I had some run-ins, everythingto stop me from getting on here
this morning, but guess what?
I wasn't defeated.
I kept pressing on.

In this season, I think it's soimportant for us to not get
tired in the wait.
I'm going to say that again Donot get tired in the wait.
I was thinking about all of thechallenges, the situations,

different circumstances,different lives.
Listen, I'm not even going tosay indifferent.
Life has been life and stillright.
You get a couple months, good,and then the next five you're
like, oh my God, is this reallywhat we're doing?
And yes, that's what we'redoing, but I know in this season

we cannot get tired in the wait.
So I was actually reflectingoff of Isaiah 40.
And I normally go into 31, butI went back to verses 28 through

31.
And that's again Isaiah 40, 28to 31.
Have you never heard, have younever understood?
The Lord is the everlasting God, the creator of all earth.
He never grows weak or weary.

No one can measure the depthsof his understanding.
He gives power to the weak andstrength to the powerless.
Even youths will become weakand tired, and young men will
fall in exhaustion.

But those who trust in the Lordwill find new strength.
They will soar high on wingslike eagles.
They will run and not growweary.
They will walk and not faint.
Lord, I thank you.

That is such a word becauseit's saying to me no matter who
it is, you can grow weary, butif you trust in him, we will not

We are trusting in everythingelse.
We are trusting in us and how,because we can't make anything

We tend to think that when weare blessed, when people show up

And I don't care if it's inrelationships, I don't care if
your kids just say thank you, Idon't care if you get
recognition at your job, I don'tcare where the blessing comes
from.
He had something to do with themove of the room, of the person

read over the paperwork, theperson that had the right to
approve or deny you.
He had moved in some type ofway In order for you to be

blessed in that very moment.
God is so powerful, God is sogood that even now in my life,

I swear I give me a good twomonths in, and then it feels

I'm fighting for my life, I'mfighting for my mental health.
I'm fighting again, for mypeace.
The difference about this year,though, is that my peace, my

My internal peace is stillthere, but I still recognize
that I'm experiencing challengesthat are new challenges, but
God is still showing up sayingI'm still here.

being behind the scenes, behindthe mic, in front of the
audience.
I struggled with that in thebeginning because y'all know
this is my safe space.

I miss this space.

But I used to think this wasliving my truth.
But I also found out I couldlive my truth being on, live,
being out in the open, beingexposed, and I'm not afraid to

live in that, I'm not afraid tobe authentic.
I never come with a piece ofpaper.
I never know what I'm going tosay because I always ask God,
you tell me what to say Word, mymouth, so that I am in
alignment with you.

We are aligned.
It is so important for us tostay aligned with God, and
that's why it's not enough forme to just say Lord, I thank you
all the day.
All day, I'm sorry, all day.
I have to be in my word too.
I have to go back to thatportion of it, and now I am

dedicating time every day justto spend with Him, just to spend
with Him.

Even just today, I was comingand already thinking the
scripture that I was going toreflect on, and he took me back
to say no, baby girl, I need youto also remember this.
I need you to also know thatyou get your strength from me,

so you cannot get weary, becauseyour strength comes from me.
God will literally give us thestrength that we need each and
every day.
When I'm weak, when I feel likemy faith is fading, he will

lift me up again.
He will continue to strengthenme to run and not grow weary, to
walk and not faint.

who we will see will know it isonly God that did it for us,
that lifted us up.
