The bonus episode, and we are back, we are back, we

Episode and we are back, we areback, we are back, we are back.
Um, you know, we had to jump onreal quick because there's been
a lot of craziness going on alot and and we just we just been
away for for a very long time, man and um, we do apologize.
You know, life kind of gets ahold of you.

(01:00):
You gotta kind of gotta stepback and and and kind of get
your footing.
But we are happy to be backchatting and talking about all
this craziness that's going onin the sports world, but before
we get off into it, vales, howthe hell are you?

Speaker 2 (01:17):
I mean, I'm good, I can't complain.
Like you said, there's been alot that's happened since we've
last recorded.
You know we've.
We had Thanksgiving, we hadChristmas.
It's a new year, 2025.
I mean it's February.

(01:37):
Now, like you know, a lot hashappened.
Completed my first year of headcoaching, that's right.
Head varsity coach at a newschool yeah, happened um.
Completed my first year of headcoaching, that's right, let's
take that off the head.
Varsity coach at a new schoolyeah, and, uh, you know it
wasn't the year that I, like, would have wanted it to be, um,
but uh, my girls did grow, wedid get better.

(01:58):
Um, I feel like I got better asa coach, obviously.
Obviously, it's always room forimprovement and room for growth
, and so I'm just excited aboutyou know what the future holds.
But I mean, yeah, still hereand, you know, still watching a
lot of sports, listening to alot of music, eating a lot of
good food, there we go, but yeah, that's all that's been up with

(02:21):
me.
What about you?

Speaker 1 (02:22):
Yeah, man, I've been doing good.
Maybe some may even say great,uh, I've been promoted twice at
my job hey, hold on, let's clapthat up.
Hey, celebrate over here man, black women in tech stand up.
Um, so it's been amazing, uminto my 2024 and, even better,

(02:44):
start to my 2025.
I just recently came off of aspiritual fast and that's been
amazing, enlightening.
Right now, I'm just in a goodspace, man, and I just want to
just be positive.
Going into this year and, youknow, with all the different

(03:07):
things that's going on in theworld, I just want to make sure
I'm centered and I'm positive,despite the craziness.
Right now, yeah for sure.

Speaker 3 (03:16):
All right?

Speaker 1 (03:18):
well, let's not waste any more time Again.
This is a bonus episode.
Once we record like a real one, maybe we'll give a little bit
more into our personal lives.
But this is just a bonusepisode and we just want to just
.
You know, we had to do thisbecause it was like so much is
going on Without any further ado.
Beezy, please drop that beat.

(03:39):
That's right, you know, whenBeezy drops that beat, we're
getting ready to talk about thenfl.

Speaker 3 (03:51):
Yep, yes, lord, we're about to talk about the nfl,
all right.

Speaker 1 (03:55):
So since it's been so long, let's kind of recap the
nfl season a little bit.
Vills, did you pay attention toit at all?
Like just overall the NFLseason Did you watch that?

Speaker 2 (04:08):
For the most part, I want to say I did.
You know right now, obviously, you know Super Bowl is Sunday,
so a lot has happened over thecourse of the season.
But yeah, I paid attention alittle bit.
I mean the teams that, uh, Ithink the Detroit lions.
They had a really good year.
Obviously they didn't make thebig dance, but they had a really

(04:29):
good year.
Lamar Jackson was Lamar Jackson.
Um, I, I feel like he shouldwin the MVP this year, but, um,
it doesn't help his case that hedid lose to um Josh Allen and
the Buffalo Bills in the Iforgot what game it was, that
was the AFC was it the AFCchampionship?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
no, that was the second round, so was that the
semifinal?

Speaker 2 (04:50):
yeah, I think it was the semis which?
that should have actually beenlike a championship game right,
right, let's see who else justlike, really stood out.
Deshaun Watson is done not donein Cleveland, but like he's, he
should just be done.
I feel like he should be done.
He tore something, he gotinjured, yeah, he just came out.

(05:12):
Yeah, and I'm trying to thinkbecause, like it's been so much
that's happened since we've lastrecorded the Cowboys well, you
know, we'll get into that in alittle bit who else?
Who else?
Did anybody surprise me orshock me?
Rookie season for Jaden Daniels.
Jaden Daniels man.

(05:33):
Jaden Daniels man almost couldhave made the Super Bowl in
Washington.
He came out of nowhere as asurprise, like you know, as far
as being a rookie carrying theWashington Commanders, as far as
he did, um, I mean, we beat him, you know, but that second game
they kind of won at the buzzer,quote-unquote against us, but

(05:54):
we had no business winning thatfirst game in the first place
against them.
When I say we, I mean theCowboys, um, and then, uh,
chicago still sucked after theytraded.
What's his name?
Fields.

Speaker 1 (06:07):
Oh yeah, justin.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
Fields, justin Fields , to the Steelers, which you
know it wasn't too much drama, but you know, fields ended up
going to the Steelers, like Lisejust said, and he was starting
at first, and then RussellWilson came in and took over, in
which they were looking prettygood.
They just didn't make it far.
What else I mean?
What else happened?
Um, carlos didn't do much, Imean saquon barkley just oh yeah

(06:32):
freaking took over the nflsaquon man.
Saquon barkley did his thingwith the eagles his first year
with the eagles, um, and I knowthat was man, king, king Henry,
which, again, the Cowboys didn'tpick him up in the offseason
last year, but you know he didhis thing in Baltimore.
And is there anything else thatI'm missing?

(06:54):
That is surprising.
Oh, the 49ers didn't perform aswell as I thought that they
would have.
Very underwhelming, yeah, itwas a very underwhelming season
for the 49ers, yeah.
And then, oh, what's his name?
Aaron Rodgers didn't reallyhave a really good year after
coming off of that injury fromlast year, the first game of the

(07:15):
season last year, and then thisyear, you know, had a full
season, but you know theyweren't the jets, they weren't,
yeah you got my mind rolling, you know as you yeah, yeah, I'm
just, I'm just trying toquestions for you I'm just
trying to think of a bigstorylines.

Speaker 1 (07:29):
You know that we haven't talked about yeah, I
mean because it's been a lot butaaron rogers in particular.
Man should he just hang it up?
Is he done?
What do you think?

Speaker 2 (07:39):
I'd say give it one more year.
I'd say for aaron give it onemore year.
He's still mobile, he can stillmove and I didn't watch a lot
of their games so I really can'tlike pinpoint where the fall
off is for him Um, but I wouldsay for Aaron I mean, he hasn't
announced his retirement, sogive him one more year after
this year, if you don't make anynoise, if your team is not a
winning team, if you're notgoing to the playoffs yeah, hang

(08:01):
it up Aaron's 40 yeah, I mean, yep, so, and so was Tom Brady,
you know, I mean but and so,like that's what I'm saying,
like can we compare Aaron to TomBrady, though I mean that's
good.
But yeah right, he's not Tom.
But I mean, if you, if youstill got a little bit in the
tank, you want something, yougot something left to prove,
then try to prove it, but afterthis year, I mean if you don't

(08:22):
hang it up.

Speaker 1 (08:23):
Did you watch his documentary on Netflix?

Speaker 2 (08:25):
Whose Aaron Rodgers?
I didn't, I did not watch it.
It's so much to watch on TV.
He's a strange cat.
I'm sure that's a differentkind of dude.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
I encourage you and anybody else that have not seen
that, just watch it.
Okay, he's a different kind offella.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (08:46):
He's different, to say the least.
Though what about Russell?
Do you think Russell shouldhang it up?
No, because he played well.
He played well, russell playedwell, and I think that what's
the head coach's name?

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Mike Tomlin.

Speaker 2 (08:55):
Mike Tomlin.
You know, still, he still has awinning.
You know what I mean.
He's a winning coach and so,like, I feel like again, squeeze
all you can out of Russell, butobviously if he doesn't perform
, then you know, you have abackup in Justin Fields who is
young and ready, you know what Imean.
He's just waiting his turn andso, yeah, it was a lot of things

(09:15):
that happened in the NFL.
It was.

Speaker 1 (09:17):
Kansas City doing Kansas City things, oh man.

Speaker 2 (09:20):
Yeah, and I mean it was.
I don't know, it's some jujugoing on with Kansas City
because, like even the yearprior, or yeah, the year prior
when they won, I didn't believein them then and they really
didn't have a really good year.
Because when I was doing NFLfantasy the previous year,
mahomes was my quarterback.

(09:40):
He had been my quarterback fortwo years straight and I saw how
they performed last year andthis year.
They just looked like theKansas City Chiefs and they were
finding ways to win games.
That was just really justunbelievable.
And so it's almost like thewriting is on the wall for them
just to be just dominant, foryou know however long they're

(10:00):
going to be dominant.
But yeah, I mean, yeah, that'sjust where I'm sitting at with
the NFL and, like I said, we'lltalk about the Cowboys, but yeah
, that's just where I'm at.
What about you?

Speaker 1 (10:08):
I mean same.
I mean Saquon Barkley, you know, stood out the most to me,
obviously he did his thing hewas on my, excuse me, he was on
my fantasy team oh man, I didn'tknow that yeah, he was on.
I had like several so, but yeah, he was on one of my fancy
teams and he had a hell of aseason.

(10:28):
I mean, I just wonder, you knowwe'll get there um king henry
um again had a phenomenal seasonas well.
Like it seems, like every gamehe was breaking off for 100 and
so yards a game, so especiallythe beginning of the season.
Like you, nobody could stop himright um the jayden daniels,

(10:53):
just jayden daniels plus justthe washington commanders.

Speaker 2 (10:57):
Period um with a couple of our yeah, previous
cowboys coach.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
Yeah it seems like they got a lot of our Ex-players
and they got our coach, danQuinn.
And man, it's amazing.
It's amazing how, when youLeave an organization like the
Cowboys and you go somewhereelse, you find yourself almost
at the Super Bowl.
It's amazing.
I don't know how that happens.
It's so amazing that thathappens.

Speaker 2 (11:23):
I mean, look at Kellen Moore, he is inellen
Moore, he is in the Super Bowl,he is in the.

Speaker 3 (11:27):
Super Bowl.
It's amazing to me, honestly,yeah.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
Oh boy, and Detroit man.
I was really pulling forDetroit.
Detroit man, they hooped, theyhooped all season and it just I
don't know they lost that game.
It got down to that one, andyou know Washington took them
out and I was not expecting that.

Speaker 2 (11:50):
Who we didn't talk about is Jordan Love.

Speaker 1 (11:52):
Jordan.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
Love and the Packers, I mean they were decent.
Was he injured this year?

Speaker 1 (11:59):
I think for a little bit.

Speaker 2 (12:01):
Yeah, so I mean they didn't really make as much noise
.
The most that I remember fromJordan Love and the Packers is
how they beat us to sleep inlast year's playoffs, but other
than that they didn't really dotoo much.

Speaker 1 (12:13):
No.

Speaker 2 (12:13):
They didn't really do too much this year.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
No, and the Rams?
They came on late into theseason because Puka and the cool
was out.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (12:22):
But they caught a stride so they kind of tried to
make noise late and man theytrying to trade cooper wasn't it
cooper cup.
Um, I don't know if I I agreewith that, um, but you know
teams like to go in differentdirections they do um so uh

(12:43):
saints sucked oh, thanks forterrible the raiders sucked yeah
so raiders are terrible saintsare terrible.
And one thing I want to say realquick about these god damn
these saints, man, the saintsboy, they beat us.
That's why I said the saints, the saints super bowl, was them
playing the cowboys?
Yeah, man, they beat us.

(13:03):
And then they was having like alittle.
Was it like the little parade, the second line on our streets
and stuff like that?

Speaker 2 (13:11):
I'm like, oh, my goodness, one game that was the
only game they won a season andafter that I think they like
lost what six, seven straightright after that and I'm like,
okay, saints fans yeah, saintsrelax you're not that good, but
you're not that good becausewe're not good.

Speaker 3 (13:27):
Right.

Speaker 1 (13:27):
So okay, you should win, right.

Speaker 3 (13:29):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (13:31):
But yeah, I just wanted to clown the Saints man
Earn, I see you, man.
All right, let's talk aboutthese Cowboys.
Let's go on and talk about thisCowboys season.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Describe the Cowboys season in two words the two
words that I have in my notescowboys suck.
I just, you know, this wasprobably one of the most
disappointing seasons, um, thatI've ever like encountered or

(14:04):
witnessed.
I just, first of all, I didn'thave high hopes.
I didn't have high hopes cominginto the season.
You know, I just kind of wantedto see what they would do.
And, yeah, they, yeah, they didwhat they did and there was
some spurts of goodness, therewas some spurts of, like you
know, celebration.
But I feel like and I'm and I'mbeing honest when I say this

(14:24):
like I did not cheer as much.
I really didn't go.
I didn't go any.
Now that I think about it, Ididn't go anywhere to watch the
game.
In years past I would go tolike a cowboys watch party,
maybe even go to Texas live.
You know, like I didn't spendno money going to go watch them

(14:46):
play, nowhere, and it was a fewSundays, more than a few, that I
didn't even put on Cowboys gear, and that's really how bad the
season was.
This year we ended up losing Dakto injury, which I've said this
once before on the show, I'vesaid it plenty of times, but I'm
over Dak man.
I respect him, you know, and hedid what he did with Zeke.

(15:11):
And, speaking of Zeke, zekecame back.
Terrible.
He's gone again, which I stillgot.
Love for Zeke.
I'll never forget the rookieyear Zeke and the rookie year
Dak.
But I just think that we need togo in a different direction
from Dak in the rookie year Dak.
But I just think that we needto go in a different direction
from Dak and I don't think we'regoing to do that, obviously,
because you know we just paidDak last summer and we just paid

(15:32):
CD.
But CD, I think, is fine.
You know somebody we can gethim a quarterback and to get him
the ball, like we're fine.
But Dak, I'm just.
I'm over Dak, I'm over thisorganization, the coach that we
just hired, whatever you callhim.
I'm over Jerry, like he's, Ifeel like he is sabotaging our

(15:56):
team and I don't know if it's onpurpose.
I can't say it's on purpose,because I know he wants to see
them win.
Well, I would hope he does, butI'm over them right now, man,
I'm.
I'm really glad that we did notmake the playoffs, because it
just would have been nothing butanother disappointment, and we
had enough of that during theregular season.
So, yes, my two words would becowboys suck, and I really don't

(16:21):
know what the future holds.
I don't really know what itlooks like.
I mean, obviously we got to getthis new coach a chance.
We have to, I mean, becausethis is who they decided to go
with.
So, like we obviously got toget this new coach a chance.
But you know he's like you knowwe're going to win
championships and all that, buthe's just saying what he had to
say.

Speaker 1 (16:50):
But yeah, I just I don't know the direction that
this team is going in.
Do you find it to bemalpractice, to just did they
really even interview anybodyelse?

Speaker 2 (16:53):
I heard that they didn't interview a whole lot of
coaches.

Speaker 1 (16:55):
Like, do you find it kind of like malpractice, just
to just go with what you know?

Speaker 2 (17:02):
I wouldn't call it malpractice, or you could, but
it seemed really lazy on theirpart, like you didn't even put
in the effort, right, you didn'tput in the effort to go get you
you.

Speaker 1 (17:14):
You had so many options, so many.
What was that?
Ben johnson from detroit, youhad a chance.
Aaron glenn, come on now likeit was a few.
Freaking.
It's not that I'm saying he wasgoing to solve our problems.
What's the coach?
Bill Belichick, Bill BelichickNorth.

Speaker 2 (17:31):
Carolina, Yep, but even when he did go to North
Carolina and verbally committedto them like he hadn't signed
anything yet Nah, he was waiting, he was trying to see Right and
you had that opportunity tostill go get him.
You had the opportunity tobring prom to dallas like carol
like there was so many big namecoaches out there that you could
have went with, but you gotsean the gatorade guy.

(17:53):
I call him the gatorade yeah, and that was funny when I saw
that post like that washilarious.
But yeah, I don't even know whothat guy is.
Nobody he was.
I guess he was the.
He said he was the oc last year.
Oh child, yeah, I don't knowwho that is.
He's the OC last year.
Oh child, yeah, I don't knowwho that is.
He's the.

Speaker 1 (18:05):
Gatorade guy.
He's the guy that hands out thetowel when you come off the
field.
Right, he's that guy Nobodyknows that guy you don't hire
that guy as your head coach.

Speaker 2 (18:13):
You don't.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
Okay, who is that guy ?
Nobody knows that guyApparently.
You know what Jerry said.

Speaker 2 (18:29):
He's a a career assistant, so why do you make a
career?
He clearly did anybody elseeven want to interview him.
Had he gotten any interviewsfrom any other organization?
I doubt it.
So why would we hire him as ourhead coach?
Like it's right there for youto see some stuff?
You just gotta make sense.

Speaker 1 (18:39):
I don't remember them saying brian, brian
shottenheimer had to weigh hisoptions.
I never saw that, oh, brianSchottenheimer's in between two
or three different teams.
No, just our dumb asses.

Speaker 2 (18:54):
When I saw that notification I was like who?

Speaker 1 (18:58):
I knew we was going to hire him.
When he came back for a secondinterview I said they're going
to hire him.

Speaker 2 (19:04):
So this is where we are.
This is where we are as afranchise, an organization and a
fan base.
This is this is where we are.
We're still the laughingstockof the league.
Nobody respects us.
Still like.
We're still the same I don'teven respect them.
We're still the same old cowboysand we are.

(19:25):
Let's just stop this narrativetoo.
We are not america's team.
We're not.
We are not until we proveotherwise.
We are not america's team.
No, and I don't even know.
Like off the top of my head, Idon't even know who would be
right now.
Yeah, probably the kansas citypeople hate, them right now.
Well, I know they hate they.
Almost like the golden statewarriors back when they were
winning all those uhchampionships.

(19:46):
But we are not.

Speaker 1 (19:48):
I know for sure that it ain't the Cowboys, we're not
America's team um no, I meanyou're right, I mean we are, but
we're not and we're not playinglike it, we're not acting like
it and guess what I'mconsidering doing on Sunday
wearing a cowboy sweater.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
I'm still delusional, clearly, yeah because it's just
like I don't what, what elsewould?

Speaker 2 (20:09):
I put up like I normally always do.
That.
Yeah, because we're never.
We're never in the superbowl.
We haven't been in thesuperbowl since I was what?
Three, four.
So it's just like I always, youknow, when I go to superbowl
parties or whatever, like I'llwear, you know I'll rep my team.
You know now, other years wererespectable, I Bowl parties or
whatever, like I'll wear it, youknow I'll rep my team.

(20:29):
You know Now, other years wererespectable, I could walk in
with my Cowboys to phone.
But now I'm really taking achance in life almost Because,
like, what are you doing?
Like why do I have this on?
I'm wearing it because you knowit's supposed to be cool Sunday
and it's a sweater and I wantto wear it.
But you know I just Put it on.
You're a fan, I'm going to betalked about Put it on.

Speaker 1 (20:48):
Yeah, man, you're a fan.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
I don't this team.
I don't respect them right now.
I don't trust them right now.
I don't believe in them rightnow.
I just I'm tired of Dak, I'mtired of Jerry.

Speaker 1 (21:06):
I said the NFL and I made this post.
I said the NFL should forceJerry Jones to sell the team,
Deem him incapable of running afranchise.

Speaker 2 (21:13):
He clearly is.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
The man is over 80 years old and clearly maybe it's
dementia, I don't know, butsomething is not right upstairs
because, like you said and Isaid, who hires the towel and
the gatorade guy as their headcoach?
Nobody has interviewedschottenheimer for a head
coaching position.
Now that I know let me, let megoogle, I don't think so.

(21:35):
Nobody has hired or interviewedschottenheimer for a head
coaching position.
So why, jerry, in your braincells did you feel like this was
a great hire?
You know why?
Because it's lazy.
It's because you don't reallywant change right you want to,
you want somebody just to goalong, get along and go along.

(21:55):
And that's why we're stuck inthis place of meteorocracy, year
after year after year afteryear times 20, because now it's
been like almost 30 years in thesame state of this and and to
fire my car.
Okay, listen, I know I said weshould come from mccarthy's head
if we didn't go anywhere.

(22:16):
I did say that, but, given thecircumstances, he was playing
with an injured team or he wascoaching an injured team.
If you were going to fireMcCarthy, you should have did
that shit when we lost to Green.

Speaker 3 (22:31):
Bay the way we did.
No, for real, that was youropportunity.

Speaker 1 (22:34):
You don't fire him because he didn't have his team.
That wasn't necessary because, honestly, I'm shocked, he was
able to conjure up seven winsout of that bunch.

Speaker 2 (22:45):
Right, and he was still, and you could tell
McCarthy was, I feel like he wastrying to keep his job.
He was trying to show like hey,I don't care if it's the last
game of the season or the firstgame of the season, like we're
still out here, I'm stillcalling the plays, we're still
trying to make winning plays,we're not going to rest our
players, like we're going toplay.
So I really felt like they weregoing to bring them back.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Yeah.
I did too, because they washaving meetings.
But I guess there was somecommunication breakdown.
From my understanding, thedisagreement was the years.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
The extension yeah.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Yeah, so I think McCarthy maybe had one in four
or five and the Cowboys onlywanted to offer three, whatever.
Like I said it wasn't right tolet him go after this season.
Honestly, I think he did well, given the circumstances.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
My thing is why didn't you keep the same energy
with Jason Garrett?
I know you all ready to get ridof McCarthy and you don't want
to sign him to an extension.
Why didn't you keep the sameenergy with the clapper?
Like I don't understand thatyou wasted all of those years 10
, it was a decade, it was adecade, so you don't even

(23:55):
realize how long it was.

Speaker 1 (23:56):
It was 10 years with Gary sitting over there clapping
.
I think this is misplaced anger.
And who are we going to getthere?
And then, what baffles the hellout of me, dak?
What made Jerry feel like hehad to rush and extend Dak?

Speaker 2 (24:21):
he did not man he got injured.

Speaker 1 (24:24):
So check this out even if you wanted to keep your
boy that he got injured, youwould have got him for like way
cheaper than what you've gottenhim for.
That is now the highest paidquarterback in the league and
I'm trying to figure out why.
Why is he great during theseason?
Hell, yeah, that looks like atop five quarterback, maybe

(24:46):
sometimes a top threequarterback during the season.
Couldn't be more proud.
Couldn't be more proud?
Got my Dak jersey on proudly.
But it's just when we get intothe playoffs something tends to
happen.

Speaker 2 (24:59):
I don't know that Homer Simpson meme that's what
tends to happen.
That's exactly what happens.
That Homer Simpson meme that'swhat tends to happen.
That's exactly what happens.

Speaker 1 (25:10):
That's exactly what happens whenever we get into the
playoffs with Dak, so I'm notpaying that guy $65 million
extra.

Speaker 2 (25:14):
I'm not doing that.
I think they felt the pressure.
Why did you feel the pressure?
Because they felt like which Iwould have been fine going into
the regular season with CooperRush or even Trey Lance.
I would have felt comfortablebecause we're not season with
Cooper Rush or even Trey Lance.
I would have felt comfortablebecause we're not going to rush
to pay you, dak.
You haven't proven anything,bro.
Yeah, you've been here sincewhat?
2013?
But we don't have to rush topay.

(25:37):
You.
Count on your hands how manyplayoff games you won.
Maybe only one hand?
What are we doing?

Speaker 1 (25:44):
We don't have to rush to pay you.
They never had to rush becauseguess what?
Jerry told us at the end ofthat Green Bay debacle that he
was all in.

Speaker 2 (25:54):
He lied.

Speaker 1 (25:55):
And I'm trying to figure out where was the all in,
because nothing happened in theoffseason, so to me I already
knew I was done.
I was like I watched the games.
I don't really want to payingattention to the games.
I did put on my gear becauseit's just a ritual for me on
Sundays, because I'm just abrain dick or brainless slash,
brain dead cowboy fan.
So I'm just used to oh, onSundays I'm going to put on my

(26:17):
cowboy gear, but I didn't care,and I'm like Vales, I didn't go
spend any money.
Did I get anything new thisseason?
Hell, no, I was not going toput any more money into that
travesty that they call afranchise.
So my thing is, jerry, youdidn't want to spend any money

(26:38):
to make your team any better, sowhy pay debt?
Hey, how about this?

Speaker 2 (26:44):
Let's take, let's take, and maybe let's go grab a
quarterback, because I wouldhave taken a shador yeah I would
have taken a cam ward well, I'mnot a big fan of but okay but I
would have taken my chancesright it's better than maybe I
mean at this point.
It would have been a perfectstory had we just waited and

(27:12):
then hired Pram and then tankedfor Shador and got him.
That would have been theperfect, like marriage that
would have been great.

Speaker 1 (27:17):
That would have been great.
But even if we didn't getShador, it was laziness on the
coaching side, it was.

Speaker 3 (27:22):
It was.
It was laziness on the coachingside.
It was, it was.

Speaker 1 (27:26):
And we're going to move on, because I could
literally go off on them all daylong.

Speaker 2 (27:30):
It shows that you just didn't care about what the
fans felt.
They didn't care.
Like y'all are billionaires,y'all making this money.
Like it's going to run anyway, you're going to make your money
anyway, but it's just like yeah, and they're going to pay
attention to it anyway.

Speaker 1 (27:41):
They're going to support it anyway Not me.
Usually I'm going to go to agame.
I'm a type of fan that I willactually fly to another city to
watch y'all dumbasses play.
Not last year, I didn't, andI'm not going this year either.
You went to training camp, Iwent yeah, I did, I did, I even
hauled my little butt up thereand went and saw y'all practice

(28:03):
out there in Fresco at.
I ain't doing it again.
I am not wasting my gas on thismess, Jerry.
I don't care if it was free.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Right, the gas ain't free.

Speaker 1 (28:16):
The gas is definitely not free, and my time, my time,
wasn't free because I took offfor work to do that too.
All right, we got the 12th pickin the draft.
Obviously, we have a gazillionholes in the roster.

Speaker 3 (28:33):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (28:34):
Who are you?
Okay, because I don't know.
If you know everybody.
Are you taking Jenty?
Are you taking Jenty at number12?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
Jenty, what position does he play?

Speaker 1 (28:43):
He's a running back from Boise State.

Speaker 2 (28:46):
He's also up for a high.
Honestly, I'm not going to situp here and count.
I don't really know who'scoming out the draft.

Speaker 1 (28:53):
But we just need to Do.
You think we need a runningback?
Okay, okay, out of all theholes.
What do we need to prioritizewith that 12 pick?

Speaker 2 (29:00):
I think our running backs towards the end of the
year once we started using them.
You believe in Rico Doudle?
I think Rico Doud, he did histhing.
And real quick shout-out toMichael Parsons because he did
break that sack record.
I think it was the Cowboys sackrecord, okay, and I forgot what

(29:21):
it was now at this pointbecause we hadn't talked about
it in so long.
But, like shout-out to him, hestill played even though he had
got injured at the beginning ofthe season.
He still played even though hehad got injured at the beginning
of the season.
He still came back and wasstill playing like a lion.
So a shout-out to him.
But I mean, I really don't knowwhich hole to fill.
I don't know which one weshould.
I don't know.
I don't know the direction weshould go.

(29:41):
Yeah, I just don't know Right.
But you know, we're really notbad bad at drafting, we're not,
you know.
But I think it's just for us,it's the overall team aspect.
So I and I I trust them in thedraft is what I'll say.
Okay, so whoever we get, Ibelieve that they're gonna be
good for us.

(30:01):
I just don't trust us as awhole, like as an organization.
So I mean?
What do you think about?
Who do you think we should get?

Speaker 1 (30:08):
I do Well me.
I think we should grab Gentryin the draft.
I will say this aboutSchottenheimer he wants to run
the ball, he wants the identityto be run first, although Dotto
played great.

Speaker 3 (30:23):
He did.

Speaker 1 (30:24):
He started to put it together as the season went on.
I think that we need to have apremier back Now.
We also need to have a premierback Now.
We also need to have a stableoffensive line, and our
offensive line is just not whatit used to be.
Now granted, it is young, butour talent, tyler Smith, had a

(30:44):
great year.
Tyler Smith had a great year, but I forgot the other one, the
Mozzie Is Mozzie.
On Mozzie Smith, he did.
If our O-line could come alongI think that is another area of
importance in this draft is todraft the o-line.
But I also I would go grabjenty at 12 and then fill out

(31:05):
the draft with an o-line and Ithink we should be okay If we
can take the pressure off thedeck having to throw the ball as
much, we should be okay.
So, yes, establish the run,we'll see how things go.
Now another big thing MichaelParsons, he's coming, he's due,

(31:26):
he's due.

Speaker 3 (31:28):
So what do you do?

Speaker 1 (31:34):
Are you going gonna resign him?
Are you gonna trade him?
I hope not, or are you gonnalet him walk?
I'm asking you this no, I'mresigning.
I'm resigning.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Mike, I'm sorry, we can't let him go to another team
.

Speaker 1 (31:47):
That cannot happen even if you know you can get a
good return on picks because wegot holes to fill.
Right, and there's only so manypicks we got.

Speaker 2 (31:59):
I mean, that's a tough question.
I just see I've seen what Micahcan do.
I know he wants to be a cowboyfor life and I just think that
we should keep Micah and justtry to fill the other holes.
I'm not mad at our specialteams.
What's the dude Not Aubrey?
Oh, oh, matter of fact, shoutout to Aubrey, bro, our best

(32:22):
player this season.
He kept us in a lot of games,if not won us a lot of games
this season, the games that wedid win.
So shout out to Aubrey.
He was and I don't even knowwhat his percentage was and how
many kicks he made out of howmany he missed, but shout out to
Aubrey because he was our bestplayer and I said that at the

(32:43):
beginning of the season.
We were like two or three gamesin.
I'm like man Aubrey, our bestplayer.
Here you go.
That is crazy, and I'm talkingabout kicking from 50, kicking
from 60.
Yeah, I think I almost tried a70-yarder.
Yeah, like, shout out to Aubrey, because he kept us afloat.
He did In games that weshouldn't even have.
We had no business being in.

(33:03):
And then what's the dude thatbe running the ball back for us
Special teams?
Oh, turpin, dude that'd berunning the ball back for us
special teams.
Oh, uh, turpin, shout out toturpin.
I think I really feel liketurpin did his thing as well.
He had a couple of um, you know, punt returns that he ran all
the way back.
So shout out to him.
So, like I said, it was spurts.

(33:24):
Yeah, you know, in between hereand there was moments that we
had.
But, yeah, yeah, shout out toAubrey.

Speaker 1 (33:30):
But I feel like Turpin was a pro bowler and you
got to decide what you want todo with him because he's up for
contract.
Oh gosh.

Speaker 2 (33:38):
It's just, I don't know, liz, I don't.
I don't know, because I do.
I want to win games, I want toget to the playoffs.
I want to go deep in theplayoffs like I really do.
You know what I mean.
And so we got some decisions tomake.

Speaker 1 (33:50):
we do and we shall see man.
But as and we're going to wrapup the Cowboys saving man it
just right now, it's just a wayto see man.
How much does Jerry want to win?
And you got to start spendingthat bread.
You got to start spending thatbread you got plenty of it I
don't care about.
No, no, stand under the luxurytaxes or whatever the salary, I

(34:16):
don't care.
I don't care about none of that.
You are a billionaire, figureit out figure it out.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
Alright, let's move on.

Speaker 1 (34:26):
Super Bowl coming up this Sunday yep we got our arch
nemesis, the Philadelphia Eagles, and America's most hated, the
Kansas City Chiefs.
We both said that the KansasCity Chiefs have they find ways
to win.
They just find freaking ways towin.
Special thanks to Patty Mahomes.
The Eagles they didn't justhave a great season, but they

(34:53):
were good.
They were good.
Thanks to Saquon came andreally turned that team up.

Speaker 2 (35:00):
Saquon was a godsend for them.
Jalen Hurts was down a coupletimes with injuries and they
still found they were in theSuper Bowl.

Speaker 1 (35:08):
So yeah, definitely Saquon did his thing, broke
records and everything and I'mjust trying to figure out, like
you know, when Saquon became afree agent, where it was anyway.
Yeah, so Sunday's the game.
Who you got, who's winning it?

Speaker 2 (35:26):
You know this is like a.
It's almost like a lose-losesituation for me.
I don't want to see the Chiefsthree-peat, but I also don't
want to see the Eagles win.

Speaker 1 (35:38):
Well, somebody's got to win, somebody's got to win.

Speaker 2 (35:40):
It ain't going to be two losers, right, but I can bet
against Pat Mahomes.
So I'm going to go with theKansas City Chiefs for the first
ever three-peat in NFL history, which is even crazy to even say
.
But yeah, I'm going with PatMahomes now.

Speaker 1 (35:56):
Man, yeah, same, because the hate that I have for
the Philadelphia Eagles, manlike the Eagles cannot win
another Super Bowl before we do,like they already.
You know what I'm saying.
They already done won onerecently.
They cannot win another one.

Speaker 2 (36:09):
Nah.

Speaker 1 (36:11):
And that's the only reason.
That is the only reason, as aCowboys fan that you know I hate
to say that I am at times thatis the only reason.
If it wasn't for that.
I love Jalen Hurts, mm-hmm, youknow.
So I would definitely would bepulling for the Eagles.
But because I can't standPhiladelphia, I want to see
Patrick Mahomes and the KansasCity Chiefs do the unthinkable

(36:36):
which is three-peat this year inthe Super Bowl.

Speaker 3 (36:41):
Yep.

Speaker 1 (36:42):
Alright, I think those are our picks.
We both are pulling for theKansas City Chiefs.
Now what I call the main event.

Speaker 2 (36:49):
Right, what I'm'm gonna be waiting for uh, it's
halftime, baby.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Yes, not for real, though man, our boy, kendrick
lamar kung fu kenny, they callhim K-Dot.
He is headlining the Super Bowlhalftime show.
Kendrick has been on aremarkable run this year, baby.

Speaker 2 (37:18):
Well, last year, last year, this year, it's still up.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, it's still up, yeah.

Speaker 1 (37:26):
Man, I'm looking forward to that and K-Dot's not
coming along.
I'm looking forward to that andK-Dot's not coming along.
He's also supposed to bebringing my girl that I love,
sza, along for the ride, so I'mlooking so forward to this
halftime show, I mean.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Kendrick is, like, our favorite rapper, so this is
just like it's gonna be crazywhen that when that announcement
was made, it was like because Imean, obviously we hadn't, we
hadn't been.
Well, we, we didn't.
We talk about the beef a littlebit we would yeah so we, we
really hadn't been on since, like, the beef, like, had

(38:02):
officially ended.
Yeah, and you know, soon afterthe beef officially ended, um,
the super bowl.
Now, the super bowl halftimeshow announcement was made and
it was none other than KendrickKung Fu, kenny Lamar, yes, and
so it's going to be lit.
I mean, obviously there wasbacklash.

(38:22):
Oh, of course there wasbacklash, because the Super Bowl
will be in New Orleans and alot of people felt that, you
know, wayne should have beenheadlining the Super Bowl
halftime show.
And unfortunately for Lil Waynefans even though, like, I'm a
Wayne fan too, yeah, I'm a Waynefan for sure it just was only

(38:43):
right that Kendrick did this.
I'm sorry, and I'm not tryingto hurt no feelings, I ain't
trying to step on no toes, butthis did not give me Kendrick.
I mean, this just did not giveme, like Wayne, even though it
was in New Orleans.
It made sense and we stilldon't know what Kendrick got up
his sleeve.
He may bring Wayne out as aspecial guest, he may.

Speaker 1 (39:03):
He may bring, you know, your money and and cash
money and all them out, but youknow, we never, you never know
you never know, and and to yourpoint too, too, and I'm going to
let you keep going about WayneLike I'm a Wayne head and it's
just it would have been a moment.
I can see how that could havebeen.
A moment Could have been, butnah, I mean, ken was on a hell

(39:27):
of a run in 24.
And he just got that catalog.
That and Wayne does too.

Speaker 3 (39:33):
Right.

Speaker 1 (39:34):
Wayne has that catalog.
Wayne got that crossovercatalog.

Speaker 3 (39:37):
Mm-hmm.

Speaker 1 (39:38):
But I mean I just Wayne.
We haven't seen Wayne performin a very long time.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
Very very long time.

Speaker 1 (39:45):
And it just.
You know, this is KendraLamar's moment and I hate that
it kind of got overshadowed with, you know, Wayne, being a
little bitter about it Insteadof like congratulating that man
first you can congratulate theman first and be like hey I, you
know, I kind of had wanted thatand you never know, like you
say he could bring him out.
But I just wanted to speak onthat because, like I said, I'm a

(40:06):
wayne here.
It would have been a moment but, I think we got the right guy
wayne.

Speaker 2 (40:10):
We've seen your previous uh performances, sir,
your most recent performances.
It just wasn't gonna work out.
Kendrick is a performer, youare a I don't know.
I mean I I miss what youwearing, but like this, just
this just wasn't your year, bro.
Like I get it, it's, it's inNew Orleans and and I understand

(40:33):
what that would have meant tothe city and all of that, but it
just was not for you.
This year it wasn't.
I'm sorry, it just wasn't.
Sorry to all the Lil Wayne fans, but it just was not.
This wasn't for him, this wasfor Kendrick it was definitely
for Kendrick man.

Speaker 1 (40:51):
So, with all that being said, let's just play it.
I like to play the game of whatis he going to perform?

Speaker 2 (40:59):
Yes, man.

Speaker 1 (41:01):
I know that's what we get into, so Vails, I mean,
come on, let's spitball First ofall, what song is he coming out
to?

Speaker 2 (41:19):
He might come out to Do.
Do course, you know that'sgonna lead into the.
I think that's gonna geteverybody.
I think, okay, let me just saythis kendrick could either come
out subtle, like he did ineuphoria okay, and then like
turn it up okay, or he can comeout turned up and stay turned up
the entire time.
I don't know which, I don'tknow which way he's gonna go, so

(41:42):
but I think I feel like tv offwill probably be the first,
probably be the first.

Speaker 1 (41:46):
I just don't know which direction he's gonna go in
I think I think he's gonna comeout to not like us.
I think that b, I think youknow, I think that's gonna be
the finale.

Speaker 2 (41:55):
You know what I'm saying.
I think that's going to be thefinale.

Speaker 1 (41:57):
You think that he's going to close with Not Like Us.

Speaker 2 (41:59):
I think either that or All the Stars will probably
be the finale he goes out to.
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (42:04):
I can see that man, I know he's going to have to
perform.
Oh man, I think he's going tohave to perform humble.

Speaker 3 (42:11):
Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (42:23):
Slow down, uh, humble , yeah, yeah, slow down.
Uh-huh, be humble.
Yeah, sit down, be humble.
Yeah, I can see him doing thatfor sure.
Um, I think that he's gonna youknow, he's gonna go back and
perform some of his oldies, so Ithink that he'll do.
Um, I think he'll do swimmingpools.
You think he'll do swimmingpools.
It go, halle Berry, becausethat was a good one.
Okay, yeah, I can see him doing.
Well, no, not swimming, I'mtripping, not swimming pools.

(42:46):
Money trees, money trees.
You think he'll do money trees, that's what it is.
It go Halle Berry, hallelujah,he might do that one as an oldie
.
Another oldie would be swimmingpools.
Uh, I'm an onion and I'm two orthree shots.
I'm showing you how to turn itup.
A notch pool for lifting a divein.

(43:08):
Okay, so I can see him doingthat.
Just, he gonna, he gonna have acouple of oldies on there on
the can see that On the set.
I can see him doing he going todo Squabble Up, squabble Up,
hey, squabble Up, hey, squabbleUp.
And I just have a verse onthere that is my newfound
favorite verse on there, becausehe kind of he killed it.

(43:28):
It was that third verse.
I can't even quote it obviouslybecause I don't want to mess up
, but I can see him doing thatand, like we just mentioned a
while ago, all of the stars withscissors, and she's going to be
a guest appearance on ahalftime show, so I can see them
doing all the stars.
I can't see them doing Luther.

Speaker 1 (43:46):
That's too slow, that's too slow for the Super
Bowl.
You don't think he's going todo all right, because you said
he did it previously, but Idon't know it, just he may, but
he may not yeah, you know wegonna be all right.

Speaker 2 (44:00):
Yeah, because it is black history month.
First of all, shout out toblack history month, so he may,
and then I think, I another odin.
The last one that I think he'llprobably perform is a backseat
freestyle.
All my life.
I want money and power.
He spent my life.
I won't.
Money and power.
He spent my life for a diamondand a shawl.
Yeah, because specifically forthe, martin had a dream.

Speaker 3 (44:21):
Yeah, okay, kendrick had a dream.

Speaker 2 (44:24):
Yeah, like I can see him doing that, but I think,
somewhere in between the firstand last song, and I think it's
going to be the last song he'sgoing to do Not Like Us, and
that's the song that I want himto perform so badly, and it's
gonna be the last song he gonnado not like us, and that's the
song that I want him to performso badly.
And it's not even about Drake, even though it is about Drake,
but it's not even about Drake.
I think it was because it wasthe song of the year.

(44:46):
Kendrick recently just won fiveGrammys, like two days ago, for
specifically not like us, andso I think and you, you have to
do it, and you don't have to sayhis name, you ain't got to say
the verses that you was clowninghim on, but the beat, I need to
hear the beat, I need to hearthe instrumental or something
Like I have to, and so I thinkthat he's going to do that For

(45:10):
sure.

Speaker 1 (45:10):
Yeah, so I also think he gonna do DNA.

Speaker 2 (45:17):
Yo yeah, loyalty inside my DNA.
Yeah, inside my DNA.

Speaker 1 (45:25):
That's gonna hit.
Do you think, though?
Do you think he will doEuphoria?

Speaker 2 (45:33):
That could be a song that he comes out to.
And neutralize Like an onlywatching silence, because then
he gonna end with a don't tellno lie about me and I won't tell
truth about you, and then hegonna go into another song.
You can go so many differentways like he can.

(45:53):
He can continue to be the deadhorse, which I'm all here for it
.
I'm sorry, I mean, I'm still onthe grammys.

Speaker 1 (45:59):
He had the whole grammy audience and I understand
like the audience is full, likeentertainers, he had them all
saying a minor man.

Speaker 2 (46:08):
He has to perform, not like he has to like.
He has to perform, not like usI'm excited he has to.
He got something up his sleeveoh yeah it's gonna be dope, so I
don't.
I don't know how many gueststars he's gonna have.
Obviously we know scissorsgonna be a part of it, but I
don't know who else he has uphis sleeve that he's gonna bring
out.

Speaker 1 (46:28):
I don't know, do you think scissors gonna get like a
song to herself?
I think she might.
I think she might grab one shemight do a.

Speaker 2 (46:38):
She might do a.
What's the song called?
Oh good days I can see her, slowing it down for her slowing
it, slowing it down.
Because that was a popular songfor her.
She might do snooze, man,snooze.
But that's too slow though, yeah, yeah, she may do that.

(47:02):
That's a belt in here?
Yeah, she might.

Speaker 1 (47:06):
Yeah, man, I'm so excited.

Speaker 2 (47:10):
I am too.
It's good to talk about thesethings because it's the unknown,
we don't know what he gonna do.
We just kind of like makingassumptions and guesses.
But like, I think, I think it'sgonna be a really good show and
and kendrick always has to makea political statement and and
with the state of the world thatwe're in now, he could do that.
I don't know.
And then, of course, they'regoing on tour afterwards, so
