Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, hello there.
This is living your successwith yours truly, michael Caine,
win 24-7.
That's right, this is livingyour success 24 hours, 7 days a
week.
It does not stop.
It depends on how you definesuccess.
Waking up in the morning withmy mind yes, right, I knew who I
(00:22):
was and I woke up.
So that's the first success, that's right.
Everything else, ah, it'll come.
It'll come.
So, anyway, hope all of you aredoing great.
Um, this year is over half done, completed in the history books,
(00:43):
and you got to ask yourselfwhat am I doing?
What am I doing to live mysuccess, to be on that want to
(01:05):
dig deep into us, not just theouter us and what people see,
but what's going on inside thespirit, the brain, the mind,
that kind of thing.
You know the thought processes, because guess, what it starts
with your mind starts with thatspirit you have, and then
everything comes after that.
(01:25):
So what do you feel and what doyou believe?
Who you are, what you are, isactually you defining what your
successful life will be.
What will that look like?
So we I did a podcastspecifically on determination,
(01:46):
self-determination, so this islike a cousin to that other
podcast.
But so I want to talk aboutwhat's going on.
Do you believe?
Are you, have you reached themountaintop?
Have you reached the pinnacleof your career or your personal
(02:08):
life?
Do you feel that you're on thetop, looking down at this point,
are you still trying to get upthe mountain, trying to like
that choo-choo train, trying toget up?
You still trying to get up tothe top?
You know, honestly, and that'sall I can be, I don't see myself
at the very top at this point, but it's to me the journey is
(02:37):
just as important, if not moreimportant, to the destination of
that journey, you feel me?
So how we get there isimportant, just as important.
The ends justify the means.
We don't want to say that,because usually that's a
negative thing, meaning yousacrifice your soul, you did
(02:57):
something wrong to justifywhatever the outcome was.
We don't want to do that, wedon't want.
Well, you heard that thingcalled karma, right.
And you heard that thing calledwhat Prison?
You don't want to go thereeither, right, and so do you
(03:18):
have self-imposed limits onyourself.
That's where I kind of want tofocus this uh show as far as so
in so many instances, as we growup, since birth, and we age and
we grow and have experiences,so many people out there knock
(03:38):
us down, say the comments oh boy, girl, you can't do that, you
don't have the talent, you don'thave the looks.
So many people external to uswill already try to take us out
and I don't mean out for a date,I mean take us out of this
journey.
We're on out of our purposewalk.
So many people will do that forus before we even get to
(04:00):
destroying ourselves.
They will do that for you ifyou let them, and you don't get
to blame them forever either.
I know some people are stillgetting over what so-and-so did
to them 30, 40 years ago oryesterday or whatever, and it
may be true, legitimatecomplaint, but that's holding
(04:23):
you back too.
I'm not talking, I'm not goinginto a whole episode about
forgiveness.
I'm not doing that.
That's not my point.
My point is it's where youspend your time, how you spend
your time.
Are you spending your time onyou, on developing, nurturing,
growing, developing you?
Are you learning, taking thetime to learn new skills, to
nurture and grow the skills?
(04:44):
You do have to become expert, become kings and queens to get
your power back, to take yourpower back.
You don't ask for permission, you take it, you seize it.
Your power man, please havepower.
You don't do that, you take it.
(05:04):
You seize it.
Your power man, please havepower.
You don't do that, you take it.
And I don't mean by violenceeither.
I don't want people to go tothe one extreme to the other.
You don't want to be so weakweak and then be so like you're
in a tank, rolling overeverything and everybody in its
path, a path of destruction.
(05:26):
That's idiotic as well.
We don't want to do that.
There's a measured, balanceapproach to living the life we
always wanted to live, as I sayin my book Slaying your Dragons
it's on Amazon, by the way.
Slaying your Dragons Living theLife you Always Wanted subtitle
your dragons it's on amazon, bythe way.
Uh, slaying your dragons livingthe life you always wanted
subtitle.
And please listen, continue tolisten and support this podcast.
(05:52):
I appreciate all of you fortaking that time around the
world, wherever you are, whoeveryou are.
I appreciate you.
So, please, so, please sharefamily friends on Amazon, apple,
spotify, iheartradio and manymore.
So we allow restrictions orlimitations to be placed on us
(06:17):
because of inferior, weak-mindedpeople.
That's right, you heard me weakminded.
They look strong in one sense, but they're really not the
little, the little weak punksactually, and so don't get
deterred or frustrated or acceptthe bs from these people.
(06:41):
Some people, uh, you could bedeemed close to you, could be
pals yeah, pals trying to takeyou down, trying to take you out
.
A lot of people do what they dobecause they're jealous.
They're absolutely jealous, orthey're lonely and don't want
you to go, expand your horizonsand seize all the opportunities
and leave them there in the dustbecause they're not strong
(07:05):
enough to put themselves on thepath to success.
I try and talk about anyone, butwe've all been in these certain
phases of life, and so whereare you?
Where do you want to be?
You got to jot it down.
Where do you want to be?
Some of you like to wait once ayear and do New Year's
resolutions.
(07:25):
Really, you're going to havegoals and refine those goals and
purposes once a year.
I would encourage you to spendsome time.
Turn off the TV, the radio, theradio, right, okay, remember
that I'm dating myself, all themultimedia, social media, media.
(07:45):
Take some time out to you todetermine your, your destiny,
your path, not just to what, buthow you want to get there, how
you can get there, and so Iencourage you to listen to shows
like this.
I'm not the only one, but I dowant you to listen to mine and
support the show, where we cangive you tidbits of things you
(08:10):
could be doing.
First lay it out and then takedeeper dives into what does it
take?
What does it take, what does ittake to live how I envision, to
live in freedom, free ofbondage of all types, whether
(08:32):
that's relational or financial,or health or spiritual?
You say, well, I don't havecontrol over any of those things
.
You don't have control overeverything.
Of course not.
No one does.
No one does.
But don't impose limits on youprematurely or inappropriately
(08:57):
where it really isn't a limit.
But if you say it's a limit, there will be one.
Be free, be free.
Do you want, my friends?
Do you want to be free?
I know this isn't a live showwhere you can say, yeah, I might
call in, I want to be free.
Do you want to be free?
And I can certainly.
(09:18):
I don't have all the answersfor you, but I have what I have.
I do have certain pathways ofdirection that you could take,
but you know what.
You can listen to everybody youwant, including me.
But at the end of the day youhave to make the decision.
(09:38):
But I do encourage you to doyour research before making
those progressive decisions.
Decisions progressively is whatI mean to say, and the more you
learn and absorb like littlesponges you are the more you're
capable of making decisions thatyou feel comfortable with.
(10:00):
Making decisions that you feelcomfortable with, decisions that
you know will only help you andnot hinder you.
So the thesis here know yourlimits, what are your limits,
and are they true limits or justhaving a moment of inferiority
complex?
I know I suffered from thathistorically, just took myself
(10:24):
out of the game before anybodyelse did.
I've been back in the game.
I'm restoring everything theenemy has stolen from me.
Uh-oh, sound religious, notjust religious, but things I've
allowed to take me down and out.
It's being restored.
But if you give up and just say, oh, that's it, yeah, it's over
(10:47):
, game over.
Game can be over any day, anytime you want, if you make it so
.
So if you're suffering fromsadness or a deeper dive, you're
suffering from any leveldepression, I encourage you to
get some professional help.
I am not a psychiatrist,psychologist or professional
(11:09):
counselor.
I'm someone on the podcast thatcares deeply for people that
want people to succeed, thepeople that want to succeed.
I want you to to succeed.
Call me a coach, call me acoach, whatever, but someone
that cares.
So I would say you havesomething in mind that you want
(11:35):
to do, but you've been talkedout of it for by 50, 100 times
or people.
Maybe you do have some level oflimitations because you may need
to go to school or take classesor get tutored.
You know that may be the truththat you do need some schooling,
whether it's academic side orvocational side, or you know, or
(12:04):
getting some specific coachingto a specific field of interest.
Let's say, learn how to playthe guitar.
I mean take lessons.
You always want to do that.
Take lessons, learn, read, read, watch, watch videos.
Instructional Take classes.
It could be online Onlineclasses read, watch, watch
videos.
Instructional take classescould be online online classes,
(12:27):
community college, whatever.
I encourage you to do that soyou can go beyond whatever
limits you impose, allow othersto impose on you.
Perhaps you can overcome thoserestrictions, limitations, by
taking decisive action and sayforgetting, I'm tired of being
(12:48):
shy, I'm tired of doing this, Iam going to do this and knock
this out of the park Bases areloaded, grand slam.
I'm knocking it out of the parkand nothing will stop me that.
See how strong that was.
I hope it was strong becausethat's why I intended to be.
I am going to do this.
I'm going to do that.
I'm not going to overstand, extend myself and kill myself
(13:10):
either and drop dead beingstressed in.
I take care of your health, started to be more serious about
my health.
Go to the gym and exercise more.
Uh, eat better.
I can do a lot better.
But doing that, take some timeout, like vacations.
We've been doing that more.
Stop putting all those things inthe future, a future that may
(13:32):
not come.
There's no guarantee of thenext 30, 40, 50 years, 50 years
tomorrow.
There's no.
So enjoy today Doesn't mean youhave to be Satisfied and
totally content and stay whereyou're at, but Be blessed and
accept the things, the blessingsyou do have.
(13:54):
But still, if you're not done, don't be done.
I'm not done.
Baked chickens are done, butnot me.
I'm saying what are mylimitations?
Well, don't seem to beparticularly good at that or
this or that, whatever.
But if it's that important, work on it and even if you, uh,
(14:14):
are the only one that enjoywhatever activity or whatever it
is, and that your life ismeaningful as how you define it.
So I would say, when youidentify and know your limits,
go for it, go for it.
You watch the.
I like movies, I like films atdifferent genres, but you see
(14:40):
those action movies where all itlooks like is loss, the world
is doomed, but yet at the end itsurvives.
Why?
Because even people thatthought about quitting, almost
did quit or did quit, but theyjumped back in the game and they
saved the day.
Let that be you.
You saved the day.
Yes, you could be a hero ofyour own story.
(15:02):
Maybe it's a story no one elsewill know, you know, but it's a
story you'll know.
So, living your success 24-7.
The title of the show is a goalFor sure.
(15:22):
I want to live my life.
I want to live with a personallife, professional life,
successfully.
And it's not all about themoney when I say that, of course
don't be rich and wealthy andunlimited financial resources.
Of course I do.
Of course I do, of course I do,I'm doing that, I'm working on
(15:44):
that.
But I'm talking about a deeperfulfillment, a place that no one
can go in your head, your mind, your spirit, except for you,
and then you should share yourgift to the world.
Whatever the world is, it maynot be like Elvis or Michael
(16:04):
Jackson worldwide, or theBeatles, let's say, but it can
be in your local community, regional or statewide, national
or whatever level you aim totarget.
(16:25):
That's up for you.
Point is don't quit, do notQ-U-I-T quit.
So take yourself in a quietplace, in a place where you're
(16:45):
calm.
It could be a river or lake, abeach, a big, wide ocean.
Be under a tree Is your placeto chill out, to relax, to open
(17:11):
yourself up to self-discovery,even when you get tired.
Look, folks, I get tired andweary and I have said well,
what's the point?
You know struggling, toiling.
What's the point?
And again, you may have to getsome level of counseling.
Definitely get a pal, a friend, somebody that has your back,
(17:32):
without wanting something else.
I know through my life I'veencountered some good, bad and
ugly.
Good folks, let's talk aboutthe good and this is what you
should focus on.
The good A lot of times wefocus on the and the ugly.
Good folks, let's talk aboutthe good and this is what you
should focus on.
The good A lot of times wefocus on the negative and the
bad.
There's good folks out therewilling to stand by you, to
(17:52):
support you, to enable you to bethe best you can be, and that's
the posse, the crowd that youfocus on, and you you allocate
your time and then the otherones may mean well, but totally
(18:14):
negative and not supportive.
So you restrict your time withthose two and but they're not
evil, they're.
They may be misguided in whatyou need and what you feel and
what your goals are, notlistening to you, but at the end
of the day, they mean well, butthey're just not there.
So you don't want to bedisrespectful, but you know, hey
(18:35):
, you know, just know how youspend your time.
And then there's other peoplethat want to be negative toward
you, intentionally, notunintentionally.
Intentionally they're trying todestroy you.
Those you can't worry about.
Dismiss them.
Don't spend any time that youhave to.
You may be working with them, like me in the past, working
with the devil, but the devildoesn't win.
(18:58):
It's funny how these devilskeep popping up like the what's
that?
Uh, whack-a-mo.
You pop one devil down andanother one pops up.
It's gonna be for your life, those devils and those you got
to watch out.
Have that eye behind your back, how you got to have four eyes,
two in the front, one on the top, one in the back, okay, and
(19:22):
supersonic hearing so you canhear them coming, or smelling
where you can smell them coming.
Yeah, so you have to do you, be,you, work on you and push
(19:43):
through those limitations bypracticing, rehearsing, learning
those things, even if it's foryour own enjoyment, your own
fulfillment.
So it's important Now, certainthings you may want to monetize
and make money Right.
Monetize and make money right.
My hope, my goal, is to sharewith the world hope with the
(20:06):
world, provide assistance to theworld, but in a world again,
may be figuratively speaking, not just the physical world, all
continents, the whole worlditself, but may just be local,
may just be in certain areas, like, like I said.
So you define that.
(20:26):
But be content to the pointwhere you're grateful and then
be, have that energy and burnwhere you that burning desire to
be more, to do more.
And you got to forgive yourselfthing I struggled with.
You got to forgive yourself formaking I struggled with.
You got to forgive yourself formaking bonehead, stupid
decisions that messed you upRight.
(20:49):
Start from the day you say, oh,it's too late.
No, it's not.
Start from where you're at.
Start from where you're at andfeel free to email me at
MichaelCcanespeaks at gmailcom.
That's one of my emails MichaelCane with a K, k-a-n-e speaks
(21:10):
gmailcom.
Any success stories, anythingthat or any subject matter you
want me to talk about, discuss, discuss.
(21:30):
So the tools that you need varydepending on the goals and what
you want, but the steps againto reiterate, you may need to
take courses, classes.
You may have to read, or reador educate yourself to improve
(21:54):
upon your knowledge or existingknowledge base, to have a
foundation and have a, an actionplan, a plan that, in baby
steps, don't try to conquer theworld in one day, may not happen
, you may be disappointed inthat and target specific steps
(22:26):
in which you're going to takeand commit to, to where you're
going to move closer and movecloser toward whatever and
however you define success.
So, that said, this is all Ihave today.
(22:46):
It's been a pleasure and Iencourage you to keep listening
and downloading podcasts andnotifications on all the
platforms.
I'm available and I hope andwish you the best and you will
hear from me again.
And I encourage you to go on mywebsite and sign up for Catalyst
, the newsletter I have.
That is motivationalencouragement.
(23:08):
Tell stories about me and justothers, and uh, to encourage and
help self-motivate the readersand to Be, you know, another
form of coach to those who areable and willing.
Ok, so that's it.
(23:28):
I appreciate all of youlistening, taking the time and
till next time.
My friends, this is MichaelCaine, with Living your Success
