Inspirational Producer Valerie Bush is someone whose eye for cinematic excellence and passion for championing emerging voices is changing the landscape of independent film. She is a powerhouse producer and the Head of Production at Antigravity Academy Most recently, produced Dìdi (弟弟), the breakout Sundance hit written and directed by Academy Award nominee Sean Wang.
The film swept both the Audience Award and the Special Jury Award for Best Ensemble at Sundance 2024—and was picked up by Focus Features for theatrical release. Her credits also include Fremont, which debuted at Sundance 2023 and went on to win the John Cassavetes Award at the 2024 Independent Spirit Awards.
From beginning her career in commercials, music videos, producing for top brands and artists such as YSL, NBA2k, WWE,, Kelly Clarkson, and Michael Bublé. She is based in Los Angeles. Through her inspirational journey Valerie is not just producing stories, she’s building the future of cinema.
