(00:15):
Well, welcome to the Live toShoot podcast.
My name is Jeff Dole and I'vebeen a life firearms dealer for
the last 18 years.
In this podcast we talk aboutall things related to Second
Amendment, as well as anythingelse going in the world, a
sports story, or anything elsethat I might find interesting.
So welcome, welcome, welcome.
This is the podcast where westand tall for our God-given
constitutional protected rightto keep bear arms, no

(00:36):
compromises.
No apologies.
Just straight talk about theSecond Amendment is the backbone
of of our freedom.
So folks, today we've got afired up episode for you.
We're diving into the work of alegal warrior who's shaking
things up at the Department ofJustice and putting the Second
Amendment infringements in hercross airs Harmit di.
She's the new Assistant AttorneyGeneral for the Civil Rights

(00:57):
Division, and this is a gamechanger and we're gonna break it
down, down.
So grab your coffee, your rangebag, and let's get into it.
So let's set the stage.
You know, so for too long, youknow, the second amendment that
we've talked about has beentreated like a, the redhead
stepchild of all the Bill ofRights.
Anti-gun politicians, activists, judges and bureaucrats have
chipped away at our rightspassing laws that infringe on

(01:19):
our ability to defend ourselves, our families, and our
communities.
But the tide is.
Attorney and Harmit is leadingthat charge.
So if you don't know Harmit, lemme give you just a quick
background on her.
She's a conservative attorneyfrom California.
Yes, California.
She's a fierce defender of ourcivil liberties.
She's been a thorn in the sideof the antica settle for years,

(01:40):
and she's taken on big techcensorship, fought for free
speech, and now as head of theDOG Civil Rights Division, she's
made it crystal clear.
The Second Amendment is a civilright and she's coming for the
jurisdictions that violated.
Now let's talk about why itmatters.
You know, for decades, the DOGCivil Rights Division has
focused on everything but theSecond Amendment, it's all about

(02:01):
voting rights, housingdiscrimination, you name it,
important stuff.
Yes, but where was the love forthat?
Right to bear arms?
Nowhere the division was stackedwith attorneys who saw the two A
as a nuisance, not a cornerstoneof liberty.
Now in her harm meet.
In an interview with Glen Beckshe dropped a bombshell under
her leadership.
The Civil Rights Division isexpanding its mission to protect

(02:23):
the Second Amendment, she said, and I quote, second Amendment
issues are civil rights issues.
Boom.
That's the kind of clarity we'vebeen waiting for.
And she's not just paying at lipservice, so she's putting in
rogue states and cities onnotice.
So let's break down what she'sdoing.
Army team is going afterjurisdictions that openly flaunt

(02:44):
Supreme Court precedent and theConstitution when it comes to
our right to bear arms.
Think about places like NewYork, California, Colorado,
where anti-gun laws pile upfaster than spent brass at the
range.
She's talking about states andcities that pass restrictive gun
laws, ban so-called assaultweapons, or make it impossible
for law abiding systems toexercise their rights harm.

(03:06):
Harm, meets messages you won'tget away with it.
And she's got the Supreme Courton her side.
Decisions like Bron and Hellerhave made it clear that the
right to keep a bear arms isthat individual right, and the
government can't just wish itaway.
Our mates leveraging thoserulings to hold anti-gun
legislators accountable, and shetold the daily caller, her
division will focus on defendingthe Second Amendment alongside

(03:28):
other priorities like fightingantisemitism and ending race
bias discrimination inemployment now.
Here's where things get spicyharm.
Meets leadership has caused astir big time since she took
over in April, 2025.
Over 200 attorneys, about 75% ofthe civil rights divisions have
either resigned or takenbuyouts.
The established immediatespinning it like it's a crisis,

(03:51):
whining that harm meets, reshaping the division to push
Trump's agenda.
Cry me a river.
Our Meek's response, she'sunfazed.
She told Glen Beck over ahundred attorneys decide that
they'd rather not do what theirjob require them to do, and I
think it's fine.
That's the kind of backbone weneed.
Look.
If those attorneys can't handledefending all of our civil

(04:14):
rights, including the SecondAmendment, then good riddance
harm's building a team that'senergized.
Lawyers who are ready to fightfor our freedoms, not obstructed
them.
And she even said she doesn'tcare about their politics.
She just wants people who willdo the work and that, I think
that's leadership.
So let's zoom in on what thatmeans for us.
The law abiding gun owners harmrates focus on the Second
Amendment, could open the doorto new litigation.

(04:36):
For years, two, A cases weredismissed by court that didn't
see gun rights as civil rights.
But now the DO J's Civil RightsDivisions backing us up, we've
got a fighting chance tochallenge unconstitutional laws
and courts as ammo land haspointed out, this ship means
Second Amendment.
Civil rights can now belitigated.
He says, and they won't, andthey weren't before.

(04:56):
Take Colorado for example.
Post on X or buzzing aboutharmony, taking aim at what some
call the Jared poll.
Polis gun bans, laws thatrestrict, carry and infringe on
our gun rights.
One owner said that the civilrights divisions under harm
could crush rogue legislators, but it's not just about
lawsuits.
Harm's sending a culturalmessage.

(05:17):
The Second Amendment isn't upfor debate.
It's a right, it's not aprivilege.
She's calling out the hypocrisystates that claim to champion
civil rights while stomping onour right to self-defense, and
she's doing it with a fullbacking of fraternal General Pam
Bonding and the Trumpadministration.
So this is a top down commitmentto restoring our freedoms.

(05:39):
So, but outlets like, you know,M-S-N-B-C, New York Times,
they're all clutching theirpearls, accusing harmony of
weaponizing the civil rightsdivision to push cultural war
agenda.
They're mad because she'spriority things like keeping men
outta women's sports and endingwoke indoctrination in schools.
Oh, and she's defending thesecond amendment.
Sounds like a win to me.
But before we wrap up.

(06:01):
About, let's talk about whyHarmony's work is personal.
For many of us, the SecondAmendment isn't just about guns.
It's about sovereignty.
It's about telling thegovernment, you don't get to
decide how I protect my life, myfamily, and my community.
Army gets that she's not someour ivory tower Bureau Catt,
she's a fighter who's been inthe trenches taking on powerful
interest to defend ourliberties.

(06:23):
When she says jurisdictions thatfly out the constitution, watch
out.
That's not just tough talk.
That's a promise.
And for every governor who'sbeen harassed by red flag laws
denied a carry permit and toldthe error, AR 15 is too
dangerous, our meat dealing is abeacon of hope.
So folks, that's it for today.
Our meat's out there fightingfor the good fight for us, and
we've got our back.
We've gotta keep the pressureon.

(06:44):
Call your representatives, joinyour gun rights groups, and stay
hit the range and stay sharp.
Remember, the second Amendmentis gonna continue to be under
attack, but with warriors likeHarmit and our corner, we're not
just defending it, we're takingground.
So remember, this is a.
Ongoing battle.
And if we're gonna have tocontinue to fight, fight, fight,
because it just takes one roguelegislator or one rogue judge to

(07:07):
weaken our second amendment,right?
So if you've loved this episode, share it with people.
We've gotta get the message out.
We gotta tell people about howto, we've gotta protect our
second amendment.
Email me, message me, text me.
If you've got comments, commenton this podcast.
Give me five stars if you likeit and share it with your
