Sara and Joe talk in this episode all about knowing the right time to leave a relationship or a job. Sara says she has at times stayed too long - when it seems harder to leave than just to stay. Then one day enough is enough and you leave. Once onto your new life, you reflect and realize you wish you had known how much fun it is on the other side - And how much happier you are. Listen to Joe and Sara’s 6 takeaways. When any of these hit, it’s time to take a serious look at the choice of staying or leaving your relationship or your job. Trust. Once this is broken it is hard to recover. This goes for relationship or workplace. Are you exhausted? Are you around energy vampire(s)? Do you feel unhappy? What’s the opportunity for Growth? Is it a dead-end or is there room to grow? Are you ignoring red flags? If you are, you will get burned. Don’t turn away from these “godwinks”. Are you valued? Does your partner or workmates or boss value and take an interest in you? You deserve respect. Sara uses this question to reflect on a current situation: When you are about to take your last breath, ask that self: What would you want for me? Stay or go? That “older” self will let you know what you should do now, and seek to live without major regrets. The bottom line is don’t always play it safe. Reflect on how you are feeling often. Don’t avoid issues. Live Boldly whether your answer is to stay or to go.
