Today on the Live Better Now Podcast my guest is Joe De Sena, founder and CEO of Spartan - the world's leading endurance sports brand and co-founder of Death Race. Born and raised in working-class Queens, De Sena has been an entrepreneur from a young age. He started a successful pool cleaning business as a preteen and later after attending Cornell, went on to a trading career on Wall Street. After leaving the corporate world behind and moving his family to rural Vermont, De Sena discovered his passion for adventure races and endurance events competing in multiple extreme races. In a single year he completed 14 Ironman races. All of this eventually led to him creating the Spartan Race, which has since grown into a global fitness and wellness brand with a community of over 10 million athletes worldwide.
Listen in to learn from the master of endurance sports and mental toughness!
