, the
pod, the, the, the pod, the coreof the pod is going to stay the
same, man. Love sharing extraordinary
(09:59):
stories, You know what I mean? The core of that, but it's
definitely going to be anchored into like, you know, mental
health and redemption arcs and and fighting.
I love fighting because fighting, whether you're in a
ring, you're, you know, whether you're whether you're in in a
cage or just in life. That's why I love fighting and I
think that's why you see this stuff out there about, you know,
(10:21):
the these you know what is hood contenders is a great 1.
You know where that and there was in recent times, there was
one minute round, one minute wars or whatever.
And that's all about mental health.
And I connect and understand with that why those go, why the
fighting helps those guys stay straight because it's it's
changed my life and it's doing the same thing for me.
So man, what I thought today wasto try and explain because as
(10:45):
you can see I fucking, you know, talk underwater PK, you know
what I mean and ramble. Have a podcast?
And ramble on and go around in corners.
But what I did to try and figureout if I was going to do this
thing, I wanted to try and understand if I knew what this
thing would be. And to do that was to write the
show description right? So sat down and spent a lot of
time going back and forwards on the show description and I
(11:06):
thought the best way to maybe explain the next direction is if
I read the show direct the show description PK But I'll fuck
that up dude. So would you do the honours to
and you'll give you Yeah, because you've never read it,
but I've. Never read it, but yeah,
definitely, it's probably definitely something that
probably over the years that as people go, what's the pot about?
It's go, it's just a pot. It's a pot and we talk to
(11:28):
people, you know, and it's probably been hard.
So I'm intrigued to dive into this because I feel like the
direction we're going, you're going is, is going to be 1 of
pure art and find its nation, find its place.
Or it's going to be authentic because to your point, the
reason we've never been able to nail the the description is
because it's never been authentic, right.
(11:48):
We've always been trying to figure out what it is.
Yeah and we've been trying to run on the run man and you know
started our business and sports guys and then we're you know
people that have following closeenough and it was extraordinary
stories. The the reason is because the
will hide in the authenticity. Yeah.
The reason we're doing it is because I want to help people.
Yeah, that's it. Because I've got a fucking crazy
(12:09):
story. And when I was younger, always
led to believe that I was never going to be any good or never,
you know, make anything of myself.
I literally had a teacher say tome, dude, you're a fuck up.
And and when you're back in thenthere was no Internet You there
was no one to look up to. You just lived in your bubble,
right? There was no thing, Owen, man,
that's sat with me for fucking decades, dude, you know what I
mean? And and and and, you know, years
(12:31):
and years of destruction on the back of it, you know.
So for me, it's like young martyr telling his story or us
early on helping him, but him telling his story and
understanding how many people that helps has made me even more
go, let's go, man. It's crystal clear now.
It's always deep down being crystal clear to me, you know,
(12:52):
around the edges. But I've kept it a secret.
I've never told you that have I4fucking years.
The reason we're doing it, PK, is because I want to help
people, man. Like I never told you that,
dude. I'd just, I'd skirt around the
corners and yeah, it'd be cool. Cool experiences.
You know, we learned some stuff, like everything but the truth.
So here to fucking maybe start telling the truth.
(13:13):
Let's have a look. Benny, what do we got here?
This is a podcast for the underdogs, for the misfits, for
anyone told they weren't good enough or would never amount to
anything. It's for those at war with their
own mind, for those carrying shame from their past, exhausted
by life or being dealt a shit hand, and they still want to
win. It's for anyone chasing the fire
(13:35):
to keep going, even when there'snothing left in the tank.
These stories aren't just about money or status.
They're about real wins. Getting back up when you've been
knocked down, taking risks and believing in yourself when no
one else does. I spent over 30 years drowning
in shame and self destruction. I'm 46 now and I'll finally own
my own shit. If I can do it well, so can
(13:58):
fucking you. Extraordinary stories start with
extraordinary actions. Whether in a ring, in a cage, or
in life, the only way forward isto stay in the fight.
New episodes every week. That's the plan.
That's it man. So that took me a long time to
write PK, because, you know, I had to stand on my stuff.
(14:19):
And just to correct you there, ordinary stories start with
ordinary actions, not extraordinary actions because it
really does just a just a littlebit of self belief or, or, or
just making a simple choice in your head to to go a different
direction. But yeah, man, that was hard to
write. It's hard to rock up today, PK,
because, you know, I'm still doubting myself and still
(14:40):
wondering, am I actually going to do this because my kids are
going to hear it Because, man, I've protected my kids from my
story, man, they don't, you know, I've spoken to my oldest
daughter Brixton. Now she's heard some of it.
But look, they're going to startto hear more about dad from
these stories. Look, I'm not planning on doing
a podcast where I go, hey, I didthis, this and that.
Like that's not what I'm talking.
But I'm definitely, you know, when the timing's right and when
(15:02):
the conversation leads us there,I'm going to share my stories
and my experiences to help people.
That's that's the goal, man. So.
Yeah, and that's also man, that's how, that's how you are
going to help people. Is, is, is by saying you can,
you can like you've created an amazing business.
We've done some awesome stuff, man.
So it's going to be, you know, to, so it's going to be bloody
(15:22):
inspirational, man, to hear where you've come from to where
you are now. And people that are in a bit of
a tricky spot, it's going to give them belief.
And you know a big, big part of it to you, PK.
And you know, this even before we started the businesses, we we
used to work together and you were a pretty popular guy, you
know what I mean? Like the boys get around PK pub
dude, I was different, man. I was like bit, you know, bit
(15:45):
broken and bit chip on the shoulder sort of thing.
And I definitely would get judged a lot, you know what I
mean? But you can't, you know, we just
can't come from complete different words.
And you're one of the few peoplethat no matter how rough around
the edges I was, you just saw mewho for who I was.
You never judged the book by thecover.
And here we are all these years later, man, like I wouldn't have
(16:06):
what I've got and, and be where I'm at if if you hadn't backed
me. Do you know what I mean?
Because it says it in the intro, man.
No one else fucking believed in me.
Do you know what I mean? Like I, you know, you get pretty
self aware as you as you go through life and you know, you
wonder why he got an opportunityand you put your hand up for the
opportunity, but they just, theydidn't even fucking acknowledge
(16:26):
the hand, if that kind of makes sense.
So. Well man, I've backed you.
Now it's time for you to back yourself.
Yeah. With this pod, you can do it,
man. You're going to do it.
Yeah, I'm going to do it, man. I'm awesome.
I actually feel like this is, you know, what I what, what I'm
meant to be doing, right. And, and that's why we started
these things four years ago that, you know, eventually we
get to a point in the property business where I'm less
(16:48):
important in that and then, you know, you get to do your
passion. It's just worked out
beautifully, right 100? Percent.
So we've kept both both ships moving, but now got to got to
prioritize. Yeah, yeah, and and I've got,
I've met some, you know, new group of friends and over the,
you know, you know, over the, you know, recent years that have
again, you know, haven't judged me and I've started to believe
(17:10):
in myself, I guess and go, oh, maybe I'm not, you know, the,
the the fuck up. And, you know, maybe I can make
amends from my past, which you can, right?
You can like, you know, you can do bad stuff and you can turn it
around. And we've seen that in plenty of
the people we've sat down with where, you know, they've had
shameful pasts or whatever, but they're out there trying to make
amends, man. And that and now it's my turn,
(17:31):
dude, so. Yeah, I love it, man.
So we reflect a little bit on the last few years on the pod.
How it's been a blessing, man. Man, it's been amazing.
The people we've spoken to, the travelling, we've done this the,
the business, you know, when we're in our little business
phase, you know what I mean? The CEO, the big exits and the
CEOs and all. Billionaires, dude.
(17:52):
The billionaires, man. So like all that stuff can't be
underestimated. You know, the lessons that we
get to learn and then get to implement into our lives and and
appreciate that these billionaires that have had crazy
exits, they're just people that have that have grinded their way
through. And that's where we're.
Going and some have had stories not too dissimilar to mine and
other people yeah. And you know, maybe we, some of
(18:13):
them, we unpacked some of them. They, you know, we just spoke
the business stuff, but got to learn more about and maybe
before or after the pod and understand that, you know, it
wasn't daddy's money or it wasn't, you know, an easy Rd.
for for them either. So, yeah, yeah, it's, it's been,
it's been the greatest, Oh, I love our property stuff and I'm
so proud of it, man. But the favorite might, if I
(18:34):
look back over the experiences and try and pinpoint the things
that I've loved about what you and I've done together, man.
And it's those little things, travelling with Brucey, going on
the runs, because I've all, I'vebeen fighting my demons, man,
you know, and hanging out with you guys on the road and you
guys tucking me under the wing. And that's what we do, right?
We go, you guys are out fucking winning life, man, You know what
I mean? And I got to tag along and, you
(18:57):
know, we've been overseas and yeah, it's just that they're
being the parts that I've loved the most for sure, man, when I
look at our experience, and that's been on the back of this
pod and that's why we kept showing up and kept doing it,
but like. So we got any destinations.
We'll leave that. That was the first we have,
yeah. We've got Bali coming up, man.
Like we've got gonna shoot a couple of episodes over there.
But that's the other thing. On my own, I can be nimble,
(19:20):
dude. I can go anywhere.
Well. If you go on somewhere cool,
don't don't forget you. Know I remember.
The old host, well, I. And that's man, of course, dude,
like it's no fun on your own, isit, man?
And I remember when we first started realizing this might be
the direction you were like, wow, you know, I'm carrying your
fucking bags, bro. They.
Fight all around the world and there's extraordinary stories
(19:42):
right around the world. So that's what I wanted.
To do. That's going to be a cool ride
for anyone that's looking to subscribe about now.
I'd be smashing that button because there's going to be some
awesome stories and some awesomejourneys.
Yeah, man, should we do some housekeeping?
So because it's not going to, it's not going to stay the same.
Like it wouldn't feel right being the Little Fish podcast
because the little fish is me and Pete, man, like, and our
(20:04):
team and our family and everyonethat's been part of it.
But ultimately, you know, LittleFish, you know, some of the
things that I'm going to drop and say aren't going to really
reflect or tie back to, you know, what we're doing in a
professional property business and whatever.
So it makes sense to make them clear cut, which has always been
that blurred line of like littlefish is a property.
Business what what's this other little fish thing so that's
(20:26):
always been a bit of a challengefor us as well.
This is yeah, this isn't moving forward it's going to you know
never lose its roots PK but I guess the first bit of
housekeeping is it's going to it's going to be the Benny drone
podcast. You know it's just going to be
me man. It's going to be Benny drone,
which I can't believe I'm fucking saying that dude put my
name out there like that, like because I've hidden it for so
(20:48):
long, man, and it's the completeopposite of how I've trained my
brain and body and even my friends and family, right.
So that's I guess the first thing.
But YouTube will will go throughthe platforms.
So YouTube, you know, none of the episodes are ever they're
going to go anywhere because they're Evergreen and they're
growing and they're always people are consuming and they're
(21:09):
they're awesome. So, so definitely the episodes
aren't going to go anywhere, butthe, the what's going to happen
is so on YouTube, there'll be a legacy playlist, it'll be the
little fish podcast legacy. And then I'll start a new
playlist, Benny Drowen and startuploading there.
And it's good that YouTube, you can do that with Spotify, Apple
and the podcast platforms. They don't have playlists and
(21:30):
stuff. So ultimately it'll just be a
channel name change and rebrand and reposition.
The old episodes will just live on and mine will just start
start stacking on top with the new brand.
It's. Amazing man.
I'm excited. I guess quick shout out to
everybody that's followed and played a lot long and rocked up
to our studio and. 100th episode.
Yeah, upstairs was full. Man episode.
(21:53):
So anyone that you have followedalong and and and done all that,
it's been an amazing ride. So we appreciate all you guys
and yeah, if you're looking for some property stuff, hit me up
on the property channels. Well, that's it Peter, Peter
Kelly property and that's no joke, right?
We're we're because since we've decided to do this, we really
have like in your flock, like you said, you're you're taking
the shackles, man. You've got a new, we've got a
(22:14):
new set and, and taking that Channel in China.
Where we're definitely leveling up there, which is, which is
good. Yeah, so if you want to make
money in property or if you're just interested in following
along or if you like to hear Pete, you know, follow Pete that
that's your 100% Peter Kelly Property Everywhere man is where
you'll find him on Instagram. All the you know YouTube is the
is the is the main home for sure.
(22:35):
Yeah, for sure. We've just turned on the
Instagram, so if you want to get.
Across there, we'll see. What's going on?
But yeah, the YouTube, yeah, YouTube.
Definitely because you were the same as well.
So you know, we never really appreciated or it wasn't even
that we appreciate, we just didn't want to be social guys.
We were a little bit older, so we didn't think that was part of
it. We're.
Probably just a little bit touchold for that.
Yeah, but but we understand now that it's important to to be
(22:56):
authentic and show a little bit so people give people something
to, to you into, but more importantly, understand context
that gives the context to why we're talking to people, why
we're talking about it or why you're passionate about this or
that. So 100% people all I have to
say, man, like I, I owe it's going to make me an emotional.
(23:16):
I haven't been emotional once onthis podcast.
But honestly, dude, like this isa gift, right?
A gift that you you're giving me, man, that you're, you know
that like this doesn't happen for many, many reasons.
You don't back me back in the day when I had a crazy idea of
Hey, we should do this or do that.
And you're like, I'm in broke, you know what I mean?
And a bit more to like this podcast, Dude.
(23:39):
We could have maybe sometimes should have stopped it a long
time ago, but we just kept showing up and we kept doing it.
And now you're just gracefully You're the one telling me you
know your company like you know now we've made me believe.
We've learned a lot and I've learned a lot through you guys
and and we've learned a lot through the exterior because
we're listening and it's and it's and the times, right?
And and the authenticity piece is that that's the West in the
(24:03):
whole. Thing on both channels.
On both channels and, and I remember where I was, I was up
in up in Kingscliff walking on the beach talking to you and it
was just like, I reckon 3 weeks ago Jim was like, I don't know,
we might have done an episode with a porn king or something.
And Jem was like what's, what are we doing?
What are you doing there? So you know you're trying to be
this guy and you're trying to bethat guy.
(24:23):
So we can definitely focus and put more energy and be better
and. You know, and just be passionate
about what we do, yeah. That's and that's what's going
to that's what's going to show out and and I'm excited for this
channel, Benny, like you're going to speak to some crazy
people and share some extraordinary stories.
I think properly extraordinary. Now that's where we're going.
Yeah, yeah. I mean, it's men's mental
(24:45):
health, man. Like, like I said, I said, dude,
well, it says it like I've kept it so dark, dude.
Like, you know, it's for those that are fighting in their brain
every day because I am, man, youknow what I mean?
That's it's not some, it's not curable, man.
It's only man manageable and youmanage it by learning and seeing
other people and, and whatever, finding coping mechanisms and
stuff like that. And that's the stuff I want to
get into. But also like, I love fighting,
(25:08):
man, because fighting is life. And you know, so I want to talk
to, you know, fighters because for a lot of fighters and fight
stories, they, they are, they'renot just fighting.
They're not, they're not man. And I want to, I want to peel
back those onions, man, and and talk to those guys.
But redemption arcs as well. Just it can just be quickly.
Give me 10 seconds on that. What's, well, a redemption arc
is someone that that's that's fucked up, but then found a way
(25:32):
forward. You know, guys, you know, guys
is a recent one, right? Guys is a recent one where, you
know, he was in jail. He's you know, I'm sure he
didn't list off half the shit hedid, you know what I mean?
Which is stuff that doesn't get you into heaven, Pete, you know
what I mean? And when you want to turn your
life around, you know, I'm big, you know, like for me, you know,
and I've never said this, you know, faith.
(25:52):
That's why I'm here, man. Like I can tell you now that my
mum was super religious and whenI was doing bad shit, I knew I
was doing bad shit, man. Even when I was doing bad shit
and I wasn't thinking about tomorrow and didn't think there
was a future for me. I love my mum and, and, and I
just had that underlying thing with faith.
And I know for a fact that faith's the truth, man.
(26:13):
So, you know, I want to share mystory about that and how that
works and understanding. Yeah.
So it's just redemption arcs, PKpeople that have done bad shit
that, you know, like I have. That's.
What helps people, doesn't it? Well, people that are at the
start of that arc. Spend the victim mentality, man.
The victim mentality, dude. You go through life thinking
you're a victim. Even if you are, you're right.
(26:35):
Because I am, man. I'm There's no question that you
know my story. You know, I was a victim dude,
in a lot of cases. Does that make sense?
Like I didn't do anything wrong early, you know what I mean?
But I was exposed to some fucking crazy shit and bad shit
and I didn't know any different. And then you go through life
thinking you're a fucking victim, you know what I mean?
(26:55):
And but that victim mentality isdoesn't get you anywhere, even
if you are, you know what I mean?
So it is about showing other people that yeah, you can be,
you can be be dealt. And it's in the intro, you can
be dealt a shit hand for sure. You know what I mean?
And plenty of people do get dealt shit hands.
But you don't have to go throughthe rest of your life being a
victim, right? It's.
(27:15):
Not going to help you. It's not going to help you man,
and by sharing these stories of guys that you know the the these
stories, man, they get to sit there and go, well, fuck me if
he did it because some stories, you know, some people can be,
you know, and you don't judge anyone story.
You know, everyone's stories is to them, it's as heavy as it is
to them. So it's not sitting here saying
(27:36):
your story's more heavier or or whatever.
It's more just trying to show that no matter how far you're
falling or how, no matter how messy it gets by sharing these
really, you know, in some cases really messy stories, maybe some
aren't as heavy or whatever thatpeople can connect and go.
It's just takes that one triggerPK to go.
(27:56):
Maybe, just maybe, he did it. Maybe I could do?
It plan a few seeds. Plan a fucking seed, man,
because I just know PK said it in the intro.
I did, you know, 30 odd years ofself destruction and whatever.
That didn't have to be the case, dude.
It didn't man. You know what I mean?
If YouTube was around and if there was people, like there's
plenty of people out there, which is why I want to, you
(28:18):
know, I have shown that you can do this and that's why maybe I
can now. But there's plenty of people out
there, you know, those stories are helping people.
And if those were around and accessible to me back when I was
searching and didn't believe andpeople were telling me that I
was a fucking loser and getting judged by, you know, I'm not
going to drop names and throw people.
But cock heads that fucking thought they were better than me
(28:39):
and that I was a cock head and came from, you know, you know, a
shit family or whatever the casemay be.
Do you know what I mean? If I had seen a video or, you
know, eventually I did like that's how it worked for me in
the end, I think I learned aboutNLP, which was neurolinguistics
and the patenting of the brain. But that wasn't that was going
to like a seminar. And there's stories about that
like, you know, the way I behaving at the seminar, like I
(29:02):
was misbehaving, but they're trying to change my life, right.
So that was, you know, one of the things that started.
But, you know, making these stories to accessible to more
people and me being authentic isgoing to allow it to go and and
and spread further. Hopefully that's the goal, you
know, and and help more people, man, that's the goal, because,
you know, I just know that my 30odd years of destruction didn't
(29:24):
have to be man. It could have been nicked in the
bud lot early if I had to have I'd, you know, someone to look
up to or if I had a heard or seen a story that was, you know,
in a similar. Like mine, they gave you belief.
They gave me belief to go, well, this dude did it.
But I didn't have that, man. That wasn't around back when I'm
46 years old. That was not around.
Social media wasn't around. Smartphones weren't around.
You lived in your bubble. You only knew what you knew.
(29:46):
And when you've got older people, teacher in my case,
telling me you're a fucking loser, dude, Do you know what I
mean? Like I'm 1415 years old
thinking, Well, yeah, well, probably fair, you know what I
mean? Like probably gave him every
reason to call me a loser as well.
But the responsibilities on these guys as well, right?
You know, as an adult, to tell akid, even if he is, but to say
(30:07):
that, well, that's that's crazy.Do you know what I mean?
Because they hold on to that andcarry it.
And ultimately you're kicking him while they're down, right?
Because they don't know the fullstory, the context of why I'm
acting out at school because of what I'm going through at home
or whatever. Does that make sense?
So yeah, I'm wrong. I'm getting too deep today.
PK you. Gotta save some for the rest.
Gotta save some. Yeah, well.
But man, I'm top trusted. But now, man, I'm loving the
(30:30):
loving the mental health staff like, you know, touch, touch
what I haven't really been touched by it.
But and definitely no people whohave been touched by it.
The fact that it, you know, suicide rates in males that are
so dramatically high. Like outrageous mean.
That tells you how much of A sickness it is that it pushes
people to do that sort of stuff. You know what I mean?
(30:50):
If someone could be pushed to that point that they do that to
themselves, I think it's just anawful, awful crime and the.
Rates are fucking outrageous, man.
And males, Look, I don't have the statistics here because your
brain's a bit, you know, like huge.
But the the rights, but the right it's a fact that the male
male suicide is is is rampant and and and 100.
Percent. So I love that.
(31:11):
So I'm a subscriber, I'm alreadya subscriber obviously, but I'll
be a subscriber. But yeah, man, I love the
opportunities that it's going tobring through that and you know,
whether it brings, you know, a specific sponsor or or charity
scenarios or something like that, man, But I just think it's
an amazing cause. So yeah, I'm loving that piece.
Yeah, and, and and I'm not goingto just like I want to talk to,
(31:32):
you know, just the extraordinarystories are still going to be
the anchor. And I'm not just going to be
looking for the crazy like arcs.Does that make sense?
I just want it to be anchored into that, right, Because
there's plenty of, you know, there's plenty of benefit in
talking to, you know, guys that maybe haven't had the redemption
arc, but showing a different side.
Does that make sense? But it's definitely going to be
anchored into that stuff. But I just want to say PK, man,
(31:53):
I fucking love you, dude. I don't think I've ever said
that, man. But I fucking love you, man.
You've been, I mean, you've had my back since I was an
apprentice, dude, when I was an apprentice and people were
judging me and I was having a hard time because I was a mature
age apprentice, because I was like to the party, because I
lived a fucked up life leading into that.
You know, you, you were one of the few that didn't judge me,
man. And, and you were a good dude
(32:14):
that everyone liked, you know what I mean?
So you were the perfect cat to not want to associate with a
dude like me or, or, or back me,man.
But honestly, man, I mean that Ifucking love you and I really
appreciate everything that you've done for me and my
family. And that's part you're part of
the reason why I want to do thisas well, man.
Like, I, I know you don't expectanything, but I, I would tell
(32:34):
you man, to, to, to stand on my shit and to, to blow this
fucking thing up and help as many people as as I can because
you've turned, you've turned up for me for 170 episodes, 170 of
them. Not exactly sure why you're
turning up. You know what I mean?
You. You.
Some bloody good guests in therethough dude, so I appreciate
that part of. It.
Yeah, yeah. But do you know what I mean?
(32:54):
Like from, you know, glazing over and and making some light
of it. But we've always been confused.
Yeah, not 100%. And it's man, the content that's
gone out, it's been epic. And everyone's always shared
that with us and the fact that we didn't even really sort of
get the core purpose to it or I.Sort of did.
I was just making cool people. But yeah, 100%, man.
(33:16):
So this is going to be awesome to see you go deep and to have a
clear and unwavering purpose to this channel, man.
Yeah, it's going to. Be crazy.
A clear direction man 100%. So should we shout out?
We want to shout out some of theearly guys as well.
Held down that third chair though.
Brucey man like shout out Bruce.Brucey, Man Jones.
Probably like he was, he was thehe was the 3rd host.
(33:39):
He was the 3rd host. Really.
Two seasons. At least two seasons so.
Brucey man, you're a legend. You dived in when we needed,
Yeah. And then, you know the times we
did and times we didn't. But you're always never had an
issue. Whenever, yeah, man, anytime we
said Bruce, you're you know, you're on or you've seen there's
episodes. Those episodes that I aren't in,
it's because I was having bad mental health days.
You know what I mean? Like I'd be going, I'm not doing
(34:01):
it today. And then I'd go Brucie, you're
on. You're up on deck.
Mate, on a chat, on a Google chat, do you know what I mean?
And he'd go, no worries, and he'd step up and even Harry and,
and Jonesy and Claire jumped in.He was.
On a couple, Claire was. On Claire's the perfect one.
Claire was the perfect one, right?
Claire was there going why the fuck am I on this?
And I was like, because I can't sit on it today, Claire and
(34:22):
she's like, OK, and she just didit for us, right.
Like so shout out all of those guys.
I promise I'm going to take keepshowing up.
But if we go back to me little spiel there PK the description.
I've got a caveat. New episodes every week.
That's the plan, you know, and that's to the point that was.
In detail, yeah. That's the plan and and I really
(34:44):
am planning and hoping to do that.
But like every like I said, man,I'm, you know, I deal with
mental health and I some days you can't do it, man.
Some days you've got to look after yourself and go.
I can't, you know, it's rattlingme now, you know what I mean?
But I said I'm going to do it. I'm all in and we're fucking do
it. I'm going to stand on business
and here we go now, PK, for the last time, bro, you know what
(35:05):
you got to do? Let's go see you at the top.
Let's go part of a winning team.People can find a better version
of themselves if they choose. You just need to go start some
shit. Action is all that matters.
Be a man of your word. Think I look back now and I'm
like, well, that took some guts.We can't, we can't.
We can't see you at the top.
