Speaker 1 (00:00):
Well, hello there.
This is Living, your Success24-7, with Michael Caine, with
the K-A-N-E.
How are you all doing?
Worldwide, whatever country,continent, city, county,
wherever parish or location youare, I hope you're doing well.
I've been on hiatus for alittle while, so coming back,
(00:26):
I'm back, michael's back back.
Okay, I won't sing.
So how are y'all doing?
It's been a quick it's Marchalready January, february.
Wow, it's just zooming, zooming, zooming, zooming through on.
So what I've learned so farabout 2025 is definitely and I
(00:54):
knew this before, it's justvalidated you have to be
proactive in your life to reaprewards, benefits, financial
security.
You have to take decisiveaction and not wait for anyone
(01:18):
to hand it to you, deliver it toyou, and that's easier said
than done.
Is life easy?
No, no, it's not.
It's not impossible either, andI know a lot of people have
(01:41):
endured hardships, challenges,from A to Z, so I don't say that
lightly.
My point is is not to give up.
The point is just to directyour own path.
Yes, in baby steps.
Yeah, baby steps.
Baby step one, baby step two, baby step one is actually
(02:21):
dealing with your mind and thepsychology.
What's in your head?
What do you value?
What do you believe in?
Do you believe that you can win, that you can win the game, at
least sometimes, right?
So I was thinking, oh, thatcould be dangerous.
Huh, I was thinking of asentence, or two A sentence If I
(02:44):
had blank, I could do blank, blank, blank.
Now let me give you an exampleIf I had enough money, I could
buy that house, I could buy thatcar, I could pay for an
(03:04):
education, I could travel aroundthe world, I would be more
healthy.
What would you say if I hadblank?
I could do, or be blank, blank.
Now, don't wait for the lotteryto come in and God to drop a
(03:36):
pirate's load of gold bulliondown your chimney like Santa
Claus delivering presents.
If you wait for that, you maybe doomed.
I know that's harsh, but yeah,if you don't take action, just
wait for life to happen to you, then you give up your power,
your juice.
So can you control everything, but control what you can't
(03:56):
control?
You can control you, how youthink of things and the actions
you take, the plans you make, and be open to learning.
So, hey, I don't think anyone,I don't care how much money or
fame a celebrity, a person is, Idon't think anyone really
(04:17):
reaches the end of that road.
It's a journey.
I don't think it's adestination.
I think as long as you're aliveit's a journey.
I think it's as long as yourlife it's a journey.
Things you're trying to improve, people just because they have a
billion dollars or whateverthey have or whatever it is you
want, doesn't mean they'rebetter than you.
They're not.
Maybe more focused anddisciplined and straight on in
(04:44):
terms of what they want out oflife.
Now, that's what you cancontrol.
What do you want out of life?
Now?
That's what you can control.
What do you want out of life?
If I had blank, I could doblank, blank.
See, is that lack of action moreso than just anything else,
waiting to be perfect?
Well, you know people that tryto do that perfect thing.
They miss out and lose out.
They're done, I know they'redone.
(05:10):
You know they don't take action.
A lot of them just waiting forthis perfect day.
We're waiting for this perfectweather, waiting for this
perfect opportunity.
And what if it takes 30 yearsto come?
You want to be old and you knowand maybe that happened to you
I have both feet in.
I have both my feet, one in onearea that, as far as man wish I
(05:33):
started earlier.
The other wish I took someaction earlier, or inaction,
depending on what it is.
So.
Who are you?
Depending on what it is so?
Who are you?
Who do you wanna be?
Whatever those questionspertain to, whatever age you are
(05:56):
.
And so when do I direct myenergies to?
Is what you should be saying toyourself Am I betting on the
wrong pony?
Should I choose another horsehere to win my race of life?
(06:16):
The game of life, hoppler boardgame?
The game of life?
Start wherever you Are now, can't go back in the past.
And another thing is you gottado you Be you.
(06:38):
It's good to emulate and to Besome good things that you see of
other people you would like tobe like, but you got to be you.
It's got to be natural to you, which I've been thinking about
my own personal brand anddefining what that is.
I'm retooling right now to makesure and it's okay to retool you
(07:02):
can have a plan and say, wow, that's not working.
Maybe you have to tweak thatplan.
It's not working.
It's working okay, it's onso-so, but it's not giving me
the absolute results I want.
Well, you got to define who youare, what aura you want to push
out what image you want to pushout, what perceptions you want
to put out.
And I'm retooling myself thatway too, and it's good to
(07:24):
readjust when you see there'ssome room for improvement.
Always give yourself somewiggle room and not have an ego
that, oh, there's some areas Ican improve on.
Everybody can improve onsomething.
Everybody can improve onsomething.
So what do you?
(07:50):
How do you see yourself in oneyear, five years and 10 years,
even 20?
Go beyond that if you want.
Some people actually plan thatlong.
So it's important to define whowe are and who we want to be,
(08:16):
and it's a gap in between whatwe desire and what we accomplish
.
So you got to bridge that gapand what we accomplish.
So you got to bridge that gap.
So what's your personal brand?
What do you stand for?
What are your values?
(08:36):
What do you think aboutyourself?
How do you think othersperceive you?
I was thinking of, okay, what'smine?
I'm going, I'm.
I say, oh, this is MichaelCaine, your online coach, your,
your support system.
I can, you know, you can callyourself whatever, but be true
(09:01):
to what you're trying to shapeand form and strive to.
And so, anyway, so work on somehomework here.
Who are you?
What's your personal brand?
What do you want to accomplishon a personal level and a
professional level, businesslevel?
Where do you want to be?
(09:23):
What do you want to do?
We already talked aboutintentionality on quite a few
podcasts, and you can't escapethat.
You can't do it by accident.
If you do, the results may notbe what you're looking for and
(09:44):
you may not end up with thedesired results.
So our homework is to establishA personal brain, or tweak it
If you already have one and it'snot working as well as you
would like.
But things take time.
So you may have gotten on tosomething, a goal, you know, a
(10:08):
gold bar of a personal brand, but it just takes more time and
effort and maybe tweaking.
So it may not be a failure.
Maybe it is, maybe it's not.
But if you do fail at something, get back up and study it,
research it, analyze it, soyou're not doomed to repeat what
didn't work.
(10:29):
And so this episode, I would say, is about you.
It's about yourself, not aboutanyone else.
Who you're helping, who theseother people are family, friends
, enemies, frenemies it's aboutyou.
So spend a little time onyourself and get that I'm
(10:52):
archaic get that little pen, pencil and paper out, or you
need to put it on Word, put iton your Google Docs or whatever
it is.
Whatever's good for you.
However, you do it and writeyour thoughts down, brainstorm
with yourself and meditate andpray, if you want, and just
(11:20):
create something you're proud of, create that persona that is
you and not a carbon copy ofsomeone else.
It's good to emulate greatness.
It's fine, like, if you're aboxer, you look at Muhammad Ali,
mike Tyson, right?
You look at the greats GeorgeForeman, frazier, all those guys
(11:42):
If you're a boxer, and say, huh, let me take a little piece of
this from them and make it myown, you know.
And so, within reason, obviously, you know again, be a
carbon copy, because they canjust get their original.
Why would someone want tosubstitute so just getting ideas
and brainstorming by lookingout who's successful in your
(12:03):
field, whatever that is out, who's successful in your field,
whatever that is, and so I thinkyou'll be all right.
Why?
Because, if you think so, right, remember, take care of your
health, because without thathealth, the other stuff don't
(12:24):
matter.
It's a whole nother podcastabout health, but I just wanted
to say that when I haveopportunity, and so I wish you
all.
Well, obviously, I don't knowyou by name.
You have my name, I don't haveyour name, so, but just keep
striving, keep pushing andmoving forward and create your
plan, your personal brand plan, and we'll follow up with
(12:49):
personal brand and you know whatbrands are.
Let's go back for a moment, incase you question what is a
brand?
Well, you got Amazon is a brand.
Mcdonald's, best Buy, coach, louis Vuitton, lamborghini, ford
OK, these are all brands.
(13:13):
Ok.
Cornflakes, ok, and when youhear the name, you know what
their product is, because that'show strong a brand is.
You know when you hear Coach, well, it's pocketbook purses,
right, okay.
You hear Amazon, biggest onlinestore.
(13:34):
You know what Walmart.
When you hear that, what theydo.
So you get the idea.
Mercedes, okay, you get thatluxury car and Kleenex is a
tissue.
So you want to create you.
So that's your homework.
(13:55):
That's your homework for nowand it's ongoing.
So develop your personal brandin what you stand for.
When people hear your name, oh,that's that person that does
this, that's that lady that doesthat.
When, as soon as they hear thename of the company or personal
name of that person, they know, they know immediately.
(14:17):
They attach it to somethingthat they experienced or
observed.
So I need you to do the same.
Guess what?
I'm joining you, I'm retooling,I'm enhancing, because I'm not
totally happy with the resultsright now.
So I need to define, redefineand strengthen those areas that
(14:39):
I need to and abandon thoseareas that I need to abandon.
Anyway, I hope you had a goodlearning experience, and so I
will see you.
I'll see you.
I don't see you.
You will hear me soon.
