Speaker 1 (00:01):
Hello there, this is Michael Caine, with Living your
Success 24-7.
Hallelujah, how are you doing?
Hope you're doing great, hopeyou're doing fine.
All of you, thank you for beingloyal listeners to this podcast

(00:21):
.
I appreciate you.
I know we probably haven't metsome of us most of us but I
appreciate you.
I know we probably haven't metsome of us Most of us but I
appreciate you nevertheless, because you could be doing
something else Than listening tomy podcast.
So I do want to say HappyOctober.
Wow, halloween's coming up.
Can you imagine?

(00:43):
The next month is what?
Thanksgiving, and thenChristmas, wow, in that order.
So what's on my mind?
What is on my mind?
I was thinking about guesswhat's happening?
November 5th 2024.

(01:03):
Well, it's a general election,it's voting time.
I hope you participate, ifpossible, in the voting
experience and it's important todo your part and contribute by
voting what you feel, votingyour heart, whatever you do,

(01:26):
your intellect, your truth.
So many people have given theirlives.
So we have the opportunity tobe free to be able to vote.
Excuse me, wow, it's likesneezing today, periodically,

(01:48):
without a cold, and so anyway,um, you say the argument against
voting is well, my vote doesn'tmatter, I can't change anything
.
Can you imagine if 100 millionto 100 million people say, well,

(02:13):
it won't make a difference, sowhy bother?
Well, because, cumulativelyspeaking, your vote does matter.
Maybe statistically, at the endof the voting night, that, well
, someone won by 20,000 votes.
Well, you know, don't look atit that way.

(02:33):
Just say I participated and Idid the best I can.
I did my part to honor thosewho literally gave their lives
so we can enjoy the freedom ofvoting.
Voting isn't the same.
Around the world, even thosethat claim to be what can you

(02:57):
say?
Fair, equitable, fair-minded,humane.
I won't mention certaincountries out there.
That pretty much isn't.
You know.
Their voting system is a scam, not legitimate.
But do I believe the UnitedStates is perfect?

(03:19):
No, I don't Do I believethere's fraud going on?
Probably.
But what is that expression?
Don't throw out the baby withthe bathwater.
What if somebody did somethingbad on your birthday?
Does that mean we not celebrateyour birthday because someone

(03:40):
else did something bad?
That wouldn't make sense, wouldit it?
What about having a bad dinnerat a restaurant?
Well, you stop going to allrestaurants.
Seem how ridiculous that sounds.
Now?
Huh, it does, because that'sbecause it is so, but do what
you feel.
Um, so november 5th and this isa big one because you're talking

(04:06):
about the we'll decide who thepresident of the United States
is, vice president, whole lot ofcongressional and Senate races
and governmental races, localfrom mayors to city council, to
board of supervisors and etc.

(04:27):
School boards, etc.
Water districts, so this is abig enchilada and so I have to
tell you I have agonized over itand why some of you are
probably just going to not vote, you're not going to go there,

(04:49):
because you just don't know andyou're, you know, kind of jaded
maybe, and I can understand why.
You know the caliber of thecandidates is that question.
Significantly.
People believe their candidateis the holy grail and the other

(05:18):
one is the demon.
You know, either or bothparties demonizing each other
and and some um aren'tlegitimately, you know, showing
who they truly are, and thathappens, I think, in many
elections.
But yeah, when you have acertain mindset and then you
flip-flop and change your mindon something in short term, I

(05:41):
think that's the issue, bigissue, when you're so against
something and all of a suddenyou're not.
It may be a question oflegitimacy, and then the other,
perhaps inappropriate commentsand actions.
I think that's both sidesactually, you know it really is.

(06:04):
So I understand the reluctance Iwas trying to find that word
reluctant being reluctant toparticipate in the 2024 election
.
I believe this appears towatching the media is going to
be close, so your vote may wellmake the difference.

(06:26):
Your community, your people.
So, but do what you feel.
I don't want to encouragesomeone that truly hates the
system and doesn't have any hope.
I mean, if that's your case, then yeah, let it go, don't do
it.
But I would just sayparticipate as much as you can

(06:50):
in the process.
Perhaps certain races you willavoid and others you will
participate because you feelstrong and you know what you
want to do, and others you'restill murky.
Some of you are still sayingthe devil I don't know versus
the devil I know, and some ofyou are putting some of these

(07:11):
candidates to sainthood.
Maybe foolish to do that, butyou still have a right to.
So this is you know it's noteasy, but I just would encourage

(07:33):
you to participate at the endof the day.
And so you did your part, youdid all you could do.
Your candidate doesn't win.
You did.
What are you, what are yousupposed to do?
And I wouldn't fall apart, andI think I mentioned this on a
prior podcast.
I did.
It's like your world is notgoing to end at midnight or the
next day of november 5 and 6th,2024, if your candidate doesn't
win.

(07:53):
And those folks who keep saying, well, I'll leave the country,
leave, please do.
That'll help the rest of us out.
But it's just foolish talk.
You know that the zombieapocalypse is going to come if
my candidate doesn't win.
I don't think so.
You still have to go to work, you still have to go to school,

(08:14):
do whatever you do and earn aliving.
Get a living and take care ofyourself, your family.
Those things are impacted bywho you elect.
But in a day you need to havenot just a hope and a prayer,
but the reality is, life isn'tgoing to stop.
It really isn't.
It's not going to pause becausemy candidate didn't win or my

(08:38):
candidate lost.
You will live like you alwayshave the day before, during the
day and after that voting dayand time period is over, when
all the ballots have beencounted.
So it's just foolish talk tosay, oh, my life is over.
My life isn't going to be over.
In fact, you want to give awayall your worldly goods,

(09:00):
possessions.
I'll tell you where to dropthem off for me and my family.
If you think everything's goingto hell, so I don't believe.
So I believe, if it isn't theright candidate, it could be
hellish.
Yeah, true, it could have someproblems, true, but to say life

(09:21):
is totally over, nah, I ain'ttaking it to that extreme.
No, you know, disagree todisagree with me on that one.
But, yeah, zombie apocalypseI'm, you know, I'm going to
survive that.
We are my family.
And it's funny how people havefaith.

(09:43):
You can sit there in a whateverhouse of worship, go boohoo and
crying and yelling oh, I gotfaith, I got faith.
Lord, yeah, I got faith.
Whoever you pray to, whatever, but then something bad happens,
is oh's, oh, what are we goingto do?
It's over, the zombie's goingto get us.
The whole point of faith is toexercise it during certain times

(10:09):
, like when I went blind for alittle bit, literally blind in
one eye and already had issueswith the other eye, and it was
the result of an accident andyou know, you never know how
you're really going to react.
But I have to say I was proud ofmyself.

(10:31):
I didn't fall apart.
I literally saw my sight go tozero, and that would be a time
to panic.
You know that would be a timeto cry.
Know that'd be time to cry.
And you know what?
I called my dad.
I told him what was going on myeyes it looks like something's
happening and, um, I was aboutto get on the airplane for a

(10:56):
business trip.
That's when it happened.
I said really, you know, that'swhen the manifestation happened
, because I had an accidentearlier that morning.
Five in the morning slipped, hit my head on the end of a
table and went into my eye andcut my eye up, so but it was
okay while I was going to theairport.

(11:16):
But when I was sitting therestarted getting dimmer.
By the time I got on theairplane it was gone and so I
was like my god, that would be atime to panic and and I had
literally stayed.
I was supposed to stay there onmy trip all day and then fly
back home that night, which Idid.
They said why did you even cometo work?
Why did?
I said no, I came here, I'mgoing to fulfill my mission, my

(11:39):
duty, and I did.
Because I said what am I goingto do?
I went to the hospital where Iwas and the doctor said you know
what we believe everything'sgoing to be fine.
You should get your eyesightback with time.
So you couldn't guaranteeanything.
But he said now I feel you knowcould have been worse, you

(11:59):
could have lost a whole eye.
I said, oh my God, yeah, because if you don't have an
eyeball, you don't have an eye,so you're not going to see for
sure.
So I was very fortunate, veryfortunate.
And the point is, during theseelections, you need to have
faith, whatever that is.
I'm not even asking you to bereligious, but just faith in the

(12:21):
system, faith in yourself, faith that it'll all work out,
that it won't be the zombie, vampire apocalypse or your
horror movie of choice.
So don't want to preach, butyou know, I just hear people
make comments oh, it's all over,it's going to be over.
Where is the end of the world?

(12:43):
And if it is, what are yougoing to do?
Think about it.
What really are you going to doif it was the end of the world?
Just sit back and watch ithappen.
That's what you're going to do.
Get in your spacecraft and goto another planet.
Which one?
Okay, if you had a spaceship, that's another argument.
Right, mars, the moon, not.

(13:05):
Yet they're working on that.
They're working on that, but,but this, my message today was
to be of hope and encouragementto you know, not just go with
the flow because everyone elseis doing it, but because you
want to make a meaningfuldifference, um, through the

(13:28):
actions of your elected officialyou're voting for, or the
measure of ballot that's on thebooks to be voted for, that you
know there's all kind ofmeasures out, uh, in here, where
I am, and, um, you know youpray that you let the
legislature and the powers thatbe do the right thing and don't

(13:51):
mess up the money.
Some of them do stuff which wewould be in prison for.
So I hope there's nomalfeasance and misappropriation
and no stupidness.
The voters vote a certain way.
It should be carried out with, not BS.
It's very simple really.
It really is.
But when you have peoplecrooked and nasty and stuff like

(14:15):
that, people on the dark sideyeah, I'm talking about certain
people that are in power theyknow who they are too.
So, hopefully, the karma reap.
What you sow, whatever you wantto call it, comes back 24.
It does, really.
You may not witness it withyour own eyes, but it does, and

(14:40):
so, anyway, I just encourage youto do your part, not lose total
faith in the system and we havebad apples, bad characters out
there, actors as they call it sojust will you know society will
deal with them when they makethemselves known or exposed.

(15:01):
So, anyway, I want to encourageyou to go on Amazon and buy my
book, please.
I want to make a difference inpeople's lives.
That's why I wrote it slayingyour dragons, living the life
you always wanted.
I want to make a difference, hopefully in mass.

(15:21):
It's okay.
I'm fine and I'm blessed tohelp people that buy my book or
may have attended one of myworkshops in the past and heard
me or whatever.
I hear this podcast, and ifit's one person a day, then I am
blessed and I'm you know andI'm grateful.

(15:43):
But I do want to reachthousands and hopefully millions
one day, thousands of thousands, a hundred thousand, five
hundred thousand, eight hundredthousand, one million, two
million, and that's my desire.
My goal is to help people togive tomorrow a chance, to give

(16:06):
tomorrow an opportunity toimprove, to be better, to
realize your passion, your goals, to live your success.
That's why my podcast is calledliving your success, and so
please buy my book on amazon.
It's paperback ebook yourcategory type of choice hardback

(16:30):
and give it as gifts too thischristmas and on birthdays.
Please give it a gift.
It's affordable price and it'sa labor of love, and I'll be
working on the second book atsome point.
And so please share thispodcast and please sign up the

(16:50):
notifications etc.
And thank you to Apple, AmazonMusic, iheart, spotify.

hope you have a fruitful rest ofthe day that you listen to this
