The ability to breath is one of those things that we take for granted until we are not able to do it on our own. In our defense our breathing is controlled by the autonomic nervous system so we don’t have to think about breathing. It is only when we have a lung ailment and have to struggle to breath does it become apparent. I will be discussing common lung problems. In addition I will cover exercises and simple things that we can do on our own to improve lung function. Then I will be finishing up by talking about foods that we can eat to keep our lungs in the best condition possible.
