In this third chapter of Genesis, the Serpent tempts Adam and Eve to sin and rebel against God, and they disobey God's command, eating from the Tree of Knowledge. Realizing their disobedience and their nakedness, they hide and cover themselves behind the trees from God, as He is walking in the Garden. God punishes Adam and Eve, and the Serpent, and sends them out of the Garden.
