The Fallacy of the Self - Love Movement

According to the Self - Love Movement; “Self-Love is the act of putting your own happiness & well-being first...” In our first KIIC (Keep It In Context) episode we’ll take a look at Matthew 22:39. For some time now culture has encouraged Self – Love. Now, it has made its way in the church by misusing Matthew 22:39 to encourage us to love ourselves first before we can love others. Let’s examine God’s word to see how He instructs us on how we can love others. *In no way are these episodes meant to demean anyone, but to enlighten the body of Christ on how to properly interpret God’s Holy Word, which leads to a proper view of Him and application for our lives.
