In this episiode we get a little peek into the homelife of Nels and Harriet as they contemplate divorce, an issue I am sure many children in the 1970s were having to grapple with. Nels suddenly becomes an expert fisherman and Harriet resorts to violence with eggs when pushed too far! Doc Baker doesn't mind his own beeswax and comes up with a cockamamie plan noone really follows through on.
Sarah and Emily also discuss the origin of "tell me longer," the elite status of Pepperidge Farms and Emily admits she thought our neighbor girl was a down and out drunk at age 11 for drinking root beer.
