In this week’s episode, Rachel is joined by returning guest Josiah Ruiz Prieto aka “The Ganja Guru.” Not only is Josiah like family to Rachel and her family he is a walking encyclopedia about the healing plant of cannabis.
Josiah shares a brief introduction about his beginning journey with cannabis and where it has landed him today. He then dives into some extremely wild and fun facts about this beautiful plant medicine. Such as the fact that the government has a patent on the plant itself and many more that may potentially make you reconsider any assumptions you have about the plant, the laws, and its users.
There are many myths out in our world about this incredible plant medicine and Josiah takes us through some of them and debunks them through facts and personal experiences. He also shares many of the health benefits one may receive from consuming cannabis.
