Sam Hyatt - Film Director and Producer

SAM HYATT is an independent filmmaker based in San Jose, CA, and the founder of Super Nominal Productions, a Bay Area-based company.Born and raised in upstate New York, he moved to the Bay Area to pursue a career as a mechanical engineer. Seven years later, he left the tech world to realize his true passion: telling weird stories on the silver screen. He thoroughly enjoys turning the minutia of everyday life on its head to create surreal experiences. His most recent projects, “Raise The Bar” and “Advanced Placement,” have screened at the SF Indie Shorts Film Festival, Charlotte Film Festival, and Atlanta Shortsfest, among other venues.
