Today we're going to talk aboutthree mental shifts that will
change your life overnight ifyou apply them.
And here's something that mostpeople don't realize.

I know this because I lived itand I've seen it in countless
others, people who go from stuckand uncertain to completely

And these aren't just ideas.

equal your future.
So most people are draggingtheir past into their future

like a heavy suitcase.
They refuse to drop, they letan old version of themselves
dictate what they believe ispossible listen who you were
yesterday has nothing to do withwho you can become today unless
you want to be that old versionof you but most people are

stuck in the i've always beenthis way mindset i've never been
good at speaking up so i guessi'm just a quiet person i've
always struggled struggled withfitness so i guess i'm just not
that i'm just not meant to be inshape I've never been
confident, so I'll always doubtmyself.

And, you know, the list goeson.
And that is a lie.
It's an identity trap, and it'skeeping you locked in place.
New perspective would look likethis.
Instead of saying, I've neverbeen good at this, say, up until
now, I haven't prioritizedmastering this thing, whatever

it is that you are strugglingwith.
Can you feel the difference?
One keeps you stuck saying,I've always been this way.
And the other one opens thedoor for growth and for new
chapter.
I haven't been like this untilnow.
But from that now, you arecreating a new story, a new
version of yourself.

And ask yourself, what is onearea that you've been letting
your past dictate your future?
And what happens if you decideright now to break that cycle?
then we come to the mentalshift number two, and that is
that you don't need more time.
That is the biggest trap of Idon't have the time.

You need more intensity.
And I hear this excuse all thetime.
I don't have the time.
And listen, I get it.
We all have responsibilities,but time is not the issue.
We all have 24 hours.
If time were the issue, thenwhy do some people build a
million dollar business in ayear while others take a decade

just to get started?
People love using a lack oftime as an excuse.
Including myself, I've battledwith that excuse for a very long
time.
I don't have the time to starta business.
I don't have the time to workout.
I don't have the time to fix mymindset.
I don't have the time forself-care.
I don't have the time to eathealthy, dot, dot, dot.

But truthfully, it's neverabout time.
It's about intensity.
And I'll give you a bit of aridiculous example so that you
would understand this.
If someone told you, can youmake a million dollars this
year?
You'll probably say, I doubtit.
But if somebody said...
You make a million dollars thisyear or your whole family and

everyone you love dies.
How much more alert would yoube to all the opportunities
around you?
How many excuses would you bemaking at that point?
How many more sales calls wouldyou be making?
How much more resourceful wouldyou become?
How much more intensity wouldyou bring to your work?

(04:39):
I bet you wouldn't need any ofthat motivation stuff.
And that's the intensity thatI'm talking about.
So the real issue is not thetime.
It's lack of intensity.
You just have to get obsessedabout the change that you want
to make or whatever you want tocreate in your life.
Successful people, they don'tjust work hard.

(05:03):
They bring insane focus andenergy to what they do.
They don't dabble, they go allin.
They don't wait for motivation,they create momentum through
action.
And I know you're thinking, butI can't be intense all the
time.
You don't need to be, but whatif for one week, just one week,

(05:24):
you operated at your highestlevel, no distractions, no
hesitation, pure focus, whatkind of results would you see?
And here's a challenge for you.
Choose one goal and attack itwith full intensity for the next
seven days and watch whathappens.
And we have mental shift numberthree.

(05:45):
And that is, I think, the mostimportant shift of all.
And that is that you get whatyou tolerate.
You get what you tolerate inlife, in business, in
relationships, in your ownself-discipline.
That is going to be yourmaximum.
If you tolerate feeling tiredall the time, you will stay

(06:06):
tired.
If you tolerate people walkingall over you, guess what?
They'll keep doing it.
If you tolerate low standardsfor yourself, 20, 30, 40 pounds
more, you'll keep having them.
A lukewarm relationship, abusiness or a job that's just
getting you by, that's exactlywhat you're going to get.

(06:28):
Whatever you allow is what willcontinue.
So ask yourself, what am Itolerating that I know is
keeping me small?
And here's the truth.
The moment you decide you willno longer accept less than what
you deserve, your life startsshifting.
You start making decisions froma place of power, not from

(06:52):
habit or fear.
And here's a new rule for you.
Set a new standard today, notnext week, not next year, now.
So I want you to identify onearea.
We're going to start with justone area where you've been
tolerating less than youdeserve.
And I want you to commit tochanging it immediately and

bringing that standard to a newstandard.
And all right, so we come tothe end of this episode and I
want to break down what welearned today because I think
that this episode was a gamechanger.
First, we learned that yourpast does not equal your future.
Who you were yesterday hasnothing to do with who you

choose to be today.
You don't need more time.
You need more intensity.
The results you want aren'twaiting for you.
They're waiting for you tocommit.
You get what you tolerate.
Raise your standards andeverything else will rise with
